계보자료를 많이 소장하고 있는 도서관에서는 일반자료와는 다르게 각별히 관리할 필요가 있다. 지금까지 한국의 도서관에서는 계보관련 자료의 효용가치가 많음에도 불구하고 그 수집방법이 족보에 한정되거나 체계적이지 못하고, 소장된 자료에 대해서도 그 조직이 합리적이지 못한 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구는 국내외의 계보자료의 관리사례를 조사하고, 계보자료를 많이 소장하고 있는 도서관을 중심으로 그 수집과 분류 및 편목 등의 자료조직 실태를 파악하며, 이를 바탕으로 원활한 장서관리와 정보검색이 될 수 있도록 계보자료의 수집과 자료조직상의 개선책을 강구하는 데 그 목적이 있다.

본 연구에서는 공공도서관의 서비스 프로그램 운영과정에서 생산된 '서비스 데이터'를 서지데이터와 연계하여 도서관 목록을 개선시키고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2015년에 우수 도서관으로 선정된 공공도서관 7곳을 대상으로 서비스 데이터를 수집하고 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 서지데이터와 서비스 데이터를 서지프레임워크를 적용하여 시범적으로 연계하고, 활용 가능한 인터페이스를 제안하였다. 본 연구결과는 1) 선별적이고 가치 평가가 포함된 서지데이터를 확보하고, 2) 장서의 생애주기 동안 서지데이터를 지속적으로 업데이트할 수 있게 되며, 3) 체계적으로 관리되기 어려웠던 서지데이터의 보존성과 공유 가능성을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 4) 시맨틱웹 환경에서 외부 링크드 데이터를 추가적으로 연계할 수 있는 서지데이터 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

이 연구는 2011년 현재 운영중인 7개 외국학술지지원센터의 운영효과를 점검하기 위해 그 비용과 편익을 분석하였다. 사업개시부터 30년 경과시점을 기준으로 한 투자타당성 분석 결과, 비용편익 비율(BCR)은 0.99, 내부수익률(IRR)은 5.49%, 누적순현재가치(NPV)는 -507백만원으로 나타났다. 다만 민감도분석에서는 저널 이용건수와 사회적 할인율, 중복구독 중단 등의 항목의 변화에 따라 비용편익비율이 변화할 수 있음을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 조직몰입의 선행변수들이 조직몰입과 어떤 상관관계가 있으며, 그 영향력은 어떠한지를 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 사서들의 개인적 특성, 직무특성, 조직특성 및 작업경험을 독립변수로 하고 가치몰입과 근속몰입을 종속변수로 선정하였다. 데이터는 부산지역 17개 공공도서관 사서 128명을 대상으로 설문조사를 행하였다. 연구결과 1)남자보다는 여자가, 직급이 높을수록 몰입도는 더 높게 나타났다. 2)집권화는 조직몰입과 부(-)의 관계이다. 3)조직몰입에 미치는 영향력은 작업경험이 가장 크고, 그 다음은 조직특성, 직무특성의 순으로 나타났다.

Reading education is very important in order to promote the refinement, cultivate the emotion and complete the character to the secondary school students. This thesis deals with the establishment of reading education as a formal course in secondary schools, responsibility of teaching and problems related to recommended reading lists. Reading education must separate from the national language education because of literature centered education in reading education. If reading education was separated from the national language education, students can a n.0, pproach to the other cultural boundary besides other own and exchange their information and ideas. So, reading education must be included to the elective subjects in a independent course or become a compulsory subject in secondary school curriculum. The teacher of reading education must become the teacher librarian who has a firm faith and an intellectual accomplishment. But, teacher-librarian has much disadvantages such as the problems of promotion, the division of qualification between elementary school and secondary school, and a short-term training courses for teacher-librarian. Hence, theses problems music be solved in national administrative level. Recommended reading lists must be provided to the student in order to prevent confusion of the sense of value, to estimate their own reading ability by themselves and to establish life long reading plan. Therefore, both Korean Library Association and the Ministry of Education should re-examine and develop recommended reading lists. Finally, problems of a juvenile delinquency in the post industrial society have to be solved through reading education. To solve the juvenile delinquency problems, adolescents should cultivate their moral character and possesses abundant knowledge through reading education. Then, young adults will grow as sound citizen in the society.

학교도서관이 상황이 열악하다보니 학교도서관의 운영이나 독서교육과 관련하여 지역의 공공도서관에 도움을 청하는 학교가 적지 않다. 그러나 공공도서관이 처한 여러 가지 현안을 해결해 나가는 데에도 벅찬 실정에서 학교도서관 지원에 관한 업무까지 해나가야 한다는 사실에 공공도서관에서는 적지 않은 부담을 느끼고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 부산시에서는 지역대표도서관인 부산시립시민도서관과 대학의 문헌정보학과, 그리고 지역교육청이 공동으로 참여하여 '학교도서관을 활용한 독서 멘토링 활동'을 시범적으로 전개해 보았다. 이 연구는 지난 7개월 간의 경험을 토대로 학교도서관의 독서교육을 활성화하기 위한 방안으로서 독서 멘토링 활동의 효과에 대해 고찰하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

전통적으로 정보전문가의 역할이었던 메타데이터 생성은 인터넷이 대중화되고 인터넷상의 정보가 폭증하면서 그 한계에 부딪치게 되었다. 이에 오늘날 정보자료의 가치는 그것을 사용하는 이용자에 달려있다는 인식하에 정보이용자가 메타데이터를 만드는 새로운 정보조직 패러다임이 부상하게 되었다. 본고에서는 이용자 생성 메타데이터에 해당하는 이용자 주석과 이용자 태깅의 개념과 구현사례를 살펴보았다. 그리고 이용자 생성 메타데이터가 디지털도서관 발전에 미치는 영향과 시사점을 논의하였다.

Webometric research in the Russian library sector is just beginning to gain momentum. This article examines the experience of webometric research in libraries from the perspective of the global practice. In particular, it highlights a number of foreign works, which may have a special practical value for Russian libraries, and emphasizes important webometrics areas for libraries. The purpose of this study is to research the practical application of key performance indicators (KPIs) abroad and conduct a webometric analysis of the websites of some leading Siberian and Far Eastern scientific libraries based on selected KPIs. The study data were collected with SimilarWeb and other analytical tools. The study revealed that key traffic metrics are the basis of webometric research, and identified available promising groundwork for the purpose of their further testing. The shortcomings in the current state of the websites of the Siberian and Far Eastern scientific libraries were noted. Based on the obtained webometric traffic indicators, the ranking of the Siberian and Far Eastern scientific libraries was made.

이 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관이 구축 운영하는 웹 아카이브인 OASIS 콘텐츠의 특성과 문제점을 살펴보았다. 2011년 5월 20일부터 6월 10일 사이 OASIS 웹사이트를 통해 제공되는 주제별 디렉토리에서 철학, 종교 등 5개 주제와 사회과학과 기술과학 소주제의 수집 웹사이트 55종 및 '최신 자료'와 '많이 본 자료' 리스트를 분석하였다. OASIS는 수집 콘텐츠의 주제 분포의 편중, 웹사이트 저작자/발행자 권위 및 학술적 가치의 근거 미약, 아카이빙 대상의 정의 부적합, 수집 및 이용 통계 처리의 모호성 등 문제점이 나타났고, 이에 대한 포괄적이며 체계적인 개선책 마련이 시급한 상황이다.

Single-chain variable fragments of antibodies (scFv) specific to 2,4-dinitrotoluene (DNT) were isolated from a phage library displaying synthetic human scFv fragments with 6 diversified complementary determining regions (CDRs). A DNT derivative that contained an extended amine group was synthesized and conjugated to the NHS-group that was linked to magnetic beads. Phages specific to the immobilized DNT derivatives were isolated from the library after 4 rounds of sequential binding and elution processes. The displayed scFv fragments from the isolated phages showed consensus CDR sequences. One DNT-specific scFv was expressed in E. coli and purified using Ni-affinity chromatography. The purified DNT-specific scFv binds specifically to the immobilized DNT-derivative with $K_D$ value of $6.0{\times}10^{-7}$ M. The scFv and DNT interaction was not disrupted by the addition of 4-nitrotoluene or benzoic acid. These data demonstrate that the screened scFv from the phage displayed library could be used for selective and sensitive detection of explosives such as TNT.
