The learning, which is a view extended from and replaces the concept of continuous improvement, has become the very core concept in Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The most potent one among 11 core values in MBNQA Model is 'organizational and personal learning'. Learning also plays a critical role to get the good scores for 6 categories except results category among 7 categories of MBNQA Model. But the concept of learning often has been overlooked by the people who are interested in the MB award or TQM. This paper reviews and analyzes the concept of learning in the MB criteria since it first appears in 1993 to enlighten the importance of learning.

Organizational learning of construction team has been long addressed in the literatures, but the mechanism of learning and the influence of leader in the team still remain vague. This paper presents a computational model (OLT) depicting the mechanism and the influence of leader in a systemic way. The OLT model is a multi-agent system based on some eloquent propositions proposed in previous researches. The proposed model is preliminarily validated by some toy-problem simulations. In the OLT model, the leader is assigned as a project manager. The results show that a proper leader can effectively improve the learning process and the result-in performance, in which the team learning is mainly affected by both the leader and the majority in a team. Based on our findings, two propositions are concluded accordingly: (1) Learning of a team would be enhanced if a proper leader is assigned; (2) The effectiveness of learning would increase in a team, in which the members retain explorative attitudes.

The purpose of this research is to propose a novel social LMS developed for group collaborative learning with a think-aloud tool integrated for sharing cognitive processes in order to improve group collaborative learning performance. In this developmental research, the system was designed with three critical elements: the think-aloud element supports learners through shared cognition, the social network element improves the quality of collaborative learning by forming a structured social environment, and the learning management element provides a understructure for collaborative learning for student groups. Moreover, the three critical elements were combined in an educational context and applied in three directions.

Even though the distance education via web has a great advantage to overcome time and space, its problem is that the management of trainees is not efficient compared with classroom and group education. This problem is a great obstacle to the objects and achievement standards of distance education, giving controversial arguments to the advocators of distance education. Distance educators need to monitor the trainees'participation and responses continuously and offer appropriate feedback to the trainees. However, the existing distance education system only focuses on teaching and learning activities, and as a result, the efficient management function of distance education is not available. Accordingly, the study attempts to find out the appropriate managing elements of distance teacher training in order to effectively achieve the goals of teacher training and the efficient management of distance education. Also, it proposes distance teacher training management system that offers appropriate feedback to trainees, applying the derived elements of distance teacher training to the training processes. To verify the efficiency of the system, hypotheses on related items of distance teacher education and learning types are suggested, and the achievement degree of learning and its relations are investigated through questionnaire of learning types. In addition, a system using UML which is the standard of object-oriented modeling language is devised, so. that mutual management, language independence and convenient development environment as well as reusability can be offered, and so the design standardization and efficient system realization could be achieved, while flexible change of system according to education process and computing environment is possible.

This research examines the effects of organizational learning and network involvement, as well as many contextual factors, on power generation businesses' innovation capability and operational success in Vietnam. This research also aims to attest to the moderating roles of top management support and company age, and firm possession type in the power generation industry. This study applied the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and PLS-SEM approach for data analysis. In this research, we have tested hypotheses with data collected from 132 top managers and other key personnel from power generation companies in Vietnam. The results also attest to the moderating role of top management support on the two relationships between organizational learning - innovation capability and network involvement - innovation capability. Another important finding is that the company age has a negative impact on operational performance but shows a positive moderating role in the relationship between innovation capability and operational performance. This study highlights the central roles of organizational learning and innovation capability in impacting the organizational performance of power generation companies. These companies play a key role in supporting the development of industries in practice. This research also emphasizes the moderating roles of top management support and company age and possession type in practice.

웹기반의 LCMS(Learning Content Management System)는 단지 학습 콘텐츠를 LMS(Learning Management System)에 제공하기 위하여 검증이 되지 않은 다양한 학습 콘텐츠를 탑재하는 시스템으로 구성되어 있어 학습자의 요구와 수준에 맞는 콘텐츠의 제공이 제대로 이뤄지지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LMS와 LCMS를 연계한 학습이력정보와 학습 콘텐츠의 정보 관리를 함으로써 학습콘텐츠의 질적 향상과 학습자가 선호하는 콘텐츠의 정보를 통계적으로 보여주고 또 분석이 가능하게 함으로써, 학습자에게 보다 향상된 콘텐츠를 제공해 주기위한 학습콘텐츠관리시스템인 LCIMS(Learning Content Information Management System)를 설계하고 구현한다. 제시된 LCIMS는 기존의 LCMS에 학습 콘텐츠를 패키지 또는 SCO 단위로 등록하여 콘텐츠 저장소 (메타데이터 및 콘텐츠 파일)에서 체계적으로 저장 및 관리하는 역할을 추가를 하고 학습자별로 LCIMS의 학습콘텐츠 정보를 수준별, 과정별로 평가, 검색하여 LMS를 통해 학습 할 수 있도록 하는 검색 및 강좌 구성에 활용하며 학습자의 학습정보관리와 학습콘텐츠 정보의 관리를 체계적으로 할 수 있다.

본 연구는 무리행동과 인지적 유용성을 중심으로, e-learning 컨텐츠 구매에 미치는 영향을 e-learning 수강경험자 집단과 경험하지 못한 잠재구매자 집단의 차이점을 경험적인 측면에서 밝히고자 시도하였다. 전체 528명의 표본을 경험자(395명)와 비경험자(133명)로 나누어 PLS(Partial Least Square)를 통하여 분석한 결과 e-learning 구매 경험자는 인지적 유용성이 구매의도에 주는 영향이 무리행동의 영향보다 큰 것으로 나타났고, 잠재 구매자는 무리행동이 구매의도에 주는 영향이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Solar PV(photovoltaic) is paid great attention to as a possible renewable energy source to overcome recent global energy crisis. However to be a viable alternative energy source compared with fossil fuel, its market competitiveness should be attained. Grid parity is one of effective measure of market competitiveness of renewable energy. In this paper, we forecast the grid parity timing of solar PV energy in Korea using two factor learning curve model. Two factors considered in the present model are production capacity and technological improvement. As a result, it is forecasted that the grid parity will be achieved in 2019 in Korea.

In this article, we develop a 'dynamic' approach to manufacturing improvement, based on perspectives of manufacturing learning and decision theory. First, we present an alternative definition of production system consistent with a decision-theoretic perspective: the system consists of structural, infra-structural, and decision making constructs. A primary proposition is that learning capability possessed by a manufacturing system be prerequisite for the system to improve its manufacturing performance through optimal controlling of the three constructs. To support the proposition, we elaborate on a mathematical representation of "learning" as defined in an applied setting. We show how the learning capability acts as an integrating force ameliorating the trade-off between two key manufacturing capabilities, i.e., process controllability and process flexibility.exibility.

Purpose - This paper's goal is to assess and promote several good teaching product designs and several learning environments. The paper discusses research product design learning and management. Research design, data, and methodology - As part of information science and technology, a school uses several teaching networks for auxiliary teaching, taking several designs as the teaching foundation, and creating multimedia curricula. Results - The results indicate that in the best learning designs and environments, the learner can maintain a high interest, which not only attracts all levels in the schools, but also has a pivotal influence on teaching around the world. The research study answers the question, was the atmosphere already luxurious? Conclusions - This study introduces several methodologies that are widely used for experimental processes. Using multi-criterion decision-making technology in studies of language product evaluation systems, the language teaching quality and space design is developed, and the language classroom learning system, the machine operation, the classroom environment design method, etc., conform to specifics of the study, the best choices, the most effective utilization, and are the most efficient.
