  • System usage, the utilization of information technology(IT) by individuals, groups or organizations, is a core variable in IS research. Indeed, there is widespread agreement among researchers that system usage is the primary variable through which IT affects white collar performance because it is a requisite, albeit insufficient, for deriving the benefits of IT. Furthermore, system usage has a notable practical value for managers interested in evaluating the impact of IT. Despite the number of studies of targeted at explaining system usage, there are more areas which required for the verification of system usage. The purpose of this paper is to address, using the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM), the usage pattern of AHP toward the various task in group decision (GD). The result showed that, for the all of the task types, perceived usage (PU) has more effect than perceived ease-of-use(PEU) on the AHP usage. However, more researches are required to generalize the result of this study.

Profile Analysis of Elementary School Students' Smart Device Usage

  • Smart devices have a variety of affordances to foster meaningful learning in elementary school. For the design of smart learning environments, more research is needed to understand students' smart device usage and their perception of learning with smart devices. In order to capture smart device usage profiles among elementary school students in South Korea, this study carried out Latent Profile Analysis with three constructs: information search, communication, and study. Participants (n=253), who ranged from the fourth to the sixth grade students, were classified into three profiles of smart device usage: low-activity, communication, and high-activity groups. The smart device usage profiles varied depending on smartphone usage experience, and the profiles were significantly related with smart device addiction, not with smart device usage ability. Perceptions of smart education were also significantly associated with the profiles. The high-activity group showed more positive attitudes toward smart education than the others, but no significant difference was found in regard to negative attitudes. Based on the findings, this study discussed implications for the use of smart devices in elementary school.

  • This study investigated the effects of smart phone usage motives and fashion brand app factors upon the intention to accept fashion brand applications. Data were collected from 250 female college students living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. 220 reliable data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, ANOVA,, Duncan test, paired t-test, chi-square analysis, regression. The results were as follows: Firstly, the 'information acquisition' and the'use of time' were considered to be the most important motive factors driving consumer's smart phone usage. Secondly, the motives underpinning smart phone user's intention to accept a fashion brand application were 'social relationships', 'entertainment', and 'information acquisition'. Thirdly, the frequently used factors during the usage of fashion brand application could be classified in order of frequency as follows: 'product information provision', 'store information provision', 'coordinated information provision', 'fashion information provision', 'entertainment provision', 'hobbies and life information provision', virtual wearing provision', 'SNS provision', and, 'events and coupons provision'. Fourthly, a factor analysis of these nine factors were classified into 'basic information type', and 'additional information type'. The influences of basic information type and the additional information type upon the intention to accept the fashion brand application showed the following significant result: The basic information type had a greater influence upon the intention to accept the fashion brand app.

감염관리를 위한 항생제 사용량 데이터마트의 구축 (Building the Data Mart on Antibiotic Usage for Infection Control)

  • 병원정보시스템에 저장되어 있는 자료들은 적절성 평가 및 질관리를 향상시키는 데 있어 많은 잠재력을 가지고 있으며 이를 기반으로 하는 데이터웨어하우스의 구축은 질 관리의 향상과 임상진료에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 감염관리 정보의 체계적이고 효과적인 자료 분석을 위한 일환으로 항생제 사용량 분석이 가능한 데이터마트를 구축하였다. 감염관리의 구성요소 및 평가 척도를 선정 후 XML DTD 방법으로 메타데이터를 설계하였고 모델링을 통해 데이터마트를 구축하여 항생제 사용량 분석을 위한 다차원 분석 도구인 OLAP를 시현하였다. 실험 자료는 1997년 7월 한 달 동안의 천안 지역의 일개 대학병원의 항생제 사용량 자료를 이용하였다. 감염관리 메타데이터의 상위요소는 항생제 내성 정보, 항생제 사용량 정보, 감염 정보, 검사 정보, 환자 정보 및 감염 관련 비용으로서 구성하였다. 이 중 항생제 사용량 정보를 스타 스키마에 적용하기 위한 데이터베이스의 설계를 하여 데이터마트를 구축하였다. 그리고 일 개월 간 사용된 항생제 사용량에 대해 OLAP을 시현하였다. 본 연구는 XML과 OLAP 기술의 구현을 통해 항생제 사용량에 대한 감염관리 데이터마트를 수립하였다. 개념적이고 구조화된 데이터마트의 구축은 감염관리 정보에 대해 신속하고 다양한 분석을 제공할 것으로 사료되었다.

사용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 SNS 이용 동기에 관한 연구 - 페이스북 사용자를 중심으로 - (Study on SNS usage motivations affecting user satisfaction - Focused on facebook users -)

  • The technological advances within the Internet industry have led to a revolution in terms of how people communicate with each other. For example, users are no longer limited to using face to face interactions to connect and communicate with their peers but can use email, instant messaging and more. A recent trend that researchers are observing is the adaption of SNS. SNS such as facebook and myspace has been a dominant global trend and has grown dramatically in the past 5 years. The purpose of this study was to test SNS usage motivations influencing the user satisfaction. The research model was developed based on literature review. SNS usage motivations consist of five factors: expression, relationship formation, social exchange, information seeking, trend. 189 questionnaires were used for the main part of regression analysis. The analysis results revealed that relationship formation, social exchange and information seeking were very significant factors influencing the user satisfaction. Especially, social exchange was the most significant factor. We can prospect that importance of user satisfaction on SNS usage motivations is more and more increasing in the future.

관광객의 정보이용이 관광주유행동에 미치는 영향분석 (Tourists' Excursion Behavior Analysis Considering Their Information Usage)

  • 본 논문은 관광객의 정보이용을 고려한 관광주유행동 분석 목적으로 구조방정식 시스템을 적용한 모형을 구축하였다. 관광주유행동은 관광지 도착이후부터 귀가까지를 다루는 것으로 관광지내 활동과 시간, 관광지점수 등의 지표로 설명하고 있다. 이러한 관광주유행동지표들은 상호 상관관계가 있다는 가정에 구조방정식의 내생변수로 취급하였다. 또한 내생변수들은 지역인지도, 정보이용행동, 개인속성 등에 영향을 받는 것으로 가정하고 있다. 본 모형의 사례분석은 일본 후지 5호 관광지의 관광실태자료를 이용해 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 관광주유행동 모형은 내생변수간의 공분산관계를 통계적 분석으로 다루는 것이 가능해 기존 이산선택 방법론보다 간단하게 관광지의 정보이용 효과를 분석할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • 인체 정보는 의료, 스포츠, 안전, 군사, 게임 등 각 분야에 다양하게 활용될 수 있는 국가적인 정보 인프라라 할 수 있다. KISTI는 2000년부터 한국인의 인체영상, 골격영상, 골격물성, 인체골격모델 등의 정보를 구축하기 시작하여 현재에도 인체 데이터를 계속 생산하고 있으며 이러한 데이터를 필요로 하는 대학의 연구자 및 산업체에 보급함으로써 다양한 분야에서 한국인의 인체 데이터의 활용을 도모하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구사례로서 해외의 인체정보 활용사례와 KISTI가 개발하여 국내외에 보급하고 있는 한국인의 인체정보에 대해 활용 내용을 중심으로 하여 활용의 주요한 특징과 시사점에 대해 조사한 결과를 소개한다.

대학생의 도서관 이용과 학업성취도 간의 영향관계 분석 (The Relationship Analysis Between Academic Library Usage and Academic Achievement)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 다양한 도서관 이용이 학업성취에 어떤 영향을 주고 있는 지를 밝히는 것이다. 분석에 필요한 데이터는 S대학교 학부생을 대상으로 대학도서관 이용과 학생들의 평점평균(GPA) 정보를 수집하였다. 대학생의 배경변인에 따른 도서관 이용요인과 학업성취도 간의 차이검증은 t검증과 분산분석을 실시하였고, 도서관 이용요인과 학업성취도 간의 영향관계 규명을 위해서는 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 학생의 성별, 학년, 전공계열에 따른 도서관 이용과 학업성취도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 도서관 이용요인은 학업성취도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 도서관의 학술정보 자료와 학습시설을 많이 이용하는 학생이 더 높은 등급의 학업성취도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Mobile banking brings about a progressive change in the field of banking sectors in Bangladesh. To create a sustainable banking environment, technological implementation is important. As a part of this, many organizations as well as modern banks propelled mobile banking systems in Bangladesh. The customers' attitudes towards mobile banking are fascinating in Bangladesh. So, it is important for mobile banking authority to know what factors influence customers' positive attitude towards mobile banking usage and whether they are facing problems in using mobile banking. To evaluate the customers' attitude toward mobile banking usage in Bangladesh is the main objective of this study. People who use mobile banking have been considered for the study. Respondents were reached out based on their online activities. Around 400 questionnaires have been sent to respondents, but only 200 were returned with responses. A quantitative research design was used for this study. As regards statistical analysis tools, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and regression analysis have been adopted for analyzing the research study. The results revealed that usage benefits, shopping benefits, and psychological factors influence customers' positive attitude toward mobile banking usage in Bangladesh. Besides, some problems with mobile banking usage are identified by the respondents.

An Application of TAM and TRI on the Factors Affecting Internet Banking Adoption in Bangladesh

  • This study assesses the Internet banking adoption tendency by existing bank customers of Bangladesh. Currently, almost all the leading banks in the country have implemented Internet banking platforms. However, the active user count remains relatively low and there hasn't been any conclusive research on the drivers and inhibitors of Internet banking. This study evaluates the reasons and quantitatively establishes the factors leading to the adoption and usage continuance of internet banking by existing bank customers. Responses from 460 bank account holders were collected via online questionnaires using a purposive sampling approach, and a core conceptual framework based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology Readiness Index (TRI) was used. The study concluded that internet banking adoption is significantly impacted by the ease of use, customer service, and technology familiarity. Similarly, customer satisfaction is affected by the perceived value and the perceived risk. Through regression analysis, it was found that usage continuance is 89% explained by adoption and customer satisfaction. Multi-group moderation showed significant impact by groups divided based on usage frequency, income level, and age. Perceived risk weakened the impact of perceived value and technology familiarity on usage adoption. Additionally, perceived risk reduced the impact of consumer satisfaction and usage continuance.
