Satellite and aerial images are very useful means to monitor ecological and environmental situation. Nowadays more and more officials at Ministry of Environment in Korea need to access and use these image data through networks like internet or intranet. However it is very hard to manage and service these image data through internet or intranet, because of its size problem. In this paper very large image data service system for Ministry of Environment is constructed on web environment using image compression and web based image processing technology. Through this system, not only can officials in Ministry of Environment access and use all the image data but also can achieve several image processing effects on web environment. Moreover officials can retrieve attribute information from vector GIS data that are also integrated with the system.

Internet/Intranet has been continuously enhanced by new emerging IP technologies such as differentiate service(DiffServ), IPSec(IP Security) and MPLS(Multi-protocol Label Switching) traffic engineering. According to the increased demands of various real-time multimedia services, ISP(Internet Service Provider) should provide enhanced end-to-end QoS(quality of service) and security features. Therefore, Internet and Intranet need the management functionality of sophisticated traffic engineering functions. In this paper, we design and implement the performance management functionality for the guaranteed end-to-end QoS provisioning on MPLS-based VPLS(Virtual Private LAN Service). We propose VPLS OAM(Operation, Administration and Maintenance) for efficient performance management. We focus on a scheme of QoS management and measurement of QoS parameters(such as delay, jitter, loss, etc.) using VPLS OAM functions. The proposed performance management system also supports performance tuning to enhance the provided QoS by re-adjusting the bandwidth of LSPs for VPLS. We present the experimental results of performance monitoring and analysis using a network simulator.

현재 각급 학교의 하드웨어적인 인프라는 이미 충분히 구축되어 있으나, 이를 효율적으로 관리하고 활용할 소프트웨어적인 인프라 구축은 거의 이루어지고 있지 않다. 통신속도의 증속에 따른 장비 교체, 각 교실의 저속 사양의 컴퓨터를 최신 컴퓨터로 교체, 영상장치 교체 등의 하드웨어 장치가 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 그와 더불어 교육정보부에서는 이들 하드웨어 교체 및 유지 보수 등의 관리에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이와 같은 어려움은 매년 똑같이 반복되고 있으며, 교육정보부장의 잦은 교체에 따라 업무 인수인계도 원활히 이루어지고 있지 않다. 이에 본 논문에서는 교육정보부의 여러 자원들을 효율적으로 관리 할 수 있도록 교내에 인트라넷(Intranet)을 설계하고 구축하여 활용하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

This paper introduces some useful Java technologies for utilizing the Internet in numerical analysis, and suggests one architecture performing efficient numerical analysis in the Intranet by using them. The present work has verified it's possibility by implementing some parts of this architecture with two easy examples. One is based on Servlet-Applet communication, JDBC and Swing. The other is adding multi-threads, file transfer and Java Remote Method Invocation to the former. Through this work it has been intended to make the base for the later advanced and practical research that will include efficiency estimates of this architecture and deal with advanced load balancing.

인터넷의 기술은 인트라넷(Intranet), 익스트라넷(Extranet)이라는 이름으로 인터넷 기술을 활용한 기업 내 또는 기업간 네트워크 구성에 관한 연구들이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 인터넷의 개방성으로 인해서 인터넷은 보안성이 떨어지는 문제점을 가진다. 이를 극복하기 위해서 최근 많은 암호기반 보안 기술들이 개발되고 있다 대부분의 암호기반 보안 기술들은 전체네트워크 객체의 증명을 책임지는 공증 기관을 필요로 하는데, 이를 공중 사무소(Certification Authority)라 한다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷과 인트라넷의 취약한 부분을 보완하기 위한 최근의 암호기반 보안 기술과 그들 간의 상관관계를 파악한다 보안의 기초인 공증사무소의 구조 및 역할을 조사하고, 실제로 공증 사무소를 운영하기 위한 점검 사항 및 운영 규칙 등을 제시한다. 또한, 공증 사무소에 필요한 소프트웨어를 구현한다.

Recently a multi-attribute structure analysis method is one of the evident areas of important points in the decision support system analysis. This research developed an internet/intranet-based solution builder for a three-step decision support system using fuzzy-AHP in the view of 1) brainstorming far the idea generation, 2) fuzzy-AHP (fuzzy analytic hierarchy process) as a multi-attribute structured analysis method and 3) aggregation logic model to integrate the results of individual analysis. We applied this decision support system to the make-or-buy decision problem for school foodservice system considering the multi-attributes in the decision making. A computer program is developed and demonstrated it internet/intranet-based decision problem. It was known that this solution builder provides decision makers a good tool for mate-of-buy group decision making.

In recent years, Internet/Intranet represents the next generation of computing environment. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate WWW((World Wide Web) over internet/intranet and DBMS(Database Management System) in proportion to the increase of various users' request and an amount of data variety. Also, also full variety of service over WWW need to accomplish rapidly modification of bug and make a betterment of system according to a feature of rapid change of information and an importance of interaction with users. The typical CGI method commonly used to connect with database has a disadvantage in time and resources in system due to frequent connection with database. Therefore, this paper provides the conceptual structure and implementation of information management system over WWW with applying a recent information technology called ASP(Active Server Pages) that controls and arranges client logic dynamically in server-side and introducing a concept of working group and folder to database design.

CERN에서 1992년 웹이 발표된 이후 기업내 정보 환경에 많은 변화중 가장 두드러진 부분이 인트라넷/익스트라넷 환경으로 대표되는 기업내 정보시스템이다. 이 환경을 통하여 수많은 사용자에게 내부의 정보를 지역과 클라이언트에 관계없이 제공하고 있으므로 기업내 데이터베이스를 연동하는 것이 중요한 비중을 차지했다. 그러나 과거의 기술로는 데이터베이스 연동시 상태정보를 지속적으로 유지할 수 없었고, 이로 인해 웹을 통한 서버와 다수의 클라이언트의 공동 작업 수행시 데이터에 대한 일관성 관리할 수 없었다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 웹과 데이터베이스의 연동을 사용하여 지속적인 상태유지를 가능하게 하고 여기에서 발생하는 공유데이터에 대한 일관성 유지를 기존 낙관적 병행제어 알고리즘인 후진(Backward) 및 전지(Foreword) 방법 대신 실시간 공유데이터의 공동작업에 적합한 점증적 갱신 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 방법은 검증단계에서 충돌연산으로 인한 재시작을 줄이며, 사전에 불필요한 재시작을 방지하는 방법으로 자료갱신시 다른 클라이언트들에게 변경을 통보하며, 무효화 작업을 각 클라이언트에서 수행함으로써 서버의 부하를 줄일 수 있다.

The area of business applications in the internet are extended enormously in result of fast development of computing and communication technologies, increase of internet use, and use of intranet/extranet in enterprise information system. Widely spread the use of the internet, there are various applications for Business to Business (B to B) or Business to Customer(B to C) model that are based on the intranet or extranet. This paper designed and implemented the Web-based Electronic Bidding System for Business to Business (B to B) model. The technical issues of electronic bidding system in the internet are involved in the connection between web client and server, electronic data interchange for the contract document, and security solution during the bidding and contracting processes. The web-based electronic bidding system in this paper is implemented using Java applet and servlet as a connection interface for web client and server, XML/EDI-based documents for a bid and a contract, and bidding server and notary server for enhancing the security using PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)-based public key cryptography, digital signature and Certification Authority(CA).

본 논문은 최근 다양한 인터넷 활용 기법을 적용하여 국한된 사무자동화에 대한 업무의 효율적 향상을 위해 많은 노력을 아끼지 않고 있다. 이에 대한 본 논문은 웹 관리 시스템 설계 및 구현을 바탕으로 기업 내 업무의 효율성을 기하기 위해, 인트라넷 구축과 이를 웹 기반 시스템으로 업무를 연장시켜 기업의 생산적인 이익을 창출하기 위한 전자상거래 시스템으로 구현함을 제시하고, 그에 따른 보안문제와 기업업무 적용차원에서 타당성을 분석하였다.
