한국형 CMMS 개발 및 관리시스템의 VV&A 프로세스 설계 (The VV&A Process Design for CMMS in consideration of Korean mission space characteristics)

  • 임무공간개념모델(CMMS, Conceptual Model of the Mission Spaces)은 실 군사 세계의 임무 수행과 관련한 전투요소 객체와 행위, 객체간의 상호 작용을 개념적 차원에서 나타낸 지식(임무영역) 참조모델로, 국방 M&S 시스템의 개발 및 상호 운용성, 재사용성을 제고시키는데 있어 기본이 되는 모델이다. CMMS의 완전성은 이에 기반을 둔 모든 M&S 체계의 품질을 보장함에 있어 중요한 요소인데, 이의 완성도를 높이기 위한 검증, 확인 및 인정(VV&A, Verification, Validation and Accreditation)과정은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 현재 국내에서 연구 진행 중인 한국형 CMMS에 대하여 소개하고 CMMS의 개발 및 관리시스템의 신뢰성을 보장할 수 있는 CMMS VV&A 적용 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

퓨전 한식 레스토랑에 나타난 실내공간과 음식관련요소의 표현특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Expression Characteristics of Indoor Spaces and Food related Elements in Fusion Korean Restaurants)

  • In this age of information ruled by new technologies and knowledge, the world is interconnected as a single community, and within this trend of globalization, new cultural codes are emerging through temporal fusion between the past and the present and spatial fusion between different regions and countries. In this situation, it seems meaningful to review Korean fusion foods and restaurants serving such foods, as well as to consider their future directions. Thus, the objective of the present study was to survey and analyze Korean fusion restaurants representing Korean culture not only in Korea, but also in foreign cities, and to identify the expression characteristics of such restaurants. Based on restaurants recommended in relevant magazines and on Internet sites, 18 spaces were selected, visited, and surveyed, in which tradition and modernism were well-mixed. Data on the shapes, materials, colors, and patterns of spatial elements and food-related elements, including photographs, were collected and analyzed. The results are as follows. Of the 18 restaurants, 13 (72%) showed temporal fusion in both spatial and food-related elements, 4 showed temporal fusion in spatial elements and cultural fusion in food-related elements, and 1 showed cultural fusion in both spatial and food-related elements. In general, the spaces were mainly designed with modern elements and partially with traditional elements (ceilings, windows, furniture, articles), and the fusion of food-related elements was made in diverse forms that included temporal fusion restructuring traditional menus contemporarily, and cultural fusion harmonizing traditional food with Western cookery.

지식정보의 형태적 진화와 도서관 서가의 변천에 관한 연구 - 20세기이전의 서양도서관사를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Changes of the Library's Bookshelves by the Morphological Evolution of Knowledge-Information - Focus on the History of Western Libraries before the 20th Century -)

  • This study intends to understand the change of the library's bookshelves shape, composition and arrangement based on the social-culture in each period. For this purpose, this study analyzes the morphological shift of the library's bookshelves and knowledge information focused on the history of western libraries from the ancient libraries to the modern public libraries before the 20th century. And the results are follows. 1) We can make sure that the changes of the library's bookshelves are based on the environmental factors like social cultural political factors and also understand that the knowledge information are developed based on the function which is decided by the needs of the times and the serious necessities of users. With this reason, the morphology and the function of the library's bookshelves have been changed. 2) The characters and meanings of the library's bookshelves are changed with the times from movable type to fixed type, from closing type to opening type, from privileged use to public use, from religious contents to general scientific contents. 3) The morphology of the library's bookshelves are shifted from cylindrical box to Chest type Press type and Lectern system, Stall system, Wall system and advanced to Mixed(Stall+Wall) system. 4) The construction and arrangement methods of the library's bookshelves are determined by the convenience and efficiency of the installation for the perusal environments as well as the regarding to the social-cultural factors. The arrangement criteria are determined by the security topics in the earlier stage, after that determined by the lightening topics and nowadays the access topics to the information. These analysis results are very useful to research the technology of the library's bookshelves to be changed continuously and also to forecast the morphology of the library's bookshelves can be planned in the spaces of the future libraries.

Role of the Third Place in Building Communities and Social Capital : Contributions of Coffee Shops as Third Places in Kuwait

  • Third places are those that offer a space outside of work and home for people to escape the stress associated with the primary spaces of their lives. Through social interactivity these help in acquiring some emotional support provided by a close and intimate attachment. Such social support can turn into social resources for individuals and can lead to forming communities that may become incubators for social capital through regular visits to shared socializing places. This paper focuses on social interaction that takes place through the third place and the communities that are being created as a contributing factor to knowledge management. The study being reported in this paper investigated the role of coffee shops as third places in building communities and social capital in Kuwait. A mixed-method approach was used to conduct the study. These methods included qualitative methods such as extended conversations in the form of semi-structured interviews and quantitative methods of using questionnaires distributed to coffee shop staff and visitors. Results indicated that importance attached to providing facilities by coffee shops reflected that the owners perceived these as third places. The facilities attracted customers to coffee houses where interactions took place that helped to build communities. The pattern of visits by customers showed that mostly they come in groups and have meetings and gatherings that facilitated and encouraged interactions. The communities that are being built in the coffee shops are indicative of these being perceived as third places by owners, customers, and staff. This study shows the potential of coffee shops as a major sector of the food industry promising a valuable contribution in transformation and transition to a knowl- edge-based economy in Kuwait.

인도네시아 자바사람들의 자무(Jamu) 전통: '돌봄'의 의약과 '평안'한 건강 (Javanese Jamu Tradition: Medicine for Caretaking and the Health Named 'Tentram')

  • 본고는 인도네시아 자바사람들이 전통의약 자무를 왜 활용하는지, 자무 음용의 필요가 문화적으로 구성되는 공간과 과정을 자바사람들의 문화내적 논리에 따라 고찰한 글이다. 이를 위해 자무가 기원하고 작동하는 공간인 자바의 가정과 궁정에 주목하여 이 공간들에서 화목(rukun)과 평안(tentram)이 자무를 통해 매개되고, 우주 공간 내 인간의 도리가 자무 관행을 통해 표현되고 확인되는 모습을 논하였다. 그럼으로써 자무가 자바사람들의 의식과 관념 그리고 지식 및 기술들과 통합된 몸 돌봄의 로컬 지식체계로서 존재하는 것임을 밝혔고, 자바사람들의 자무 활용은 이 로컬의 지식체계 내에서 몸 돌봄 실천을 통해 '평안'이란 이름의 건강을 획득하려는 노력임을 논하였다. 그리고 이렇게 획득된 평안이야말로 복되고 번영된 사회를 건설하기 위한 토대로서 자원적 가치를 갖는 것임을 주장하였다.

Knowledge Distributed Robot Control Framework

  • In this work, we propose a new framework of robot control for a variety of applications to our unstructured everyday environments. Programming robots can be a very time-consuming process and seems almost impossible for ordinary end users. To cope with this, this work is to provide a software framework for building robot application programs automatically, where we have robots learn how to accomplish a commanded task from the object. An integrated sensing and computing tag is embedded into every single object in the environment. In the robot controller, only the basic software libraries for low-level robot motion control are provided from the robot manufacturer. The main contributions of this work is to develop a server platform that we call Omniscient Server that generates the application programs and send them to the robot controller through the network. The object-related information from the object server merges into robot control software to generate a detailed application program based on the task commands from the human. We have built a test bed and demonstrated that a robot can perform a common household task within the proposed framework.

센서 네트워크의 데이터 스트림 마이닝을 위한 온톨로지 기반의 전처리 기법 (Ontology based Preprocessing Scheme for Mining Data Streams from Sensor Networks)

  • 다양한 센서의 개발과 센서 네트워크 구축으로 인해 특정 공간의 환경 데이터를 수집할 수 있다. 보다 유용한 정보 및 지식의 발견을 위하여 데이터 마이닝(Data mining) 기법이 활용되는 연구들이 소개되었다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 데이터 마이닝 기법의 효율성 증대를 위하여 센서 네트워크로부터의 데이터 스트림의 전처리 과정(Preprocessing)을 수행하고자 한다. 제안하는 센서 스트림 데이터의 전처리 과정은 i) 세션확인(Session identification)과 ii) 오류검증(Error detection) 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 특히, 이를 위해 각센서 장비로부터 수집되는 데이터의 의미(Semantics)를 표현하고 있는 온톨로지(Ontology)를 적용한다. 본 연구 결과의 성능 평가를 위하여 센서 네트워크 테스팅 환경을 교내에 설치하였으며 30여일 동안 수집된 데이터를 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 실행하였다.

지역거점으로서의 캠퍼스 외부공간 디자인 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Campus Outdoor Spaces as a Regional Hub)

  • The campus outdoor space in each city is a very important space for students and local residents. Especially, for students, indoor space such as classroom is the main place to learn knowledge. But the outdoor space provides an opportunity to interact with people in other sectors and it also gives an opportunity that can make students sense the flow of the times. Moreover, students have the opportunity to integrate knowledge of the other fields in the outdoor space. The campus also provides an important resting place for residents. Therefore the campus should be convenient for both local residents and students, and should be designed to let students and local residents communicate with each other in outdoor space. This study attempts to identify the problems of the outdoor space in such a point. The high scores of campus evaluation indexes are as follows: First, the lighting in the favorite space and installing seats in a green space of the vestibule get the highest score. Also, separation of a sidewalk and a roadway, the ease of holding events, simple food and beverage near the entrance, the interacting place of people, the resting place near the porch in cold winter, the lighting in a bus stop and parking lot also get good evaluations.

Implementation of Artificial Intelligence Systems for Agri-food Supply Chains: A Bibliometric Approach

  • Purpose: The present study is developed with the aim of mapping the trends in scientific production related to the implementation of artificial intelligence systems for agro-food supply chains. Research design, data and methodology: The methodological approach of the research shows a descriptive documentary process based on bibliometric techniques for mapping the main indicators of the area of knowledge through the establishment of a search equation in Scopus. Results: The research results show a total of 633 documents published between 2019 and 2023, with a great annual growth rate of 61.68%; In addition to a notable participation of countries such as India, China, the United Kingdom and the United States in the generation of new knowledge related to artificial intelligence applied to food distribution systems. Conclusions: It is concluded that the rise of new artificial intelligence technologies has shown extremely important results in the development of industries worldwide, with increasingly accelerated steps; which certainly translates into the creation of spaces and incentives in the production of research aimed at understanding these dynamics and in turn to propose new alternatives and proposals for the reduction of the large technological gaps that are present within the agro-food sector.

학습과 근접성의 지리에 대한 재고찰: 관계적/조직적 관점 (Geographies of Learning and Proximity Reconsidered: A Relational/Organizational Perspective)

  • 본 연구는 지역 발전과 기업의 성공에 있어 추동력으로써 주장되는 지식과 학습의 근원에 관찬 문제에 대한 이론적 고찰이다. 최근 들어, 경제지리학과 인접 사회과학계를 중심으로 지식과 학습의 근원으로써 지역과 지리적 근접성의 역할을 강조하는 연구가 급격히 늘어나고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 연구들은 기업에 있어 학습이 어떻게 발생하고 그 과정이 조직되는지에 대해서, 그리고 그러한 지식과 학습의 근원이 어디에 있는지에 대한 엄밀한 고찰이 부족하다. 이러한 경향성은 기업 조직에서 발생하는 학습의 본질과 그 과정을 오도할 뿐만 아니라, 학습의 근원으로써 지역과 지리적 근접성의 역할을 과장할 수 있는 위험성을 내포한다. 본 논문의 목적은 학습의 지리에 대한 최근의 연구를 비판적으로 고찰하고, 근접성에 대한 개념적 확장 및 조직 학습 이론을 통해 학습의 근원에 대한 관계적/조직적 관점을 이론적으로 구축하는 것이다. 이러한 작업의 일환으로 ‘실행 커뮤니티(communities of practice)’, ‘인식 커뮤니티(epistemic communities)’그리고 ‘테스크포스팀(task-force teams)’등과 같은 기업조직내 ‘커뮤니티’를 통해 학습이 어떻게 발현되고, 구축되는지에 대해 고찰한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 조직형태들을 통해, 분산되어 있는 지식과 역량이 조직의 공간을 통해 결집되고 다양한 형태로 존재하는 지식들이 결합됨으로써 혁신이 달성될 수 있다고 주장한다.
