Today the trend of department Is increasing stores to satisfy consumers to enjoy shopping comfortably and purchase desire. Specially, high stores focus on the sale environment improvement for consumers's pattern such as different corporate images, new life style and value system. However, nowadays Internet shopping mall is generalized, so consumer can purchase high brad more comfortably. Therefore, department store have to show high brand image through new interior production in departments. Specially, the importance of department store's facade is realized to link of company sales promotion of stores. Because the purpose of department store is sale, so the role of facade display is very important. Specially, facade in department stores contains many various concepts connotative logics, so this is more important than other space. Facade shows product images and connects consumer's purchase desire. Therefore the purpose of this study to find out the characteristics of high stores in departments and to help facade design of department stores.

Recently, A manufacturing formula centered of the customer is one of the most important parts for the company competition. The structure of a digital controller based on modern control theory is more complex than that of a PID controller. In implementing the digital control of an actual system by using the digital controller, we often encounter gaps between theory and practice e.g. quantization error, sampling error, modeling error, contaminated noise etc. In such cases, simulator plays an important role in detecting difficulties. This paper demonstrates the importance of the computer simulator for designing a digital controller. The controller and the simulator are constructed by different computer respectively, with a link between the blocks by analogue signals through the A/D, D/A converters. Through the simulator test, we can evaluate the digital controller; identify and solve difficulties in the digital control. The controller, which pasted the simulator test, is used identically in the actual system. This was a successful procedure for designing the controller. As an example, we successfully constructed the digital controller using the computer simulator for inverted pendulum control. We then compared the control results of simulator and actual equipment. Furthermore we commented on the construction of the computer simulator which exactly expressed the actual system.

In engineering design environment it is hard to link design data and systems because the types of them are disparate. Therefore, the importance of metadata has increased. Some researches have been executed to develop metadata. But they cannot interact with other metadata and are difficult to extend. The purpose of this paper is to develop a common document structure which represents the general information of mechanical part assembly using XML, and to use it as base documents in order to integrate design data and systems. It is composed of part, assembly and user documents. Part document represents the information of a part independently to part type. Assembly document represents the location of constituent part documents. User document represents user's information. Common documents can be used as a broker between design data and systems, and it can improve the interpretability and reusability of document. We applied the developed common document structure to 2-stage spur gear drive.

Some wheelchair users with neuromuscular disorders experience involuntary extensor thrusts, which may cause injuries via impact with the wheelchair, cause the user to slide out of the wheelchair seat, and damage the wheelchair. Knowledge of the human-generated forces during an extensor thrust is of great importance in devising safer, more comfortable wheelchairs. This paper presents an efficient method for identifying human-generated forces during an extensor thrust. We used an inverse dynamic approach with a three-link human body model and a system for measuring human body motion. We developed an experimental system that determines the angular motion of each human body segment and the force at the footrest, which was used to overcome the mathematical indeterminacy of the problem. The proposed method was validated experimentally, illustrating the force-identification process during an extensor thrust.

Emotion regulation has been suggested as a pathway through which personality traits (e.g., extraversion or neuroticism) affect psychological well-being. However, the pathway needs further investigation across cultures due to variations in parts of the relationship reported in recent culture research. With an aim of improving current understanding of the pathway, we investigated the role of emotion regulation mediating the link between personality traits and well-being across two college samples from different cultural backgrounds: Korea and the United States (US). Results of mediation analysis revealed that the extraversion-well-being relationship was fully mediated by the degree to which individuals regulate negative emotions in both Korean and US samples. However, the neuroticism-well-being relationship was partially mediated by emotion regulation in the US sample, while it was fully mediated in the Korean sample. The role of emotion regulation differently functioning across cultures suggests the importance of investigating cultural-specific mechanism of psychological processes.

Customer Satisfaction Management(CSM) is becoming more common and the importance of measuring the CS Index(CSI) is getting higher and higher. Furthermore, the existing CSI have many problems in view of the link between enterprise result and those indecision, which could not explain the links clearly. Therefore, NPS(Net Promoter Score) index have been developed by Fred Reichheld and the NPS shows up rapidly and attract attention. In this paper, we provide conceptual frameworks on the links among the latent variables(total CSI, elementary CS and the referral) and propose more effective and practical index between CSI and the "would recommend" index through testing the Structural Equation Model(SEM) on "CSI${\leftrightarrow}$would recommend${\leftrightarrow}$referral".

본 논문에서는 최근 연구가 활성화되고 있는 전자저널 이용통계의 개념과 필요성에 대해 알아보고 COUNTER 그룹에 의해 진행 중인 이용 지수 프로젝트(Journal Usage Factor Project)의 동향을 파악하였다. 또 생성 주체별 이용통계 데이터가 가지는 장점 및 한계점을 살펴보았고, 31개 출판사의 실제 이용통계 데이터를 분석하여 다양한 오류와 문제 유형을 발견함으로써 출판사 생성 이용통계 데이터의 품질이 완전히 신뢰할만한 수준이 아님을 지적하였다.

When it comes to the use in inhalers in the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, there are many options, considerations and challenges, which health care professionals need to address. Considerations for prescribing and dispensing, administering and following up, education, and adherence; all of these factors impact on treatment success and all are intrinsically linked to the device selected. This review brings together relevant evidence, real-life data and practice tools to assist health care professionals in making decisions about the use of inhalers in the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. It covers some of the key technical device issues to be considered, the evidence behind the role of inhalers in disease control, population studies which link behaviors and adherence to inhaler devices as well as practice advice on inhaler technique education and the advantages and disadvantages in selecting different inhaler devices. Finally, a list of key considerations to aid health care providers in successfully managing the use of inhaler devices are summarized.

Multicasting is the simultaneous transmission of data to multiple destinations. In multicast ATM networks the effect of failures on transmission links or nodes can be catastrophic so that the issue of survivability is of great importance. However little attention has been paid to the problem of multicast restoration. This paper presents an efficient heuristic technique for routing backup virtual paths in ulticast networks with link failure. Genetic algorithm is employed here as a heuristic. In the application of genetic algorithm to the problem, a new genetic encoding and decoding method and genetic operators are proposed in this paper. The other several heuristics are also presented in order to assess the performance of the proposed algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate that our algorithm is a promising approach to solving the problem.
