영구정전과 순간전압강하를 고려한 신뢰도 비용 평가 (Evaluation of Reliability Worth Considering Sustained Interruptions and Voltage Sags)

  • 과거에는 순간전압강하(Sag)나 고조파(Harmonics)와 같은 순간전력품질 문제가 부하에 큰 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 최근 컴퓨터와 같은 마이크로 프로세서를 이용하는 민감부하의 사용 증가로 인하여 전력품질에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 이에 따라 현재까지 영구정전(Sustained Interruption)에 초점을 맞추고 일부 순간정전(Momentary Interruption)을 포함하여 진행되어 온 배전계통 신뢰도 연구 분야는 새로운 전환점을 맞이하고 있다. 즉, 전력품질문제로 인하여 많은 민감기기들이 트립(Trip)되어 신뢰도 비용이 발생하기 때문에, 전력품질을 고려하지 않은 신뢰도 비용평가는 그 정확도가 떨어질 수밖에 없는 실정에 있다. 본 논문에서는 배전계통 사고 시 이 사고를 제거하기 위해 사용된 리클로져에 의해 발생하는 순간전압강하를 고려하였다. 기존의 영구정전에 의한 신뢰도 비용과 순간전압강하에 의해 트립되는 기기들의 신뢰도 비용을 포함하는 개선된 배전계통 신뢰도 비용 평가 기법을 제안하였다.

  • Because the physics occurring during an interruption process is not well known, it is not easy to analyze the characteristics of a self-blast circuit breaker neither theoretically nor experimentally. Fortunately the available computational power and the numerical method improved recently make it possible to predict an interruption process as precisely and fast as possible. Therefore many researches using computational methods have been done for the interruption process of interrupters and applied to extend the information such as thermal and dielectric reignition. In this paper, we have simulated the interruption process of SF6 self-blast circuit breakers with the arc plasma during the fault interruption of a 10 kA current. The CFD program used here is coupled with the electromagnetic field analysis, the radiation model and the effects of turbulence. Through this work, we have get further information about the thermal performance as well as the behavior of the arc. The results have been compared with the measured arc voltage.

단일루프 배전계통과 방사상 배전계통의 순간정전을 고려한 신뢰도 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study for Reliability of Single and Radial Power Distribution System considering Momentary Interruption)

  • The structure of a power distribution system will change in a loop configuration such as in the case of a smart grid. If power distribution system changes radial to loop form, the structure may have to be changed significantly. Therefore, we analyzed the reliability indices and calculated a CIC(Customer Interruption Cost) for the loop power distribution system. The power distribution system reliability depends on the protection scheme. This study is applied to the current protection scheme method and is compared with each model. When the CIC was evaluated, most studies performed calculations only for sustained interruptions. However, in actuality, momentary interruption frequencies occurred more than sustain interruptions. Thus, it is occurred the CIC additively. Therefore, we evaluated a CIC including momentary interruption, for each model, and then compared with MAIFI(Momentary Average Interruption Frequency Index)

  • This paper presents the results of an investigation and assessment of the direct short term impacts of electric service interruption incurred by livestock customers. The study used a direct visit survey to determine the customer assessment of electric service interruption and characteristic. The variation in interruption cost with the characteristics of interruptions such as duration, time of day, frequency, and day of interruption was also investigated.

  • As the power industry moves towards open competition, there has been a call for methodology to evaluate power system reliability by using customer interruption costs. This paper presents an evaluation of interruption costs by industrial customer type in Korea using customer survey methodology When various research results are examined, the customer damage survey methodology becomes much more generalized. Especially, in the case of industrial customers, it is known that the evaluation by customer damage survey is more useful. Accordingly, this paper selected the customer damage survey method to evaluate interruption costs by industrial customer type in Korea considering interruption and customer characteristics.

여성의 경력단절과 육아휴직 제도와의 관계 (Determinants of Female-salaried Workers' Career Interruption)

  • 본 연구에서는 기혼여성 가운데 임금근로자를 대상으로 노동시장에서의 경력단절 결정요인을 실증 분석하였다. 여성 임금근로자가 노동시장에서 최초 경력단절을 경험했는지에 대한 여부를 개인의 특성과 일자리 특성 등을 고려하여 최초 경력단절을 결정하는 요인들을 분석하고자 하였다. 실증 분석결과에 따르면, 여성 근로자의 노동시장 이탈결정에 중요한 요인은 근로자가 속한 사업체가 여성의 출산과 육아로 인한 부담을 실제로 얼마나 고려하는 지가 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 사업체 내 출산휴가 혹은 육아휴직이 있는 경우 여성 근로자의 경력단절은 현저히 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

Instant Messaging Usage and Interruptions in the Workplace

  • The goal of the present study is to explore IM interruption by relating it to media choices and purposes of IM use in the workplace. Two major media choice concepts were: media richness and social influence; while four purposes of IM use were: organization work, knowledge work, socializing, and boundary spanning activities. Data (N = 283) were collected via a combination of convenience and snowball sampling of "computer-using workers" in Taiwan, based on the Standard Occupational Classification system published by the Taiwan government. Results indicated that media choice works better than purpose of IM use to explain IM interruption. Among them, social influence was the best predictor to IM interruption in the workplace. In addition, instant feedback and personalization provided by IM, and IM usage for the purposes of knowledge work and socializing, also relate to IM interruption in the workplace.

  • The flow analysis is needed to verify the physical phenomena through interruption processes for improving the capacity and the reliability of gas circuit breakers. Moreover the small current interruption performance of GCBs could be predicted by coupling the flow characteristics with the electric field one. In this paper, the unsteady flow characteristics and the traveling trajectory are depicted with a commercial CFD code, PHOENICS, programmed for moving motion of objects. In order to validate computational results, the measured pressure data in cylinder and in front of arcing contact are compared with the test results of small current interruption.

Investigation and Analysis of Interruption Characteristics for Industrial Customers

  • Electric power is an important element in any modern economy. The availability of a reliable power supply at a reasonable cost is important for the economic growth and development of a country. Electric power utilities throughout the world therefore strive to meet customer demands economically with high quality and reliability. As the power industry moves towards open competition, therefore, there has been a call for a methodology by which to evaluate power system reliability through the use of customer interruption characteristics. This paper presents the results of an investigation and analysis of interruption characteristics of an industrial customer in Korea. This study used a direct visit survey to determine the investigation and analysis of electric service quality and the characteristics of industrial customers in Korea. A customer survey conducted throughout Korea via personal interviews of 660 sample customers is presented here. Variation according to characteristics of interruption such as duration, time of day, frequency and day of interruption was also investigated
