키덜트 패션구매자의 특성과 구매행동 -키덜트 패션감성과 사회심리적 특성을 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics and the Buying Behaviors of Kidult Fashion Purchasers - Kidult Fashion Emotion and Socio-Psychological Variables -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the dimensions of kidult fashion emotion and identify the influence of socio-psychological characteristics(nostalgic orientation, change inclination, and self-esteem) on kidult fashion emotion. 'Kidult', composite of kid and adult is indicating a group of people who feel nostalgic for and feel attachment to the products that they have been used in their childhood. A questionnaire was prepared in the survey and a total of 474 women in their twenties and thirties who had purchased the kidult fashion products were selected. The research findings are as follows: 1. Kidult fashion emotion can be classified as 5 factors: pursuits of fashion emotion, seeking girlish image emotion, preference for character emotion, seeking fun emotion, and past oriented emotion. 2. Socio-psychological variable that affected kidult fashion emotion is turned out change inclination. 3. The higher the seeking girlish image and pursuit of fashion emotion tendencies, the more they purchase the kidult fashion products. Based on these results, kidult fashion emotions are not the attachment to the past but positive expression of self and individuality.

키덜트 유형별 특징을 활용한 네일아트 융합 디자인 (Nail Art Convergence Designs Using Kidult Characteristics)

  • 최근 사회 현상으로 부각되고 있는 키덜트 문화를 유형별로 큐티즘 키덜트, 판타즘 키덜트, 메모리즘 키덜트 3가지로 분류하고 각각의 특징을 분석한 후 독창적이고 창의적인 네일아트 융합 디자인을 제시함으로써 네일아트의 디자인 영역을 확대하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학위논문, 전문서적, 인터넷 자료 등을 조사하여 키덜트 유형별 특징과 디자인 사례를 분석하였고, 분석한 내용을 기초로 키덜트 유형별 특징을 활용하여 독창적이고 창의적인 네일아트 융합 디자인 작품을 제작하였다. 연구결과 큐티즘 키덜트는 귀여움, 화려함, 캐릭터 차용, 판타즘 키덜트는 상상의 가치, 판타지, 메모리즘 키덜트는 추억 회상, 캐릭터 차용으로 특징이 분석되었다. 이러한 키덜트 유형별 특징을 네일아트 디자인 6 작품을 제작하였으며, 이를 통해 문화현상을 기초로 한 네일아트 디자인의 독창성과 다양한 표현성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the character of consumers and the situation of domestic kidult fashion market. By grasping the distribution of kidult generation and the factors of product-selection based on products images, this research could be a substantial data to kidult associated company product planning and marketers. Subjects for this study were 213 Daegu women from 20 to 30 yearn of age who have high propensity to kidult. The statistical treatment of material used by SPSS 1.0 program consists of frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, cluster analysis, and t-test. As a results, the characteristics of kidult consumers are classified as six factors. On image toward of kidult fashion goods, there was a significant difference 20 and 30 aged generation. According to fashion goods group, each group recognized on image of fashion products as follow: Group A is 'fancy', group B is 'childish', group C are 'familiarity', group D was recognized as 'fancy' and was identical to A on adjective expression, but was different A on recognition. All consumer characteristics of fun, character, girlish, nostalgia have a significant relation with the recurrence of products selection factor, and its order was character, girlish, nostalgia, and fun.

키덜트(Kidult)족의 의복행동 (Clothing Behavior of Kidult Group)

  • This study is a review of the clothing behavior of kidult group that is a new minority group in 21st century. Kidult is the compound word of kid and adult and refers the persons who have become adults but with the inclination to focus on childlike culture and consumption. As the background of the appearance of the kidult group these days, the prevalence of throwback fashions, high valuation of appearance, the phenomenon to prefer light things caused by economic depression, the individualism that does not care about others and the ageless phenomenon that the consumptions are mind age oriented, may be pointed out. The most prominent cloth behavioral characters of the kidult group are that they enjoy bounding color combinations such as candy color and. that cute t-shirts, crop pants and volume skirts of girlish look are easily found. Also, they enjoy toy-like ornaments and illustrated clothes or accessories and the school uniform fashion implying nostalgia for girl-hood and lovely make-up indicate the kidult inclination.

놀이공원 테마를 활용한 키덜트(Kidult) 패션디자인 (Kidult Fashion Design Inspired Amusement Park)

  • Kidult trend has continued to influence diverse areas such as fashion, advertisement, interior, cosmetics, and so on in the modern age. As combined word of kid and adult, a Kidult is an adult who participates in youth culture and activities traditionally intended for children. This study intends to check out how the phenomenon of Kidult trend is exhibited in fashion area as well as to develop fashion design for kidult inspired by the images shown in an amusement park. The method of study is two-fold. One is a critical review of previous literature and the other is a development of fashion design based on it. The literature study is referred to books of fashion, books of trend and data collected through internet, and design results are presented using mainly quilting and knitting techniques. The results are as follows. Firstly, a kidult fashion was expressed playful and interesting by the sensibilities of kidults that hope to return to the innocence of childhood reminiscing about the good old days. Secondly, a characteristic of the fashion design for kidults is to display the innovative and diverse design with exaggerated expression and a broad spectrum of colors. One's own unique style can be developed through memories and fantasies from fairy tales in childhood. Thirdly, themes of amusement parks were an appropriate means to show the characteristics of the kidults. A variety of characters and buildings and shapes of the rides in the amusement parks were useful for the design motive targeting for the customers with the kidult characteristics and images of fashion and accessories design. Fourthly, inspired by the amusement parks, the work in this research has presented the new kidult styles designed as various forms combining inner feelings that seek distinctive and unique styles and amusement features.

팝아트적 키덜트 문화 연구 (A study on pop art kidult culture)

  • 본 연구는 다양한 문화가 공존하는 현대사회 속에서 성인의 문화에 유쾌하고 재미있는 것을 추구하는 키덜트 문화가 나타나기 시작한 것을 예술사조로서 팝아트가 현대 키덜트 문화에 영향을 준 것으로 보고 팝아트의 특성의 맥을 이어온 키덜트 문화가 소비시장에 밝은 미래를 기약하고 키덜트 문화상품의 세계화 확대를 통한 키덜트 마케팅에 도움이 되고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 팝아트의 특성과 문화현상을 분석하기 위해 논문과 학술지 등 선행 문헌을 통한 이론적 연구 자료를 참고하였고 현시점의 키덜트 문화현상을 느낄 수 있도록 최근 이슈가 되는 키덜트적 언론보도, TV프로그램, 영화, 광고, 생활용품 등을 뉴스, 미디어자료, 인터넷 자료 등을 중심으로 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 팝아트적 표현특성 중 대중성, 생동감, 유머와 위트가 특히 키덜트 문화에 영향을 준 것으로 보고 있다. 이를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 키덜트 소비문화의 질적 양적 향상을 통해 밝은 소비시장의 활성화를 기대해 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 연령에 맞는 다양한 아이템의 문화상품개발을 통한 키덜트 소비문화 확대의 노력이 필요하다. 셋째, 국내기업은 자체 개발한 캐릭터로 성인 소비시장을 개척해야 한다. 넷째, 세계시장에 한류를 이용한 키덜트 문화상품의 적극적인 마케팅이 필요하다.

Jeffrey Fulvimari의 작품을 응용한 키덜트 패션 디자인 - CAD 시스템을 이용하여 - (Kidult Fashion Design Appling Jeffrey Fulvimari's Work - Using CAD System -)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop 'fashion design for kidults' appling fashion illustrator Jeffrey Fulvimari's work which is offering inspiration through collaboration with artists of various fields, and it was also used to advertisement visual of many products. The method of the study is composed of literature study and development of fashion design based on it. The literature study is referred to books of fashion, books of trend and data collected through Internet, and design results are presented using Adobe Illustrator 10 and Photoshop 7.0 programs. This study chose images which give cute and lively feeling among famous fashion illustrator Jeffrey Fulvimari's works on the basis of influence of kidult trend appeared in modern fashion and presented kidult fashion design that expresses naive & happy memories of childhood girlishly and sexily using CAD system. Appling images appeared in Jeffrey's work to kidult fashion design could confirm that artist's work has a realizable possibility as high value-added design component, and it answered to kidult trend which is expressed variously in modern fashion.

현대 여성 컬렉션에 나타난 키덜트적 표현 방법 및 표현 특성 (Expression and characteristics of kidult in contemporary women's collection)

  • The purpose of this study is to delineate and analyze the expression of the kidult and its characteristics and thereby provide data to be used for fashion design in various manners as well as to suggest creative and varied possibilities of fashion design. As a way to study, the author of this paper organized the general terms, concepts and definitions concerning the kidult in the previous papers and journals. The data was collected from the collections represent the characteristics of kidult especially from 2006 to 2015. The results are as follows: Firstly, The characters stimulating the innocence of children were used the most for infantile expression. Parody used characters in the movie or famous logos. Deformation was used to create designs by way of distortion and deformation. Exaggeration thereby showing visually strong impression and inducing surprise and unexpectedness. Depaysement was useful to let us describe concepts and enhance our infinite creativity and interests about objects using surrealistic. Secondly, Infantile characteristics used the images of toys with infantile imagination and sense of humor. Fantasy introduced objects or expressed a dream-like feeling. Unexpectedness used two-faced ideas or conflicting ideas to express conflicts, collision and an interchange with heterogeneous things, avoiding the limit of size and the simplicity of materials. Parody used jocular expressions, satire and ironic expressions to express the original image in a fun manner. Exaggeration transformed changed the structure to restructure objects in a subjective and creative manner, thereby expressing creative patterns using various subject matters by way of special modeling or distortion and transformation.

  • Quality of life today is being enhanced through technology and economic activities, but time for leisure has continued to shrink. In this modern society, a phenomenon is appearing in which people are trying to return to their pure and childlike worlds to relieve themselves from the pressures of stress, anxiety, and feelings of crisis in their repetitive and boring daily lives. Along with the struggle for existence that they feel, this shows how modern people hold on to nostalgic elements experienced in their childhood, and have a tendency to want to express those experiences through consumer activities. As positive opinions stating that such consumer activities not only relieve stress, but also help psychological stability are emerging, consumer trends for the development of fashion products which reflect 'Kidult' emotions are becoming increasingly popular. Not only that, with interior products, the need for the development of differentiated designs which are focused on consumers and which reflect consumer demands is being magnified as they are very important as living designs within the consumption environments of modern people. As such, the goal of this study is to develop textile pattern designs for kidult interior products for adults.

  • 지금 모피트렌드는 대중화와 디지털 트렌드에 힘입어 쇼킹하고 믹스드된 디자인과 실루엣이 컬렉션에 보이고 있다. 벌키하고 짧은 실루엣이 보이는데, 예전보다는 캐주얼에 믹스되기 때문에 그렇다. 배경에는 키덜트의 부상, 자연주의, 테크노캐주얼, 새로운 아방가르드로 표현되어진다. 이제 모피는 더 이상 클래식엘레강스(고현진, 2005) 아이템이 아니고, 보다 재미있고 차브(조주연, 2006)한 아이템으로 변해야 한다.
