In this paper, we demonstrate an electrically band-limited carrier-suppressed return-to-zero (EB-CSRZ) signal generator operating up to a 10 Gbps data rate comprising a single-stage Mach-Zehnder modulator and a wideband signal mixer. The wideband signal mixer comprises inverter stages, a mixing stage, and a gain amplifier. It is implemented by using a 0.13 ${\mu}m$ CMOS technology. Its transmission response shows a frequency range from DC to 6.4 GHz, and the isolation response between data and clock signals is about 21 dB at 6.4 GHz. Experimental results show optical spectral narrowing due to incorporating an electrical band-limiting filter and some waveform distortion due to bandwidth limitation by the filter. At 10 Gbps transmission, the chromatic dispersion tolerance of the EB-CSRZ signal is better than that of NRZ-modulated signal in single-mode fiber.

This study attempts to suggest a new approach of the the determination of location and range of fishing ground in the coastal vessel fishery using the anaiysis of variance(ANOVA) and least significant difference test(LSD test) in statistics. The important result of the empirical study is that there is no significant difference in fisfishing ground based on between fishermen's argument and spot investigation. But there is stastitically significant difference in fisfishing ground based on between fishermen's argument and the official documents of fishing records for past three years. The results suggest us that there exists a possibility of misuse of tax free oil providied for subsidizing fisheries. But because of the range limitation of data, it is impossible for us to generalize the above results.

Most studies of organizational effectiveness previously done, have measured financial performance such as productivity, efficiency or subjective performance such as a commitment, satisfaction, and turnover intention of employees. However, these measurements have limitations to evaluate a organizational effectiveness in recent knowledge information era because evaluation of organizational effectiveness in knowledge-based society needs measurements in various aspects such as financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth. The purpose of this study is to overcome these problems and to introduce an appropriate system for evaluation of organizational effectiveness under knowledge management paradigm. In this paper, we suggest a Balanced Scorecard(BSC) as a new measurement standard of organizational effectiveness in a knowledge information era. The balanced scorecard is designed to help firms that have historically overemphasized short-term financial performance. When measuring organizational effectiveness through Balanced Scorecard(BSC) suggested by Kaplan and Norton[31], it is to present the measurement indices that can cover the limitation of the past evaluation indices of organizational effectiveness.

A protection profile is the required specification document by consumer groups to specify what security purpose they would like to have in their specialized products. A protection profile assumption is the document that specifies consumer environment in the physical, artificial, network perspective and the contents of intended usage which include usage limitation, the value of latent asset, and additional applications for a TOE (Target of Evaluation). In this paper, we compare the assumptions of the NSA IDS PP and the IDS PP for government.

This paper proposes CPR(Computer-based patient record) system that is utilized in Ubiquitous environment, establish security policy by analyzing security limitation of system and design suitable security system in CPR system. The present study designed a CPR system and, for the development of a security system, established security policies for the CPR system through analyzing the operating environment and vulnerability in security and designed a security system implementing the policies. The security system supporting CPR system is composed of authentication system, XML documentation and encryption of medical information and network security system.

An optimal cooling method for a long HTS power transmission cable was scrutinized by using theoretical models. Cooling length of HTS cable is determined by pressure range and temperature range of LN2 in the HTS cable. Results showed limitation from temperature range is stricter than that from pressure range. The well-known one-side cooling was modified to two-side cooling. It was shown that cooling length can be nearly doubled by adopting two-side cooling of the same capacity.

If the mechanical development be applied to the Nuclear Power Plant Structures instead of the standard hook development, the problem of overcrowding re-bars in the anchorage zone can be solved and the construction quality of the concrete work will be improved. But there are some problems in applying it to the NPP structures because of the restriction on the re-bar yield strength and diameter. After the performance evaluation test for the mechanical development, we can develop the new design equation of the mechanical development length in order to solve the limitation and apply it to NPP structures.

In future what kind of costume do we wear\ulcorner We can guess it is in advance through movie. Movie is a comnipresent medium and a mode of expression that reflect a distintive feature of the times like fashion. In many case costume design which belongs to a special era is based on the historic costumes but ostume design for future movie depends on the creativity of costume designer and director. Therefore it is interesting to research how costume designer get his/her design concept for future ccostume in movie how he/hse express his/her design concept through his/her costume and can we convince the design comes true practically in future. In this study I analyze the costume design of masterpieces among SF Film: (Metropolis/1926) (2001: A Space Odyssey/1968) (Star Wars/1977) (Blade Runner/1982) (The 5th Element/1977) Because this study is analyzed not through the original article but just through movie it has some limitation in exact materials or color.

A detailed satellite panel thermal model composed of more than thousands nodes can not be directly integrated into a spacecraft thermal model due to its node size and the limitation of commercial satellite thermal analysis programs. For the integration of the panel into the satellite thermal model, a reduced thermal model having proper accuracy is required. A thermal model reduction method was developed and validated by using a geostationary satellite panel. The temperature differences of main components between the detailed and the reduced thermal model were less than $1^{\circ}C$ in steady state analysis. Also, the dynamic responses of the detailed and the reduced thermal model show very similar trends. Thus, the developed reduction method can be applicable to actual satellite thermal design and analysis with resonable accuracy and convenience.

Neurologic sequelae of tuberculous meningitis include hemiparesis, paraparesis, quadriparesis, aphasia, developmental delay, dementia, blindness, visual field defect, deafness, cranial nerve palsies, epilepsy, and hypothalamic and pituitary dysfunction. But cervical epidural abscess and cervical spondylitis are rare. A 64-year-old woman who was diagnosed as tuberculous meningitis presented a severe neck pain and stiffness after 3 weeks of anti-tuberculous medication. Electromyography and cervical X-ray showed a cervical spondylosis with polyradiculopathy. But cervical MRI showed an acute cervical epidural abscess and mild cervical spondylitis. After continuous anti-tuberculous medication with supportive care, she showed a slow clinical improvement. But about 1 month of anti-tuberculous therapy, she presented a more aggravation of neck pain, neck stiffness, radicular pain, and neck motion limitation. Follow-up cervical MRI showed an more advanced cervical spondylitis. Afterthen she has recovered slowly by cervical laminectomy with posterior stabilization and continuous anti-tuberculous medication.
