Scholars are paying increasingly close attention to brain research and the creation of biological neural networks, artificial neural networks, artificial intelligence, neurochips, brain-computer interfaces, prostheses, new research instruments and methods, methods of treatment, as well as the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases based on these data. The authors of the study propose their hypothesis on the understanding of the phenomenon of consciousness that answers questions concerning the criteria of consciousness, its localization, and principles of operation. In the study of the hard problem of consciousness, the philosophical and scientific categories of consciousness, and prominent hypotheses and theories of consciousness, the authors distinguish "the area of the conscious mind", which encompasses several states of consciousness united by the phenomenon of integrated consciousness. According to the authors, consciousness is a kind of executor of the phenomenological idea of the "chalice", so the search for it should be conducted deeper than the processes in the power of thought consciousness and transconsciousness, to which integrated consciousness can act as a lever. However, integrated consciousness may have the capacity to transcend into lower states of consciousness, which requires further study.

In this competitive environment which changes rapidly na extensively we can perceive that the role of education is getting important more and more. The challenge that we face is how we can handle the information and convert it to the knowledge. A lot of schools have already tried to improve the effect of education by using the computers. Besides providing the content of education newly and interestingly the educational use of the integrated Media has a strong point in terms of efficiency and effectiveness that it is excellent in storage, communication, control and handling enormous information as well as in a peculiarity of reciprocity, the high usefulness of communicative education using the experience of vision, audition and simulation in the method of participating of students themselves in education that the previous media systems didn't have. This thesis brought up a substantial problem in producing the consequences of education for children by investigating the psychological and recognitional abilities of children and by understanding the essence of the Integrated Media. And this study provided the solution in terms of the content and the viewpoint in design to raise the educational efficiency and effectiveness of the Integrated Media even though it is just a partial solution.

This study proposed an integrated approach to multiplication as a way to help students understand multiplication in elementary mathematics. The integrated approach to multiplication is to give students a broad understanding of multiplication by solving a situation of multiplication in a variety of ways in mathematics classes, exploring and discussing each other's methods. The integrated approach to multiplication was derived from a number of previous studies that emphasized various approaches, a consistent approach, and a specific approach to multiplication. As results, the integrated approach of multiplication can be interpreted in four ways as a situation of multiplication, and each method is connected to important characteristics of multiplication emphasized in previous studies. In addition, this study has theoretically confirmed that the integrated approach to multiplication is important not only for multiplication but also for division, fraction and operation of fractions, ratios, rates, and proportions. This study is expected to provide some implications for teachers with regard to multiplication in elementary school mathematics.

The purpose of this study analyzed the overview of corrugated cardboasrd manufacturing industry and then provide direction for improvement. The BREF (BAT reference document) is an important reference for licensees and officer, including the best available techniques for the industry and achievable environmental performance, technical characteristics, and economic information. In the corrugated cardboard manufacturing process, wastewater pollutants are generated throughout the production process, and water is used in the dissociation and aging process. Atmospheric emissions are mostly generated by steam production from boilers and incinerators for the dry process. SO₂, NOx, CO₂, CO, HCl, dust, VOC, and odor were common. In the EU-BREF (European union BAT reference documents) BAT for wastewater have taken up a relatively large proportion. Items of water pollutants in wastewater were common in COD, BOD, N, P, SS, and however EU-BREF had different pollutants such as AOX and salt compared to K-BREF. In order to improve the quality of the K-BREF, it is necessary to devise basic data research method and data acqusitiom method. Consideration should be given to additional environmental management techniques that reflect the emissions characteristics of the corrugated cardboard manufacturing process. In addition, further research is needed to develop methodologies for selecting BATs considering environmental and economic feasibility.

Many researches have reported that it is difficult to solve students' difficulties in learning science with teaching models focused on certain aspects because of various reasons. Recently, in science education research, the integrated perceptive has been to put emphasis on understanding complex situations of real teaching and learning. In this research context, the integrated mental model theory that were considered as a whole factor related to learning has been studied by integrating previous studies that related to students' conceptions and learning in various fields. Thus, it is needed that the teaching model be based on the integrated mental model theory to help students to solve their difficulties. The purpose of this research was to develop a new teaching model based on the integrated mental model theory to address this issue. We reviewed current studies on student difficulties and teaching models. After this, we developed 4M learning cycle teaching model. In this paper, we described the process of developing a new teaching model and discussed how to apply this teaching model to the practices. We also discussed the effects of 4M learning cycle teaching model based on the integrated mental model theory in learning science with its implications.

The recent domestic violence research has emphasized an integrated approach to wife battering and child abuse to overcome separated understanding and problem-solving alternatives of the two phenomena in the past. This phenomenological study is designed to understand struggles and dilemmas of battered women and their children related to their surviving and coping with domestic violence in a mother-child relationship. In-depth interviews were conducted with ten battered women who have children and reside in shelters in Seoul and Anyang, and were analyzed by Atlas.ti(a qualitative software program) to maximize the efficiency of data analysis. Domestic violence can be transformed into and integrated with child abuse anytime, so battered women and their children share their crises and challenges related to motherliness and filial love. However, the mutual, existential meaning embedded in the mother-child relationship can be the most important sources to mobilize their life energy and resilience in their copping efforts. The social work interventions for battered women and their children should be integrated with a premise of deep understanding of the complex realities of domestic violence victims.

In the past, rice bakanae was considered an endemic disease that did not cause significant losses in Korea; however, the disease has recently become a serious threat due to climate change, changes in farming practices, and the emergence of fungicide-resistant strains. Since the bakanae outbreak in 2006, its incidence has gradually decreased due to the application of effective control measures such as hot water immersion methods and seed disinfectants. However, in 2013, a marked increase in bakanae incidence was observed, causing problems for rice farmers. Therefore, in this review, we present the potential risks from climate change based on an epidemiological understanding of the pathogen, host plant, and environment, which are the key elements influencing the incidence of bakanae. In addition, disease management options to reduce the disease pressure of bakanae below the economic threshold level are investigated, with a specific focus on resistant varieties, as well as chemical, biological, cultural, and physical control methods. Lastly, as more effective countermeasures to bakanae, we propose an integrated disease management option that combines different control methods, including advanced imaging technologies such as remote sensing. In this review, we revisit and examine bakanae, a traditional seed-borne fungal disease that has not gained considerable attention in the agricultural history of Korea. Based on the understanding of the present significance and anticipated risks of the disease, the findings of this study are expected to provide useful information for the establishment of an effective response strategy to bakanae in the era of climate change.

This study attempts an appropriate Christian understanding and application of the metaverse. To this end, the general concept, type, and utilization of the metaverse were examined, and the main characteristics of the metaverse were analyzed in three main categories by the association of the concepts and the common factors. Based on this, the main focus of the Christian understanding of the metaverse found in this study is, first, the "transcendental worldview" of the metaverse. Applications include restructuring the Christian worldview and creating a Christian metaverse environment for future generations. Second, it is a "fusion and composite on- and offline" understanding of the metaverse. An integrated on- and off-line understanding of the church, worship, mission, and the missional acceptance of the metaverse are its applications. Third, in the metaverse, it is an "extension of the functionality of the avatar." This presents its application tasks, such as establishing human identity, expanding the concepts of empathy and communication, and expanding Christian ethics and economic views. At the heart of the Christian understanding of the metaverse is worldview, mission, and understanding on human being.

The Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control(IPPC) has attracted western developed countries for their idealistic environmental prevention concept which corresponds to the principal of Industrial Ecology. Specially the United Kingdom has been interested in those topics earlier than other countries and carried out environmental prevention polices since 1970's. As a result of these efforts, United Kingdom gave effects EU on developing European IPPC directives. The United Kingdom recognized the importance of the integrated pollution control through the report of Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution(RCEP) in 1976. Further, the United Kingdom developed the report and resulted the Integrated Pollution Control Directives under Environmental Protection Law in 1990. In the process of the legislation, it established and developed the concept of Best Practicable Environmental Option(BPEO) for the regulations, administrative systems, and environmental control. These efforts of the United Kingdom has implications for South Korean policies in adopting Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control system. Thus, this study examines IPPC directives to broaden the understanding of the system and develop policies.

Teacher reeducation is required to be comfortable with the 'Integrated science' subject as introduced in the 2015 revised curriculum. In this research, we designed in-service teacher training programs according to the types of secondary school science teacher's certificates, and developed ways to improve in-service science teachers' competencies. Through Delphi surveys with 22 science education experts, we investigated the features of the 2015 revised 'Integrated science' curriculum in light of its characteristics, purposes, contents system, contents, and so on, and explored teachers' competencies to teach the subject. Based on the analysis of the features of each type of secondary school science teachers' certification and required teacher competencies for teaching 'Integrated science', we developed three types of teacher training programs: in-service training courses for understanding the 2015 revised 'Integrated science' (Type A), in-service training courses for 'Integrated science' (Type B), and in-service teacher training certificate program for 'Integrated science' (Type C). For each teacher training program, we suggested the target of the training program in light of teacher certificates, operation systems, and ways to organize the program. In addition, we also suggested ways to improve 'Integrated science' teacher education programs for pre-service as well as in-service teachers, and examined ways to improve educational requirements for qualification in 'Integrated science' teaching based on the opinions of experts. Discussed in the conclusion are ways to design in-service teacher training programs for 'Integrated science' teaching and ways to improve 'Integrated science' teacher training.
