One hundred and fifty school nutrition teachers were surveyed and 128 answered(85.3%). Data were analyzed by frequency(%), $x^2$-test, and pearson's correlation analyses. Nutrition teachers in elementary schools conducted nutrition counseling more than those in middle schools. In descending order, the reasons for not conducting nutrition education were lack of time, inadequate system for the nutrition counseling, lack of curriculum and lack of facilities. Respondents thought that reduced workload was important to conduct nutrition counseling. However, nutrition counseling should be actively utilized as teachers showed high satisfaction. • Vietnam is gaining much attention as an attractive emerging market that can replace BRICs for the corporations who are destined to always look for a new market in order to secure competitive powers in the global market. The reason for Vietnam's becoming an attractive place for production is that much uncertainty has been found in China, which has been the traditional country that absorbed the most amount of capital investment. Also, the favorable conditions of Vietnam market itself and the environmental changes such as the open-door policy of Vietnam government attract the investment of Korean companies, and Korea currently holds the most amount of cumulative investments in Vietnam. However, it is necessary to remember that Vietnam is still a socialist nation, and many required components for corporate activities are not sufficiently provided in Vietnam market. Also, many unstable environmental factors exist such as the lack of infrastructure, the lack of many required institutions, the prevalent corruption, the excessive processing time and cost for adjusting the investment, the lack of advanced work force, and the underdevelopment of part and material industry. Therefore, those companies who are planning to invest in Vietnam should take a long-term perspective in planning the investment strategies, carry out a detailed market investigation and analysis in advance, diversify the investment areas and investment sectors, carefully make a joint venture and management, carefully determine the factory location, establish a local agency, make co-investments with the part suppliers, etc.

  • When rotating the clutch drum in the power take-off (PTO) gear box of an armored recovery vehicle, lots of inner oil is drained through the adapter by centrifugal force. Therefore, a lack of lubrication is caused by inner oil loss, and the bearing is damaged by overheating. This study, therefore, aims to design an oil-controlling adapter by using shape alteration to prevent oil loss. Both the original and improved adapters were tested at 1,800rpm by using an operational test machine. When applying the original adapter to the gear box, the bearing was damaged by overheating, which was caused by the lack of lubrication. When applying the improved oil-controlling adapter, on the other hand, it prevented the loss of inner oil. Applying the improved adapter is expected to prevent the overheating caused by lack of lubrication.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore how public health nurses (PHNs) perceive their roles and duties (R&D), as well as to investigate the change of their R&D, how they manage and solve problems. Methods: The data were collected through focus group interviews. Data were analyzed using Morgan (1998) and Krueger (1998)'s four step analysis. A total of 17 experienced PHNs participated in this study. Results: The results found 5 themes and 19 sub-themes: R&D of health managers and health service providers, factors affecting the changes of PHN's R&D, R&D in adjusting with trends and expanding work field (R&D being reduced, increasing R&D, need to expand R&D), problem with the structure and quality of workforce (lack of nurse manpower, lack of promotion opportunities, increasing non-regular workers, lack of refinement as an expert), and strategies for solving personnel issues (strengthening the job capacity, cultivating professional refinement, strengthening outside activities and political activities, strengthening the roles of PHN-related associations and academy, engagement policy of non-regular workers, expansion of the activity area) Conclusion: PHNs need to recognize their changing R&D and ways they manage and solve problems to enhance their professionalism.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between perceived parenting behaviors and dispositional gratitude of adolescent children in Korea. Participants consisted of 403 high school students from the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. Dispositional gratitude of adolescents and parenting behaviors (including respect, lessons, attention, and lack of trust) were reported by adolescents. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regression analyses. The results were as follows. First, the average levels of parental lack of trust and maternal attention were different as a function of gender. Second, girls showed higher levels of dispositional gratitude than boys. Third, greater parental respect, lessons, and attention were linked to higher levels of dispositional gratitude of adolescent children; whereas lack of trust was linked to lower levels of dispositional gratitude. Fourth, paternal lessons was the most meaningful factor in explaining the level of dispositional gratitude in boys while maternal attention was the most meaningful factor in girls. These results suggest that parents play an important role in the development of dispositional gratitude in adolescents. Differential parental roles were discussed to promote the level of dispositional gratitude for adolescents.

  • This study analyzed the evaluations of instructors and experts on flipped learning-based engineering in order to suggest improvement strategies. This study was conducted with 8 engineering courses which participated in the flipped learning course development project of C university from 2017-2018. As a result of the analysis, the instructors and experts pointed out that the pre-learning was not performed and checked effectively. In this regard, the instructors suggested the students' burden of pre-learning, the lack of understanding about flipped learning, and the experts suggested the lack of instructional strategies to facilitate pre-learning. In addition, the instructors and the experts pointed out that the courses were still instructor-centered. The instructors evaluated that they operated the instructor-led course by themselves. In addition, the experts suggested that there was not enough instructional strategies to activate the learner-centered activities. The number of the students and the lecture room environment that were not appropriate for the learner- centered class were the evaluation opinions of both the instructors and the experts. In addition, the professor suggested the lack of understanding and preparation of the flipped learning of the instructors and the learner as the main opinion, and the experts pointed out that the online learning system and classroom was not linked for pre-learning, classroom learning, and the post-learning. Based on these results, suggestions for improvement of flip learning based engineering course were suggested.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to obtain the basic data for the development of maternal health care by analyzing the status and needs of service target persons in Timor-Leste. Methods: The subjects were selected through the non-probability sampling method applying the FGI. Researchers interviewed 3 maternal health service managers, 6 midwives at Gleno and Railaco Health Centers and 2 women between 15 and 45 years of age. Results: In the results of on-site visit of the delivery facility and the FGI, we found poor sanitation in delivery room, lack of medical equipment related to antenatal consultation and delivery. In the case of the health center manager, the public health center provides various maternity health services, but the lack of the staff has difficulty in providing the service and managing the subjects. Midwives asked for regular maintenance education. Women in child bearing age living in mountainous areas had poor access to delivery facilities and lack of awareness of delivery services. Conclusions: It is necessary to increase the maternity management rate through regular maternity and maternal health check service and application to maternal management database, to improve the sanitation of the maternity clinic in the public health center, to strengthen the midwife competency program.
