교량용 탄성받침의 설계압축응력에 대한 고찰 (The Design Criteria of Elastomeric Bearing for Highway Bridges)

  • Elastomeric bearing is used as one of the most useful way for isolation structures, because the horizontal stiffness is much lower than the vertical stiffness. The quality of Elastomeric bearing depends on the vulcanization procedure to manufacture, which produces the elasticity of the rubber from the compound of rubber and sulphur. The durability of Elastomeric bearing is affected by the deterioration due to ozone and ultra-violet attack. but the durability during the design life of bridges can be assured by the sufficient size of the bearing in spite of the deterioration in surface. In the design criteria of Elastomeric bearing, the stability of the bearings is evaluated by shear strain due to compression, lateral displacement, and rotation. The question how soft rubber can sustain heavy structure is now able to be solved by Ultimate capacity test of Laminated elastomeric Bearings, which results 1,200kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ of the max. compressive stress and this shows what a sufficient safety factor Elastomeric bearing has!

  • Recently, the high precision technology can not be developed continuously if we don't have anti vibration technology. Vibration isolation technology using an air spring and laminated robber bearing is widely used because it has excellent vibration isolation characteristics. We developed high precision vibration table with two good element(air spring and LRB) for semiconductor factory. Air Spring is used for isolating the vertical vibration and LRB is used for isolating the horizontal Vibration. As a result, It has D-Class degree in BBR-Criteria. In this paper, we talk about orifice characteristics in the self-damped air spring and design flow of the laminated robber bearing. The orifice characteristics is delicate shade of length and diameter. When we do experimentation to find orifice characteristics, length is fixed and diameter is changed. The orifice diameter is the wider and the air spring stiffness is the softer.

적층고무받침이 설치된 단층 래티스 돔의 동적 거동 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Dynamic Behavior of Single Layer Latticed Domes with Laminated Rubber Bearing)

  • This paper presents the studies of the characteristics of dynamic behavior of single layer latticed domes with laminated rubber bearing and establishes the effectiveness of the system. The base isolation system installed between base and structures reduces the responses due to earthquake motions and increases the natural period of structures. Numerical analysis is carried out using modal superposition method and Newmark-βmethod which is linear acceleration method with (equation omitted) : 1/2 and β : 1/6. The time interval Δt for response calculation is 0.001 sec. Damping ratio is 2 % as Rayleigh damping and El Centro NS(1940) as earthquake motion is the input excitation data. The acceleration response of dome with base isolation is reduced to 30 % of the response of non-isolation system. From the results of the numerical studies on the models, it is confirmed that base isolation system effectively suppresses the responses of the domes subjected to horizontal earthquakes.

  • 격리장치로서 적층고무받침의 동적 특성은 고무 열 노화로 인한 미세 구조의 변화로 인해 악화 될 수 있다. 그 결과, 예기치 못한 지진의 발생으로 교량이나 건물들은 치명적이 손상을 입게 된다. 여기서, 적층 고무받침의 동적특성은 압축-전단하중 및 반복하중, 극한파괴시험은 열 노화 전 후에 시험하여 상호 비교하였다. 실험 결과, 적층고무받침에서의 열 노화 현상은 전단강성과 에너지의 감쇠 그리고 등가감소계수에 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이것은 적층고무받침의 열 노화에 의한 동적특성의 저하를 의미하고, 적층고무받침 설계시 고려해야할 필요가 있다고 판단된다.

  • A lot of rotating machines are being used in the industrial world and electric motor and generator take the most part of it. When it comes to the electric motor and generator, we can not help thinking about the eddy current because it brings a loss of electric and can be a important reason of the heat generation. To attenuate eddy current. laminated silicon steel sheets are being used in general. Especially, laminated rotor is being used for rotating part of the electric motor and generator and it decreases electrical loss and heat generation but we can be faced with another problem. In general, most of the motor and generator can be normally operated under 3600rpm because they are designed to have the first critical speed more than that speed. But nowadays, they should be operated more than the first critical speed as usual with the trend of high speed. large scale and high precision in industrial world. The critical speed can be determined from the inertia and stiffness for the rotor and bearing of rotating systems. The laminated rotor stiffness can be hardly determined because it can be derived a lot factors for instance rotor material and shape. lamination material and shape. insulation material. lamination force and so on. In this paper, the change of the natural frequency of the motor was examined with the change of the lamination force as an experimental method.

  • The support bearing requires high DN to raise specific energy efficiency for the state of the art rotating machine with high speed. Especially for the system has a big rotor(670 kgf) with high speed(about one million DNs) such as the pulsed generator, the selection of the bearing and lubrication method are very important. So the study for the critical speed of hollow rotor as well in accordance with high speed rotor and a full analysis are needed for rotor bearing system. This paper describes the analysis for rotor bearing system of pulsed generator compared with experimental data. The bearing and lubrication method are discussed as well with experimental data.

  • In this work, a hybrid composite proceeding bearing (HCJB) composed of carbon/phenolic laminated composite bush and steel housing was designed for marine vessels because the composite proceeding bearing reduces the possibility of the seizure problem between the proceeding and bearing. The two components of bearing were assembled by interference fit joining method and a series of durability tests were conducted using the laboratory bench with the lubricants of SAE 30 oil, water, and sea water. That the HCJB was found reliable under the interference fitting loads and environmental temperature change.

  • The shear modulus of 3-bar lap rubber shear dynamic test specimen is investigated through incremented shear strain tests. The shear force-strain relation of rubber specimen is also calculated by ABAQUS using hyper-elastic material properties of high damping rubber. The analysis results are compatible with shear dynamic tests of 3-bar lap rubber specimen and 1/8 reduced-scale laminated rubber bearing

고철질-초고철질 마천관입암의 층상구조 개관 (The Overview of Layered structures in Mafic - Ultramafic Macheon Intrusion)

  • 영남(소백산)육괴의 남서부인 지리산지역의 북서부에 선캠브리아 편마암 복합체를 트라이아스기(약 223 Ma)에 관입한 마천층상관입암은 크게 층상계열과 엽상계열의 두 그룹으로 구분되는 고철질-초고철질 암석들로 구성되어 있으며, 마그마혼합의 특성을 잘 보이는 암맥상의 고철질 암이 수반된다. 층상계열은 누적조직의 특성과 주구성 유색광물의 종류에 의해 중앙부의 감람석 반려암대(하부대)와 주변부의 각섬석 반려암대(중 내지 상부대피 두 부분으로 다시 세분된다. 중앙부의 감람석 반려암은 비교적 얇은 우흑질과 우백질의 층들이 규칙적으로 교호된 중립질 반려암질 암과 균질하고 두꺼운 층상구조를 이룬 조립질 반려암질 암들이 서로 협재되어 있으며, 주구성 암종은 우흑질 반려암, 트록토라이트, 우백질 트록토라이트, 사장암질암 등으로 감람석과 사장석이 주구성 광물이다. 엽상계열은 함석영 흑운모휘석 반려암과 보다 분화된 특성의 각섬석 섬록암으로 분류되며 간극상로 산출되는 소량의 석영과 미사장석을 포함하고 있다 주변의 선캠브리아 편마암류와의 접촉대에 냉각대가 발달되어 있어 심부에서 보다 분화된 동원성 마그마가 어느 정도 시간적인 간격을 갖고 좀 더 냉각된 환경에서 관입한 것으로 보인다. 층상계열에 발달된 층상구조는 감람석은 주로 정누적구조 내지 부가누적구조, 사장석은 부가누적 내지 간극누적구조를 보이며, 단사휘석과 각섬석은 간극누적 내지 이형부가누적조직을 이루고 있다. 층상암들에서 마그마작용동안 생성된 습곡구조, 점이층리, 사층리 등이 드물지 않게 산출된다. 마천층상관입암체에 발달된 층상구조와 엽상구조가 주로 중력침전과 제자리 결정작용에 의해 생성되었으며 슬럼핑과 밀도류 흐름작용도 상당한 역할을 하였을 것으로 해석된다.

Generally motor and generator have electrical loss because of eddy current. So silicon steel sheets are used in order to reduce the electrical loss and furthermore laminated rotor is used for motor and generator to eliminate the electrical loss and heat generation.
