5GHz 대역 MIMO 시스템에 대한 실내 전파 채널용량 특성 (Capacity Characteristics of the Indoor Propagation Channel for MIMO System at 5 GHz)

  • This paper presents capacity characteristics of the indoor LOS(Line-Of-Sight) propagation channel for MIMO system at 5GHz. The distance between antenna elements, their moving path, and number of transmitting and receiving antennas can be determined by wanted eigen-vlaue, and channel capacity of the MIMO communication channel using only reliable simulation without measurements. The simulation uses 3D Ray tracing and patch scattering model to which electromagnetic material constants are applied. As distance between antenna elements increases, distribution of the eigen-value show a tendency to decrease, but channel capacity increases in LOS environment. However, despite of short distance between antenna elements, large value of channel capacity is obtained in positions which have high AS. When the position of receiver antennas are shifted, channel capacity hardly changed, and as number of antenna elements increases, channel capacity also increases regularly.

  • This paper presents alternatives for facilities planning and analyses them using simulation approach. For this purpose, hydro-cylinder production line was sampled as a case study. Several facilities planning alternatives are evaluated based on the several factors such as line balancing, equipment utilization, optimum number of equipments, inventory size, flow time, bottleneck machine, and productive capacity. An optimal facilities planning is proposed based on the degree of meeting with the all factors evaluated. The simulation language employed in this study is SIMAN and the data used for simulation are provided by hydro-cylinder shop.

  • This paper describes the voltage induced at neutral line and the proper location of lightning arrester in combined 22.9 kV class distribution line jointed overhead line and cable each other Modeling is established in ATP Draw to perform simulation. Simulated distribution line at this paper consists of distribution line 4.2km and underground distribution line 2km. Overvoltage and induced voltage are analyzed at several point of combined line. Analysis results was compared to select the best point to install arrester. Such analysis technology will be applied to obtaining capacity and location of arrester in the similar combined distribution line.

  • The paper presents methods of determining the capacity and installation positions of regenerative inverters installed in DC 1500V electric railway system. We suggested a method that approximates using parameters related to substations where regenerative inverters are installed, railway lines and operating motor cars, and another that calculates using regenerative power obtained from Train performance Simulation (TPS) and Power Flow Simulation (PFS). We carried out TPS and PFS for Seoul Subway Line $5{\sim}8$, calculating regenerative power and determining substations where regenerative inverters would be installed and the optimal capacity and number of inverters to be installed.

  • 자동차 생산라인은 차체라인, 도장라인, 의장라인으로 구성된다. 이러한 생산라인들은 직렬로 배치되어 흐름생산을 거치기 때문에 전후 공정의 상태에 따라 라인에서는 starvation(물량 부족으로 인한 생산 불가능) 또는 blocking(용량 초과로 인한 생산 불가능)으로 인한 정지가 발생한다. 이에 starvation이나 blocking으로 오는 생산 손실을 막기 위해 WBS, PBS와 같은 창고를 개별적으로 보유하여 운영된다. 본 논문은 라인의 버퍼역할을 하는 각 창고들을 통합하여 운영할 수 있는 통합창고 시뮬레이션 모형을 제안한다. 적정 Stacker Crane 대수와 AGV 대수를 구하고, 이를 운영할 수 있는 운영방법론을 제안한다. 또한 개별창고와 통합창고 모형을 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 효율성 비교를 한다.

  • Dynamic models of line regulator valve(LRV) and ratio control valve (RCV) are obtained for an electronic controlled CVT. LRV and RCV are operated by variable force solenoid(VFS). Considering the CVT shift dynamics, oil pump's efficiency and saturation characteristics of VFS, simulations are performed and compared with test results. Simulation results are in good agreement with the experiments, which shows the validity of the dynamic models of LRV and RCV obtained. In addition, the effects of the orifice size in the exhaust port of RCV are investigated. Simulation results show that as the orifice size decreases, the residual pressure in the primary actuator increases which insures the large torque transmission capacity, meanwhile the duration time for the downshift increases.

  • The primary element of machining automation is to maximize the utilization of machine tools, which determines the output and lead-time. In particular, 95% of raw materials for wing ribs are cut into chips and 0.6 ton of chips are generated every hour from each machine tool. In order to verify the chip recycling system that controls the chips from the machines in five-axis FMS line, a simulation of the virtual model is constructed using the QUEST simulation program. The optimum speed of the chip conveyor and its operating conditions that directly affect the efficiency of the FMS line are presented including the chip conveyor speed, the maximum capacity of the hopper, and the number of chip compressors.

  • This paper details methods used to verify the adquacy of a dc traction power supply for design in Seoul matropolitain subway Line-6 system. Examples of the approach are given for a major subway presently under construction. The performance of trains operating at maximum system design capacity is modelled using a train simulation program. Using a dc network analyser program, the maximum train operating timetable, and a model of the ac and dc electrical suppy system, the electrical performance of the entire system can be modelled over a 24-hour period. The results of this analysis are used to determime: train voltage at a level sufficient to ensure train schedules: adequacy of traction transformers, rectifier, and switchgear ratings; sizes of the overhead contact systern conductors, and ac and de feeder cables: and power and energy demands at the utility company's supply points for inital and final timetable operations.

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 증가하고 있는 대심도역사의 제연 팬 용량에 따른 연기확산영향에 대하여 분석하였다. 시뮬레이션모델은 신금호 역사(5호선, 깊이 46m)를 대상으로 하였으며, 설계된 제연 용량과 실측 제연 용량의 차이에 따른 연기확산 영향을 분석 하였다. 현장조사 및 실측을 통하여 계측된 실제 역사의 제연 팬에 관한 데이터를 화재시뮬레이션 조건으로 적용하였다. 역사전체를 해석 대상으로 하여 총 400만개의 격자를 사용하였으며, 설계된 제연성능과 실측된 제연성능에 따른 연기확산 영향 비교를 위하여 화재 시나리오를 작성하여 Case별로 화재해석을 수행하였다. 계산 효율을 높이기 위하여 MPI병렬 처리기법을 사용하였으며 해석코드는 large eddy simulation 기법을 주로 사용하는 FDS code를 사용하였다.

  • When large capacity generation stations that consist of several large units tend to pull out of step from main power system, stabilizing control scheme as emergency control for preventing loss of synchronism of the whole stations with the remaining system is devided into two steps that the first step is to perform on-line prediction for out-of-step and the next step is on-line calculation of the amount of generation shedding for the rest of generators to be in step when out of step is expected. This paper presents on-line prediction scheme for out-of-step based on P-$\delta$ curve estimation using real-time measurement and on-line calculation of generation shedding. The proposed stabilizing scheme was applied to case study of real power system and the results obtained by the method compare well with the results by simulation.
