In Interior design, light is the most important factor in deciding color, texture and illumination level which are the basic factors of spatial design. To apply rendering technologies on prediction of illuminating effect, it is important to understand and analyse the basic properties of the illumination models that are local illumination model and global illumination model. The illumination models in computer graphics express the factors which determine the surface color, texture and light distribution through the reflection. The purpose of this study is to propose the best way of shading algorithm in interior space provided by the computer, based on the experimental analysis that 5 shading methods are applied to the interior space. The results of this study were as followed. 1) Local illumination models that are Lambert shading, Ground shading and Phong shading are not suitable to the prediction of interior illumination effect. 2) Ray tracing that is global illumination model could be adopted to interior illumination effects. Ray tracing is a very versatile algorithm because of the large range of lighting effects it can model. 3) Neither radiality nor ray tracing offers a complete solution for simulating all interior illumination effects. 4) Radiosity excels at rendering diffuse-to-diffuse inter-reflections and ray tracing excels at rendering specular reflections. By merging both shading techniques, that offers the best of both. Using computer technologies to simulate lighting in preliminary design stage which will provide information for designers and occupants to determine the effect of using artificial light sources at each stage of their design process. Further study in illumination analysis, prediction of illumination effect, and lighting calculation is required as computer media expands.

The purpose of this study is to analyze behaior character of dementia patients and physical environment problem through survey, research and interview on the problems arising from the dementia specialized facilities and according to the data from it, suggesting a plan to improve physical environment and design guideline. Three hospitals were chosen, which had both private space, public space and semi-public space, and dementia patients were chosen from them, who were able to move room to room by themselves.

It can be characterized that contemporary architects intend to establish architectonics which can make it possible to reinterpret the attribute of movement in space and its programming differed from the traditional perception in moving in and out any space through disjoining and reorganizing human behavior and event. This intends reflect new paradigm for subjugating the compelled fuctioning of modern Architecture. This Study review those intends focused on programming as a pre-disign schema. In those intends, it connotes the effort of establishing more systemic and logical approach through deconstruction and disprogramming the existing from, space, elements and human on the basis of his own schematic conception as substitution of function in modern architecture.

This thesis has purpose of explaining that blur color is not only appreciated but also undecided spacial color in contemporary space design and examining effects of space experience through the light. In keeping such developments, blur color has been perceived as the object of another tool in contemporary space and has provided us with new views by providing various program, sensor and screen from digital media. With the expansion of blur color, light has changed a spacial color structural that is not simple meaning factor into the essential concept. So this research aims to understand the principle of blur color in Olafur Eliasson's work, which of the fine artist in diverse fields from installation art to media art. The principle of blur color such as deconstruction of vanishing point, dimensional transfer, color gradation, and fiction of visual perception makes it possible to extract the expressed element and method of blur color. Meanwhile, the features of blur color such as sense of depth from viewpoint changes, hybrid from collapse of order, media metamorphosis from reconstitution and interaction from uncanny can be inferred from case analysis.

Therefore, domestic beauty industry has been improved by the introduction of the franchise with specialization, different management system and the marketing strategy. Through a case of hair salon's franchise, a purpose of this paper is elements which form the brand-image in space investigate how it have been applied and letting fundamental data of beauty care thread space planning.

The use of colors plays an important role in the field of space design. The selection of proper colors influences on people who use space by making the most of the psychological and physical functions of colors. Especially, the medical space is relatively more important than other indoor spaces in the selection of colors. The medical space has to be something to do with diversity and functions, and at the same time with stability and quietude, as well as the space with general convenient facilities. Color is not only related to the expression but also to the distinction of things and the existence. It also functions as a visual language. Human beings depend heavily on the function of color as a visual language. According to previous studies, human beings depend on color by 80% of the whole range of eyesight. Thus, color is an important factor in recognizing things and space. For example, in hospital, it Is very important to apply proper colors to various medical treatment spaces for the sake of patients' rest and healing. Various colors which do not consider the function of patients' rest and healing may make the space confusing against the change of space and structure. It is also important to apply colors to the change of space and structure. Another key point that I would like to make is that color has visual, direct and physical influence on the human body. For example, the color red with long wavelength serves to regulate body temperature. Research on the color scheme for hospitals should consider both physical and psychological factors. That is why the research should be carried out in depth through continuous clinical demonstration. The present research aims to outline color planning.

Based on the trend of architectural lighting of residential building, this study is to examine architectural lighting for residential buildings, and deduce the value and significance of architectural lighting by analyzing architectural lighting and characteristics of residential building through the analysis of works according to the types of works and by analyzing discourse relating to works of architectural lighting of residential building. First, architectural lighting for residential buildings can be categorized according to continuity and extensibility, lighting method and lighting factor. Second, architectural lighting of residential building has come into play since 2000 due to diversified activities at home. Third, architectural lighting had been introduced for living room and used in the form of structure or foundation up until early 2000s, but since mid 2000s, it has been used in intellectual and abstract form using various shapes, finishing material or objects. Fourth characteristic is a space of changing functions overcoming limited space, suggesting an alternative space, and using finishing material and object.

A general hospitals change continuously and rapidly, the way of growth and change becomes an important factor in the interior design. For this purpose, it compares and analyzes the image between different general hospital's ultrasonography with content level in the interior design to aspect investigating the preferences of the patient. Also the field survey on the real users was carried out, asking what kind of interior design you like in the general hospital ultrasonography. These research materials can be utilized for the practice application in the interior design of general hospital ultrasonography with the analyzing each available space. In the survey result, the point on the users needs things which are considered as the most important aspect for the fundamental data for the reasonable design planning and the basic principles of the modeling plan in the hospital's ultrasonography. So this study is to investigate and analyze the characteristics of the waiting area, way finding, color, lighting, counter design. This study would apply to interior design for the modeling of general hospital's ultrasonography.

Since the end of 19th century, The form and inner space for the religious ceremony; liturgical space of Catholic churches in Busan diocese have been changed as various styles by several outer and inner factors. The changing of historical, social, and religious environment, such as Opening Harbor, Japanese Occupation, Korean War & Rehabilitation Period, and Vatican II are generally regarded as main outer factors, and the locality that lay behind the flux of those events is considered as the main inner factor. The former has usually operated as a momentum for showing general trend of Catholic church, while the latter has made local singularity expressed as unusual style and somewhat modified liturgical space compared with Its contemporary churches. In the context, this paper attempt to analyze the transformation process of style and liturgical space of Catholic churches in Busan diocese focused on revealing local singularity with main five churches, Bumil Church, Samrangjin Church, Milyang Church, Jungang Church, and Dongrae Church, constructed between the end of 19th century and 1962.

For the company, the office space is the expensive resource next to human resource. Employees are under the influence of physical characters of the office space. Among them lighting is the most effective factor in physical, biological and psychological for employees. Although there are lots of investments in architectural aspect of the office space, there is almost no investment and consideration about the lighting environment. Therefore this study was trying to find out these things as follow. First, evaluate lighting environment of people who works in the office spaces. Second, find out which factors are more affective in evaluation of lighting environment. And then with these findings this study found what should be considered as important in lighting planning of the office space. As the result of this study, however the majority of the employees are satisfied with current lighting conditions, they are not satisfied with individual operation of lighting. And in office space work type and position changes by age can affect in a large degree more than other factors. Therefore when planning lighting of the office space, it is necessary to figure out work features of Individual and group exactly and accept the difference by positions appropriately.
