Objective: This study ascertained effects of roughage quality, period of day at meal termination and time lapse after feeding on digesta load in the rumen. Methods: Veld hay was untreated (poor roughage quality, PRQ), improved (improved roughage quality, IRQ) by treating with urea or semi-improved by spraying with urea (semi-improved roughage quality, SIRQ). Experiment 1a used four rumen fistulated sheep to determine in-sacco degradability. Twelve sheep ($56.3{\pm}4.59kg$) were blocked by weight and randomly allocated to IRQ (n = 6) and PRQ (n = 6) to determine solid and liquid passage rates. In experiment 1b, nine sheep ($37.6{\pm}9.34kg$) were blocked by weight and randomly allocated to IRQ (n = 4) and PRQ (n = 5) to determine digestibility. Sixteen sheep ($36.47{\pm}9.46kg$) were blocked by body weight and randomly allocated to IRQ (n = 8) and PRQ (n = 8). Two sheep were slaughtered for each sampling time in each treatment (IRQ and PRQ) at 0, 6, 12, and 24 h after feeding to determine rumen load. In experiment 2, eighteen goats ($25.4{\pm}9.08kg$) were blocked by weight and randomly allocated to IRQ (n = 6), SIRQ (n = 6), and PRQ (n = 6). Then all 18 goats were slaughtered soon after meal termination in the morning; afternoon and evening to determine the effect of period of day on rumen fill. Results: Rate of degradation and effective degradability were enhanced by improvement of roughage quality. Roughage quality had no effect on digestibility, but digestibility was higher in goats than sheep. Fractional passage rate of particles was higher for IRQ than PRQ, but similar for liquids. Digesta fractional clearance rates at 24 h after feeding were 0.018/h (IRQ) and 0.006/h (PRQ). Period of day had an influence on rumen load. Neutral detergent fibre load for goats were above 2.03 kg/100 kg body weight for all diet treatments. Conclusion: Following starvation, passage rate had negligible effects on emptying of rumen load.
To investigate the seasonal changes of various organic and inorganic compounds in compost, carbon compounds in compost were analyzed at various composting periods. Contents of organic matter, cellulose, total carbon, organic carbon and biodegradable carbon in compost were decreased with the progress of composting. In contrast, contents of lignin and nonbiodegradable carbon were increased a little with the progress of composting, but effective contents of lignin were decreased with the lapse of composting time, while effective contents of nonbiodegradable carbon were not changed. Total carbon contents in organic matter in compost were decreased within 9 weeks after composting, and then increased thereafter. Difference between average values of total and biodegradable carbon contents was 6.2%. Actual decay rates of all the carbon compounds were higher than decay rates of the compounds at all the experimental periods. Both of actual decay rate and decay rate of all the carbon compounds were increased rapidly within 2 weeks after composting, and thereafter the rates were increased slightly with the lapse of composting time. Especially the decay rates of cellulose were increased from 9 to 21 weeks after composting. Actual degradation capacity showed the same tendency to degradation capacity of all the carbon compounds in compost. Decay rate and degradation capacity of lignin in compost had minus values, while actual decay rate and actual degradation capacity had plus values. Highly positive correlations were observed among organic matter, cellulose, total carbon and biodegradable carbon one another. Nonbiodegradable carbon showed highly negative correlation with organic matter, cellulose, total carbon, organic carbon and biodegradable carbon, respectively. The same tendencies were observed between lignin and organic matter, cellulose, total carbon, organic carbon and biodegradable carbon. Highly positive correlation was observed between lignin and nonbiodegradable carbon in compost.
In these days we can often see examples of suicide. Nowaday suicide becomes a serious social problem in Korean society. The number of suicides increased continuously from 3,157 in 1990 to 10,688 in 2006. The suicide rate per 100,000 person increased progressively from 9.1 in 1991 to 26.1 in 2005 and hit the highest level in 2005. In 2006, The suicide rate decreased after the lapse of 6 years. However, It is still high actual condition with 23.0.
Purpose: The aim of this study is that we evaluate the change of the White Blood Cell(WBC) count, Absolute Neutrophil Count (ANC), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) and C-reactive Protein (CRP) values, and try to make standardization for postoperative sequels before and after the oral cancer resection and reconstructive surgery. Materials and Methods: The study was comprised of 34 patients (male 15, female 19) who were diagnosed as an oral cancer and had performed ablation and reconstructive surgery at Dankook university dental hos-pital. Each blood specimen was collected from patients and estimated WBC count, Neutrophil count, ESR, CRP on first, third, fifth, seventh day efore and after surgery and analyzing inter relationship between each value. Classifying Group I (resection with reconstructive surgery patients) and Group II (resection without reconstructive surgery patients). Also classifying group A (below 4 hours of operation time), Group B (4 to 8 hours of operation time), Group C (above 8 hours of operation time), each group was analyzed and compared. The Following results were induced. Results: (1) In coefficient of correlation, the CRP and WBC has highest value except WBC count and Neutrophil count. (2) There was no significant difference any lapse in the progress between Group I and II of WBC count, Neutrophil count, but the CRP shows statistically higher level in group I than group II at immediate postoperative day, and 1 to 5 days after surgery. (3) There is no significant difference any lapse in the progress between Group A, B, C of WBC count, Neutrophil count, but CRP shows statistically significant difference in 1 day, 3 days after surgery Conclusion: It should be suggested that, determination of CRP is most valuable parameter for postopera-tive management and determination of postoperative clinical changes than other parameter such as WBC count, neutrophil count, and ESR values in oral cancer patient after resection and reconstructive surgery, based on the results of this study.
When scouring and contraction finishing at $90^{\circ}C$ using Relaxer or Rotary Washer contraction and weight loss ratio in warp and weft directions were excellent. Also surface state of fabric after drying or sanding treatment was excellent without crease. Low melting polyester fabric showed a complete melting bond by heat setting(P/S) at above $160^{\circ}C$. The alkali hydrolysis reaction of polyester showed the breakpoint in the weight loss behavior test, polyester yarn showed a breakpoint ranging from 25% to 28%. This is due to the difference of the hydrolysis rate between regular polyester and soluble polyester. Initially the soluble polyester was eluted and micro-fibrillized 5 times faster than a regular polyester. At a later time, a regular polyester was reduced weight to impart a proper flexibility and drape property to the fabric. As a result of surface sanding finishing, the surface of interior fabric showed a surface state most stabilized when using Mesh No. 220 in mono 0.2d after elution finishing. When the rotation direction of sanding roller was pro-, pro-, pro-, and retro-direction, a directional effect of tuft was not shown, a writing effect as suede was exhibited and a surface state was even. Sublimation fastness was 3-4 class for polyester and 2-4 class for nylon. Light fastness 3-4 class after lapse of 100 hours and 2-4 class after lapse of 160 hours. Abrasion fastness was 3-4 class on wet and 4-5 class on dry Laundry fastness was 2-4 class. As such, the abrasion fastness is slightly reduced upon wetting and the use thereof for interior is excellent, whereas laundry fastness is slightly lowered.
Global natural vegetation mapping (GNVM) system was developed for estimating potential forest area of the globe. With input of monthly mean temperature and monthly precipitation observed at weather stations, the system spherically interpolates them into 1°×1°grid points on a blobe, converts them into vegetation types, and produces a potential vegetation map and a potenital vegetation area. The spherical interpolation was based on negative exponential function fed from the constant radius stations with oval weighing method which is latitudinally elongated weighing in temperature and longitudinally elongated weighing in precipitation. The temperature values were corrected for altitude by applying a linear lapse-rate (0.65℃ / 100m) with reference to a built-in digital terrain map of the globe. The vegetation classification was based upon Koppen’s sKDICe. The potential forest area is estimated for 6.96 Gha (46.24%) of the global land area (15.05 Gha).

This papered is concerned with the crashworthiness characteristics analysis of the non-step bus when it is crashed or roll-over analysis. Computer simulations is implemented using LS-Dyna explicit code which can effectively analysis dynamic response with the lapse of time. We construct a FEM model of the non-step bus under development according to the safety rules used in Europe for composite non-step buses. The crash energy and absorption rate are evaluated to understand crashworthiness characteristic of the composite non-step bus. Body deformation is also examined whether the survival space is secured for passengers.
Human error analysis has been performed to prevent accidents and reduce human error rate in diverse contexts; manufacturing, aircraft and nuclear power plants. Until now, human error in our everyday lives has not been focused. This paper addressed human error when users go up and down elevator. First of all, human error types of elevator users were categorized by a taxonomy of unsafe acts. It was also investigated which types of human error occurred in the elevator. Finally display design guidelines were suggested to reduce human error in elevator. Auditorial display and visual display can be used to reduce human errors in elevator. Future study should be performed to check if the proposed design guidelines are effective in the real situations.
We present here the future changes in vertical distribution of temperature and tropopause height using the HadGEM2-AO climate model forced with Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) scenarios. Projected changes during the 21st century are shown as differences from the baseline period (1971~2000) for global vertical distribution of temperature and tropopause height. All RCP scenarios show warming throughout the troposphere and cooling in the stratosphere with amplified warming over the lower troposphere in the Northern Hemisphere high latitudes. Upper troposphere warming reaches a maximum in the tropics at the 300 hPa level associated with lapse-rate feedback. Also, the cooling in the stratosphere and the warming in the troposphere raises the height of the tropopause.

This paper describes a effective information compressor algorithm for the fourth industrial technology. One of the difficult problems for outdoor is to obtain effective updating process of background images. Because input images generally contain the shadows of buildings, trees, moving clouds and other objects, they are changed by lapse of time and variation of illumination. They provide the lowering of performance for surveillance system under outdoor. In this paper, a effective information algorithm for variable environment variable under outdoor is proposed, which apply the Kalman Estimation Modeling and adaptive threshold on pixel level to separate foreground and background images from current input image. In results, the better SNR of about 3dB~5dB and about 10%~25% noise distribution rate in the proposed method. Furthermore, it was showed that the moving objects can be detected on various shadows under outdoor and better result Information.
