보건소 정보시스템의 활용현황 분석 (A Study on the Utilization Pattern of Information Systems for Health Centers)

  • This study was designed to analyze the status of government policy on the computerization of health centers throughout the country and to identify the factors affecting a successful implementation of the information system. As expected, age and commitment of health center director, computer budgets, user training, and technical supports from the information specialists were the important factors influencing the successful implementation of the system. Compared with the urban health centers, fewer rural health centers installed the system perhaps due to lack budgets and the urban-oriented system features. Moreover, the systems were unevenly distributed according to the geographic regions. Some strategies for successful dissemination of the systems were also suggested.

  • Data warehouse(DW) manages all information in a Enterprise and also offers the specific information to users. However, it might be difficult to develope an effective DW system due to varieties in computing facilities, data base, and operating systems. The heterogeneous system environments make it harder to extract data and to provide proper information to usesr in real time. Also commonly occurred is data inconsistency of non-integrated legacy system, which requires an effective and efficient data extraction flow control as well as data cleansing. We design the integrated automatic ETT(Extraction Transformation Transportation) system to control data extraction flow and suggest implementation methodology. Detail analysis and design are given to specify the proposed ETT approach with a real implementation.

An Implementation of Single Stack Multi-threading for Small Embedded Systems

  • In small embedded systems including IoT devices, memory size is very small and it is important to reduce memory amount for execution of application programs. For multi-threaded applications, stack may consume a large amount of memory because each thread has its own stack of sufficiently large size for worst case. This paper presents an implementation of single stack multi-threading, called SSThread (Single Stack Thread), by sharing a stack for all threads to reduce stack memory size. By using SSThread, multi-threaded applications can be programmed based on normal C language environment and there is no requirement of transporting multi-threading operating systems. It consists of several library functions and various C macro definitions. Even though some functional restrictions in comparison to operating systems supporting complete multi-thread functionalities, it is very useful for small embedded systems with tiny memory size and it is simple to setup programming environment for multi-thread applications.

  • As distributed computing systems become popular, many modeling techniques and methods have been developed in specify the specification formally and verify the distributed/concurrent sytems. In spite of importance of communication in distributed object-oriented systems, specifying of communication method generally has not been emphasized in the design phase. One reason is due to the system designer misunderstanding, that is, a specification needs to be independent on the implementation. However, since defining communication pattern indistributed object-oriented systems is more serious than the required message passing method in the design phase. specifying the communication pattern is necessary instead of postponing until the implementation. In this paper, two formal specification techniques, temporal logic method and Petri nets method, for the communication in distributed systems are discussed. One is based on the temporal logic, which specifies the different patterns of primitive predicates. This method enable to define the underlying mechanism which can be interpreted as constraints. The Petri net method helps to specify the dynamic behavior of communicational patterns using the properties of Petri nets.

  • A real-time operating system has focused primary on techniques to minimize processing time, with a secondary emphasis on system reliability issues. Conversely, fault-tolerant system has concentrated on using recourse and information redundancy to maximize the availability and reliability of the system, with a lesser emphasis on performance. We have developed a fault-tolerant and real-time operations system which support a powerful concurrent runtime environment under the above requirements. In this paper, we present an overview of real-time systems, design and implementation of a duplex architecture using advanced concepts and technologies such as fast " fault detection", "fault isolation" and "fault recovery" Because the duplex architecture has two dentical hardware elements and has several recovery steps and hierarchy to facilitate a fast recovery which must be proceeded by a prompt fault detection and isolation. Thus it makes possible to minimize the overhead of the systems including hardware and software and guarantee the service continuity of he systems.

  • This paper deals with the implementation of a robust multivariable controller using DSP board and the application to real systems. The LQG/LTR (Linear Quadratic Gaussian with Loop Transfer Recovery) controller proposed by Doyle et al.[1,2] is adopted to design the control system. A helicopter propeller setup is taken as the controlled system in the current paper, and the mathematical model is derived to design the multivariable controller. The performance of the controller is evaluated via simulations, and implementation and application to the MIMO system shows that the control performances are satisfactory and superior to those of the PID controller.

  • One of the major issues in the implementation and maintenance of CIM databases is the sharing and exchange of information among the heterogeneous databases. This paper addresses some architectural aspects for integrating the heterogeneous multi-databases using knowledge-based expert systems. we propose a loosely integrated coupling system between databases and knowledge-based expert systems. Especially we suggest the architectural aspects of such a coupling methodology. we also present the structure and knowledge representation scheme for the proposed knowledge-based expert system. A prototype example is included to illustrate the framework and its mechanism for implementation.

  • 급변하는 기업환경에서 사전적이고 능동적으로 대응하는 기업만이 생존한다는 것은 어느 시대이든 적용되는 명제라고 할 수 있다. 전사적 자원관리(Enterprise Resource Planning: ERP) 시스템은 이제 기업의 전략적 필수요건이 되었다. 그러나 여전히 국내 중소기업에서는 ERP시스템의 성공적인 구현을 위한 구축 전략에 대한 현실적 지침이 필요하다. 특히 ERP시스템 도입을 위한 프로세스 관련 문제의 규명과 비즈니스 목표의 정립에서 더욱 그러하다. 본 사례는 2000년 삼성계열사로 창업한 정보보호 전문업체인 시큐아이닷컴의 ERP시스템 구축사례를 통해 전략적 관점에서 실질적인 중소기업의 정보인프라 구축과 시스템 경영의 구현과정을 제시함으로써 향후 국내 중소기업의 ERP시스템의 신규 구축 및 업그레이드 과정에 실질적인 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다.

토픽모델링과 시계열회귀분석을 활용한 정보시스템분야 연구동향 분석 (Investigation of Research Trends in Information Systems Domain Using Topic Modeling and Time Series Regression Analysis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 2002년부터 2016년까지 출판된, 대표적인 정보시스템분야 저널의 연구동향을 조사하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해서 Asia Pacific Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Review, The Journal of Information Systems에 출판된 논문의 초록 1,245편을 분석 하였다. 본 연구에서는 최근 중요하게 다루어지는 토픽모델링과 시계열회귀분석 기법을 활용하였다. 토픽모델링 분석결과, 20개의 토픽이 도출되었고 "시스템구축", "혁신역량", 및 "고객충성도" 등의 순으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 시계열회귀분석 결과, 상승 추세를 나타내는 토픽으로는 "고객충성도", "소통혁신", "정보보호", 및 "개인정보보호" 가 나타났고, 하락 추세를 나타나는 토픽으로는 "시스템구축" 및 "웹사이트" 가 도출되었다.
