The Impact of Social Media Marketing Towards Purchase Decision: Interactive Flat Panel Display Technology Distribution from Indonesia's B2B Market

  • Purpose: This research aims to examine the impact of social media marketing on buy decisions in Indonesia's B2B market, considering the mediating roles of brand image, perceived quality, and perceived value in relation to interactive flat panel display technology. To better understand technology adoption and distribution, we utilize the innovation diffusion theory. Research Design, Data and Methodology: The Decision-Making Unit of each organization that buy interactive flat panel display technology conducted an empirical survey of 82 participants. The quantitative research design analyzed the data utilizing the PLS-SEM model. outcome: This research reveals that social media marketing significantly impacted perceived quality, brand image, perceived value, and buy decisions. The research also found that perceived quality does not significantly impact buy decisions, but perceived value and brand image significantly impacted buy decisions. This research contributes to understanding the key factorsinfluencing buy decisionsin Indonesia's B2B market. Conclusion: Thisresearch concludesthat B2B consumers in Indonesia are less concerned about product quality but prioritize the value they receive when purchasing interactive display technology. Social media marketing could impacted the distribution of interactive display technology in Indonesia's B2B market by affecting the DMU's purchasing decisions. Brands should leverage social media marketing to positively impact theirsuccess.

  • Due to characteristics of modern society including technological development, various methods engaging interaction between people and manmade environment have become one of the major issues raised in various fields of deign so called interactive design. Interactive design started as the interface between human and computer system, but now expanded to interior design field enhancing spatial experience of users. Now, many corporates are looking into interactive design to bridge the gap between company or brand identity and consumers as marketing tool. The current study investigates interactive concepts and characteristics of corporate participated public spaces and tries to define their design methods according to spatial marketing strategies. Using theoretical inquiry, cultural events and delivery of corporate identity information were defined as two major spatial strategies through cognitive or behavioral approaches. Moreover, digital, constructive, and expressive presentations were found to be most common design methods. Through this theoretical framework, 7 selected samples in Korea are analyzed in order to find detailed design characteristics. It is hoped that this study may serve in understanding current design approaches of interactive corporate public spaces and useful guideline when designing interactive public spaces not only as means of marketing strategies but even for public goods.

  • As digital media technology continues to evolve, media arts are being created using new technologies. Among them, interactive media provides new experience and interest to the audience in that the audience is completed only by participating in the works. The use of these characteristics as a marketing strategy has led to an increase in sales and a positive image of the company. Through this study, we analyze the case of interactive media contents and infer the usage plan and elements. In addition, we propose a prototype of interactive media contents that can be used as a strategic marketing element by exploring ways to utilize interactive media as a marketing element of the film industry. This suggests the development direction of interactive media that provides a continuous and new sense of immersion to the audience, and suggests subsequent research on effective use of the industry as well as movie marketing.

  • Along with the advent of the digital era, the media environment in which an informant would convey information one-sidedly has evolved more towards engaging customers to actively participate and produce contents themselves. This change in content consumption behavior has brought about the new marketing paradigm. The new communication strategy is interactive marketing, which enhances brand-imprinting Effects, and has been consistently proposed these days. This study aims to examine these brand-imprinting effects through an empirical study and to propose an application plan. Therefore, methods of approach for engaging customers' participation and the methods of experiences are categorized by types through the case analysis of various domestic as well as international interactive marketing techniques. In addition, in-depth interviews have been carried out in order to verify the influence of interactive marketing on brand-imprinting effects. Through the interview, potential needs of customers were found. Based on the findings, marketing strategies that utilize interactive media installation for brand-imprinting effects have been constructed. First, to utilize a space for a medium of communication between customers and advertising media. Second, using storytelling as a construct that focuses on the individual's situation. Third, to design interactions that are proper to the situation and context.

  • In this paper, we propose and implement VVVV base interactive advertisement. It has now expanded from the traditional marketing methods of television, radio, newspapers and magazines to become a digital marketing era. However, it is still in the form of infusion-type advertising, similar to traditional marketing techniques. For more innovative we put story and design elements into digital technology. Consumers will feel fresh excitement as they experience advertising. Emotional stories and image will also provide an element for customers to talk to each other. The propose advertisement is design to recognize the movement of people in the corridor by using Arduino and ultrasonic sensor installed in the passageway where many people pass. Arduino and VVVV takes people's movements for a values. This values change the advertising image. In this case, we applied the mask in VVVV so that the image to be reproduced and the image of the background role are displayed when the person passes the sensor. By realizing this interactive advertisement, the objective is to increase the buyer's purchasing power by approaching the buyer more effectively than the existing advertisement.

  • With the development of e-commerce, live streaming e-commerce, as an emerging marketing method, is on the rise. It integrates various ways of information delivery, providing consumers with unprecedented shopping experiences, particularly through its interactive nature, which can increase audience engagement and immersion. This study delves into how interactive elements in live streaming e-commerce influence consumer emotions and purchase intentions. By employing literature review and empirical analysis methods, we analyzed various interactive factors in the live streaming e-commerce environment and revealed the process through which these factors stimulate audience emotions and lead to specific purchasing behaviors. The results confirm that the interactive appeal of live streaming e-commerce significantly influences consumers' positive emotional responses, consequently enhancing purchase intentions. This study aims to explore the relationship between the interactive features of live streaming e-commerce and consumer emotional responses and purchase intentions, thereby filling theoretical gaps in the field of live streaming e-commerce and proposing new marketing theories. Additionally, by analyzing how interactive features stimulate consumers, optimal live content strategies can be proposed for live streaming e-commerce platforms and hosts, thus aiding in the improvement of marketing strategies and sales effectiveness.

  • Interactive drama is a story which requires user's free choice and participation. In this study, we grasp user's preference by making training data that utilize characters of interactive drama. Furthermore, we describe process of implementing systems which recommend new users path of stories that correspond with their preference. We used PCA and NMF to extract characteristic of preference. The success rate of recommending was 75% with PCA, while 62.5% with NMF.

  • Web-based Promotion of companies have several advantages: They can publicize the brand image in various ways; they enable consumers to learn the information of products in the round with interests; they can stretch out their marketing targets to the whole world. In order to make an effective delivery of their information in such promotion websites, interaction with their consumers is an important factor, for which understanding Interactive Storytelling is essential. The purpose of this thesis is to study Interactive Storytelling which enables us to have effective interaction with consumers in making promotion websites of companies. For this, this thesis analyzes examples of Interact Storytelling focused on it have story promotion websites on the basis of the five steps for internet marketing promotions: attraction of visitors, attraction of interests and participations, acquisition of the information of customers, grasp of the needs of customers, and an offer of values classified by customers.

The impact of Marketing Communication Content Distributed on Social Networks on Electronic Word-of-Mouth

  • Purpose: This paper evaluates which characteristics of marketing communication content distributed on social networks impact electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM). Research design, data, and methodology: Quantitative research was carried out on 637 Vietnamese people aged from 18, who were exposed to marketing communication programs of fashion brands. Preliminary data were analyzed by the reliability of the scale, multivariate regression analysis, and analysis of variance. Results: The research findings have identified the four characteristics of social media content that positively impact e-WOM, including entertainment, interaction, trendiness, and customization. Participants aged 30 and under have a higher appreciation for media content and e-WOM than those from 31 and over. Conclusion: To promote e-WOM, marketing communication content distributed on social networks should focus on the following characteristics: (1) The entertainment of marketing communication content should involve positive emotions, fun, and enjoyment; (2) With interactive content, focus should be placed on discussion and exchange content, content that encourages sharing, and two-way interactive content; (3) For trending marketing communication content, marketers consider communicating brand-related latest information, up-to-date information, and hot discussion topics; and (4) When creating customized content, brands should be interesting, customized (information, product, price), and unique.
