In nursing education, there has been efforts for enhancing the quality, with a growing interest in the utilization of digital technologies. In clinical training of nursing curriculum, the emphasis on digital technology is pronounced, as it has the potential to offer learners effective and accessible educational experience while enabling the integrated management of individualized learning outcomes. This study developed a digital nursing education platform, allowing educators and learners to select functionalities based on the educational content and characteristics of the learning tools. Additionally, the user interface was designed to facilitate learners' accurate understanding and execution of assigned tasks and objectives. The detailed design and implementation process of the platform are elaborated and then the validation of its usefulness was provided based on feedback from ten educators who are responsible for diverse subjects. The high usability of the digital nursing practicum education platform was confirmed, with potential implications for significant improvements in learner performance. The potential of this digital platform is to lead to innovative shifts in educational methodologies within the field of integrative nursing education.

Makerspace was constructed to assist the public in creating new business, industry and market opportunities by combining their creative ideas with technology. So far, in Korea, a total of 58 makerspaces have been constructed and are running currently. Makerspaces are equipped with a variety of high-tech devices such as 3D printing technology and a laser cutter as means for transforming ideas into their prototypes. In this study, we examined users' experiences in makerspaces using online questionnaires and face-to-face interviews. We then presented motivations for using makerspace, interest in using it, concerns about using technologies, and other issues related to using makerspaces. Based on the results, we proposed three suggestions to improve users' experiences in makerspaces. These suggestions include: (1) supporting teaching and learning practices in makerspaces, (2) providing professional development opportunities for instructors in makerspaces, and (3) promoting innovative services that accommodate diverse users' needs.

As makerspaces continue to be introduced in academic libraries in Korea, this study explores potential operating strategies of, and long-term justifications for, makerspaces as digital literacy eduational spaces and services at academic libraries. By examining related literature reviews and case studies of makerspaces, this study analyzes various programs and their respective creation, funding, development, and outcomes, including educational value and library-specific goals such as digital literacy and lifelong learning. This study also considers the perspectives of librarians at academic libraries in Korea who were asked about the purpose, impact, and limitations of makerspaces. Certain common themes appear: for example, it is necessary for makerspaces to resolve challenges related to stable funding, as well as staffing and training of professional librarians assisting with the on-the-ground operation of makerspaces. This study proposes that designing makerspaces for an academic library setting goes deeper than providing a collaborative environment with access to new technologies like 3D printers and laser cutters, and it may be uniquely appropriate to draw connections to libraries' objectives to provide digital literacy education and universities' mission to foster innovation and creativity among students.
Recently, as the ICT field has been used in various environments, it has become possible to analyze pests by crops, use robots when harvesting crops, and predict by big data by utilizing ICT technologies in a sustainable agricultural environment. However, in a sustainable agricultural environment, efforts to solve resource depletion, agricultural population decline, poverty increase, and environmental destruction are constantly being demanded. This paper proposes an artificial intelligence-based big data processing analysis method to reduce the production cost and increase the efficiency of crops based on a sustainable agricultural environment. The proposed technique strengthens the security and reliability of data by processing big data of crops combined with AI, and enables better decision-making and business value extraction. It can lead to innovative changes in various industries and fields and promote the development of data-oriented business models. During the experiment, the proposed technique gave an accurate answer to only a small amount of data, and at a farm site where it is difficult to tag the correct answer one by one, the performance similar to that of learning with a large amount of correct answer data (with an error rate within 0.05) was found.

Recent years have seen active research on methods for efficiently processing and interpreting large volumes of data in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. One of these data processing technologies, Vector Symbolic Architecture (VSA), offers an innovative approach to representing complex symbols and data using high-dimensional vectors. VSA has garnered particular attention in various applications such as natural language processing, image recognition, and robotics. This study quantitatively evaluates the characteristics and performance of VSA methodologies by applying five VSA methodologies to the MNIST dataset and measuring key performance indicators such as encoding speed, decoding speed, memory usage, and recovery accuracy across different vector lengths. BSC and VT demonstrated relatively fast performance in encoding and decoding speeds, while MAP and HRR were relatively slow. In terms of memory usage, BSC was the most efficient, whereas MAP used the most memory. The recovery accuracy was highest for MAP and lowest for BSC. The results of this study provide a basis for selecting appropriate VSA methodologies depending on the application area.
Startups lack resources and manpower to build internal capabilities to strengthen market competitiveness; external cooperation such as joint research and networking plays is important. In this study, we analyzed the effect of startups' industry-university cooperation on organizational learning capability and innovation performance. Empirical results demonstrate the mechanism by which government R&D investment strengthens organizational learning capability and creates innovative results by promoting cooperation between startups and universities. First, industry-university cooperation strengthened organizational learning capability. An empirical analysis shows that startups increase internal capabilities through external cooperation. Second, startups' organizational learning capability had a significant effect on innovation performance. We analyze how organizations with high learning capabilities positively develop corporate innovation performance by having a culture of discovery and sharing new ideas. Finally, industry-university cooperation had different effects on organizational learning capability and innovation performance according to the previous experiences of startup founders. In particular, small- and medium-sized (startup) businesses and individual-based experience groups positively affected the creation of organizational learning capabilities and innovation performance through industry-university cooperation. Small- and medium-sized businesses and individual founders have a relatively small cooperative network with the outside world compared to founders of large companies, universities, and research institutes; therefore, they strengthen organizational learning capabilities through cooperation with universities. This study demonstrates that government should create policy inducements for cooperation with universities to maximize the R&D performance of startups. Criticism exists that lending support to startups and universities will hinder innovation performance; nevertheless, government investment plays a role in expanding intangible resources such as accumulating technologies, fostering high-quality human resources, and strengthening innovation networks. Therefore, the government should appropriately utilize the its authority to strengthen investment strategies for startup growth.
The advent of new platforms each year along with the advancement of technology provides a new opportunity for digital media designers to develop creative and innovative contents. This phenomenon affect the same way the students that major in the digital media, and the use of the platforms that is based on the new technology in the development of contents gives a newer and useful opportunity for learning to the students who recently study the digital media area. As the main technology of the recent digital media that attract many students' attention, we are presenting virtual reality display, movement cognition, physical engine and the gesture interface, and developed the consolidated platform based on these four technologies, and designed them in a way that can be more easily implemented in a simpler way. In order to study the efficiency of the platform with the objective of the development of digital media contents, we have developed four different prototype contents, and have measured based on the user's preference, efficiency and satisfaction. In the results of usability evaluation, functionality, effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction were rated as 'high'. This results shows that the suggested 3D platform environment provides students to develop a rapid prototype fast and easy, and this may have a positive influence on students major in the digital media to conduct creative development research.

Digital humanities, which creates new and innovative knowledge through the combination of digital information technology and humanities research problems, can be seen as a representative multidisciplinary field of study. To investigate the intellectual structure of the digital humanities field, a network analysis of authors and keywords co-word was performed on a total of 441 papers in the last two years (2019, 2020) at the Digital Humanities Conference. As the results of the author and keyword analysis show, we can find out the active activities of Europe, North America, and Japanese and Chinese authors in East Asia. Through the co-author network, 11 dis-connected sub-networks are identified, which can be seen as a result of closed co-authoring activities. Through keyword analysis, 16 sub-subject areas are identified, which are machine learning, pedagogy, metadata, topic modeling, stylometry, cultural heritage, network, digital archive, natural language processing, digital library, twitter, drama, big data, neural network, virtual reality, and ethics. This results imply that a diver variety of digital information technologies are playing a major role in the digital humanities. In addition, keywords with high frequency can be classified into humanities-based keywords, digital information technology-based keywords, and convergence keywords. The dynamics of the growth and development of digital humanities can represented in these combinations of keywords.
This study analyzed the relationship between organizational innovative capability and absorptive capacity, market and technology orientations, and their impact on business performance for IT-BPO companies that are required to absorb new technologies from a leading perspective in the digital transformation era. To achieve this, an online specialized research company and offline surveys were conducted on 291 domestic IT-BPO companies, and SPSS 23 was used for descriptive statistics and reliability analysis while AMOS 23 was used for hypothesis testing including validity and mediating effects. The main findings were as follows: First, in the relationship between innovation and absorptive capabilities and Market Orientation Strategic(MOS), learning capability and knowledge network capability were found to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect on MOS. In the relationship between innovation and absorptive capabilities and Technology Orientation Strategic(TOS), R&D capability, potential absorptive capacity, and realized absorptive capacity had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on TOS. Second, in the relationship between innovation and absorptive capabilities and BP, only R&D capability was found to have a significant effect on BP. Third, both market orientation and technology orientation were found to have a significant positive (+) effect on BP. These findings suggest that effective competency factors can be identified according to the market and technology orientations pursued by IT-BPO companies to increase their growth and value creation, and provide implications for developing differentiated competency enhancement strategies based on strategic objectives.

The entrepreneurial activities of college students play a significant role in modern economic and social development, particularly as a solution to the changing economic landscape and youth unemployment issues. Introducing innovative ideas and technologies into the market through entrepreneurship can contribute to sustainable economic growth and social value. Additionally, the entrepreneurial intentions of college students are shaped by various factors, making it crucial to deeply understand and appropriately support these elements. To this end, this study systematically explores the importance and impact of role models through a multiple serial mediation analysis. Through a survey of 300 college students, the study analyzed how two psychological variables, growth mindset and entrepreneurial self-efficacy, mediate the influence of role models on entrepreneurial intentions. The presence and success stories of role models were found to enhance the growth mindset of college students, which in turn boosts their entrepreneurial self-efficacy and ultimately strengthens their entrepreneurial intentions. The analysis revealed that exposure to role models significantly influences the formation of a growth mindset among college students. This mindset fosters a positive attitude towards viewing challenges and failures in entrepreneurship as learning opportunities. Such a mindset further enhances entrepreneurial self-efficacy, thereby strengthening the intention to engage in entrepreneurial activities. This research offers insights by integrating various theories, such as mindset theory and social learning theory, to deeply understand the complex process of forming entrepreneurial intentions. Practically, this study provides important guidelines for the design and implementation of college entrepreneurship education. Utilizing role models can significantly enhance students' entrepreneurial intentions, and educational programs can strengthen students' growth mindset and entrepreneurial self-efficacy by sharing entrepreneurial experiences and knowledge through role models. In conclusion, this study provides a systematic and empirical analysis of the various factors and their complex interactions that impact the entrepreneurial intentions of college students. It confirms that psychological factors like growth mindset and entrepreneurial self-efficacy play a significant role in shaping entrepreneurial intentions, beyond mere information or technical education. This research emphasizes that these psychological factors should be comprehensively considered when developing and implementing policies and programs related to college entrepreneurship education.
