장 폴 고티에(Jean Paul Gaultier) 의상디자인에 나타난 관능미 연구 - 영화 "제5원소"를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Voluptuous Beauty Represented on Jean Paul Gaultier's Fashion Design - Mainly the Movie ${\ulcorner}$The 5th Element${\lrcorner}$ -)

  • Jean Paul Gaultier, debuted in 1970's and referred to as a bad boy in Paris fashion industry with his abnormal and ingenious ideas such as skirts for men, underwear outfit, etc, is a leading fashion designer. This study nay find its meaning from the fact that this study defines how the voluptuous beauty, one of the figurative beauties inherent in Jean Paul Gaultier's design, expresses in the movie costume and understands the world of the designer's fashion to provide a foundation to fashion designers who are looking for a new area where they can actively involve in. For the study, the 'The Fifth Element (1997)', in which the voluptuous beauty, Jean Paul Gaultier's representative figurative beauty, is fully revealed, and also it is his latest movie he participated in as costume designer, was selected and costume design is analyzed using DVD screen capture program. Also, this study reviewed his design with his collections from 1997 when he was invited to Haute Couture and began to actively perform his works down to date and also referred to numerous materials, fashion magazines, movie magazines, Internet data and etc. From the results of analyzing Jean Paul Gaultier collections, firs, the beauty he is pursuing is projected broadly in three types- the voluptuous beauty from clothing innovation, the voluptuous beauty from unpolished nature, the voluptuous beauty from exposure. Second, the movie ${\ulcorner}$The Fifth Element${\lrcorner}$ is well revealed the world of Jean Paul Gaultier's art presenting visual amusement and variety of attractions. Finally, the results of analyzing costume by characters say that the clothing innovation and the voluptuous beauty from exposure on Leeloo's costume, the voluptuous beauty from exposure on Korben Dallas's costume, the voluptuous beauty from unpolished nature on Zorg and Ruby Rhod's costumes are well shown respectively.

영상 컨텐츠 불법 복제에 관한 사용자 의식 수준 (Level of User Awareness for Illegal Downloading of Movie Content)

  • 인터넷과 컴퓨터의 성능이 향상됨에 따라 수 초 내에 영화 한 편을 내려 받을 수 있을 정도로 발전했다. 이에 따라 편의성을 이유로 합법적으로 비용을 지불하지 않고 영상 컨텐츠를 불법으로 다운로드 받아 감상하는 이용자들이 늘어가고 있는 추세이다. 이에 따라 국내외 적으로 저작권법을 강화 또는 개정하여 불법복제물을 상습적으로 게시하거나 복제하는 행위에 대해 강력한 법적 제재를 시행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 네티즌들이 영상 컨텐츠의 불법 공유에 대해 과연 어떤 수준의 의식을 가지고 있는지에 대해 탐구하였다. 컴퓨터 소프트웨어 및 음악에 대한 불법복제에 관한 연구 및 논의는 활발하게 이루어졌고 불법 복제 완화에 대한 거의 완벽한 해법이 이미 나와 있으나 영화를 비롯한 영상 컨텐츠에 대한 불법복제 의식에 대한 연구는 수행되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 가장 정평이 나있는 온라인 조사 사이트 월드 서베이를 통해 사용자의 영상 컨텐츠 불법복제에 관한 의식 조사를 시행했다. 응답 결과에서 열 명 중 아홉 명이 영상 컨텐츠를 불법 복제하여 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 놀라운 사실은 그와 같은 수준인 95%의 응답자가 불법복제는 위법이라고 생각하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Gated Recurrent Unit Architecture for Context-Aware Recommendations with improved Similarity Measures

  • Recommender Systems (RecSys) have a major role in e-commerce for recommending products, which they may like for every user and thus improve their business aspects. Although many types of RecSyss are there in the research field, the state of the art RecSys has focused on finding the user similarity based on sequence (e.g. purchase history, movie-watching history) analyzing and prediction techniques like Recurrent Neural Network in Deep learning. That is RecSys has considered as a sequence prediction problem. However, evaluation of similarities among the customers is challenging while considering temporal aspects, context and multi-component ratings of the item-records in the customer sequences. For addressing this issue, we are proposing a Deep Learning based model which learns customer similarity directly from the sequence to sequence similarity as well as item to item similarity by considering all features of the item, contexts, and rating components using Dynamic Temporal Warping(DTW) distance measure for dynamic temporal matching and 2D-GRU (Two Dimensional-Gated Recurrent Unit) architecture. This will overcome the limitation of non-linearity in the time dimension while measuring the similarity, and the find patterns more accurately and speedily from temporal and spatial contexts. Experiment on the real world movie data set LDOS-CoMoDa demonstrates the efficacy and promising utility of the proposed personalized RecSys architecture.

An effective approach to generate Wikipedia infobox of movie domain using semi-structured data

  • Wikipedia infoboxes have emerged as an important structured information source on the web. To compose infobox for an article, considerable amount of manual effort is required from an author. Due to this manual involvement, infobox suffers from inconsistency, data heterogeneity, incompleteness, schema drift etc. Prior works attempted to solve those problems by generating infobox automatically based on the corresponding article text. However, there are many articles in Wikipedia that do not have enough text content to generate infobox. In this paper, we present an automated approach to generate infobox for movie domain of Wikipedia by extracting information from several sources of the web instead of relying on article text only. The proposed methodology has been developed using semantic relations of article content and available semi-structured information of the web. It processes the article text through some classification processes to identify the template from the large pool of template list. Finally, it extracts the information for the corresponding template attributes from web and thus generates infobox. Through a comprehensive experimental evaluation the proposed scheme was demonstrated as an effective and efficient approach to generate Wikipedia infobox.

  • People write reviews of numerous products or services on the Internet, in their blogs or community bulletin boards. These unstructured data contain important emotions and opinions about the author's product or service, which can provide important information for future product design or marketing. However, this text-based information cannot be evaluated quantitatively, and thus they are difficult to apply to mathematical models or optimization problems for product design and improvement. Therefore, this study proposes a method to quantitatively extract user's opinion or preference about a specific product or service by utilizing a lot of text-based information existing on the Internet or online. The extracted unstructured text information is decomposed into basic unit words, and positive rate is evaluated by using existing emotional dictionaries and additional lists proposed in this study. This can be a way to effectively utilize unstructured text data, which is being generated and stored in vast quantities, in product or service design. Finally, to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, a case study was conducted using movie review data retrieved from a portal website. By comparing the positive rates calculated by the proposed framework with user ratings for movies, a guideline on text mining based evaluation of unstructured data is provided.

  • 최근 인터넷 VOD 서비스가 확산되면서 세계방송시장에 큰 변화가 초래되고 있다. 특히 기존 유료방송시장에 대한 위기인식은 이용자들의 '코드커팅'현상과 광고시장이 위축되는 결과를 통해서 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 유료방송시장에 새로운 경쟁자로 등장한 인터넷 동영상 서비스(OTT) 사업자들은 양질의 콘텐츠 확보를 위해서 집중 투자하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 현재 인터넷 동영상 서비스의 일종인 인터넷 VOD 서비스 이용자들의 영화 콘텐츠 이용과 관련하여 지각된 용이성, 지각된 유용성, 충족의 관계와 영향력을 알아보았다.

  • This study aims at investigating Geisha costume hidden in the history until now and how the fashion of Geisha style is expressed in accordance with character through the movie 'Memoirs of a Geisha'. Major contents of the text consist of studies including the historical background and characteristics of Geisha costume in Chapter 2, the Japanese style expressed in the movie through the analysis of the work in Chapter 3, The movie brought in an opportunity to spread the mysterious culture and art of Japan to the world, making Japanese style an important interest in the world of fashion as well. In a way to study this, the investigation was carried out through literature data, DVD and newspaper of , fashion magazine, articles from the Internet, ete. The Geisha trend has made the hot blast blown harder in such ways to affect not only fashion but also cosmetics, electronic appliance, interior, etc. In S/S 2006, it was not limited to the Japanese style but diffused to the Orientalism in China, India, Korea, etc. It can be said that this study has its significance to be a starting point in investigating the special characters of Japanese Geisha costume hidden up to now. In the studies following in the future, the formative beauty demonstrated per Japanese designer needs to be more studied. Furthermore, it seems noteworthy to analyze and compare Chosun Dynasty's Kisaeng with Japanese Geisha.

IP-카메라를 이용한 1인 제작의 영상콘텐츠 설계 (Movie Contents Design of One-Person Production Using IP Cameras)

  • 다중 공간에서의 촬영을 필요로 하는 영상콘텐츠 제작은 많은 인력과 장비를 요하는 작업이다. 특히 소규모 방송사들의 입장에서는 감당하기 힘든 작업이지만, 다양한 형태의 영상콘텐츠를 얻기 위해서는 필요한 작업이다. 본 논문에서는 다중 공간 촬영 시 요구되는 인력과 장비의 절감을 위해, IP 카메라 기반의 실시간 웹캐스팅 시스템을 이용한 다중 공간 동시 촬영과 그를 바탕으로 한 1인 영상콘텐츠 제작 방법이 제안된다. 제안된 방법은 다중 공간에 각각 설치된 IP 카메라가 담는 화면을 수집하여 그들을 인터넷으로 송출하고, 인터넷을 통해 들어온 그들을 동시 수신하며, 화면의 저장과 영상 녹화 및 편집 기능들을 기반으로 하고 있다. 본 제작 방법을 사용함으로써 과거에 어려웠던 1-인/다중-카메라 원격 제어가 가능하게 됨에 따라, 기존의 1-인/1-카메라 사용의 한계에서 벗어나 다중 공간 동시 촬영이 가능하게 되어, 다양한 영상콘텐츠를 적은 인력과 시간을 확보할 수 있게 되었다. 따라서 소규모 웹캐스팅사의 경우, 짧은 시간에 다중 공간에서 촬영된 영상을 기반으로 한 영상콘텐츠 1인 제작이 가능해지고 적은 비용으로 고급 영상콘텐츠의 제작을 기대할 수 있다.
