불연속면을 고려한 터널의 설계 및 보강 방안 (A scheme of tunnel design considering rock discontinuities)

  • This paper presents some proposed methods for discontinuum analysis with rock discontinuities data acquisited in tunnel design stage. The limit equilibrium method for rock block sliding and falling proposed in this paper can consider the tunnel excavation and support stage, and, to the extent, the standard deviations and means of joint set orientation. Simple Distinct Elemet modelling methods are recommended in estimating the stability of tunnels in jointed rock masses. Because, the simple models are likely to show more consistent and clear than very complex model with finite joint length and joint deviation parameters.

  • Objectives : Previous studies have shown that the amount of melittin, the main active ingredient in bee venom pharmacopuncture, tends to decrease substantially with time during pharmacopuncture manufacture. This study aimed to assess whether the stability of bee venom pharmacopuncture improved with pharmacopuncture additives. Methods : Components were measured using high performance liquid chromatography. Acute toxicity and antigenicity tests by subcutaneous and venous routes were conducted at Korea Pharmaceutical Test & Research Institute and mortality, adverse reactions, and body weight changes were assessed. Results : Stability tests using additives revealed that bee venom without additives was most stable. Bee venom pharmacopuncture without additives was further tested for toxicity in subcutaneous and venous administration in mice and no changes pertaining to toxicity were found over the testing period. Conclusions : Bee venom pharmacopuncture without additives was found to be most stable, and further, it did not show toxicity or antigenicity in subcutaneous and venous administration in mice.

관절고착고장에 대한 육각 보행 로봇의 내고장성 걸음새 생성 (Fault-Tolerant Gait Generation of Hexapod Robots for Locked Joint Failures)

  • Fault-tolerant gait generation of a hexapod robot with crab walking is proposed. The considered fault is a locked joint failure, which prevents a joint of a leg from moving and makes it locked in a known position. Due to the reduced workspace of a failed leg, fault-tolerant crab walking has a limitation in the range of heading direction. In this paper, an accessible range of the crab angle is derived for a given configuration of the failed leg and, based on the principles of fault-tolerant gait planning, periodic crab gaits are proposed in which a hexapod robot realizes crab walking after a locked joint failure, having a reasonable stride length and stability margin. The proposed crab walking is then applied to path planning on uneven terrain with positive obstacles. i.e., protruded obstacles which legged robots cannot cross over but have to take a roundabout route to avoid. The robot trajectory should be generated such that the crab angle does not exceed the restricted range caused by a locked joint failure.

  • Statement of problem. Higher incidence of prosthetic complications such as screw loosening, screw fracture has been reported for posterior single tooth implant. So, there is ongoing research regarding stability of implant-abutment interface. One of those research is increasing the implant diameter and prosthetic table width to improve joint stability. In another part of this research, internal conical type implant-abutment interface was developed and reported joint strength is higher than traditional external hex interface. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to compare stress distribution in single molar implant between external hex butt joint implant and internal conical joint implant when increasing the implant diameter and prosthetic table width : 4mm diameter, 5mm diameter, 5mm diameter/6mm prosthetic table width. Material and method. Non-linear finite element models were created and the 3-dimensional finite element analysis was performed to see the distribution of stress when 300N static loading was applied to model at $0^{\circ},\;15^{\circ},\;30^{\circ}$ off-axis angle. Results. The following results were obtained : 1. Internal conical joint showed lower tensile stress value than that of external hex butt joint. 2. When off-axis loading was applied, internal conical joint showed more effective stress distribution than external hex butt joint. 3. External hex butt joint showed lower tensile stress value when the implant diameter was increased. 4. Internal conical joint showed lower tensile stress value than external hex butt joint when the implant diameter was increased. 5. Both of these joint mechanism showed lower tensile stress value when the prosthetic table width was increased. Conclusion. Internal conical joint showed more effective stress distribution than external hex joint. Increasing implant diameter showed more effective stress distribution than increasing prosthetic table width.

철도의 곡선반경 및 캔트에 따른 노반의 침하 및 지지력 산정 (Estimation of the Roadbed Settlement and Bearing Capacity According to Radius of Curve and Cant in Railroad)

  • 틸팅차량의 안정성 확보를 위해 궤도부담력과 주행안정성 검토가 이루어졌으며, 틸팅차량이 궤도부담력과 주행안정성 검토에 의해 산정된 허용속도로 운행될 경우 레일이음매 하부 노반침하에 대한 연구가 수행되었다. 열차 주행시 레일이음매와 장대레일에 작용하는 충격량이 다르기 때문에 장대레일 하부 노반에 대한 안정성 검토가 추가적으로 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 장대레일에 대하여 노반의 침하량 및 지지력을 수치해석을 통해 검토하고 허용침하량 및 허용지지력과 비교하여 노반의 안정성을 검토하였으며 레일이음매와 장대레일 하부 노반의 침하량 및 지지력을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과, 장대레일 및 레일이음부 하부 노반의 침하량은 허용침하량의 71.2% 및 88.8%, 응력은 허용지지력의 10.4% 및 12.1%로 나타났다.

공동 규모와 절리 방향성이 지하공동의 거동에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Behavior of Underground Cavern to Cavern Size and Joint Orientation)

  • 본 논문은 지하공동의 굴착시 중요한 영향을 미치는 인자인 공동 규모와 절리 방향성이 지하공동의 거동에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 연구를 실시하였다. 연구를 수행하기 위해 공동 규모와 절리 방향성에 따른 8가지 Case를 선정하여 수치해석을 실시하고 축소모형실험을 통해 검증하였다. 이를 통해 2가지 인자에 따른 응력양상을 정량적으로 평가하였다. 본 연구의 연구결과 공동 규모가 커질수록 천단부의 수직응력 및 좌 우측부의 수평응력은 증가하였다. 또한, 절리 방향성에 따른 공동의 응력양상은 절리면을 따라 미끄러짐이 발생하여 응력변화에 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과에 따라 연구가 지하공동의 안정성 평가에 대해 유용한 정보를 제공할 것이다.

Comparison of Gait Stability of using an Outdoor Rollator with Walking and using a Bassinet as Ambulatory Aid

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to find the problems of stability when people use the bassinet as an ambulatory aid for old people. Background: Many aged people use a bassinet as ambulatory aid. But the safety of using the bassinet as ambulatory aid has not been verified yet. Method: The 13 university-students who don't have musculoskeletal disorders volunteered to participate in this study. According to structural analysis of the both tools, we compared the structural stability of an outdoor rollator with the structural stability of a bassinet. And when the participants walked using both tools, the motions were captured and analysed. We measured the angle of shoulder joint and the angle of trunk from the ground when the participants were walking. And we found the distance from participants' pressure cone apex and greater trochanter. Results: Following the structural analysis, the bassinet has the lower structural stability than the outdoor rollator. When the people used the bassinet as ambulatory aid, the angle of the shoulder joint was bigger than to use the outdoor rollator. The angle of trunk wasn't different between the outdoor rollator and the bassinet. And distance from pressure cone apex to greater trochanter was far to use the bassinet than to use the outdoor rollator. Conclusion: Through the structure analysis and gait analysis of the bassinet and the outdoor rollator, we can be aware of that the bassinet has problem of stability. Therefore the people who use the bassinet as an ambulatory aid, especially supporting body weight, may be hurt due to the problems of stability. Application: This research can be used for developing a study of the ambulatory aid and preventing the accident when the aged people use the ambulatory aid.

벨로우즈형 신축관이음의 휨각도 예측 및 이를 이용한 배관계의 안정성 해석 (Prediction of Bending Angle of Bellows and Stability Analysis of Pipeline Using the Prediction)

  • In this study, the prediction of the bending angle for the 350 A bellows-type expansion joints and the structural stability according to the load were determined. The stability of the 2km piping system was predicted by applying the allowable bending angle of the expansion pipe joint obtained from the analysis. The maximum bending angle was calculated through bending analysis of the bellows-type expansion joints, and the maximum bending angle by numerical calculation was about 1.8°, and the maximum bending angle of the bellows obtained by comparing the allowable strength of the material was about 0. 22°. This angle was very stable compared to the allowable bending angle (3°) of the expansion pipe joint regulation. By applying the maximum bending angle, the allowable maximum deflection of the 2 km pipe was about 3.8 m. When the seismic load was considered using regression analysis, the maximum deflection of the 2km pipe was about 142.3mm, and it was confirmed that the bellows-type expansion joints and the deflection were stable compared to the allowable maximum deflection of the pipe system. These research results are expected to present design and analysis guidelines for the construction of piping and the development of bellows systems, and to be used as basic data for systematic research.

Income Distribution and Factors Affecting the Bank's Stability

  • Purpose: Research on banking sustainability plays an important role in helping banks understand the level of risk in different types of companies. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the factors affecting the sustainability of Joint Stock Commercia l Banks in Vietnam. Research design, data and methodology: The following theories, the factors affecting the bank's sustainability include: Business model diversification (income diversification), bank size, loan ratio, and net interest margin. Data was collected from Joint Stock Commercial banks in Vietnam from 2015 to 2019. With GLS model on panel data with banks listed on Vietnam stock exchange. Results: The analysis results show that net interest income has a positive impact on the sustainable business results of banks through the rate of return on total assets (ROA). The non-interest income hasn't impact on bank stability. From this result, there aren't positive signs of income diversification in banks. At the same time, with the obtained results, the study also provides a policy implication for banks. Conclusions: The study also provides some policy implications to improve the bank stability. Diversifying income in banks is necessary, but how to make it influential banks has not yet been done. Therefore, the adjustments in non-interest business activities need to be carefully considered by banks.

Three-Hinge 파괴의 메커니즘 및 안정성에 관한 분석 (A Study on the Stability and Mechanism of Three-Hinge Failure)

  • 3힌지파괴(three-hinge failure)는 비탈면 방향과 평행한 절리와 그에 직교하는 절리로 구성된 암반비탈면에서 발생한다. 비탈면 설계 시 일반적으로 쓰이는 한계평형법과 유한요소법은 이러한 암반비탈면 내 3힌지파괴를 모사하기에는 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 3힌지파괴를 모사하기 위해 2차원 DEM 해석프로그램인 UDEC을 이용하여 풋월 비탈면에서 흔히 발생되는 3힌지파괴의 메커니즘 및 안정성에 미치는 영향 인자에 대하여 매개변수 분석을 연구하였다. 매개변수 분석은 암반절리(층면절리, 공액절리 등)의 구조 및 지하수위 조건 등을 변경하여 수행하였다. 수치해석 결과, 3힌지파괴를 유발하는 인자 중 지하수위의 영향이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 층면절리 및 기저부절리의 마찰각 변화에 따라 안전율과 파괴 형태가 다르게 나타나는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 비탈면 보강을 포함한 풋월 비탈면의 최적설계 및 시공에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
