With the advent of smart devices, users are able to connect to each other through the Internet without the constraints of time and space. Because the Internet has become increasingly important to users in their everyday lives, reliance on it has grown. As a result, the number of web sites constantly increases and the competition between these sites becomes more intense. Even those sites that operate successfully struggle to establish new strategies for customer retention and customer development in order to survive. Many companies use various customer information in order to establish marketing strategies based on customer group segmentation A method commonly used to determine the customer groups of individual sites is to infer customer characteristics based on the customers' demographic information. However, such information cannot sufficiently represent the real characteristics of customers. For example, users who have similar demographic characteristics could nonetheless have different interests and, therefore, different buying needs. Hence, in this study, customers' interests are first identified through an analysis of their Internet news inquiry records. This information is then integrated in order to identify each web category. The study then analyzes the possibilities for the practical use of the proposed methodology through its application to actual Internet news inquiry records and web site browsing histories.
This study was to examine the needs among elementary school dietitians (n = 115) for developing a nutrition information internet site for children. A survey questionnaire included general characteristics, internet use regarding health and nutrition information, and needs for developing a nutrition information site. The mean age of the subjects was 36.2 years. The higher working experience group (> 10 years of working as dieticians) had higher mean age (p < 0.001), had a larger number of enrolled students at school (p < 0.01) and the number of those receiving school lunch (p < 0.01) than the counterparts (${\le}10$ years group). Sources of health and nutrition information were mainly PC/internet (60.4%) and seminar (14.4%). About 95% used health or nutrition information using the internet, however, the majority of users (71.6%) used internet information only when they needed it. Major reasons for using internet information was 'to get nutrition education materials' (63.8%) and 'to obtain general nutrition information' (21%). One third of the subjects were satisfied with nutrition information internet sites; major problems with internet sites were 'lack of content' (38.9%) and 'lack of practical information' (33%). These characteristics regarding internet use were not different between work experience groups. Major problems with nutrition education were 'lack of nutrition educational materials' (41.1 %) and 'lack of nutrition education skills' (32.1%). These were significantly different between the work experience groups (p < 0.01). Subjects preferred CD/internet to leaflet/booklet as nutrition educational materials. In developing nutrition sites for children, subjects wanted topics such as obesity assessment, dietary assessment, and obesity. Subjects responded that contents of nutrition information should be 'suitable to the children's knowledge levels' (31.1%), 'interesting enough by including quizzes, games and songs' (27.8%), 'inserting many illustrations/icons' (16.3%). In terms of designing internet sites for children, they wanted that internet sites should 'be easy enough to find the sites' (29.2%), 'use illustrations and characters' (24.8%), 'use communication channels such as Q&A' (18.7%). Needs for developing internet sites for children were not different by the work experience group. This study suggests that web sites for children should be carefully developed considering the contents and design, have less information with more illustrations, designed to induce the interest of children, as well as including sections such as eating habit assessment and games.
Since the general quality of life has been improving, people have become interested in "well-being." The widespread acceptance of the importance of "well-being" to quality of life has encouraged people to take more interest in getting health information online when they need it. Expansive use of online health information suggests that individual characteristics (i.e., gender and other traits), Website features, and perceived trust are related to the primary concern for many online health information consumers. This study examines whether familiarity, perceived security, and reputation of health information on various Websites influence the relationship of trust and intention to use by gender. These research results will contribute to the adoption of online health information by gender and, moreover, will provide companies with an understanding of key characteristics of consumers who use emoticons and provide useful implications for marketing strategies to current and future consumers.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine teenagers' Internet addiction and to find factors influencing it. Methods: Data were collected from 596 middle and high school students between June 1 and June 20, 2009 with a self-rating questionnaire. The data were processed with SPSS/WIN 12.0. Results: (1) 20.3% of the students were spending over three hours a day in Internet use. The percentages of mild and serious Internet addiction were 22.3 and 2.1, respectively. (2) The stronger Internet addiction was, the higher stress was and the lower social support was. There was a negative correlation between stress and social support (r=-.296, p<.01). There was also a positive correlation between Internet addiction and stress (r=.264, p<.01) while a negative correlation between Internet addiction and social support (r=-.127, p<.01). (3) Among the subjects' characteristics, sex, school and family type, frequency of processed food intake, average daily Internet use hour and sleeping hour, subjective health perception, and satisfaction level with parents and family made difference in the Internet addiction level. Conclusion: The result of this study will provide useful background data for the selection of target population, stress management and social support promotion programs to prevent teenagers' Internet addiction.

Therefore it is very natural to use mobile phones to do shopping through wireless internet easily and conveniently whilst on the move. The purpose of this research is to find out characteristics of mobile phone users in UK, Japan and Korea and 1) main aims of the mobile phone use, 2) reasons for ease of use of mobile phones, 3) favourite types of a mobile phone, 4) psychological stability of mobile phone users, 5) problems of mobile phone use, 6) purchase goods/services via mobile phone in the future. The research method used is questionnaire survey The research results will suggest how to take actions to promote mobile commerce in the future.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of digital literacy, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use on Internet users' online purchase intention in Palestine, as well to examine the moderating effect of Internet users' socioeconomic characteristics - age and gender on the relationships between digital literacy and online purchase intention. An extended technology acceptance model (TAM) by including digital literacy was applied in this research. The study applied a quantitative method, where 400 respondents participated in a questionnaire. The collected data was tested against the research framework using the partial least squares (SEM-PLS) method. The findings indicate that digital literacy has a significant effect on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and online purchase intention; there is a significant effect of perceived usefulness on online purchase intention, but not perceived ease of use. On the other hand, socioeconomic variables demonstrate that neither age nor gender moderates the relationship between digital literacy and online purchase intention; in short, age and gender do not condition the intention of the Internet user.

With the development of information and Internet technology, traditional museums have been long followed the trend of integrating innovative technological elements into the changed museums. It is necessary that the museums seize the opportunity of the trend transforming into smart museums, the key is to grasp the characteristics and laws of the Internet era, and use Internet thinking to explore the future development path. However, there are few studies on Internet thinking among the existing results. On the other hand, most of the relevant actual case studies still focus on the micro-level, which has obvious limitations. This paper will start from the current situation and trend, focus on the Palace Museum as a case study object, and discuss the problems and characteristics, so as to put forward the thinking about the development of smart museums in four aspects to explore the optimal path of transformation for smart museums.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of internet usage among 5th and 6th grade of elementary school children and to elucidate the path model and the relative effects of various factors on internet addiction in the internet addiction tendency group. According to our results, the normal internet user group exhibit higher educational levels in fathers, secure attachment to mother, and warm friendship when compared to the internet addiction tendency group. At the same time, internet addiction group exhibit longer internet use time, a greater numbers of avatars in use, and higher avatars decoration costs. The research model suggested here was supported by the results. Attachment to mother appears to affect friendship which in turn affects avatars image decoration needs and avatars identification which in turn then has an impact upon internet addiction tendency. These results were then discussed in relation to previous research and theories.
In this study, 1 have analyzed the state of the use of information technology by the at-risk children who are residing in Husan metropolitan area. The ultimate goal of this study is to help ensure the healthy development of the children and improve the quality of their lives in this information-oriented society. For this research, 1 surveyed 183 children living in an institution or a low-income family in Busan metropolitan area. The survey questionnaire was designed to obtain information on the respondents, socio-demographic characteristics, computer-related conditions of the immediate and social environments, patterns of computer and Internet use, their experience and degree of so called, Net-generation syndrome, Internet addiction disorder, changes in social and familial life caused by Internet use, and exposure to pornographic materials. The results show that 95.9 % of at-risk children in Husan own a computer, 60.9 % of those computers being Pentium Ⅲ. A majority of the children (74.9 %) are connected to Internet at a high-speed, using such devices as LAN, ADSL or cables. About seventy-six percent of the children have used a PC and Internet less than two years. In other words, a majority of them have not used those for a long period of time. The main results of the research are summarized in the following: There is a significant difference among at-risk children in terms of experiences in computer and Internet use according to their grade levels. There is a gender difference in the amount of time spent on computer and Internet. Boys spend more time every week on computer and Internet than girls do. There is a significant difference in the pattern of computer and Internet use, according to the type of their risk, and grade level. The so-called 'Net Generation Syndrome' is not serious in this group. A majority of the at-risk children think that Internet is more interesting than TV. They hardly shop on Internet, and they don think the advertisements on Internet are a serious problem. Also, unlike many people assumptions, their desire to communicate through on-line chatting was very low. They do not tend to buy computer game programs, and Internet Addiction Disorder was not pronounced among them. The at-risk children rarely had an exposure to pornographic materials in the cyber space. However, the exposure was more frequent for institutionalized children than children in low-income families. These results point to a need for a policy to improve the welfare of at-risk children and guarantee their right to information.

Objectives: To identify the relationship between the internet addition of elementary school students, and their health behavior and VDT syndrome, and thereby to detect the impact of internet addiction on the health behavior of elementary school students, to get the basic information necessary to develop a prevention program for internet addiction and to plan for VDT syndrome prevention program. Methods: We conducted this study during the period from jun 27, 2007 through July 8, 2007. The subjects of this study were 416 children whose grades were in 4th through 6th grades of elementary schools located in the city A in Kyung Pook Providence. Data were obtained from self-rating questionnaires. The questionnaires were composed of Korean Internet Addiction Self-examination on Internet Use Patterns (K-scale), Health Behavior Profile, VDT Syndrome, and general characteristics. We used t-test, AVOVA with Ducan method for Post-hoc comparison in means comparison between groups, $X^2$-test for frequency analysis and Pearson's correlation coefficient. We used SPSS/PC(12.0 ver) program and the LISREL 8.53 Win program for covariance structural analysis. Results: Major results were as follows. 1. The internet addiction propensity distribution based on the distribution of scores were investigated according to the self diagnosis scale on internet addiction. 6.5% of them were high risk user group, 14.4% were potential risk users and 79.1% of them were common user groups. 2. Internet addictions by sex, internet use duration, frequency (days/week), time(hours/day), purpose, position, brightness of internet, attitude of parents and frequency of conversation of family members were statistically significant(p<0.01). 3. There was a statistically significant difference in VDT syndrome according to internet addiction groups(p<0.001) besides ocular symptoms, dry mouth and GI troubles. 4. The health behavior score was the lowest in high risk user group(p<0.001). There were significant differences between internet addiction groups in personal hygiene and habits of daily living(p<.002), the prevention of accidents(p<.002), the practice concerned with the prevention of infectious disease(p=.002), and mental health(p<.001). 5. There was also a significant negative correlation between internal addiction and health profile(r=-0.365, p<0.01) and a significant positive correlation between internal addiction and VDT syndrome(r=0.331, p<0.01). 6. As the result of structural model analysis, internet use time(/day), days of internet use(/1week), conversation frequency among family members, degree of brightness of internet use had significant direct effects on internet addiction. Conclusions: The results will help the development of an effective intervention program for the prevention and treatment of internal addiction by clarifying the effect of the internal addiction upon elementary school students' VDT syndrome and health behavior.
