  • Purpose: This paper addresses issues that concern business-to-business marketing, namely informational justice in the supply chain or organizations. As previously reported by other studies, there is information asymmetry in organizations. The present study explores and addresses this in the medical industry, aiming to investigate how informational justice relates to information quality or logistics performance in the medical industry. This study also suggests a method for development of informational justice in medicine-related fields. Design, methodology, approach: The hypothesis and model were developed through a review of the literature. To this end, we surveyed 293 valid survey samples collected from occupational pharmacists and used structural equation modelling for analysis. Findings: The results of the empirical analysis of the hypotheses showed that symmetric sharing of information between pharmacists and employees of pharmaceutical companies has a positive effect on the perceived quality. Moreover, the results showed that quality information has a positive impact on logistics performance, whereas informational justice does not. Conclusions, implications: If information and explanations are exchanged fairly, information and logistics performance-as well as operational expenses-will be enhanced. Furthermore, our study has immense implications outside of academic applications since it suggests practical solutions to government and medical industry employees.

  • Objectives: This study analyzed the influence of the career plateau phenomenon and distributive justice among hospital nurses on their turnover intention and the moderating effect of proactivity on these correlations. Methods: Survey data from 459 out of 500 hospital nurses at 9 hospitals were collected and used for analysis. SPSS 24.0 was used for conducting regression, validity, and reliability analyses. Results: Career plateau was positively related to turnover intention, whereas distributive justice was negatively related to turnover intention. Proactivity strengthened the positive influence of career plateau on turnover intention. By contrast, proactivity alleviated the negative relation between distributive justice and turnover intention. Conclusions: This study empirically confirmed that career plateau and distributive justice are important antecedent factors of the turnover intention of hospital nurses. Proactivity played a key moderating role between these antecedent factors and turnover intention. Theoretical and practical implications of this study were also discussed.

This study was conducted using a between-group design with 208 students from a four-year university in Korea. One group watched a video in which a human personnel manager selected employees and the other group watched a video in which an AI personnel manager selected employees. Participants were randomly assigned to a condition, responded to a demographic questionnaire, and answered measures of procedural justice and satisfaction with personnel selection after watching the video. As a result, the selection process satisfaction was significantly higher when the human personnel manager conducted the selection process than when the AI personnel manager conducted such process. In addition, when procedural justice was perceived as low, there was a significant difference in satisfaction between human and AI groups. However, when procedural justice was perceived as high, there was no significant difference in satisfaction between the two groups. Based on study results, the significance and limitations of this study and suggestions for future studies are discussed.

Information security requires participation from the employees who execute the security system and policy, and to increase the level of organization's internal security, requires organization's systematic support to improve employees' information security compliance intention. This research finds the mechanism for improving employee's information security compliance intention by applying justice theory and goal setting theory in information security. We use structural equation modeling to verify the research hypothesis, and conducted a survey on the employees of organization with information security policy. In other words, this research performs verification of the research model based hypothesis which claims that security policy goal setting has positive influence on employee's level of security related justice recognition, and claims that justice has positive influence on compliance intention. The object of study is the employees of the organization that adapts information security policy, and 383 valid samples were collected via survey. This study was the first case which classifies PMO capability into internal and external by ownership of PMO. By comparison, external PMO capability has relationship only with procedural justice, but never related to project performance. Furthermore, distributive justice and procedural Justice all have correlation with project performance. In general, capability of external professional consulting firms is utilized for the fairness and objectivity in spite of sufficient internal project management capability. However, the internal PMO capability has greater influence on procedural justice than external's (internal PMO capability > external PMO capability). Also, distributive justice and project performance have direct correlation only with the internal PMO capability. This paper will be an indicator of finding human capabilities which are necessary for internal and external PMO performance, and has great significance of laying a groundwork of project management strategy by PMO.
