Magnetic resonance neurography (MRN) is increasingly used to visualize peripheral nerves in vivo. However, the implementation and interpretation of MRN in the brachial and lumbosacral plexi are challenging because of the anatomical complexity and technical limitations. The purpose of this article was to review the clinical context of MRN, describe advanced magnetic resonance (MR) techniques for plexus imaging, and list the general categories of utility of MRN with pertinent imaging examples. The selection and optimization of MR sequences are centered on the homogeneous suppression of fat and blood vessels while enhancing the visibility of the plexus and its branches. Standard 2D fast spin-echo sequences are essential to assess morphology and signal intensity of nerves. Moreover, nerve-selective 3D isotropic images allow improved visualization of nerves and multiplanar reconstruction along their course. Diffusion-weighted and diffusion-tensor images offer microscopic and functional insights into peripheral nerves. The interpretation of MRN in the brachial and lumbosacral plexi should be based on a thorough understanding of their anatomy and pathophysiology. Anatomical landmarks assist in identifying brachial and lumbosacral plexus components of interest. Thus, understanding the varying patterns of nerve abnormalities facilitates the interpretation of aberrant findings.

This study aimed to propose appropriate methods of statistical analysis and interpretation of survey results in dental hygiene. By using examples of published articles in the Journal of Dental Hygiene Science from 2003 to 2008, we made some suggestions to improve scientific and clear writing of the contents; purpose of the study, subjects and methods, statistical analysis, tables, and interpretations.

Coherence and relevaned concern the ways in which discouse is interpreted.In this inversigation, the notions of coherence and relevance are discussed with examples in which they account for discourse interpretation and Charolles's(1983)procedural model of coherence is compared and combined with Sperber & Wilson's(1986a)Principle of Relevance. It is shown that the notion of coherence is not adeqiately established, but that the procedural approach will be a bridge between the prinxiples of coherence and relevance, each of which still remainas to be enriched and completed.

This paper explores the upper and lower contexts of the literature, and examines the meaning that the context intends to say and the era indicated by '古'. This not only helps to objectively and concretely recognize and interpret the "old" era, it can also be used to dig deeper into the meaning of the literature. In particular, such research is expected to play an even greater role in the literature that needs to clarify historical facts. '古' can be specified differently depending on the literature. In this paper, in particular, focusing on this point, in order to examine more closely how the periodic interpretation of '古' was done, the interpretation and usage examples of '古' were intensively examined. Notable items in the meaning of '古' are the meanings of beginning, ancestor, always, forever, and so on. In particular, in historical literature, the first beginning of civilization was viewed as 'old'. It is emphasized that the age of pay wages is viewed as the "old" at the base point.

This work presents an agenda-based approach to improve the robustness of the dialog manager by using dialog examples and n-best recognition hypotheses. This approach supports n-best hypotheses in the dialog manager and keeps track of the dialog state using a discourse interpretation algorithm with the agenda graph and focus stack. Given the agenda graph and n-best hypotheses, the system can predict the next system actions to maximize multi-level score functions. To evaluate the proposed method, a spoken dialog system for a building guidance robot was developed. Preliminary evaluation shows this approach would be effective to improve the robustness of example-based dialog modeling.

This paper interprets the Seongho/s ergonomec philosophy in terms of contemporary view of ergonomics, which appears in 'ichuck' of Seongho Sasul written in 1760's. The content of Jichuck is largely composed of three parts such as the proportions of human body dimensions, numerical examples, and the principles and method of clothes edsign. Some parts of human body proportions are tested and compared with Woodson's criteria and anthropometric data suggested by Korea Standards Research Institute in 1986. Concludingly, it is revealed that the ancient Seongho's ergonomic philosophy is regarded as apporopriate, and 'saji(4 fingers width)' is more reasonable for criterion of human body proportions.

As a measure of the center of data, arithmetical mean, median, mode, harmonic mean and geometric mean are generally used. Students must learn qualitative aspect of average values as well as its calculation for its adequate use. As the result of the learning, they should be able to select the appropriate average value according to the characteristic of data and problem context. For this object, the historical origin and visual interpretation of average values were introduced in this paper. And to help teaching several meanings of average values, several examples including context were suggested.

This paper is to propose two computation procedures of reliability measures for large interval data. First method is efficient to verify the relationship among four reliability measures such as F(t), R(t), f(t) and $\lambda(t)$. Another method is effective to interpret the concept of various reliability measures. This study is also to reinterpret and recompute the errors of four reliability measures discovered in the reliability textbooks. Various numerical examples are presented to illustrate the application of two proposed procedures.

Close examination of previous constraints on bound anaphora that are designed to directly constrain the distribution of referentially dependent(RD) items shows that no universal structural relation may exist that relates RD items to their antecedents. As an alternative to these constraints, this paper proposes an axiom of semantic interpretation, called the Principle of Referential Autonomy, which dispenses with any pretheoretical notion of grammatical functions or configurational notion like c-command. Together with certain English-specific facts, this principle enables us to infer the ungrammaticality of core examples of strong and weak crossover.
