ELPA: Emulation-Based Linked Page Map Analysis for the Detection of Drive-by Download Attacks

  • Despite the convenience brought by the advances in web and Internet technology, users are increasingly being exposed to the danger of various types of cyber attacks. In particular, recent studies have shown that today's cyber attacks usually occur on the web via malware distribution and the stealing of personal information. A drive-by download is a kind of web-based attack for malware distribution. Researchers have proposed various methods for detecting a drive-by download attack effectively. However, existing methods have limitations against recent evasion techniques, including JavaScript obfuscation, hiding, and dynamic code evaluation. In this paper, we propose an emulation-based malicious webpage detection method. Based on our study on the limitations of the existing methods and the state-of-the-art evasion techniques, we will introduce four features that can detect malware distribution networks and we applied them to the proposed method. Our performance evaluation using a URL scan engine provided by VirusTotal shows that the proposed method detects malicious webpages more precisely than existing solutions.

  • 최근 인터넷의 발전과 동시에 인터넷을 이용한 악성코드 유포는 가장 심각한 사이버 위협 중 하나이며, 탐지 우회 기법이 적용된 악성코드 유포 기술 또한 발전하고 있어, 이를 탐지하고 분석하는 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 기존의 악성코드 유포 웹페이지 탐지 시스템은 시그니처 기반이어서 난독화된 악성 자바스크립트는 탐지가 거의 불가능하며, 탐지 패턴을 지속적으로 업데이트해야 하는 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위해 지능화된 악성코드 유포 웹사이트를 효과적으로 분석 및 탐지할 수 있는 리얼 브라우저를 이용한 지능형 악성코드 유포 웹페이지 탐지 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

Design and Implementation of a Connected Car Platform Architecture for New ICT Convergence Services

  • In this paper, we propose a connected car platform architecture called Mobile Second for developing of verity convergence services. A Mobile Second platform architecture is designed to provide more powerful and diverse convergence services for vehicles and drivers by applying technologies of Connected Car and ICT Convergence in various ways. The Mobile Second platform is implemented by applying Tizen IVI and Android to hardware platforms for IVI, Nexcom's VTC1010 and Freescale's i.MX6q/dl respectively. The Mobile Second platform provides the driver with the vehicle's information via IVI devices, mobile devices and PCs, etc., and provides Vehicle Selective Gateway(VSG) and Vehicle Control Framework for the driver to control his/her vehicle, and also provides a web framework to enable the use of VSG's APIs for the monitoring and controlling the vehicle information in various mobile environments as well as IVI devices. Since the Mobile Second platform aims to create new variety of services for Connected Car, it includes service frameworks for Smart Care / Self diagonostics, Mood & Entertainment services, and Runtime, libraries and APIs needed for the development of related applications. The libraries given by the Mobile Second Platform provides both a native library for native application support and a Java Script-based library for web application support, minimizing the dependency on the platform and contributing the convenience of developers at the same time.

NutriSyn(식품어휘지능망): 웹 기반 식품.음식 유의어 지식 구축 및 검색 서비스 구현 (NutriSyn: Knowledge Based Synonym Retrieval Service for Food and Dishes on the Web)

  • Studies based on food analysis or food databases use the national standard food database. Although Internet information services are increasing gradually, users are only able to get definitive and profitable information using standard food terms. Until now, it has been uncommon to find food retrieval services that include users' regional or historical characteristics. Thus, this study introduces a prototype for Food and Dish Synonym Retrieval (NutriSyn) that includes synonyms and related words. The environments which NutriSyn was implemented were Linux for the server operating system, the Microsoft Windows series for the users' operating system and Apache for a web server. The development languages used are PHP, JavaScript and HTLM with a MySQL database. Users can access NutriSyn using Internet browsers. The main menu items are (1) Food Synonym DB, (2) Dish Synonym DB, (3) Food Information DB, (4) Dish Information DB, and (5) Food and Menu Synonym Retrieval. This system is expected to be a useful tool for food experts and interdisciplinary research.

초등학교 구강보건교육을 위한 코스웨어 개발 (Development of Wed-Based Courseware in Oral Health Education for Elementary School Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop game style courseware in oral health instruction for elementary school children. The manufacturing equipment and languages which were used to develop the courseware were: Photoshop version 7.0, Illustrator version 10.0, HTML, Dream Weaver MX, Editplus, CSS and Java - script. The data base was built up by using PHP and mySQL over Internet Explorer version 4.0. The contents of courseware for oral health education were based on the list of oral health affaires of the Department of Health and Welfare, 2002. The story of the game ‘Saving Hayani locked down in a castle of a cavity man’ was developed for the learners to learn oral health by inducing learning motivation. A character named ‘Chan i’ was introduced to the learners to be more friendly with the program while they were learning. As the game was made of three step education levels, the learner most pass the prepared test given at each step to advance to a higher level. A database connected to web was constructed to store the scores the learners earned at each step. In conclusion, the courseware will help the elementary school children learn oral health care efficiently through the internet regardless of time and space.

중.장년층의 성공적 노후를 위한 웹기반 노년기 준비 교육프로그램의 개발 (Development of a Web-based Senescence Preparation Education Program for Successful Aging for Middle-aged Adults)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a web-based senescence preparation education program to promote successful aging. Methods: This program was developed based on Network-Based Instructional System Design (NBISD) model, using the following 5 processes: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The program was operated for 10 weeks from March 17 to May 25, 2008. Results: There were 4 menu bars, introduction, related data, lecture room, and communication on the main page. In the operation of this program, HTML, ASP, JAVA Script, Namo web editor, Edit Plus, Front Page and multimedia technology were applied. The program content consisted of understanding elderly people, physical health, activity & exercise, nutrition, medication use, psychological health, intellectual health, understanding death, welfare system and leisure activity. Conclusion: This program could be a useful means to provide senescence preparation information to middle-aged adults. Also, it is expected to offer individualized learning opportunities to many learners in various settings. Nurses should further develop and facilitate various learning strategies including web-based programs for elder care.

  • 기존의 연구에 의하면 멀티미디어 시스템(Multimedia Systems)을 성공적으로 디자인하기 위해서는 다양한 관련분야의 전문가들 사이에 긴밀한 협력이 필요하다고 한다. 그러나, 그 전문가들은 서로 상이한 관점과 지식 체계를 가지고 있기 때문에 상호간 긴밀한 협력에 필수적인 지식을 공유하고 의견을 조율하는데 많은 어려움을 겪는다. 특히 최근 들어 멀티미디어 시스템 디자이너들이 가상의 팀(Virtual Team)을 형성하여 인터넷과 같은 컴퓨터 통신시스템을 활용함으로 해서 지식공유와 의견조율을 통한 협력은 한층 더 어렵게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하는 Designer's Cafe을 개발하는데 그 주요 목적을 두고 있다.

호스피스 자원봉사자를 위한 웹기반 학습프로그램 개발 및 효과분석 (Development and Evaluation of a Web-based Multimedia Content for the Education of Hospice Volunteers)

  • Objectives: This study was to develop and evaluate a web-based multimedia content for the education of hospice volunteers. Methods: The multimedia content was developed based on Baik's teaching and learning structure plan model. The developed program was evaluated by 24 hospice volunteer university students. Results: On main page, there were 4 menu bars that consisted of a lecture guide, cyber lecture, pause and quiz. In the operation of the web based multimedia content, HTML, Java Script, Photoshop and multimedia technology were utilized. There were significant differences in the test scores, before and after using this web-based learning program. After using a web-based learning program, scores of students were much higher. Conclusion: The developed web based program is based on systematic structure and it can provide hospice volunteers with the educational flexibilities and will be help for them to perform the more efficient hospice care.

XML을 이용한 Web 기반 공구정보 시스템 개발 (Development of Web Based Machining Tool Data System Using XML(eXtensible Markup Language))

  • With rapid growth of internet technology, companies have developed an information system such as the electronic catalog for product data in the E-Business. Due to the heuristic nature of the catalog search for proper tools in the specific process, the intelligent and user friendly methods residing in the search process give a comfortable environment even for the beginners in the field. In this paper, we develop a web based catalog for machining tools especially in Milling process. It has two distinct procedures for the users of the catalog; Search and Analysis. The Search is to select a proper cutter, insert, component combination in the developed relational database based on the cutting process and material. The Analysis is to suggest a recommended optimal cutting conditions based on the machining tools and selected materials. All of these procedures are stored in a server with a program based on the ASP and Java Script where the procedure is initiated by the client using the internet which is accessed through insert. With the success on implementing the above engineering database in the internet, we can provide the foundation for developing PDM with heuristic procedure.

웹을 기반으로 한 문서관리 코스웨어 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Document Management Courseware Based on the WBI)

  • 웹은 교육적 측면에서 볼 때 다른 기존의 매체보다 상호 작용성이 뛰어나고 보다 자유롭게 대량의 정보를 전달할 수 있다. 이와 같이 웹을 이용한 새로운 수업방식으로 하이퍼미디어를 기반으로 하는 교육적 프로그램을 WBI라고 한다. WBI에서의 강의는 멀티미디어적인 요소를 가미한 동영상 그림, 소리 등의 다양한 매체를 결합시켜 학습자의 학습의욕을 불러일으킨다. 또한 보완이 가능하며. 학습내용의 다양성으로 학습자의 창의력과 응용력을 길러주는 학습프로그램이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Courseware 가운데 인터넷 서비스 web을 기반으로 한 교수-학습 프로그램을 설계하였고 디자인은 Explorer 5.0에서 HTML, Java Script, Photo Shops5.0, Flash4.0, Gif Construction프로그램을 사용하여 텍스트, 이미지, 소리 등을 구현하였다.
