본 논문은 Directory Service(white page, yellow page, green page)를 분산환경에 적합하고 시스템 유연성을 고려하기 위해서 EJB(Enterprise Java Bean)기반 Webservice로 구현한 방법론 및 그 시스템에 관한 논문이다. 기존 개발된 Directory Service가 대부분 폐쇄적 네트워크를 사용하고 있으므로 시스템 자체에 유연성이 없는 정적인 시스템으로 구현이 되어있고, 플랫폼에 의존하는 아키텍쳐로 설계 되었다. 따라서 본 논문은 이러한 서비스 비개방 특성을 극복하기 위해서 개발 아키텍쳐를 웹서비스(Web Service)환경을 기본으로 하고 분산컴퓨팅환경(Distributed Computing Environment)의 특성을 고려하기 위해서 EJB로 개발이 되었다.

As language learning that utilizes speech and information processing technology is getting popular. Speech Information Technology & Promotion Center(SiTEC) has created and is distributing speech corpora for STiLL in order to support basic research and development of products. We will introduce the corpus for Korean and those for English which we have created and are distributing.

The development of an open LBS platform makes it easy to use of the location information between telecommunication companies which have different platforms and to develop various LBS solutions using position information. This paper proposes a mobile webservice solution providing public transportation services to the mobile subscribers working together open LBS platform.

Objectives: Current information & communication technology is advancing very rapidly and the ripple effects are spreading all over society traditional Korean medicine (TKM) is no exception. We draw up afuture plan and target system's architecture of KIOM's OASIS to follow the information change and reinforce the supporting infra for TKM research. Methods: First, we analyzed the information circumstances of western and eastern medicine, both overseas and domestic, especially investigating the detailed changes domestically. Second, we grasped the present conditions of OASIS and compared it with other information portals. Finally, we drew a future plan and system architecture from the analysis results. Results: First, the information status of western medicine is much more advanced than TKM's, and overseas information circumstances are likewise more developed than domestics. Second, we found that OASIS is performing the central research infra role well in TKM. Finally we designed an information system architecture which is composed of an infra layer, an application layer and a service layer. Conclusion: We must integrate information materials such as literature, research manpower, facilities and standards to make TKM's knowledge portal successful. In detail, we have to make TKM's information classification code, build up the electronic TKM library and offer complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) trends.

이 연구는 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)이 국내외 과학, 기술 및 산업정보의 대표기관으로 정착하고 새로운 정보환경에 적응할 수 있도록 디지털문헌정보센터의 모델과 그 효과에 대해 기술한 것이다. 이에 따라 선진 디지털문헌정보센터를 참고하여 우리 나라 실정에 맞는 문헌정보센터 기능과 역할을 재조명하고 모델에 대한 제안과 계획을 수립하였다.

The discharge characteristics of a flat plasma backlight with long electrode gap are investigated. The effect of operating voltage and repetition rate on brightness and luminance efficiency is investigated. A new high efficacy mode is found at low frequencies around 15-40 KHz; a lumen efficacy of 15.3 lm/W is achieved at a luminance of $2400\;cd/m^2$. In the high brightness mode, present at high voltage, we find a maximum luminance of $5900\;cd/m^2$ at 30KHz.

본 연구의 목적은 미국국립의학도서관(NLM)의 Unified Medical Language System(UMLS)에 한의학의 용어를 등재하는 것이다. 1차 등재 대상으로 한국한의학연구원(KIOM)에서 진행중인 한의학 용어 정제 연구 결과물 중 임(任) 독맥(督脈)과 12정경(正經)에 속하는 360개의 경혈명(經穴名)의 Concept Unique Identify(CUI)를 선정하였다. UMLS Knowledge Source Server (UMLSKS)의 메타시소러스 검색을 통해 UMLS 내 경혈(經穴)용어에 대한 terminology정보를 수집, 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 용어간 개념 비교를 통해 UMLS의 경혈(經穴)용어와 KIOM의 경혈(經穴)용어를 매핑하였다. 마지막으로 Rich Release Format(RRF)로 데이터를 저장하고, Unicode Transformation Format-8 (UTF-8)로 인코딩하여 NLM으로 송부하였다. NLM에서 용어 등재에 대한 적합성 여부를 판별한 후 2010AB버젼에 "TKMT2010"이라는 소스명으로 한글로 된 한의학 용어가 최초로 UMLS에 등재되었다. 향후 UMLS와 같은 국제표준의학용어와 연계를 통해 한의학 용어가 다양한 의학용어체계와 상호호완성을 확보하고 표준화, 세계화할 수 있도록 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

We propose a semantics filter aimed at filtering unnecessary data for a user. In the Geographic Information Systems (GIS), transfer of spatial data for each user is one of the important problems. We design a system that filters spatial data by using user's information adaptively. Our system derives the degree of geographical knowledge and the priority of buildings by using fuzzy reasoning. Furthermore, this system computes the priority of roads by deriving the contiguity relation between a building and a road. This paper describes a method for filtering of spatial data.
