The article reflects short-term perspectives on the use of information and communication technologies in the training of teachers for higher education. Education is characterized by conservatism, so aspects of systematic development of the industry are relevant to this cluster of social activity. Therefore, forecasting the introduction of innovative elements of ICT training is in demand for the educational environment. Forecasting educational trends are most relevant exactly in the issues of training future teachers of higher education because these specialists are actually the first to implement the acquired professional skills in pedagogical activities. The article aims to consider the existing potential of ICT-based learning, its implementation in the coming years, and promising innovative educational elements that may become relevant for the educational space in the future. The tasks of scientific exploration are to show the optimal formats of synergy between traditional and innovative models of learning. Based on already existing experience, extrapolation of conditions of educational process organization with modeling realities of using information and communication technologies in various learning dimensions should be carried out. Educational trends for the next 3 years are a rather tentative forecast because, as demonstrated by the events associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the socio-cultural space is very changeable. Consequently, the dynamism of the educational environment dictates the need for a value-based awareness of the information society and the practical use of technological advances. Thus, information and communication technologies are a manifestation of innovative educational strategies of today and become an important component along with traditional aspects of educational process organization. Future higher education teachers should develop a training strategy taking into account the expediency of the ICT component.

The authors of the study highlight the conceptual foundations of the investment mechanism of innovation of enterprises in the context of strategic development. Such indicators of investment attraction for the enterprise as investment attractiveness, investment activity of the enterprise, critical mass of investments, minimum sufficiency of investments and others are singled out. It is proved that the balance of investment resources is facilitated by the action of the investment mechanism of innovation activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of strategic development tasks. Investment processes and their intensification have an impact on the expansion of production capacity of economic entities in strategic development and on improving the efficiency of existing capacities. The investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievement of tasks of strategic development contains system of complex actions which provides: definition of the clear purpose and tasks for the mechanism and achievement of the purposes of the enterprise; assessment of the investment potential of the enterprise; definition of tasks of innovative development of enterprises and investment resources necessary for this purpose, etc. The tasks of the investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of tasks of strategic development and its economic, organizational and information components are singled out, as well as levers of influence and regulators of the investment mechanism of innovation in the enterprise.

Purpose: This research is aimed to study the level of the intellectual potential distribution, as well as the correlation between economic growth and key indicators of intellectual potential in each region of Kazakhstan. A review of the conceptual framework shows that there is a large body of research evaluating the level of intellectual potential in different ways based on different factors. Research design, data, and methodology: The research methodology is divided into two groups the integral index method using the normalization of indicators, weighting, and ranking; the method of correlation analysis. By the proposed methodological approaches, were calculated a set of factors affect the distribution of the intellectual potential. Statistics are taken for indicators of development of the intellectual potential for 2011-2020 from the Bureau of National Statistics. Results: Ranking results showed gaps between regions in Kazakhstan by the level of intellectual potential. Correlation analysis results revealed a statistically significant relationship on expenditures on R&D, computer literacy, innovative products, number of PhD students, and cultural and leisure indicators. Conclusions: Based on the obtained results of the intellectual potential level development there were given recommendations for the reproduction and regulation of the intellectual potential in the future.

The world of smart agribusiness is still far from being fully and effectively applied by the Italian entrepreneurial fabric. In part, this is due to the fact that its potential and important connections with the technological world of reference are not fully known. The imperative is therefore: to learn how to manage all the processes that characterize the agricultural chain in a synergistic way, from production to the sale of the product to the final consumer. It is therefore essential to know every minimum aspect of the supply chain considering the current strengths on which to leverage but especially the weaknesses on which to intervene thanks to the use of technology available on the market. Today, the supply chain is still considered as a set of phases, one consecutive to the other, as if they were detached from each other. However, in order to operate efficiently, each step should be interconnected: from the farmer's decision to produce an agricultural good to the choice of production factors, from the implementation of harvesting and post-harvest operations to processing, from the selection of goods suitable for sale to the logic of distribution on the target territory. This work investigates the potential strategy using digital technologies in order to make dynamic the agribusiness supply chain, especially because in Italy the agri-food is one of the most important economic sectors but it is far from the most innovative trends available on the market.

Despite the exponential throughput improvement in mobile communications systems, their ability to satisfy requirements of state-of-the-art and future applications of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) is still under investigation. Challenges are mainly due to the inadequacy of third generation partnership project (3GPP) networks to support large amounts of devices simultaneously, while the number of AMI end-devices and the frequency of their data transmission increase with new AMI-based applications. In this introductory survey, innovative and future AMI applications and their communication requirements are first reviewed. Then, we identify challenges of 3GPP long term evolution (LTE) in enabling future AMI applications. More importantly, the latest improvements to LTE-A standard release 12 and 13 are reviewed and analyzed with regards to their potential to improve the quality of LTE-enabled AMI. It is found that 3GPP enhancements on machine type communications (MTC) standards will significantly enhance AMI communications. Beyond MTC specifications, non-MTC-specific enhancements such as carrier aggregation and multi-connectivity for user equipment will also contribute greatly to improving reliability and availability of AMI devices. The paper's focus is towards improved backhaul support for innovative and future AMI applications, beyond traditional automatic meter reading.

Digital transformation plays a critical role in making hospitality and tourism organizations create new business processes and customer experiences. Thus, this study provides an overview of the current use of these technologies in the hospitality industry and their potential advantages and opportunities. In particular, the metaverse and immersive virtual reality (VR) technology are gaining popularity in the hospitality industry, offering new opportunities for innovation and driving core values. This study discusses the current use of VR and metaverse and potential advantages and opportunities for researchers and practitioners in the hospitality and tourism context. Thus, we provide suggestions and implications for hospitality and tourism industry stakeholders to increase core values and business performance and create sustainable competitive advantages over other market players through VR and metaverse.

Purpose: this study is aimed at assessing the contribution of education and innovation to the economic growth of Kazakhstan, the correlation between them is checked based on two levels on a national scale and a regional scale. Based on the literature review, it was revealed that in the vastness of the scientific community, there are many views concerning the influence of educational and innovative factors on economic growth. Research design, data and methodology: the research methodology is divided into two levels, at the first level, a correlation analysis is carried out between key factors and the economic growth of the country (GDP), at the second level, the same factors are analyzed, but the impact on the economic growth of the region (GRP) is estimated. Statistical data on educational and innovation potential is taken from the Bureau of National Statistics for the period 2003-2021. Results: in this study, it was revealed that the economic development of regions could be influenced by such indicators that cannot affect the entire state in aggregate and vice versa. In addition, the correlation analysis results showed that investments in innovations affect economic growth at the country and the regional level. Conclusions: based on the results of the assessment of educational and innovative potential, policy recommendations and further research in this area were proposed.

본 연구는 기업의 자율성을 강화하는 내용은 담은 2012년 화장품법 전면 개정이 화장품 산업에 가져온 혁신 효과를 실증적으로 검증해보고자 한다. 2008년-2014년 식품의약품안전처의 화장품 생산실적 자료를 이용하여 패널고정효과 모형을 추정한 결과, 법 개정 이후 화장품 제조업체 당 평균 생산액과 생산량 등 생산실적이 유의하게 증가함을 확인하였다. 또한 법 개정에 따라 화장품 제조업체의 제품혁신 성과, 즉 품목 수와 신제품 수가 모두 유의하게 증가하는 것도 확인할 수 있었다. 추가적으로 혁신을 유발하는 하나의 경로로서 잠재시장의 확대를 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 화장품법의 개정과 화장품 시장의 잠재적인 규모가 양의 상관관계를 가지며, 잠재시장규모의 증가는 기업의 혁신 활동을 증가시킴을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 정부의 제도 개선이 산업의 혁신과 진흥에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 점을 보여준다.

This study investigates the potential of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT)-generated cephalograms as a replacement for conventional lateral cephalograms (LCs) in children and adolescents. This retrospective study included 60 individuals, equally divided into permanent and mixed dentition groups. Both groups underwent conventional LCs and CBCT scans on the same day. LCs were then derived from CBCT scans. The same examiner performed digital measurements twice, with a week's interval, identifying landmarks and obtaining 7 angular and 5 linear measurements. In the permanent dentition group, significant differences were observed between the two imaging modalities for 6 angular and 2 linear measurements. In the mixed dentition group, significant differences were observed for 3 angular and 2 linear measurements. However, none of these differences exceeded the clinically acceptable limit of 2.0° or 2.0 mm. No significant differences in any measurement were found between the two groups (p < 0.05). CBCT-generated LCs demonstrated comparable results with good reliability in both dentition groups, suggesting their potential as suitable alternatives for children and adolescents who require CBCT for clinical purposes.

Application of the steel ring as a type of seismic fuse has been one of the efforts made by researchers in recent years aiming to enhance the ductility of the bracing systems which in turn, possesses various advantages and disadvantages. Accordingly, to alleviate these disadvantages, an innovative bracing system with a diamond scheme equipped with a steel ring is introduced in this paper. In this system, the braces and yielding circular damper act in parallel whose main functionality is to increase ductility, energy absorption and mitigate drawbacks of the existing bracing systems, in which the braces and yielding circular damper act in parallel. To conduct the experimental tests, specimens with three types of rigid, semi-rigid and pinned connections were built and subjected to cyclic loading so that their performance could be analyzed. Promisingly, the results indicate both great applicability and efficiency of the proposed system in energy absorption and ductility. Moreover, it was concluded that as the braces and damper are in parallel, the use of a steel ring with smaller size and thickness would result in higher energy absorption and load-resisting capacity when compared to the other existing systems. Finally, to assess the potential of numerically modeling the proposed system, its finite element model was simulated by ABAQUS software and observed that there is a great agreement between the numerical and experimental results.
