본 연구는 우리나라의 EDI (전자자료교환) 서비스를 사용하는 기업들의 실무담당자를 대상으로 EDI 서비스의 품질 인식에 관하여 실증분석을 하였다. 특히 서비스 마케팅관점에서 바라본 EDI 서비스는 어떠한 요인으로 구성이 되어있는가를 선행연구를 통하여 확인하고 이를 바탕으로 요인분석을 실시하여 실증분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하여 우리나라의 EDI 서비스 제공자는 마케팅관점에서 영업전략을 구사할 이론적 근거를 갖게될 것이다.

네트워크를 기반으로 한 인터넷의 급속한 발전은 개인간의 관계뿐만 아니라, 기업간의 업무 내역에 있어서도 많은 영향을 주었으며, 기존 기업간 문서 교환 시스템의 표준으로 활용되어 오던 독자적인 VAN망을 이용한 전통적 방식의 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) 역시 많은 변화를 가져 왔다. 전통적 방식의 EDI가 기업 간 거래 수행을 할 수 있도록 '표준 포맷'으로 된 기업 거래 문서를 컴퓨터로 상호 통신한다는 EDI의 기본적인 개념에 충실하며 정확한 데이터 전송 및 보안이 가능한 장점에도 불구하고, 초기 구축비용 과다와 패쇄적인 구조로 인하여 시스템 확장에 어려움이 있으며, 또한 유지 보수 및 운영에도 지속적인 추가 비용이 소요되는 단점을 함께 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 전통적 방식의 EDI 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 컨테이너터미널과 선사간의 EDI를 이용한 메시지 송ㆍ수신 업무를 지난 2001년 8월 정부에서 기업간 전자 거래를 위한 데이터 교환 모델로서 권고한 ebXML 프레임워크를 이용하여 ebXML기반 EDI시스템으로 구현하였다.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is an important part of interorganizational electronic commerce due to the strategic impact derived from its use. In order to ensure successful implementation of EDI, EDI controls must first be developed. Because they are implemented in an environmental context, the characteristics of organizational environments have a significant impact on EDI controls. The control strategy for the EDI system - formal, informal, and automated controls - should fit certain organizational environments. A research model has been developed to depict the moderating effects of six environmental variables including industry, organizational, and task characteristics on the relationships between controls and implementation. It is shown empirically that the relationships between EDI controls and implementation are indeed affected by these factors. The results can help management design formal, informal, and automated controls in view of their own environmental contexts.

정보시스템 구축이란 필연적인 수단의 대안으로 제시되고 있는 것이 인트라넷 환경이다. 그러나 사용자들은 단지 전자메일이나 전자게시판만보다 효율적으로 인트라넷 환경을 이용할 수 있는 Workflow 개념을 절실히 요구하고 있으며, 그 대표적인 예인 전자결재시스템이 기업의 업무에 적용되기를 원하고 있다. 하지만, 상용화된 현재의 그룹웨어 시스템간의 문서 호환성 결여는 인터넷이라는 통합 패러다임에 역행하는 결과를 낳게 되었고, 그룹웨어 시스템간의 정보의 공유와 확장성을 고려하지 않을 수 없게 되었다. 컴퓨터 환경의 보편화로 문서의 전자화와 문서관리 전자문서화로 변하고 있으며, 전자상거래와 전자문서교환, 전자문서관리시스템에서는 기본적으로 종이 문서를 사용하지 않지만, 아직도 문서 교환의 많은 부분이 팩스나 종이로 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 표준 문서 포맷 기술로 자리잡고 있는 SML(eXtensible Markup Language)을 이용하여 웹기반 전자결재시스템 상호간의 문서호환성을 해결하기 위한 표준 문서 교환 시스템에 대한 프로토타입을 설계하고 이를 구현하였다.

본 논문은 인터넷상에서 사용이 가능하며 확장성이 뛰어난 XML을 이용하여 B2B (Business to Business) 사이에 사용되는 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) 문서를 표현함으로써 이기종 시스템과 응용 프로그램간의 원활한 문서 유통을 이룰 수 있는 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 기존 EDI 표준인 UN/EDIFACT 메시지 전송 항목에 기반하여 문서형 정의부(Document Type Definition, DTD)를 개발했으며 메시지 수행 지침서(Message Implementation Guide, MIG)를 이용하여 템플리트를 구성하였다. 동적인 XML/EDI 문서를 생성하기 위하여 트랜잭션 처리기 및 생성된 XML 문서의 표현을 위하여 XML 스타일 언어(eXtensible Stylesheet Laguage, XSL)를 자동으로 생성, 변경할 수 있는 XSL 편집기를 개발하였다. 또한 변환 처리기를 두어 기존 EDI 시스템과 원활하게 문서를 교환할 수 있도록 설계 구현하였다.

전통 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) 문서는 VAN(Value Added Network) 전용망을 통하여 EDI 서비스를 하였다. 하지만, 이것은 실시간(real-time)으로 문서를 처리하는 방식보다 주로 배치(batch)방식으로 한꺼번에 문서를 처리하였으며 전용 소프트웨 어를 사용함으로써 새로운 문서를 처리할때마다 새 문서에 대한 정보를 등록하고 소프트웨어를 다시 설치 해야하는 불편함도 있었다. 기존의 전통 EDI 문서는 VAN을 통하여 처리하는 방식이었으나 현재는 인터넷에서 EDI 문서를 볼 수 있도록 하기 위해 XML(extensible Markup Language)을 이용하고 있다. 인터넷기반의 웹 브라우저 상에서 볼 수 있는 XML/EDI 구현에 힘입어 여러 문서로 분리되어진 EDI 문서를 XLink의 개념을 이용하여 문서의 삽입, 삭제 기능과 이러한 문서를 통합하여 하나의 문서로 데이터베이스에 저장할 수 있는 방법에 관하여 연구하고자 한다.

Electronic data interchange (EDI) is a new technology of information communication which can make offices paperless. This study develop an EDI system to communicate informations among companies using computer systems. The system consists of five modules-document I/O, translation, system management, communication, and additional modules. The database of EDI documentation standards has been constructed by the table-driven method. The communication module provides three communication modes-RS232C, MODEM, and message handling system (MHS). The system performance has been improved by the method of data compression and data encryption which prevent the communication delay and illegal users. This EDI system can be used as a front-end, back-end, or stand-alone mode.

전자문서교환(電子文書交換)(EDI) 시스템이 정보사회의 도래와 더불어 전략경영(戰略經營)의 핵심수단으로 등장함에 따라 우리나라에서도 EDI에 관한 학문적(學問的) 관심이 최근에 고조되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 EDI에 관한 국내(國內)의 선행연구(先行硏究)는 일천할 뿐더러 연구의 양(量)과 질(質)에 있어서도 매우 미미하다. 이제는 EDI가 기업의 전략경영(戰略經營) 성과(成果)에 구체적으로 어떤 영향(影響)을 미치고 있는가를 심층적으로 분석할 필요성(必要性)이 크게 대두되고 있다. 이와 같은 연구(硏究)의 필요성(必要性)에 따라 본고(本考)에서는 정보기술(情報技術)(IT)과 성과(成果)(performance) 분석(分析)에 관련된 최근의 선행연구를 종합적(綜合的) 포괄적(包括的)으로 정리하였으며, 이들 선행 연구들이 성과(成果) 분석(分析)에 사용한 구체적인 측정방법(測定方法)을 제시하고 있다.

There are increasing needs for an individual or enterprise to interchange documents electronically through communication network to enhance the efficiency of business, owing to rapid process of transactions. But e-commerce encounters the problems regarding the handling the electronic documents, that is to say, deposit and proof of the electronic documents. This paper deals with Authorized Electronic Data Depot as an integrated system for processing, relaying and proving documents that. Authorized Electronic Data Depot operates as e-enabler in exchanging documents in trust among administrative agencies and a comprehensive government directory, digital government seal certification system and DNS system. Authorized Electronic Data Depot leads public and private sectors to save the paper-related costs. But the regulations concerning an authorized electronic data depot is introduced in the course of revision of Electronic Transactions Act. The purpose of this paper is to suggest some guidelines in legalizing the authorized electronic data depot.

The purpose of this study, based on domestic sample businesses using EDI systems, is to identify success factors, which affect adoption of EDI systems by domestic business entities. And this paper also intends to provide guideline important in the establishment and management of EDI systems based factors identified. The major contents of this research are as follow. This paper, first, tries to develop conceptual framework based on previous research to identify factors which affect successful adoption of EDI systems. Second, it intends to develop new version of survey questionnaire by referring to various survey questionnaires previously used by similar studies. Third, it also intends to the extent of each factor on the successful adoption and implementation of EDI systems, and examines proposed hypotheses.
