Objectives: Many fields have changed since covid-19, psychotherapy being no exception. With the pandemic associated increase in untact treatment, interest in virtual reality exposure therapy has also increased. The aim of study was to analyze recent literature using virtual reality therapy for the treatment of anxiety disorders. Methods: We searched five databases from dates between October 1 to November 1, 2020. We selected articles related to the treatment of anxiety disorders using virtual reality therapy and analyzed the trend of that, not thesis but domestic articles. Results: There were 6 RCT studies and 3 were case reports where, based on the DSM-4, the participants presented with anxiety disorders including 2 with presentation anxiety, 1 heterosexual anxiety, 1 test anxiety, 1 social anxiety, 1 dental anxiety, 2 Acrophobia, and 1 social phobia. Treatment sessions varied from 1 session to 18 sessions, but 5 studies conducted 4 sessions, and all studies attempted virtual reality exposure for 30-minute time periods. 8 studies used HMD as the VR device and 1 study did not report a device. Conclusions: Anxiety disorders treated using virtual reality included speech anxiety and acrophobia. Median treatment session number was 4 and sessions were less than 30 minutes. The most common VR device used was an HMD. VR psychotherapy showed limitations relating to patient experience including cyber sickness and a lack of immersion. In addition, most of the studies were conducted with patients who visited hospitals utilizing Western medical practices. Currently, virtual reality therapy (VRT) intervention in oriental medicine is lacking. The lack of research in this area suggests analyzing data from VR psychotherapy in oriental medicine could provide novel and useful information.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data on the thera-tainment intervention method and to relieve dysmenorrhea by identifying the effects of silver spike point therapy on menstrual pain, muscle tone, and muscle stiffness among 30 women in their 20s. The subjects had a regular menstrual cycle, had a visual analog scale score of more than 4 for dysmenorrhea pain, and did not have any gynecological disease. SSP therapy was applied for 20 minutes on San-Yin-Jiao on the first day of their menstrual cycles. Muscle tone and stiffness were measured with Myoton before treatment, immediately after treatment, and 3 hours after treatment. SPSS version 19 was used to analyze the collected data. Using Friedman test, muscle tone and stiffness were measured before treatment, immediately after treatment, and 3 hours after treatment. The results indicate that after treatment dysmenorrhea pain steadily decreased and muscle tension and stiffness decreased significantly. This shows that using SSP therapy is effective on reducing primary dysmenorrhea and improving women's health care. This shows that using SSP therapy is effective at reducing primary dysmenorrhea and improving women's health care.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to review the recent clinical studies on Korean medicine for treatment of eating disorders. Methods: We searched clinical studies that verified the effectiveness of Korean medicine for the treatment of eating disorders. The search was done in 9 databases (Korean, Chinese, and English databases) from January 2016 to August 2023. Results: A total of 10 articles were retrieved. The articles were classified based on the type of study design: 1 database study, 2 case series, and 7 case reports. Among the articles, in 4 articles, acupuncture was used as a treatment intervention for bulimia nervosa, and in 6 articles herbal medicine was used as a treatment intervention for anorexia nervosa. The most frequent pattern identification was 'Liver qi depression', the most composed herb was 'Root of Glycyrrhiza uralensis (甘草)', and the most used acupoints were CV12 and SP6. All the studies showed positive results. Conclusions: Korean medicine for eating disorders treatments might be effective. However, the quality of evidence in the selected studies was low, and there was no comparison of the treatment effects using objective diagnostic tools. For more accurate results, systematically designed clinical studies using objective diagnostic tools should be conducted.

Coronary Intervention treatment has become the core that is the test of cardiac catheterization to conduct treatment with Coronary Arteriography. Operators must be careful in Coronary Intervention treatment because the stent is inserted into the point of narrowing of blood vessel. So, the operator must correctly recognize the path of blood vessel to deal with the problems which are damages and ruptures of blood vessel, and there would be some errors of finding the path of blood vessel by bad qualify of the image. Therefore in this paper, median filtering is conducted by preprocessing to evaluate the performance of the effect of noise of the image that affects quality of the image and Fuzzy Edge Extraction Techniques is tested by using Soble Edge Extraction Techniques to compare the performance with The Fuzzy Edge Extraction Techniques. In result, the performance, removing the noise and extracting the signal of Fuzzy Edge Extraction Techniques using median filtering, demonstrates the superiority.

PURPOSE: This study compares the effects of HUBER rehabilitation and general rehabilitation treatment on the coordination, balance, and walking ability of stroke patients. METHODS: This study enrolled 38 randomized stroke patients, and data was collected for 6 weeks. All participants were randomly assigned to either the experimental group (n = 19) or control group (n = 19). The experimental group were administered Huber rehabilitation and general rehabilitation treatment. The control group was given only general rehabilitation treatment. Both treatments were conducted for 30 minutes during each training session, 3 training sessions per week, for 6 weeks. The coordination, balance, and walking ability were evaluated before and after the intervention, to compare the intergroup and intragroup changes. RESULTS: Change in the right LOS (limit of stability) (p < .001) and forward LOS (p < .02) following intervention were significantly greater in the experimental group than in the control group, but no significant group difference was observed between left LOS (p > .1) and backward LOS (p > .2). Alterations in coordination (p < .02) and TUG (p <. 05) were significantly greater after intervention in the experimental group than in the control group. CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that HUBER rehabilitation is effective in improving the coordination, balance, and walking ability in stroke patients. To strengthen and validate the results of this study, future studies related to HUBER rehabilitation are required.

Purpose: Bullying is a global problem, and various programs are under way to prevent it. The purpose of this study was to review school bullying interventions for Korean school-age children and adolescents. Methods: Online databases such as RISS, KISS, DBpia, NDSL and KMBASE were searched, identifying 32 intervention studies published from January 2009 to November 2018. Results: Thirty-two intervention studies were identified: 23 included school bullying prevention and 9 included school bullying treatment for victims or youth at high risk for bullying. The main purpose of preventive intervention was to decrease the bystander's attitude toward group bullying and treatment program was to improve the psychosocial adaptation of bullying victims. The school bullying interventions varied from group counseling, social skills training, art therapy, bibliotherapy using role-play, game & activities. Classroom environment variables and self-esteem, peer-related variables improved significantly after the school bullying prevention programs and school bullying treatment programs, respectively. Conclusion: There is potential for enhancing the outcomes of the behavioral, interpersonal psychological variable. Integrated interventions considering the individuality, gender and physical health of children and adolescents will also be needed. However, a rigorous study design is required to compensate for the methodological limitations.
Although there have been several attempts to use virtual reality (VR) in the treatment of depression, the results have been inconsistent and existing studies have mostly relied on subjective measures to assess the effectiveness of VR in improving depression. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of nature experience-based VR intervention on depressive symptoms in a young population using both subjective and objective measurements. The study population included 15 participants who had more than 14 identifiers of the Korean Beck Depression Inventory (K-BDI)-II. Participants received three weeks (four times per week) of VR intervention. The effectiveness of VR was assessed through changes in K-BDI-II scores and depression-related blood biomarkers. Nature experience-based VR intervention led to an approximately 50% reduction of K-BDI-II score (before 25.7±7.7 vs. after 12.5±8.3 (P<0.001)). Of these, loss of pleasure and fatigue showed the largest amount of improvement. However, levels of cortisol, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, and interleukin-6 did not differ from those at baseline. The findings of our pilot study suggest that nature experience-based VR can be a useful adjunctive treatment method for improving depressive symptoms in individuals who have difficulty accessing the real outside natural environment.
The practice of oral surgery or other dentistry possesses the danger of causing the loss of foreign bodies used within the oral cavity. If such foreign bodies would be lost, they could enter the viscera through the esophagus or tracheobroncheal tree. Ingestion is four times as frequent as aspiration and 80% to 90% of ingested foreign bodies will pass through the body spontaneously. Once the aspiration or ingestion of foreign bodies is happened, a dental procedure should be discontinued immediately. If symptoms of respiratory distress, including coughing, wheezing, or stridor, are present, a patent airway should be maintained, oxygen administered, and ventilation supported if necessary. The PA chest radiograph will identify the objects in the lung, esophagus, or stomach. Ingested gastrointestinal foreign bodies may be managed by observation, endoscopy, and or surgical intervention and aspirated tracheobroncheal foreign bodies may be managed by bronchoscopy, and or surgical intervention. This case report describes the management of ingested or aspirated foreign bodies happened to the three patients during intraoral treatment. we recommend that the preventive method of ingestion or aspiration of the dental foreign bodies should be performed prior to intraoral treatment and the immedieate measures should be carried out after ingestion or asipiration of it.
In this study, the effects of the small group collaborative learning on students' achievement, the retention of the achievement, communication anxiety, and science learning motivation were investigated. The aptitude-treatment interaction between the level of students' self-directed learning ability and the intervention was also examined. Two classes (38 students) from an elementary school were respectively assigned to a control group and a treatment group. A self-directed learning ability test, a communication anxiety test, and a science learning motivation test were administered as pretests. The intervention lasted for 8 class periods. After instruction, an achievement test, the communication anxiety test, and the science learning motivation test were administered. An achievement retention test were also administered after four weeks. The results indicated that there were significant treatmentaptitude interaction effects in the achievement test scores and the achievement retention test scores. In the communication anxiety and the science learning motivation, however, any significant difference was not found between the scores of the treatment group and the control group. Educational implications are discussed.
