통신서비스의 진화 모형을 개발하고 전략을 수립하기 위해서는 어떤 서비스 이용자 그룹이 어떠한 형태의 정보통신 욕구를 표출하고자 하는지를 우선 파악하고, 각종 정보통신 욕구의 잠재시장 규모를 추정하여 그 시장 규모에 근거한 서비스 진화 계획을 수립하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이용자의 용구측면에서 서비스들의 분류 체계 및 서비스들이 갖는 기능의 분류 체계를 수립하고, 서비스, 단말기 및 통신망 들이 갖는 기능의 속성을 분류하여 서비스 진화 계획을 위한 근간을 제공한다.

본 연구는 개정 $\ulcorner$도서관법$\lrcorner$에서 도서관정책의 지방분권에 있어서 가장 핵심적 수단으로 제시하고 있는 지역대표도서관의 설립 또는 지정 운영이 보다 안정적으로 추진될 수 있는 방안을 모색할 목적에서 수행되었다. 이를 위해 지역에 따라 재정, 인력, 정책 우선순위 등에서 매우 큰 편차를 보이고 있는 시 도에게 지역대표도서관의 역할과 기능, 업무를 상세히 설명하고, 지역대표도서관 설립 운영과 관련해 도움이 될 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

현재 통신 및 네트워크 시장은 기존의 IT기반 서비스와 3G기반 서비스의 공통된 기능을 고려하지 않고 독립적으로 구축되어 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 SDP(Service Delivery Platform)구조 및 인터페이스 연구는 서비스 제공자가 다양한 네트워크 구조의 제한 없이 서비스 개발을 가능하게 할 것이며, 사용자에게 효과적으로 서비스를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 SDP/IMS의 구조 및 인터페이스를 제안하고, SDP의 기본이 되는 구성 요소인 Presence 서비스 구동자 구현 환경을 제시한다.

In this paper, we propose the enhanced priority control algorithm that adaptively controls the cell service ratio according to the relative cell occupancy ratio of buffer. The asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) provides the means to support various multimedia services in broadband networks. To support multimedia services, various data traffics of different priorities should be controlled effectively. And also it needs congestion control functions required in the netowrk to carry out the control operation. To accomplish this in a flexible and effective manner, priority classes for the different services ar ecommonly used. The proposed enhanced priority control mechanism have two service calsses of the delay sensitive class and the loss sensitive class. The simulation results show that te proposed control mechanism improves the QoS, the charateristics of cell loss probability and mean cell delay time, by selecting propeor relativ ecell occupancy ratio of buffer and the average arrival rate.

Next generation mobile networks will be demanded to support high speed data and multimedia services in addition to extisting serviced including voice communications. In this paper, we discuss the requirements of the wireless service with broad range of appkications, and present several types of architecture for future bobile network. After a brief comparative analysis, we propose a most practical and feasible one. And also, we discuss possible interworking scenarios between radio access system and intelligent network. In consideration of the selected infrastructure and scenario, we present protocol architectures and basic functions of radio access system. Based on the architecture, we believe that the itegrated system can be realized with such advantages of easy interworking, high feasibility on common services, easy introduction to new services, and unified operation.

모바일의 확산으로 인한 SNS 서비스의 이용이 날로 증가하고 있다. SNS의 서비스는 통신과 Social 기능으로 인한 많은 이점과 사용자들에 대한 유익한 측면을 가지고 있으나, 반면에 이로 인한 피로감과 같은 부정적인 측면이 있다. 소비자가 상품을 선택할 때 비용과 혜택을 충분히 고려하고 상품과 서비스 이용에 대한 의사결정을 내린다는 점에서 본 연구는 SNS가 가져오는 유익한 측면과 피로감 또는 경제적인 추가 비용의 부담과 같은 부정적인 측면을 비용의 범주로 고려하여 SNS가 가지고 있는 유무형의 가치를 평가하고자 한다.

Physical rehabilitation consists of exercises that help individuals who have suffered injury, disease, or nervous system disorders to recover lost or impaired functions. The exercises need to be tailored to the degree and type of the patient's condition. To this end, a comprehensive rehabilitation data delivery system that connects medical institutions and local communities should be established, and an intelligent rehabilitation service technology should be developed. An intelligent rehabilitation service integrates and manages the patient's health information provided by medical institutions and the overall function evaluation information measured in the community. Based on the collected data, personalized rehabilitation services can be provided. We examine supportive policies and technological trends for rehabilitation exercise and sports. Additionally, we investigate development trends and key technologies of intelligent rehabilitation services being developed at ETRI.

ScienceON, RISS, DBpia 등 연구자들이 R&D 과정 중에 이용하는 연구 정보 서비스는 포털 형식의 사용자 인터페이스와 함께 요구 대응 방식(Pull)의 검색 기능이 주를 이루고 있다. 그렇지만, 연구 과정과 결과를 자유롭게 공유·활용하고 협업 연구에 필요한 다양한 도구와 서비스를 제공하는 개방형 협업에 대한 요구가 점차 커지고 있어, 이러한 서비스 역할의 한계도 존재한다. 이에 우리는 R&D 전주기를 지원하기 위한 개인화된 연구 환경 인터페이스를 중심으로 선제 대응 방식(Push)의 목표 지향적 분석을 수행하는 WithON을 설계한다. 본 연구를 통해 제시하는 WithON이 개방형 협업을 위한 가상 공간을 제공함으로써 기존 연구 정보 서비스 방식을 근본적으로 바꿀 것으로 기대한다.

Considerations for user-centric environments are regarded as essential for the successful deployment of convergence services in BcN. Event driven service (EDS) is regarded as a typical convergence service converging different functions of multiple service providers to support user-centric environments. This paper first describes the deployment model and service scenario of EDS, a convergence service for user-centric environments in BcN. The user-centric environments stimulates the unified identifier management, namely unified identification (U-ID), to enable users to be provided convergence services without awareness of multiple providers. Then the designed structure and implementation results are given.

Event driven service (EDS) is one of such services administrating different functions of multiple service providers according to the user situation. This paper first describes the service model of EDS, a User-centric Service for multiple service provider environments over the next generation networks. The multiple provider environments stimulates the unified identifier management, namely unified identification (U-ID), to enable users to be provided network services without awareness of multiple providers. Combining these two concepts, i.e., EDS and U-ID, the designed structure of EDS with U-ID and related procedures are given. Finally, the implementation results tested on Korea Advanced Research Network (KOREN) are described.
