This study was examined for perception of introduction and adaptation stages focused on the tourist police in Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Seoul Metropolitan tourist police operates that is installed the first in Korea. Through in-depth interviews, we collected and analyzed data on the purpose of the tourist police, operating direction, the areas of activity, job characteristics, working environment. Awareness about activities of the tourist police members can have a significant impact on tourist police installations in the future. The survey was conducted for tourist police officers 16 people in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, and analysis of the data was carried out through a qualitative research analysis program NVivo 10.0. Recognition was divided that Start step, Trial-and-error step, Skilled step, Completion step from the work experience of the tourist police and it analyzed the difference between each step. Each stage found difference in the individuals, working periods, also it was confirmed that difference of opinion about the settlement and completeness in the tourist police.
A survey was implemented to suggest basic data for assuring the safety of cooked foods in foodbank operations. A questionnaire consisted of total 48 items including general characteristics, basic inputs and perceived importance/performance of sanitary management. One hundred twenty-eight responses among the 267 nationwide foodbanks were used for the statistical analysis. About forty-one percent of foodbanks was operated a period of 1-3 years and 43.0% of them were managed by social welfare organizations. The number of staff was only 0.5 person per operation with the whole responsibility and 1.0 with additional work, and thus most of the work was managed by volunteers. Job satisfaction was shown to be moderate and was affected by specialty and salary mostly. The facilities and equipment in foodbanks were not enough to operate and freezers/refrigerators were the top priority to supplement. Most of the respondents attended a nationwide level sanitary education program (79.7%); but complained not enough frequency of education (90%). The sanitary status of the donated foods was considered as satisfactory but some safety practices had to be improved, including personnel expenses and operating costs in the district level, a sanitary awareness of the donors and a general management of the facilities arid equipment. An assessment on sanitary management resulted in an overall average of 4.45 out of 5 points in importance and 3.85 in performance showing the high level of sanitation perception in foodbank managers. From the IPA analysis, the fields found to be improved were sanitation management during cooking and temperature control as well as cleanliness and sanitation of both transport vehicle and refrigerator/freezer. To secure the food safety in foodbanks, consequently, personnel support, supplement of facilities and equipment, intense sanitation education and development of sanitation management program is needed.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the need for a nutritional care service in silver town and identify awareness of the role of a dietitian in silver town using a structured questionnaire. The subjects consisted of 466 adults (216 males, 250 females), aged 20~59 years, in the Gyeongnam area. Although most of the subjects were aware of silver town and felt a necessity for it, only 24.9% of the subjects intended to live in silver town, whereas 55.6% of the respondents replied that they did not know whether they lived in silver town. Results on the importance of services offered in silver town indicated that medical service facilities, the interior and mood of silver town, the reliability of management, and meal service prepared by a dietitian were prioritized. Healthy food was the most valuable part of the meal service followed by taste. In total, 88.3% of the subjects answered that the meal service in silver town should be supervised by a dietitian. Clinical nutrition management was chosen as the most important job of the dietitian followed by sanitation management. These results could provide a better understanding of the personal needs of silver town, focusing on the meal service and the role of a dietitian.
Objectives: The study was conducted to investigate visual display terminal(VDT) and related risk factors in office workers. Method: The study subjects were 539 officers at 3 places of business in Gwangju. The data were collected by self-administered questionnaire between October 12 and October 17, 2007. and they agreed to participate in this study. The tool was developed by Moon, Jaedong(1991) for VDT syndrome. Data analysis by using SPSS/win 10.0 was performed with descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. Results: The summary of results is as follows: 1) The mean score of total VDT syndrome was $1.17{\pm}.65$ of full score 4.00, which was lower than other research. 2) For relation between general characteristics and total VDT, sex (t=-5.777, p=.000), age (F=3.516, p=.015), satisfaction of job (F=9.540, p=.000), self-awareness of health (F=25.015, p=.000) had statistically significant difference. 3) For relation between behavioral work factors and total VDT, break time of work(t=-5.363, p=.000), eye movement during computer work(t=2.176, p=.031), wrist exercise during(t=2.337, p=.020), distance between monitor and eyes(F=3.682, p=.012) had statistically significant difference. 3) For relation between environmental work factors and total VDT, height of chair(F=8.801, p=.000), space under desk(F=4.244, p=.015), reflection of monitor(t=2.697, p=.008) had statistically significant difference. Conclusion: To prevent and relieve VDT syndrome and musculoskeletal disorders in office workers, it is important to teach good posture and stretching exercise during work.
The aim of this study is to understand the effects of a self-leadership program on career recognition and self-efficacy in adolescents under probation. As a result, it was discovered that the self-leadership program had statistically significant differences in self-understanding, the understanding of work and the job world, setting a career goal and strategies in the sub-area of career recognition in adolescents under probation while there was no significant difference in the area of attitudes and values of work. The self-leadership program had statistically significant differences in confidence, self-regulated efficacy among the sub-area of self-efficacy of the subjects while there were no significant differences in the difficulty of the challenge. These results suggest that the self-leadership program had significant effects on career recognition and self-efficacy in adolescents under probation. In order to improve the career recognition and self-efficacy in adolescents under probation, further studies on the self-leadership program are needed and care should be paid to its usability.
The development and operation of the MASS (Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship) is being actively discussed for more efficient and safer maritime transportation solutions. The autonomous navigation technology has positive aspects such as the prevention of marine accidents, improvement of fuel efficiency of ships and cost reduction, and negative aspects such as job loss, task change, and security problems. It is expected that there will be new human element issues such as the situation awareness of remote operators, because the shore-based control will be conducted when fully autonomous ships are in operation. In this paper, we consider major human element issues that should be factored in the development and operation of MASS, and suggest a method of HRA (Human Reliability Analysis) for P IFs (Performance Influencing Factors) of the remote operators that are expected according to the shore-based control.

The objective of this study is to analyze such discourse as mission statements and objectives, goals, and strategic plan of iSchools. Educational changes created by the digital reality and prevalent information systems and computers became an increasingly important part of library and information science. As a result, library and information schools joined iSchools as the cooperative effort to advance and to understand the rapid changes. These positioning validated the missions, objectives, goals of iSchools and thus an analysis of these documents can lead the way to the future of LIS education. For this job a qualitative analysis were performed to scrutinize the awareness of, support for and involvement with the field among key constituencies.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the food sanitation awareness and performance of foodservice industry employees. Based on a literature review, a questionnaire was developed to identify the food sanitation education, experience, knowledge, and food sanitation practices of the employees. A total of 376 Korean food industry employees participated, and there were 344 usable questionnaires. In the analysis of food sanitation knowledge, the statements "clip fingernails short and do not use nail polish", and "if feeling sick, even with a minor cold, speak to your supervisor immediately", had the highest and lowest percentages of correct answers, respectively. In assessing employee sanitary management practices, many correctly acknowledged "clip fingernails short and do not use nail polish" and "wash hands after using the toilet", which received high scores; however, "use hands to pick up ice" and "if feeling sick, even with a minor cold, speak to your supervisor immediately" had low scores. The sanitary knowledge and practice levels of the employees were not significantly different according to gender, age, work area, job title, or duration of duty. Among the surveyed industries, employees of special restaurants had the least sanitary knowledge(p<0.05) and practice scores(p<0.001). Employees who had worked for $1{\sim}3$ years presented the least sanitary management practice level scores(p<0.05).). In addition, college students and participants without hygiene educational experience showed the least levels of sanitary knowledge(p<0.01). Scores for sanitary management practice were higher when hygiene education was regularly conducted more than once per month. Employees showed significantly higher knowledge and sanitary management practice levels when they were required to use a sanitary checklist(p<0.001), and employees who were trained in HACCP had significantly higher sanitary checklist scores(p<0.05). In foodservices that applied HACCP, the employees showed higher knowledge and sanitary management practice levels(p<0.001).
This study is aimed to investigate ethics cognition to information of youths who are main users of computers, but yet not built up the own ethics and the sense of value, as ethical problems are raised in information-oriented society. The research was focused on youths ethics cognition to information according to contact of multimedia pornography, surreptitious use of others and abusion of indecent languages in chatting. The survey was conducted to 520 students from middle and high schools in Jeju region and analyzed Probit Regression. The major results of this study are as follows; First, most of youths possess own-computers, and use Internet. Second, looking into experiencing or not according to sub-spheres of ethics cognition to information, the experience of contacting multimedia pornography was few. but the primary place of using it was a house. Most of youths approach multimedia pornography in awareness of a ban on youths' contact. The experience of surreptitious use of others was less than other spheres, and mainly only once. The number of youths who have an experience of abusing indecent languages was less than that of youths who don't have, but the frequency of was high when the youths have an experience. Third, the experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a significant difference on personal-relative variables such as gender, age, education levels, number of siblings, academic records, personal expenses, relationship with friends. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon family-relative variables such as father's education levels, Job, mother's age, education levels, employment, family type, monthly household expense. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon PC-relative variables such as deviation experience in PC rooms, the experience of request for age confirmation(I.D. card), average use hour of PC rooms. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a more meaningful influence on personal-relative variables and PC-relative variables than family-relative variables.
Exposure of personal information that is held by hacking accident near the company has led to severe water level. And, it has changed security threat elements generated according to businessenterprise. Therefore, in this paper, I looked at security threat elements and proposed the way of appropriate information security consulting according type of company. First, In the financial and insurance industries, and should not have been compromised by a worm virus infection due to lack of awareness inside of members, by collectively apply in the same way the internal security standards of the organization to members, the risk of customer information. It shall be provided in advance that the security accident occurs due to a higher job group. Therefore, information security consulting method based on people and information is applied. Secondly, in industry of company, to perform consulting information security based on the attributes of the case industry groups.
