  • FPCA is the necessary device to design of hardware at present, it is researched on many ways of applying to design caused by expansion of capacity in recent years. One of these applying ways is SoC (System on a Chip) that is proposed for realizing the basic function of a system. For realizing SoC efficiently, IP (Intellectual property) is very important and developed for re-use of hardware. A MPU for built-in exists as an IP. But almost of MPUs at present as an IPs are lengthy and large-scale for using embedded-application. Furthermore, the function of executing specific treatment critically is required to embedded MPU. We propose a flexible and small scale MPU and its design method.

가치사슬분석을 통한 지식정보보안산업의 애로사항 분석 (Value Chain Analysis on Business Difficulties of Information Security Industry)

  • The information security industry market is sluggish despite high expectation for its growth, and thus policies are required to define the causes and to address these issues. The policy formulation requires various historical market and human resource data for analyzing the industry, which cannot be guaranteed secured. This study executed face-to-face in-depth interviews with the frontline businesses in order to gather live opinions and to analyze industry's value chain, problems, and difficulties with a view to defining policy tasks for the development of the industry. The findings of the study revealed the current technical level of the information security industry, the frontline difficulty, and industrial ecosystem status. Based on these findings, the industry revitalization policy was devised and proposed. Objectives of the policy included the fostering of capacity to conceptualize, plan, and design industrial strategies based on the analysis of the industry's value chain and ecosystem, the expansion of the industry's value-added through the enhanced securing and management of the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and the nurturing of the security Human Resources (HR) in line with the industrial demand.

  • 조도센서 칩은 아날로그 회로의 트리밍이나 디지털 레지스터의 초기 값을 셋팅하기 위해 소용량의 eFuse(electrical Fuse) OTP(One-Time Programmable) 메모리 IP(Intellectual Property)를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 1.8V LV(Low-Voltage) 로직 소자를 사용하지 않고 3.3V MV(Medium Voltage) 소자만 사용하여 128비트 eFuse OTP IP를 설계하였다. 3.3V 단일 MOS 소자로 설계한 eFuse OTP IP는 1.8V LV 소자의 gate oxide 마스크, NMOS와 PMOS의 LDD implant 마스크에 해당되는 총 3개의 마스크에 해당되는 공정비용을 줄일 수 있다. 그리고 1.8V voltage regulator 회로가 필요하지 않으므로 조도센서 칩 사이즈를 줄일 수 있다. 또한 조도센서 칩의 패키지 핀 수를 줄이기 위해 프로그램 전압인 VPGM 전압을 웨이퍼 테스트 동안 VPGM 패드를 통해 인가하고 패키징 이후는 PMOS 파워 스위칭 회로를 통해 VDD 전압을 인가하므로 패키지 핀 수를 줄일 수 있다.

Interactions between Chicken Salt-soluble Meat Proteins and Makgeolli Lees Fiber in Heat-induced Gels

  • The technological effects of Makgeolli lees fiber (0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 4.0%) on chicken salt-soluble breast meat proteins in a model system on proximate composition, physicochemical properties, and textural properties were investigated. Makgeolli lees fiber was obtained from Makgeolli brew processing, and the by-products showed good dietary fiber. The moisture and ash contents, water holding capacity, redness, yellowness, hardness, and apparent viscosity of chicken salt-soluble meat protein heat-induced gel systems with Makgeolli lees fiber were all higher than the control without Makgeolli lees fiber. However, protein solubility and electrophoretic patterns did not differ among the control and treatments with Makgeolli lees fiber samples. The chicken salt-soluble protein heat-induced gel systems incorporating Makgeolli lees fiber had improved water holding capacity, textural properties, and viscosity due to Makgeolli lees fiber addition. These results suggest that the addition of 4.0% Makgeolli lees fiber to gel is helpful to improve the physical properties of heat-induced gels.

Opportunities for Joint Cooperation in R&D for FEALAC Countries: On Nanotechnology and Biotechnology

  • The general purpose of this paper is to identify opportunities for and to measure existing collaboration on research and development between institutions from the countries of Asia and Latin America in FEALAC's framework, in the fields of biotechnology and nanotechnology and their convergence. The methodological approach includes scientific and technological surveillance and research seeking to identify both the R&D and innovation capacities of the countries as well as the degree of international cooperation between countries of the two regions; case studies and a study of the governance framework of international collaboration in R&D about issues considered global challenges. The study has three main findings. First, nanotechnology, biotechnology and their convergence contribute to solving the problem of contamination by heavy metals affecting most of the countries that are part of FEALAC and to address problems arising from the accelerated rate of energy consumption, which also contributes to environmental damage. In this scenario, important business opportunities arise from the adaptation and development of bio-refinery technologies. Second, the scientific relationship between FEALAC countries, mainly between Asian and Latin American countries, is weak as can be seen in research for articles and patents. But there is plenty of room and potential for improvement. Third, current and upcoming joint R&D programs and projects should be linked both to existing governance structures and to new ones that serve as experiments of STI public policy regarding innovative management of intellectual property and capacity building. Practical implications are included in lessons learned and a set of recommendations involving a couple of proposals. One proposal calls for research and innovation in promising fields for international cooperation. Another proposal creates mechanisms in the governance framework for sharing knowledge, capacity building, and funding.

중부지방에서의 로터리 경운작업 실태조사 및 경운부하 (Research on the Actual Condition of Rotary Tilling & Rotary Power Requirement in the Central Area)

  • In this study, actual state of operation of rotary tillage was surveyed in the central part of Korea which includes 29 rural community around Asan city, Choongnam principal. 29 heads of the village and 44 farmers were surveyed at the field with a questionnaire on the operation of rotary tillage with farm tractors. Power requirement of rotary tillage operation was measured at the field of each farmers during rotary tilling operation in the central part of Korea. Summaries of this study are summarized as follows. 1) Operations of tillage and land preparation were found to be carried out with farm tractors by 98 percents which are results of the survey on 29 heads of the village and 44 farmers. 2) More than half of the farms had tractors with horsepower more than 38 kW which states that most tractors were supplied in middle and large size. 3) The case of applying secondary tillage after the first primary tillage were 79 percent among the most of operations of tillage and field preparation. Rotary tillage were carried out on the most of wet paddy fields and only 14 percent of dry fields were cultivated with rotary tillage. 4) 63.6 percent of farm tractors were surveyed to meet the recommended field capacity on tillage operation by the government which were ranged from 15.1 to 34.9 ha. And the field capacity of these farm tractors were greater than that of annual total area of operation field, 13.2ha (data from Information of agricultural machinery, National agricultural products quality service, Korea), which states the utilization of agricultural machinery was high in the area surveyed. 5) 46 percent of farmers changed the blade of rotary implement when they used it over the field capacity of rotary blade of 33 ha which is the area of field for rotary operation per a blade change. 55 percent of farmers changed the rotary blade more than once per two years. 6) The required power for rotary operation of each farm tractors were measured as 17.206 kW at untilled paddy field and 34.989 kW at untilled dry field on the average, respectively. The required power for rotary operation was measured as 28.248 kW on the average at the paddy field which had been plowed once and 28.015 at the paddy field that had rotary tillage operation. Untilled dry field showed the highest value of the required power for rotary operation.

Novel Robust High Dynamic Range Image Watermarking Algorithm Against Tone Mapping

  • High dynamic range (HDR) images are becoming pervasive due to capturing or rendering of a wider range of luminance, but their special display equipment is difficult to be popularized because of high cost and technological problem. Thus, HDR images must be adapted to the conventional display devices by applying tone mapping (TM) operation, which puts forward higher requirements for intellectual property protection of HDR images. As the robustness presents regional diversity in the low dynamic range (LDR) watermarked image after TM, which is different from the traditional watermarking technologies, a concept of watermarking activity is defined and used to distinguish the essential distinction of watermarking between LDR image and HDR image in this paper. Then, a novel robust HDR image watermarking algorithm is proposed against TM operations. Firstly, based on the hybrid processing of redundant discrete wavelet transform and singular value decomposition, the watermark is embedded by modifying the structure information of the HDR image. Distinguished from LDR image watermarking, the high embedding strength can cause more obvious distortion in the high brightness regions of HDR image than the low brightness regions. Thus, a perceptual brightness mask with low complexity is designed to improve the imperceptibility further. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is robust to the existing TM operations, with taking into account the imperceptibility and embedded capacity, which is superior to the current state-of-art HDR image watermarking algorithms.

Effects of Low-temperature Tumbling on the Quality Characteristics of Restructured Chicken Breast Ham

  • The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of tumbling condition (time and temperature) on the quality characteristics of restructured chicken breast ham. Tumbling conditions were 10, 30, and 60 min at 3 or $-3^{\circ}C$, respectively. After tumbling, quality characteristic regarding the treatments processed by each condition were measured. There were no significant differences in pH levels among tumbling time or temperature. Treatments involving 60 min of tumbling had significantly higher water holding capacity (WHC) than that tumbled for 10 min, but WHC was not affected by the tumbling temperature. The tumbling condition at $-3^{\circ}C$ for 60 min demonstrated the most effective cooking yields for restructured chicken breast ham. Myofibrillar protein solubility of treatments tumbled for 60 min had the highest value of all, regardless of tumbling temperature. The hardness of treatments tumbled at $-3^{\circ}C$ were lower than those at $3^{\circ}C$; however, the springiness of treatments tumbled for 60 min were significantly higher than those regarding the treatments tumbled for 10 and 30 min. Therefore, tumbling technology for 30 min or more at $-3^{\circ}C$ can produce restructured chicken breast ham of excellent quality.

조직기업가정신이 예비창업자에게 주는 시사점 (Case Study on Organization Entrepreneurship for preliminary Entrepreneurs)

  • 새롭게 창업을 준비하는 이들과 창업을 실행 단계에 옮기고 있는 이들에게는 많은 어려움들이 존재한다. 그리고 이를 극복하는데 무엇보다 중요한 요소로서 기업가정신이 요구된다. 하지만 기업가정신에 대한 이론과 연구들은 이들 창업자들과 예비창업자들에게는 접근하고 이해하기 어려운 것이 현 실정이다. 본 연구는 이러한 기업가정신이 실제 사례에서 어떻게 적용되고 있는지, 또한, 개인적인 기업가정신 조직 기업가정신이 창업초기서부터 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 중점을 두었다. 연구의 진행은 이론적인 어려움을 실제 사례로서 해석하기 위하여 국내의 2개의 중견 중소기업을 선정하였고, 이들 기업이 각각 30년, 20년을 성장할 수 있었던 원인에 대하여 기업가정신적인 요인을 파악하였고 쉽게 간과될 수 있는 조직기업가정신적인 특성을 함께 연구하였다. 2개 기업의 사례분석 결과는 크게 3가지로 요약할 수 있다. 첫 째, 창업초기부터 내부 네트워크 시스템을 잘 정비하였다. 이러한 숙달된 내부 네트워크는 장기적으로 외부 네트워크를 통해 직접적, 간접적인 네트워크 효과를 시장에서 빠르게 얻을 수 있었다. 두 번째, 최근 확산되고 있는 기업의 조직문화에 대한 창업자 개인과 조직적 차원의 수용이 시기적으로 매우 빨랐다. 이는 중소기업이 겪을 수 있는 인적자원문제를 해결하는 기초적인 원동력이 되었다. 마지막으로 기술혁신역량이다. 창업초기 사업을 진행하면서 나타나는 재무적인 어려움에도 불구하고 기술역량의 개발에 대한 집중적인 투자를 지속하였고, 이는 수익적인 성과 이외에도 최근 강조되는 지식재산 관리까지 빠르게 수용할 수 있는 결과를 가져왔다. 이 세 가지 특성은 창업자 개인들의 기업가적인 특성이면서도 동시에 조직이 보유한 초기부터의 특성이기도 하였다. 그리고 이러한 조직기업가적인 특성이 예비 창업자들에게 창업초기부터 꾸준하게 기업을 성장시킬 수 있는 핵심 요소로 본 연구에서는 판단하였다.

국내외 산학협력프로그램 비교를 통한 산학협력 활성화 방안 연구 (Activation Factors of Industry Cooperation through Comparison Study on Domestic and International Industry Cooperation Programs)

  • 세계적으로 산학협력은 선택이 아니라 국가발전의 필연적인 구성요소이다. 산학협력의 부흥 결과는 국가의 필수적 경제발전의 요소로서 세계 주요국의 국가 정책에서도 중요한 위치를 차지한다. 미국, 캐나다, 핀란드, 스웨덴, 이스라엘 등 여러 국제환경의 변화 속에서도 경제적으로 지속적인 발전을 유지하고 있는 국가들의 경우 역사적으로 산학협력 제도를 성공적으로 정착하고 유지시켜 왔다. 본 연구에서는 산학협력 활성화를 위해서 국내외 산학협력프로그램 비교를 통해서 보다 현실성 있는 방법을 도출해 보고자 하였다. 연구결과 R&D 연구보상제도 프로그램으로 기술개발 특허의 성과급 지급에 대한 기준 마련을 필두로하여 공동개발의 경우 무상 기술이전 방침을 도출하였다. 또한 학생과 기업 그리고 대학이 공동으로 참여하는 공동역량강화프로그램으로 각종 지원사업시 가산점 및 평가지표 마련을 도출하였다. 그리고 취업과 창업을 동시에 강화하는 토탈관리 프로그램으로 관련 교육을 단계별 교육 체계로 전환하고 지역사회 주민에게도 교육의 혜택을 줄 수 있도록 해야한다. 마지막으로 지식재산권 전문가 매칭프로그램을 기술거래사 등을 바탕으로 최소단위 행정구역별로 전문가맵을 전국망으로 인터넷 정보검색서비스를 실시하고 동사무소 등에 전담인력을 배치하는 방안을 도출하였다.
