Alginate와 Kaoline을 이용(利用)한 방출조절제(放出調節劑)의 14C-Butachlor 용출특성(溶出特性) (Release Profile of 14C-Butachlor from Controlled Release Formulation Prepared with Alginate-Kaoline Matrix)

  • Alginate와 Kaoline을 저장매체(貯藏媒體)로 사용(使用)하여 제제(製劑)한 Butachlor[N-(butoxymethyl)-2-chloro-2', 6'-diethylacetamlide] 방출조절제(放出調節劑)의 특성(特性) 및 주성분(主成分) 용출양상(溶出樣相)을 암조건(暗條件)과 일광노출(日光露出) 조건하(條件下)에서 zeolite 흡착형립제(吸着型粒劑)와 비교시험(比較試驗)하였다. Calcium alginate-Kaoline 저장체(貯藏體)에의 butachior제제율(製劑率)은 91.8%이상(以上)이었고 제품(製品)의 수율(收率)은 kaoline의 첨가량(添加量)이 증가(增加)할수록 감소(減少)하였다. 방출조절제(放出調節劑)의 수중(水中) 주성분(主成分) 용출속도(溶出速度)는 시험조건(試驗條件)에 관계(關係)없이 zeolite흡착형립체(吸着型粒劑)보다 완만(緩慢)하였고 kaoline의 함량(含量)이 증가(增加)할수록 그 속도(速度)는 현저(顯著)하게 감소(減少)하였다. 일광노출조건(日光露出條件)에서 수증기(水蒸氣)와의 공증류(共蒸溜)에 의(依)한 용출주성분(溶出主性成分)의 감소율(減少率)은 kaoline의 함량(含量)이 증가(增加)할수록 저하(低下)되는 경향(傾向)을 보였다.

Flocculation Characteristics of Kaoline Suspensions in Water by Cationic Polyelectrolytes

  • Using a simple continuous optical technique, coupled with measurements of zeta potential, the flocculation characteristics of kaoline suspensions of different content(15, 35 and 55 NTU) by several cationic polyelectrolytes, has been examined. The optimum mixing is obtained under a constant stirring of 200 rpm, differently from a general flocculation test. The charge density of a polyelectrolyte is important in determining the optimum dosage and in the removal of kaoline particles. The optimum dosage is less for the polyelectrolyte of higher charge density and is the same regardless of kaoline content. At the dosage, the removal of kaoline particles is higher for the polyelectrolyte of higher charge density and zeta potential of kaoline particles reaches to near zero. The rate of adsorption and flocculation rate have been found to be affected by charge density and molecular weight of a polyelelctrolyte and the content of kaoline particles.

국내산 고령토정제에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Purification of Domestic Kaolin Mineral)

  • The samples used for this work were low grade c1ay($Fe_2O_3$ : 2.90%, $TiO_2$ : 1.65%) produced from Youngsan-po district, and for the iron-bearing impurities removal having a bad influence on Kaoline sample was carried out column floatatoin using Oleic acid, Potassium oleat, Aero 840 promotor, Aero 870 promotor and Keroseneas collectors. For removal of the iron-vearing impurities from the kaoline, investigated first chemical composition size distribution of Kaoline sample, also performanced a basic study on pulp density, collector and pH change on a sort of frother. The flotation separation of impurities from kaoline can be achieved by using both oleic acid and Aero 840 promotor as collectors within narrow acid limits(pH 2-3). Pine oil was more effective frother than MIBC with olelic acid as aa collector.

패각분말을 이용한 살균성 메디아의 제조 및 정수기용 필터에 대한 응용 (Manufacture of Sterilizing Media with Shell Powder and It's Application to the Filter of Water Clarifier)

  • Antimicrobial powder was made by exchanging silver ion on calcined oyster shell. On the purpose of application to water clarifier, bail-type media mixed with antimicrobial powder and $0{\sim}30%$ white kaoline were made. The sterilization effect, pore size distribution and zeta potential was tested to indicate the condition for the media of water clarifier. From these tests, it was confirmed that this media have an excellent sterilization power on $G^-\;and\;G^+$ germs. As the concentration of the exchanged silver ion increased, the surface charge density of the anions on the surface of the media also increased. The surface pore size decreased with the concentration of silver ion and 20% more white kaoline ratio. Consequently, mixing ratio of white kaoline would appear to indicate the optimun condition as media have sterilization power.

Effects of Polyelectrolyte Dosage, Kaoline Particles and pH on Flocculation of Humic Acid by Catonic Polyelectrolytes

  • 잎들깨 종자의 파종 밀도 조절을 위해 종자코팅 용도로 사용된 엔도설판 분제에 의한 시설재배지 토양중 endosulfan의 잔류량을 경감시키기 위하여 이를 대체할 수 있는 종자코팅재료의 선발 및 이들이 미치는 발아영향을 조사하였다. 코팅재료는 talc, kaoline, 패화석등 석회류가 가능하였다. 코팅재료의 종자부착을 위한 접착제로는 식용유, 전착제, 알코올, 증류수 순이었으나 종자 발아영향은 반대경향을 나타냈다. 코팅재료별 종자부착성은 패화석, 생석회, 석회, talc, kaoline이 양호하였으나 토양과의 색깔 구별성은 패화석등 석회류에 비해 talc, kaoline이 좋았다. 선발 코팅제를 종자에 부착시 잎들깨의 발아율은 talc, kaoline이 양호하였고 토양과의 색깔 구별성도 양호하였다.

Cd으로 오염된 토양의 EK 정화시 Humic acid가 미치는 영향

  • This research was carried out to evaluate the effects of humic acid on contaminated kaoline with cadmium when electrokinetic remediation. Electrokinetic remediation test was performed depending on humic acid concentrations(0.005, 0.01, 0.05, 0.083, 0.1, 0.5, 5.0mg/g) in contaminated kaoline with cadmium and time(4, 8, 12days). In the absence of humic acid, Cd at the anode showed the highest concentration while Cd concentrations were lower as the concentration of humic acid increased. The removal of Cd to the anode reservoir was increased with increasing humic acid concentration by electroosmosis or ion migration.

  • This paper present the result of the investigation, the electric properties of insulators due to non-soluble contamination. In general, the humidity and the amount of soluble salts such as NaCl, MgCl$_2$are the most dominant factor. Though the non-soluble do not distribute on conductivity of contaminant layer, that has the hygroscopic property. For this study, we make a mini-fog chamber with transparent acryl and the kaoline was used for non-soluble contaminant. The kaoline was applied with sprayer to get the specific ESDD and NSDD value, then the specimen was dried and installed horizontally. And to measure the leakage current a DAS system was developed with LabView. With the result, we could know the influence of non-soluble content and the relationship between NSDD and ESDD.

메시형 알루미늄 전극을 이용한 전기응집/부상 공정에서 Kaoline의 탁도 제거 (Turbidity Removal of Kaolin in an Electrocoagulation/Flotation Process Using a Mesh-type Aluminum Electrode)

  • The Electrocoagulation-Flotation (ECF) process has great potential in wastewater treatment. ECF technology is effective in the removal of colloidal particles, oil-water emulsion, organic pollutants such as microalgae, and heavy metals. Numerous studies have been conducted on ECF; however, many of them used a conventional plate-type aluminum anode. In this study, we determined the effect of changing operational parameters such as power supply time, applied current, NaCl concentration, and pH on the turbidity removal efficiency of kaoline. We also determined the effects of different electrolyte types (NaCl, $MgSO_4$, $CaCl_2$, $Na_2SO_4$, and tap water), as well as the differences caused by using a plate-type and mesh-type aluminum anode, on the turbidity removal efficiency. The results showed that the optimal values of ECF time, applied current, NaCl concentration, and pH were 5 min, 0.35 A, 0.4 g/L NaCl in distilled water, and pH 7, respectively. The results also revealed that the turbidity removal efficiency of kaoline in different electrolytes decreased in the following sequence, given the same conductivity: tap water > $CaCl_2$ > $MgSO_4$ > NaCl > $Na_2SO_4$. The turbidity removal efficiency of the mesh-type aluminum anode was significantly greater than the plate-type aluminum anode.
