LED TV 스피커 프레임용 사출 성형공정 구현에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on implementation of injection molding process for speaker frame in LED TV)

  • Injection molding process is one of the most important methods to produce plastic parts with high efficiency and low cost. The objective of this study is to implement the best plastic injection molding process for LED TV speaker frame. Moldflow analysis and simulation of plastic injection molding process were carried out in order to predict optimal modeling operation conditions and then injection molded part was produced various type of resin temperature, filling time and injection pressure variation. the result was that the best injection molding condition is set as 60bar pressure, 2sec filling time and $310^{\circ}C$ degree. The study result would be useful to variety of plastic injection molding process.

광 편향기 집적 레이저 다이오드의 제작 및 광의 편향 (Fabrication of deflector integrated laser diodes and light deflection)

  • 광 편향기가 집적된 레이저 다이오드를 제작하고 편향기 주입전류에 따른 레이저 다이오드의 특성 변화 및 출력광의 편향을 조사하였다. 레이저 다이오드와 집적된 수동 도파로의 상부 클래드 층의 일부분에 광 편향기를 집적하고, 편향기의 전류 주입에 따른 굴절률 변화를 유도하여 출력광의 편향이 발생하도록 하였다. 편향기의 전류 주입에 따른 출력광의 특성변화를 조사하기 위하여 편향기 주입 전류에 따른 레이저 다이오드의 문턱 전류(threshold current), 발진 효율(slope efficiency) 및 출력광 스펙트럼을 측정하였다. 측정 결과, 편향기 전류의 증가에 따라 출력광의 문턱 전류는 증가하고, 발진 효율은 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으나 출력광의 스펙트럼에는 영향을 주지 않는 특성을 나타내었다. 또한, 이론적 계산을 통해 광 편향기를 지나는 광이 편향됨을 확인하고, 편향기 집적 레이저 다이오드에서 출력되는 광의 far-field pattern을 측정하여 편향기 주입 전류에 따른 출력광의 편향을 실험적으로 확인하였다. 제작된 광 편향기 집적 레이저 다이오드에서 15 ㎃의 광 편향기 주입 전류 변화에 대해서 1.9$^{\circ}$의 편향각 변화를 측정 할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는, SONOS 소자에서의 일반적인 CHE(Channel Hot Electron) 주입 방법과 기판 순바이어스를 이용한 새로운 전자 주입 방법의 프로그램 효율성에 대해 직접 비교하였다. 기존의 CHE 주입 방법과 비교해서, 새로운 전자 주입 방법은 낮은 구동전압, 빠른 프로그램 속도 등의 특성을 포함하여 높은 프로그램효율을 보였으며, 또한 드레인 영역에서의 순방향 읽기와 역방향 읽기의 문턱전압 차이가 1 V 가량 발생한다는 점에서 국소 주입 동작이 가능함을 확인하였다. 이렇게 제안된 전자주입 방법은 차세대 나노 크기 멀티-비트 SONOS 소자의 동작에 매우 유용하게 사용될 것으로 기대된다.

Efficiency and Lifetime Improvement of Organic Light- Emitting Diodes with a Use of Lithium-Carbonate- Incorportated Cathode Structure

  • Enhancement of efficiency and luminance of organic light-emitting diodes was investigated by the introduction of a lithium carbonate ($Li_2CO_3$) electron-injection layer. Electron-injection layer is used in organic light-emitting diodes to inject electrons efficiently between a cathode and an organic layer. A device structure of ITO/TPD (40 nm)/$Alq_3$ (60 nm)/$Li_2CO_3$ (x nm)/Al (100 nm) was manufactured by thermal evaporation, where the thickness of $Li_2CO_3$ layer was varied from 0 to 3.3 nm. Current density-luminance-voltage characteristics of the device were measured and analyzed. When the thickness of $Li_2CO_3$ layer is 0.7 nm, the current efficiency and luminance of the device at 8.0 V are improved by a factor of about 18 and 3,000 compared to the ones without the $Li_2CO_3$ layer, respectively. The enhancement of efficiency and luminance of the device with an insertion of $Li_2CO_3$ electron-injection layer is thought to be due to the lowering of an electron barrier height at the interface region between the cathode and the emissive layer. This is judged from an analysis of current density-voltage characteristics with a Fowler-Nordheim tunneling conduction mechanism model. In a study of lifetime of the device that depends on the thickness of $Li_2CO_3$ layer, the optimum thickness of $Li_2CO_3$ layer was obtained to be 1.1 nm. It is thought that an improvement in the lifetime is due to the prevention of moisture and oxygen by $Li_2CO_3$ layer. Thus, from the efficiency and lifetime of the device, we have obtained the optimum thickness of $Li_2CO_3$ layer to be about 1.0 nm.

지반침하 방지를 위한 고효율 수압식 충전 현장실험에 관한 연구 (Study on High-efficiency Hydraulic Filling Field Experiment for Subsidence Protection)

  • 최근 국내에서는 폐광산 지반보강공사를 실시함에 있어 수압식 충전법을 적용하는 사례가 증가하고 있으나 효율적인 충전법 적용을 위한 다양한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 수압식 충전공법의 충전효율 개선을 위한 충전재료의 입도, 충전관의 형태 및 충전관 직경을 변경해 가면서 현장실험을 실시하였다. No.100체 통과백분율이 16.3% 인 모래를 이용하여 수직관 및 이경티관의 종류에 따른 충전량을 실험결과, 수직관을 이용하여 수로관에 충전한 경우 모래 충전량이 28.84 ton이였고, 100 mm 이경티관을 사용하여 충전한 경우 모래 충전량이 42.62 ton, 80 mm 이경티관을 사용하여 충전한 경우 모래 충전량이 53.33 ton, 50 mm 이경티관을 사용하여 충전한 경우 모래 충전량이 63.33 ton으로 각각 약 47.8%, 84.9%, 119.6% 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 단순 충전관의 형태만 변경해도 충전 효과를 극대화 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

극초고압 디젤분무특성 해석을 위한 극초고압 단발분사장치의 개발 (A Developement of Ultra High Pressure Injection Equipment for Study on Diesel Spray Characteristics with Ultra High Pressure)

  • It was known that high pressure injection is an effective method to enhance thermal efficiency and decrease exhaust emissions in diesel engines. If injection pressure becomes ultra high, it is predicted that there may be a suitable injection pressure which the enhancement rate of spray characteristics is moderate. Also, there may be a limit injection pressure which spray characteristics is reversed and get worse. But these are unknown. To investigate a suitable injection pressure and a limit injection pressure, ultra high pressure injection equipment(UHPIE), which can realize the injection pressure of 3,200bar, was developed. UHPIE is a basic apparatus of single shot injection, and ultra high pressure was achieved by second stage rapid compression in short time. From the evaluation of UHPIE, a injection curve like a conventional diesel engine(jerk type) was realized. Also, it was proved that repetition of experiment was excellent. Therefore it was found that there was no problem to perform the study on the ultra high pressure injection with UHPIE. Consequently, the foundation of the study on ultra high pressure injection could be established.

Ferrate(VI)를 이용한 발전소 탈황폐수 처리에 관한 연구 (A study on the desulfurization wastewater treatment using Ferrate(VI))

  • Wastewater treatment using ferrate (VI) solution is becoming a promising technology for several years, because it is high efficient and harmless technology. In this study, the ferrate (VI) solution was tested to treatment of desulfurization wastewater. The effluent from desulfurization wastewater treatment process of power plant was used as raw water, and the COD and T-N removal efficiency of ferrate(VI) solution were investigated. In the test, as the injection rate increased from 0.1 to 1.0%, the removal efficiency of COD also slightly increased, about 80% of COD were removed in 1.0% of injection rate. In the case of T-N, about 50% of T-N was removed in the condition of 1.0% of injection rate. The removal efficiency of COD and T-N also affected by reaction time, maximum removal efficiency was shown in 30 min of treatment. From these results, the wastewater treatment with ferrate(VI) solution can be great solutions for treatment of non-biodegradable pollutants in wastewater, especially for the 3rd treatment of wastewater.

  • To investigate the effect of metal electrode in electroluminescent[EL] devices, we fabricated EL devices of ITO/P3HT/Al, ITO/P3HT/LiF/Al and ITO/P3HT/Mg:In structure. In current-voltage-light power characteristics, turn-on voltage of EL devices using LiF insulating layer and Mg:In(2.8V) metal electrode is lower than EL device using Al(4.2V). Besides the external quantum efficiency is improved also. The reason is related to carrier mobility and carrier injection, which would affect the hole-electron balance. In the device with Al electrode, holes injected from indium-tin-oxide[ITO] to poly(3-hexylthiophene)[P3HT] might reach the Al electrode without interacting with injected electrons, because the electron injection efficiency was very low for this electrode. Besides oxidation of the Al electrode is likely due to holes reaching the cathode without meeting injected electrons. Another possible reason for the higher EL efficiency may be the insulating layer playing the role of a tunneling barrier for holes to the Al electrode. In all EL devices, the orange-red light was clearly visible in a dark room. Maximum peak wavelength of EL spectrum emitted at 640nm in accordance with photon energy 1.9eV

  • As the management of fuel efficiency becomes globally reinforced in attempts to find an environment-friendly vehicle that will operate against global warming, the interest in and the demand for the type of vehicle with a high-efficiency diesel engine using light oil. However, it also emits a greater amount of PM (particulate matter) and NOx than emissions from vehicles using other types of fuels. Therefore, the DME (Dimethyl Ether), an oxygen containing fuel draws attention as an alternative fuel for light oil that can be used for diesel engines since it generates very little smoke. But to develop and compare performance of an electric controlled common-rail DME engine, engine tests requires optimized injection conditions at required engine RPM and engine torque. These injection conditions cannot be set freely and the data configuration through the experimentally repeated application requires much time as well as a significant amount of errors and effort. The object of this study is to configure the basic injection map using the results of the DME engine experiments performed so far. For this, in this study, the functionalization of the required equations were performed along with the basic review of the factors that had influence on the data map. Through this, the information on the injection pressure, injection amount, injection duration, injection timing, etc. under certain operation condition could be obtained.

스풀밸브를 이용한 축압식 연료분사계의 작동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Accumulator Type Fuel Injection System with Spool Valve)

  • Fuel injection system is very important in diesel combustion. Recently electronic control of fuel injection system and common rail systems are introduced to reduce the emission and to increase the energy efficiency from diesel engine by control of the injection timing and duration. In this study, evaluation possibility of the system for electronic control by spool valve, one of the accumulator type injection systems with spool valve using solenoid was composed and the operating characteristics were investigated to evaluate the effects of spring coefficient, initial spring force, solenoid driving time, fuel supply pressure on the injection timing and duration. We could confirm the capability that diesel injection was electronically controlled by spool valve.
