The Impact of Social Network Service, Trust and Cognition on Customer Loyalty in Internet Shopping

  • The development of information technology improves the globalization of the world economy. This change was able to expand the cyber space, and the online community known as the cyber community is made within the existing offline community. From the cyber community's activity, the concept of social network services created, and recently developed social computing. Social computing is the current situation and the next step in the online community. Currently, most CIOs are using social computing for workplace empowerment. As online transactions become more active, the strategy to increase customer loyalty in Internet shopping is an effective tool to increase profit for the company, and as a method to maintain competitive. With the growth of electronic commerce, through insurance of customer loyalty on the Internet, a company can establish a long-term relationship with customers, so for this, it is important to have reliable relationship with customers. Also, through advertisement and commercial information, the cognition of Internet shopping looks can be effective in retaining customers. In this study, it explores how social computing and trust and cognition of Internet shopping are effective in maintaining customer loyalty. As the result of study, the trust and cognition of Internet shopping are significantly effective on customer loyalty, but the sense of social computing. Still, social computing has not matured enough to be as effective in retaining customer loyalty. However, it does indicate that social computing has significantly increased the trust and cognition in Internet shopping. In this study, as the concepts of the social network service and social computing are applied in Internet shopping, which are actively discussed by scholars, it is expected that the basis of the study could improve and present the idea of social shopping.

수집과 빈도 분석을 이용한 인터넷 게시판의 스팸 메시지 차단 방법 (Spam Message Filtering for Internet Communities using Collection and Frequency Analysis)

  • 인터넷 환경의 빠른 발전과 함께 널리 사용되고 있는 인터넷 게시판이 기본적인 의사소통 수단으로 정착되고 있으나, 불특정 다수로부터 게시되는 스팸 메시지의 증가로 피해 규모가 날로 증가하고 있다. 현재 스팸 메일을 차단하기 위한 다양한 차단 방법들이 제안되고 있으나 게시판에 자동으로 등록되고 있는 스팸 메시지를 차단하는 방법에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 논문은 인터넷 게시판에 등록되는 스팸 메시지를 수집하여 메시지의 특성과 빈도를 분석하고 차단 규칙을 생성하여 차단하는 단계로 구성된 게시판 스팸 메시지 차단 방법을 제안하였다. 인터넷 게시판의 데이터베이스에 저장되는 모든 메시지를 대상으로 스팸 메시지를 수집하고, 수집한 스팸 메시지를 분석하여 스팸 메시지를 정의할 수 있는 정규화된 규칙을 생성한 후, 이 규칙을 이용하여 등록된 메시지에 대해 스팸 메시지를 검사하여 차단한다. 제안한 방법은 수집되는 스팸 메시지의 정보를 이용하여 다양한 유형의 스팸 메시지를 차단할 수 있으며, 변화하는 스팸 메시지의 형태에 대해서도 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 구조를 가지고 있다.

  • 도서관 정보화와 인터넷 지역정보원의 확대는 제한된 자원을 갖고 있는 우리나라 공공도서관에 지역정보봉사의 개선을 위한 좋은 기회를 제공한다. 본 연구는 지역정보의 개념과 유통 및 공공도서관 지역정보봉사에 관한 문헌 연구와 사례 연구를 바탕으로 공공도서관이 인터넷 지역정보원에 접근하는 통로를 제공할 것을 제안하였다 이를 위하여 공공도서관의 지역정보센터에의 참여, 도서관 홈페이지를 통한 지역정보제공, 봉사인력의 양성, 그리고 적합한 봉사 모델 개발이 필요함을 설명하였다.

가족, 학교 및 지역사회 관련요인이 남녀 청소년의 인터넷관련 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Family, School and Community Variables on Students' Internet Behavior Problems)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how family, school and community variables influence internet behavior problems in adolescents. By focusing on sex differences, this study analyzes female as well as male behavior problems. The data used in this study are gathered from 1,046 middle and high school students in a national sampling. The results are as follows. Internet addiction is the most frequently occurring problem. A chi-square test shows that male students have higher experience rates than female students in obscene chatting and violent games. A series of logistic regressions are performed to blow the relative influence of independent variables controlling for each other. In the case of male students' internet behavior problems, region, communications with their parents, interactions with their close friends, and satisfaction with community facilities are significant variables. Interactions with friends are significant in predicting behavior problems of both female and male students. Suggestions and implications with regard to intervention strategies for adolescents are discussed.

  • With the development of the internet and the spread of 'digital home', the communities in cyber space have been especially revitalized since the information-oriented society. Apartment houses provided networks that are well equipped with internet websites, which build up the houses as a virtual space unit. This study attempted to conducted the questionnaire research for apartment occupants in order to investigate their recognition of and participation in the virtual community and demand for the classified contents The results are as follows. 1) First of all, some easy-access programs are necessary to be groped while aggressive promotional strategies for virtual community that create interests of residents are required to make progress to increase the participation for virtual community 2) 'Gender', 'the form of ownership' and 'level of using the Internet' show significant differences in the case of 'needs in the like-minded people's association', the participation of residents that is induced by both online and offline can cause positive effects on community activity 3) Needs in community enrichment are generally high so that various contents development related to those are necessary. 4) Effects of virtual community on the residential community are on the whole affirmative.

  • The aim of this study is to examine the consumer information behavior and consumer satisfaction in virtual community, and analyse influential variables on these. The data for this study were collected from members of virtual community for cosmetics in DAUM ( www.daum.net) through self-report questionnaires. Main findings are following; Virtual community consumer experiences satisfaction for products including information, and information behavior. And the greater information behaviors are associated with the greater satisfaction. And the virtual community consumers' information behavior and satisfaction don't differ largely by internet variables and socio-demographic variables. On the other hand, virtual community consumers' information behavior and satisfaction are associated with psychological variables like community membership, information wants, enduring involvements. In conclusion, these satisfactions make the effect of ‘feedback’ to information behavior, so these virtual community is able to be activated. And this also means that virtual community is Ideal space for consumer to expand information behavior.

청소년의 인터넷 중독, 충동성, 자기효능감 (Impulsivity and Self-efficacy according to Internet Addiction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine impulsivity and self-efficacy according to Internet addiction in adolescents. Method: Subjects were middle and high school students in Daegu (N=486). Data were collected by a self-rating questionnaire including demographic data, a Korean version of Internet addiction, impulsivity and self-efficacy. Result: Impulsivity and self-efficacy according to Internet addition were significantly different (F=22.909. p<.001). There were significant correlations between Internet addiction and impulsivity (r=.280. p<01), between Internet addiction and self-efficacy(r=-.288. p<.01) and between impulsivity and self-efficacy (r=-.665. p<.01). Conclusion: These results indicate that the more addictive to the Internet the more impulsive and the less self-efficacious. Therefore, further studies are needed to generalize these results and examine the effects of Internet addiction more broadly.

청소년의 인터넷 중독, 스트레스와 사회적 지지 (Stress and Social Support According to Internet Addiction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine stress and social support according to Internet addiction in juveniles. Method: Subjects were middle and high school students in Daegu (N=492). Data were collected using a self-rating questionnaire including demographic data, which was the Korean versions of an Internet addiction scale, a stress scale and a social support scale. Results: Stress and social support were significantly different according to Internet addition. Significant correlations were observed between Internet addiction and stress and between Internet addiction and social support. Conclusion: These results indicate that the more addictive to the Internet a student is, the more stress and the less social support he/she has. Therefore, further studies are needed to generalize these results and examine widely the effects of Internet addiction.

  • 인터넷과 같은 정보기술의 비약적 발전은 아파트 거주공간에도 홈페이지를 통한 사이버공동체의 형성이라고 하는 새로운 변화를 가져오고 있다. 이 연구는 이러한 아파트 거주공간에서의 사이버공동체의 가능성과 한계를 홈페이지의 운영 실태에 대한 광범위한 조사 분석을 통하여 고찰하였다. 조사결과는 아직까지 아파트 사이버공동체의 실제 모습은 이론적으로 기대하는 것에 비하여 상당히 미흡하다는 것이다. 사이버공동체의 이상과 상당한 격차를 가져오는 현실적으로 많은 한계들이 존재하는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 그러나 거주공간에 기초한 온라인 공동체로서 전혀 가능성을 없는 것은 아니다. 무엇보다 중요한 것은 사이버공간의 가상성을 극복하는 오프라인 공동체 활동이라고 할 수 있다.

Analysis of an Internet Community about Pneumothorax and the Importance of Accurate Information about the Disease

  • Background: The huge improvements in the speed of data transmission and the increasing amount of data available as the Internet has expanded have made it easy to obtain information about any disease. Since pneumothorax frequently occurs in young adolescents, patients often search the Internet for information on pneumothorax. Methods: This study analyzed an Internet community for exchanging information on pneumothorax, with an emphasis on the importance of accurate information and doctors' role in providing such information. Results: This study assessed 599,178 visitors to the Internet community from June 2008 to April 2017. There was an average of 190 visitors, 2.2 posts, and 4.5 replies per day. A total of 6,513 posts were made, and 63.3% of them included questions about the disease. The visitors mostly searched for terms such as 'pneumothorax,' 'recurrent pneumothorax,' 'pneumothorax operation,' and 'obtaining a medical certification of having been diagnosed with pneumothorax.' However, 22% of the pneumothorax-related posts by visitors contained inaccurate information. Conclusion: Internet communities can be an important source of information. However, incorrect information about a disease can be harmful for patients. We, as doctors, should try to provide more in-depth information about diseases to patients and to disseminate accurate information about diseases in Internet communities.
