Model updation using multiple parameters influencing servoelastic response of a flexible aircraft

  • In a flexible airvehicle, an assessment of the structural coupling levels through analysis and experiments provides structural data for the design of notch filters which are generally utilized in the flight control system to attenuate the flexible response pickup. This is necessitated as during flight, closed loop control actuation driven with flexible response inputs could lead to stability and performance related problems. In the present work, critical parameters influencing servoelastic response have been identified. A sensitivity study has been carried out to assess the extent of influence of each parameter. A multi-parameter tuning approach has been implemented to achieve an enhanced analytical model for improved predictions of aircraft servoelastic response. To illustrate the model updation approach, initial and improved test analysis correlation of lateral servoelastic responses for a generic flexible airvehicle are presented.

Identifiability of Ludwik's law parameters depending on the sample geometry via inverse identification procedure

  • The accurate prediction of elastoplasticity under prescribed workloads is essential in the optimization of engineering structures. Mechanical experiments are carried out with the goal of obtaining reliable sets of material parameters for a chosen constitutive law via inverse identification. In this work, two sample geometries made of high strength steel plates were evaluated to determine the optimal configuration for the identification of Ludwik's nonlinear isotropic hardening law. Finite element model updating(FEMU) was used to calibrate the material parameters. FEMU computes the parameter changes based on the Hessian matrix, and the sensitivity fields that report changes of computed fields with respect to material parameter changes. A sensitivity analysis was performed to determine the influence of the sample geometry on parameter identifiability. It was concluded that the sample with thinned gauge region with a large curvature radius provided more reliable material parameters.

  • In this study, an estimation regarding nonlocal shell model based on wave propagation approach has been considered for vibrational behavior of the double walled carbon nanotubes with distinct nonlocal parameters. Vibrations of double walled carbon nanotubes for chiral indices (8, 3) have been analyzed. The significance of small scale is being perceived by developing nonlocal Love shell model. The influence of changing mechanical parameter Poisson's ratio has been investigated in detail. The dominance of boundary conditions via nonlocal parameter is shown graphically. It is found that on increasing the Poisson's ratio, the frequencies increases. It is noted that the frequencies of clamped-clamped frequencies are higher than that of simply-supported and clamped-free edge conditions. The outcomes of frequencies are tested with earlier computations.

  • In training a deep learning model, it is crucial to tune various hyperparameters and gain speed and accuracy. While hyperparameters that mathematically induce convergence impact training speed, system parameters that affect host-to-device transfer are also crucial. Therefore, it is important to properly tune and select parameters that influence the data loader as a system parameter in overall time acceleration. We propose an automated framework called Num Worker Tuner (NWT) to address this problem. This method finds the appropriate number of multi-processing subprocesses through the search space and accelerates the learning through the number of subprocesses. Furthermore, this method allows memory efficiency and speed-up by tuning the system-dependent parameter, the number of multi-process spawns.

대학기숙사 교육기능공간의 매개변수를 통한 인과분석 (Causal Analysis of Education Function Space Parameters of University Dormitory)

  • This study aims to examine the educational function space of university dormitories at local universities with corridor centered structure in Honam area regions based on direct and indirect parameters on the whole satisfaction of users in residential environment factors and personal characteristics. First, according to relations among parameters, educational and cultural activities of four major activities within the dormitory had indirect influences on social activities, eating and sleeping activities had no direct influence on other activities. And social activity had direct influence on the general satisfaction as an important parameter and educational and cultural activities had indirect influence on the whole satisfaction through social activities. Detailed results show that, in the first educational activities directly affecting the lighting and air conditioning facilities (0.22), safety (0.326), Territoriality (0.327), the space density (-0.167), directions (-0.166) and yeohyang having personal characteristics and the safety of the second cultural activities (0.183), Territoriality (0.361), Aesthetics (-0.13) and the personal characteristics Sex (-0.179), the direct effect, third, and erosion has a direct impact on activity The flexibility of the space factor (-0.128) and Territoriality (0.38) and the personal characteristics grade (0.172), respectively. Fourth in social activities directly affecting the pathfinding (-0.104), and parameter, education (0.388) and cultural activities (0.445), and some of the factors affecting the indirect lighting and air conditioning facilities, safety, and Territoriality, the space density, directions, grade, they could influence through educational activities to be analyzed. That is, territoriality in educational function space is the important factor that users react very sensitively in educational, eating and sleeping activities and educational function space must secure area and division considering personal and public use as the space accommodating activity which is lacking in unit residential space. Accordingly, the safety of educational function space in university dormitory is considered as the fundamental safety matter on the fire prevention, hygiene and cleanness for users in the satisfaction of educational and cultural activities.

  • The train transportation has a lot of advantages-energy efficiency is high, it is eco-friendly, safety is better than normal roads and it is possible for people to arrive on time. In these days, the valuation of ride comfort, which is only limited to road transportation, is newly recognized in order to having competitiveness from other transportation. Especially, in the development of the Korean high-speed railroad business, the ride comfort enhancement of train is very important problem to be solved. Currently, there are international standards of ride comfort such as UIC13, ISO2631. In Korea case, although it has own standard like KS R9216, it mainly depends on the physical parameter such as vibration and noise. So recently, in the valuation of ride comfort, the movements of living parameter technique introduction are increasing on the base of Japan and many developed countries of Europe techniques. Presently, the method of train ride comfort is mainly based of vibration, that is, mechanical parameter adding selection of variable acceleration and noise. This paper would like to show biological parameter; heart rate and blood pressure variation. This method is more direct, based on human body response, than mechanical parameter method. In this experiment, the variability of heart rate and blood pressure of passengers according to tilting angle change of Train, the Korean tilting train, we are supposed to know that the extent of tilting on the simulation has influence on variability of heart rate and blood pressure, which are living parameter of heart's blood.

  • For generalized continued fraction (GCF) with parameter ${\epsilon}(k)$, we consider the size of the set whose partial quotients increase rapidly, namely the set $$E_{\epsilon}({\alpha}):=\{x{\in}(0,1]:k_{n+1}(x){\geq}k_n(x)^{\alpha}\;for\;all\;n{\geq}1\}$$, where ${\alpha}$ > 1. We in [6] have obtained the Hausdorff dimension of $E_{\epsilon}({\alpha})$ when ${\epsilon}(k)$ is constant or ${\epsilon}(k){\sim}k^{\beta}$ for any ${\beta}{\geq}1$. As its supplement, now we show that: $$dim_H\;E_{\epsilon}({\alpha})=\{\frac{1}{\alpha},\;when\;-k^{\delta}{\leq}{\epsilon}(k){\leq}k\;with\;0{\leq}{\delta}<1;\\\;\frac{1}{{\alpha}+1},\;when\;-k-{\rho}<{\epsilon}(k){\leq}-k\;with\;0<{\rho}<1;\\\;\frac{1}{{\alpha}+2},\;when\;{\epsilon}(k)=-k-1+\frac{1}{k}$$. So the bigger the parameter function ${\epsilon}(k_n)$ is, the larger the size of $E_{\epsilon}({\alpha})$ becomes.

  • 본 연구에서는 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$국제공항 제2여객터미널 연결 철도 건설공사 기본설계 중 쉴드 TBM 터널 굴착 시 Gap parameter와 관련된 지반물성치의 불확실성을 평가하고, 지표침하에 대한 신뢰성해석을 수행함으로써 쉴드 TBM 설계의 적절성을 평가하고자 한다. 또한 Gap parameter에 이용되는 설계정수의 신뢰도지수 및 파괴확률에 대한 민감도를 분석함으로써, 지표침하에 큰 영향을 미치는 설계정수를 평가함으로써 최적의 설계를 수행하는데 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

  • As the technology convergence paradigm emerges, the need for "CIA techniques" to analyze the mutual effects of technology is increasing. However, since the CIA input parameter estimation is difficult, the present study suggests a "CIA input parameter setting model" to alleviate the difficulty of CIA input parameter estimation. This paper is focused on the difference of measurement difficulty by each scale which expert's estimation behavior was defined as measurement activity quantifying the judgment of future technology. Therefore, this model is designed to estimate the input variable as a sequence or isometric scale that is relatively easy to measure, and then converts it into a probability value. The input parameter setting model of the CIA technique consists of three sub-models : 'probability value derivation model', 'influence estimation model', and 'impact value calculation model', in order to develop a series of models the Thurstone V model, Regression Analysis, etc has been used.

위성 클럭 에러 추정 정확도에 따른 정밀 단독 측위 성능 분석 (The Analysis of Performance of Precise Single Positioning according to estimation accuracy of Satellite Clock Error)

  • 본 논문에서는 관측소 지리적 위치에 의한 대류권 파라미터에 따른 위성 클럭오차 특성을 분석한 것으로 PANDA 소프트웨어를 이용하여 관측소 거리의 간격에 따른 GPS 위성 클럭오차에 따른 정밀단독측위의 성능을 연구하여 결과를 제시하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면 거리의 간격이 200km 이하인 경우에는 대류권 파라미터와 위성 시계 오차 파라미터의 관련성이 크며, 최대 0.8ns의 클럭 오차를 발생하였다. 또한 거리의 간격이 500km이상인 경우에는 위성 클럭 오차와 대류권 파라미터의 관련성이 현저하게 감소됨을 알 수 있었다.
