  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the impact of job stress on job turnover intention through job satisfaction for vocational counselors working in private and employment centers in Korea. This study applied the significance sampling method, and the number of samples used in the maximum analysis was 167 copies, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 20.0 program. In order to verify the relationship between each variable, four hypotheses were established, and empirical analysis and surveys were conducted. As a result of the analysis, first, among the sub-factors of job stress of vocational counselors, job demands, organizational systems, and workplace culture had a significant positive (+) effect on turnover intention. Second, among the sub-factors of job stress, job demand, lack of job autonomy, and organizational system were found to have a significant negative (-) effect on job satisfaction. Third, job satisfaction was found to have a significant negative (-) effect on turnover intention. Fourth, it was found that job satisfaction partially mediates complete mediation with job factors, which are sub-factors of job stress, with the organizational system. Therefore, it can be seen that job stress of vocational counselors is a factor affecting turnover intention and job satisfaction. Based on these analysis results, the implications of the study, suggestions to reduce the intention to change jobs due to stress of vocational counselors, and limitations of the study were presented.

Of a total of 394 questionnaires, 34 was excluded because of poor responses and finally 360(Gwangju 296, Jeonnam 64) were analyzed. Results : For job satisfaction associated with the total career and turnover, satisfaction was increased with the total career. Job satisfaction associated with working conditions became higher as a monthly mean paycheck was increased or when an incentive, in the annual pay system and long-service men preference was provided(p<0.05). Job satisfaction was 3.26. The highest satisfaction at detailed factors was found in patient relation(3.85), colleague relation(3.40), prospects(3.26), dentistry organization(3.17), autonomy(3.10), and pay(2.78). For detailed factors of job satisfaction, the most influential factor was monthly mean paycheck, followed by incentive, age and marriage(p<0.05). Conclusions : When dental hygienists' working environment is planned and improved in the rational and desirable direction, their job satisfaction will be improved. • Assuming that Smart Work will have a positive effect on job satisfaction, and which, in turn, will improve productivity, domestic and international organizations have adopted and implemented Smart Work. However, leading companies have recently reduced or shut down operations of Smart Work. If Smart Work had really brought about the improvement of productivity, there would be no reason for organizations to take such action. Therefore, this paper reviews the relationship among Smart Work, job satisfaction and productivity. Based on the National Digital Science Library (NDSL) database, we select eight references related to Smart Work, and analyze them systematically. The previous empirical studies show that Smart Work produces a positive outcome for job satisfaction, which, in turn, improves productivity. However, we find that the previous research has a problem demonstrating the relationship between job satisfaction and productivity, because they has unclearly measured the concept of job satisfaction. This research deeply discuss this issue, and provides future research direction.

  • Purpose: The purpose was to investigate the relations among job stress, depression, social support, and coping strategies of nurses. Method: The data were collected from 362 nurses. A self-administered questionnaire was used to assess general characteristics, job stress, depression, social support and coping strategies. Results: The prevalence of depression was 41.7%. Scores of job demand and insecurity, and organizational climate were very high. Logistic regressions showed that nurses, who were single, their 20s, had less than a career year, or working in private hospitals, associated with an increased risk of depression. The sub-scales of job stress except interpersonal conflict and lack of autonomy contributed to an increased risk of depression (lower group; OR=0.248, 95% CI:0.14-0.43). Also individual and organizational support and control coping strategies were associated with depression(lower group: OR=2.993, 95% CI: 2.11-6.30; OR=2.993, 95% CI: 1.51-5.65; OR=2.372, 95% CI=1.43-3.93). Conclusion: These findings indicated that the job stress, especially organizational climate, insecurity of job, lack of reward, individual and organizational support, and control coping strategies contributed to a risk of depression. In order to prevent the depression, the organizational support and strategies will be needed. The depression in specific context and organizational climate should be considered in future studies.

Community (${\beta}=0.261$, p<0.001) and (${\beta}=0.238$, p<0.001) had the highest positive influence on dedication. (${\beta}=0.287$, p<0.001) and community (${\beta}=0.224$, p<0.001) had the highest positive influence on absorption. Workload (${\beta}=-0.195$, p<0.001) and community (${\beta}=-0.182$, p<0.001) had the highest negative influence on turnover intention.
