This paper deals with the comparison and dynamic behavior of a moving-coil linear oscillatory actuator (MCLOA) with/without a mechanical spring. On the basis of a dynamic simulation model, the dynamic characteristics such as a current and a stroke of the MCLOA without the spring are predicted for various values of frequency. And then, dynamic test results are given to confirm the dynamic simulations. Finally, this paper describes the influence of the spring on the dynamic behavior of the MCLOA from the dynamic experiments of the MCLOA with/without the spring.

The aircraft production quality management system in Korea has been implemented to support the developmental phase of Korean aircraft industries, from overhaul of the aircraft and engines to development of military trainer aircraft. After the deletion of the Mil-Q-9858A standard in 1996, Korean aerospace companies established ISO 9001 and AS 9100 as their basic aerospace quality management system specifications. These quality standards were adopted in the same period of time by other leading international aircraft manufacturing companies. This paper presents a future direction on the improvement of quality management systems for Korean aircraft production company by considering (1) Korean governments strategy for the development of Korean aircraft Production industries, (2) short and long term business plan of Korean aerospace industries, and (3) benchmarking leading international company's quality management systems.

This study aims to reveal the impact of continuous antagonist strengthening(CAS) and Evjenth-Hamberg stretching(EHS) on the cervical mobility in the university students with abnormal transformation of forward head posture(FHP). Our experiment was conducted 3 times a week for 6 weeks in a total of 20 individuals : continuous antagonist strengthening(CAS) group(n=10) & Evjenth-Hamberg stretching(EHS) group(n=10). In a pre and post comparison, both CAS group and EHS group appeared significantly in mSBI and SBA(p<.05) and the two-group comparison showed a significant difference(p<.05) : CAS group showed better effects. Thus, it is considered that the combined use with continuous antagonist strengthening(CAS) had better effects for cervical mobility than Evjenth-Hamberg stretching(EHS) alone.

A novel kind of switched reluctance motor (SRM) with short flux path is proposed in this paper. Phase excitation in the SRM gives short flux paths, hence reducing the magnetomotive force required to drive the machine, resulting in significant reduction of copper wire and core losses compared to the typical SRM with diametric circulation of magnetic flux. To verify the performance, the characteristics analysis of a double-stator SRM, a 6/5 SRM with C-core structure, and a 4/5 two-phase SRM, which all have short flux paths, and a comparison with conventional SR motors are executed. The comparison demonstrates that the proposed motor offers some advantages in terms of torque and efficiency.

본 논문에서는 현재 디지털 이동통신 시스템에서 운용되고 있는 QCELP(Qualcomm Code Excited Linear Predictor) 음성부호화 방식과 향후 IMT-2000 (International Mobile Telecommunications 2000) 등의 시스템에서 사용 예정인 CS-ACELP(Conjugate Structure Algebraic Code Excited Linear Prediction) 음성부호화 방식과의 성능을 비교한다. 특히 무선 채널을 사용하는 이동통신환경의 특징인 채널에러로 인한 음성부호화기의 성능을 비교함으로써 채널에러에 강인한 음성부호화 알고리즘 설계에 대한 고찰을 유도한다.

Masks are generated by adding different fonts of learning data characters in pixel unit, and pixel values belonging to each of the masks are divided into 3 groups. Using the directional expansion operators, we expand the text area of the test data character into 4 diagonal directions in order to create the boundary areas to distinguish it from the background area. A mask with a minimum average discordance is selected as the final recognition result by calculating the degree of discordance between the expanded test data and the masks. Image comparison using directional expansion operations more accurately recognizes test data through 4 subdivided recognition processes. It is also possible to expand the ranges of 3 groups of pixel values of masks more evenly such that new fonts can easily be added to the given learning data.

This paper aims to study and design of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) Machine using Isopentane as working fluid expanding through Tesla turbine. The study on ORC machine expanding through Tesla turbine has result on the efficiency of Tesla turbine. In addition, Thermodynamics theory on isentropic efficiency proved to be a successful method for overcoming the difficulties associated with the determination of very low torque at very high angular speed. By using an inexpensive experiment device and a simple method, the angular acceleration method, for measuring output torque and power in a Tesla turbine is able to predict a tendency of output work. The experiments using two Tesla turbine sizes, the first size is 1.6 bigger than the second one. In comparison with the first size, the tesla turbine can produce power output more than 62% of the second size. Further study on the machine can be developed throughout the county due to its low cost and efficiency.

This survey examined sex role identities (androgyny, masculinity, femininity, and undifferentiated), gender, and academic achievement scores from an international sampling of college students. For a comparison, American students and Korean students responded to survey questions on the Bem Sex Role Inventory and the Korean Sex Role Inventory respectively, reported family socio-economic status and achievement scores on the American College Testing (ACT) or Korean Scholastic Ability Test (KSAT). Results in this study indicate that a higher percentage of American students report an androgynous or undifferentiated gender role identity than do Koreans, while Korean students are more likely to show a feminine gender role identity than Americans. Although American students reported higher levels of androgyny in their gender role identity, those who fit the feminine gender role identity group showed higher ACT scores than other gender role identity types. However, in the Korean sample, the masculine gender role identity produced a higher academic achievement for both males and females.

The purpose of this paper was to investigate the comparison of balance and muscle strength between dominant and non-dominant legs in adults. Thirty adults in their 20s participated in this study. The dominant and non-dominant legs were selected based on the dominant hands of the target. The subject's muscle strength of legs was measured with Nicholas MMT, and the balance was measured with BIO-Rescue. We compared the dominant and non-dominant legs based on the results. The result, indicated no statistical difference on balance and muscle strength between dominant and non-dominant legs(p>.05). The results of this study will be helpful in setting the effective treatment direction and treatment level, and in controlling posture, balance and motor function.

Recently we have a lot of Youtube contents and their influence. ASMR content is in vogue through YouTube recently But Just a few Studies have announced Youtube content's effect. The purpose of this paper is to examine whether ASMR helps improve mental stability and learning skills of teenagers who enjoy using it. To this end, a sample comparison of teenagers showed that the sample group that played ASMR had an advantage in psychological stability and learning effects over the comparison group that did not. As a result, half of the respondents felt positive differences in learning and psychological stability. Therefore, rather than unilaterally banning the use of ASMR content at school or at home, it is educationally effective to create an atmosphere where teenagers are understood and joined together. So We suggest that positive use of ASMR would be proposed as alternatives rather than unilateral measures such as banning ASMR content to teenagers.
