차선 이탈 경고 시스템의 성능 검증을 위한 가상의 오염 차선 이미지 및 비디오 생성 방법 (Virtual Contamination Lane Image and Video Generation Method for the Performance Evaluation of the Lane Departure Warning System)

  • In this paper, an augmented video generation method to evaluate the performance of lane departure warning system is proposed. In our system, the input is a video which have road scene with general clean lane, and the content of output video is the same but the lane is synthesized with contamination image. In order to synthesize the contamination lane image, two approaches were used. One is example-based image synthesis, and the other is background-based image synthesis. Example-based image synthesis is generated in the assumption of the situation that contamination is applied to the lane, and background-based image synthesis is for the situation that the lane is erased due to aging. In this paper, a new contamination pattern generation method using Gaussian function is also proposed in order to produce contamination with various shape and size. The contamination lane video can be generated by shifting synthesized image as lane movement amount obtained empirically. Our experiment showed that the similarity between the generated contamination lane image and real lane image is over 90 %. Futhermore, we can verify the reliability of the video generated from the proposed method through the analysis of the change of lane recognition rate. In other words, the recognition rate based on the video generated from the proposed method is very similar to that of the real contamination lane video.

곡면 용기에 표시된 성분표 자동 인식을 위한 인공지능 기반 스마트폰 애플리케이션 (Deep-Learning-based smartphone application for automatic recognition of ingredients on curved containers)

  • 소비자는 본인의 건강을 위해서 화장품 및 식품의 성분을 보고 알레르기 유발이나, 주의 성분이 포함되어 있는지 여부를 확인 후 구매를 해야 하지만, 실상은 포장지나 패키징 용기에서 표기가 작고 상세 성분 표기를 찾기 어려우며 바쁜 일상 가운데 일일이 확인하는 과정이 소홀해지기 쉽다. 이에 본 논문은 소비자에게 용기에 부착된 성분을 보다 알기 쉽게 전달하도록 곡면 용기에 표시된 배합 성분표를 자동으로 인식하기 위한 인공지능 기반 스마트폰 애플리케이션을 제안한다. 제안한 스마트폰 기반 성분표 자동인식 어플리케이션은 곡면 용기에 표시된 성분표를 인식할 수 있도록 텍스트 추출 후 원근변환을 통해 인식을 정확도 95% 달성하였다. 또한, 성분명이 곡면에 표시되기 때문에 변형되거나 길이가 길어서 줄 바꿈이 있는 텍스트를 위해 텍스트영역의 경계영역과 위치를 계산하여 처리하였다. 이를 통해 제안한 스마트폰 어플리케이션은 내장된 카메라를 통해 용기에 부착된 성분표 영상을 획득한 뒤, 성분과 관련된 텍스트를 발견하고 인식하여 배합제한성분 정보를 추출하도록 하였다. 마지막으로 다양한 테스트를 통하여 개발한 애플리케이션으로 원통형 곡면 용기에 담긴 화장품의 성분표 인식에 문제가 없다는 것을 검증하였다.

웨이브렛 변환에 기반한 위성 영상의 영역 정합 (Region Matching of Satellite Images based on Wavelet Transformation)

  • 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 두 개의 영상, 특히 위성영상을 정합하기 위한 방안을 제안 하였다. 일반적인 영상 정합 분야에서는 하나의 영상을 크기와 영상이 포함하고 있는 내용 그리고 밝기가 같지 않은 다른 영상과 비교하게 된다. 만일 비교하고자 하는 영상내에 잡음이 없다면, 즉 두 개의 영상이 동등한 화소값을 갖거나 에지의 변화가 없다면 단순히 화소단위의 비교가 될 것이다. 그러나 많은 응용분야에서 정합을 위해 사용되는 대부분의 영상은 상당히 다른 특성을 갖게 된다. 본 논문에서는 취득 시기가 서로 다른 위성영상을 정합하기 위한 효율적인 방법을 제안하다. 이 방식은 GCP chip을 원 영상과 정합하여 기하보정 된 영상을 얻기 위해 사용될 수 있다. 제안한 방식은 웨이브렛 변환에 기반을 두고 있으며, 기존의 다른 방식과는 달리 영상분석이나 히스토그램 평활화와 같은 전처리를 필요로 하지 않는다.

퀵서비스 레스토랑의 브랜드개성과 자아이미지 일치성이 고객만족도에 미치는 영향:브랜드동일시의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Brand Personality-self Image Congruence on Customer Satisfaction in Quick Service Restaurants: Moderating Effects of Band Identification)

  • The purposes of this study were to understand the influence of brand personality-self image congruence in quick service restaurants on customer satisfaction and to empirically analyze whether or not customers' brand identification plays a moderating role between brand personality-self image congruence and customer satisfaction. Based on a total of 478 samples obtained from empirical research from June 10 to June 16, 2010, self-administered questionnaires were completed by patrons in a metropolitan area, and data were analyzed based on frequency, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results of the study were as follows: From the factor analysis of brand personality and self-image, 5 factors, i.e. sophistication (5 items), competence (5 items), likability (5 items), trendiness (5 items), and ruggedness (5 items) were extracted. The results show that trendiness (${\beta}$=-0.151) among brand personality-self image congruence had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Further, customers' brand identification (${\beta}$=0.645) had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. In addition, the effect of brand personality-self image congruence (only, likability ${\times}$ brand identification; ${\beta}$=0.245) in quick service restaurants on customer satisfaction was found to be partially moderated by customers' brand identification. In other words, the findings show that customers wanted to identify with a specific brand because it provides a means to continue transactions with the brand if it corresponds with their self-image or if the overall image of the brand is favorable. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

강릉 이미지를 활용한 패션문화상품 개발 방안 연구 (A study on the fashion cultural product development with Gangneung image)

  • This study examined images typical to this city and explored ways to develop cultural products using these images. Researchers reviewed literature about fashion cultural products and related previous research, and then conducted a closed-ended survey to analyze universal fashion preferences. For the examination material, such a way was used as information data base and network review inside and outside the country, dissertation screen, and published media including separate volumes. The following are considering points in the developing process. First, the study identified design, color, price, practicality and quality as factors that should be taken into consideration when using the image of Gangneung. In particular, it determined that the image needs to reflect a modern sensibility while maximizing its representation of local culture. Second, Gangneung's symbolic image should incorporate the sea, Gyeongpo, and coffee. In other words, the sea, Gyeongpo, and coffee should receive top symbolic priority. Third, from a development perspective, the most appropriate items for displaying the image include t-shirts, keychains, umbrellas, or other accessories, since these items are easily available in terms of price. In sum, this study highlighted the necessity of reconsidering Gangneung's currents ymbolic image, suggesting that a new image should be developed. Developing a typical fashion cultural product image will enrich Gangneung's cultural industry and the distribution of newly designed products will improve the localeconomy.

강북 주민의 주거의식과 선호 주거상(像)에 관한 연구;뉴타운 사업지구 주민들을 대상으로 (A Study on Gang-buk Residents' Consciousness and Prefered Image for Housing;Focused on New Town Project District Residents)

  • Since 1970, concentrated development in Gang-nam caused serious differences with Gang-buk, such as housing environment, education, culture, industry, economy, and consumption behavior as well as Urban Infrastructure. In this result, the government has executed New Town project to solve these matters, but the residents' opinion wasn't reflected. The purpose of this study is to research New Town project district residents' consciousness and prefered image for housing and this research will be applied to basic study for housing environment improvement policy in future. The results of this study are summerized as follows : First, living satisfaction is revealed almost low level, and the most demands for improvement are to solve lacks of park and green yard. Second, image of Gang-nam, which of housing environment is better than Gang-buk, is expressed as the words, 'Complicated', 'Complex', 'Polished', 'Convenient', 'Rich'. Third, prefered types of housing are high-rise Residental Complex, Apartment mixed with detached housing, and tower-type apartment. And These are connected with there values

A Colour Support System for Townscape Based on Kansei and Colour Harmony Models

  • A townscape has been a main factor in urban-development problems in Japan. In the townscape, keeping harmony with environment is a common goal. But useful and meaningful goals are expressing individuality and impression of the town in the townscape. In this paper, we propose the colony planning support system system to improve the townscape. The system finds propositional colour combinations based on three elements, town image, colour harmony, and cost. The targets of this model are mostly townscapes in residential areas that already exist, In this paper, we introduce the construction of a Kansei evaluation model to quantify the impression. First, we conducted computer-based evaluational experiments for 20 subjects using the SD method to clarify the relationship between town image and street colours. We chose 16 adjective words related to town image and prepared 100 colour picture samples for the evaluation. After the experiments, we constructed the model using a neural network for each word. We chose 62 experimental results for the training data of the neural network and 20 results for the testing data. Each colour in the data was selected to have unique hue, brightness or saturation attributes, After the construction, we tested the model for accuracy. We input the testing data into the constructed model and calculated errors between the output from the model and the experimental results. Testing of the model showed that the model worked well for more than 80% of the samples. The model demonstrated influences of colours on the town image.

내용, 감성, 메타데이터의 결합을 이용한 텍스타일 영상 검색 (Textile image retrieval integrating contents, emotion and metadata)

  • 본 논문에서는 텍스타일 영상의 내용 데이터, 감성 데이터, 메타데이터를 결합시킨 영상 검색 시스템을 제안한다. 섬유 패션의 정보를 가지고 있는 메타데이터와 영상의 색상 및 감성 색상을 이용한 내용의 결합은 그 동안의 섬유 패션산업과 관련된 영상 검색 시스템에서 진일보된 것이다. 우선 메타데이터의 정보를 통해서 영상을 검색하게 된다 검색된 영상 안에서 색상히스토그램과 색상스케치, 감성 히스토그램을 통하여 주어진 영상과 비슷한 영상들을 검색하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 텍스타일 영상으로부터 감성 특성을 추출하기 위해서, H, Nagumo의 배색이미지차트에서 제안하는 160개 감성어에 대한 감성 색상을 이용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 텍스타일 영상 검색 시스템에서 부가적인 기능인 돋보기 기능, 색상 히스토그램 기능, 색상 스케치 기능, 반복 패턴 보기 기능을 통해 검색된 텍스타일 영상들의 정보를 효과적으로 제공함으로써 사용자의 편의를 강화하였다.

고해상도 위성영상의 센서모델링을 위한 대기 및 속도 보정 (Atmospheric Correction and Velocity Aberration for Physical Sensor Modeling of High-Resolution Satellite Images)

  • High-resolution earth-observing satellites acquire substantial amount of geospatial images. In addition to high image quality, high-resolution satellite images (HRSI) provide unprecedented direct georegistration accuracy, which have been enabled by accurate orbit determination technology. Direct georegistration is carried out by relating the determined position and attitude of camera to the ground target, i.e., projecting an image point to the earth ellipsoid using the collinearity equation. However, the apparent position of ground target is displaced due to the atmosphere and satellite velocity causing significant georegistration bias. In other words, optic ray from the earth surface to satellite cameras at 400~900km altitude refracts due to the thick atmosphere which is called atmospheric refraction. Velocity aberration is caused by high traveling speed of earth-observing satellites, approximately 7.7 km/s, relative to the earth surface. These effects should be compensated for accurate direct georegistration of HRSI. Therefore, this study presents the equation and the compensation procedure of atmospheric refraction and velocity aberration. Then, the effects are simulated at different image acquisition geometry to present how much bias is introduced. Finally, these effects are evaluated for Quickbird and WorldView-1 based on the physical sensor model.

  • The purposes of this study were to understand the military look in contemporary fashion by analyzing it based on the theory of Baudrillard, who offered explanations about images with the phenomenon of simulation, and provide basic data for the use of images in fashion by presenting new perspectives of images in fashion. The period from ancient times to the Renaissance does not belong to any of the three orders in Baudrillard's simulacra. In other words, there was no simulacrum created in the period according to his image changes. In the military look, however, the simulation phenomenon is different from his argument. To be specific, there is a "hyperreal" one as well as the simulacrum of "generalized image" as the simulacrum of a "transmuted image." It is because fashion exists only when it is worn widely by the imitations of others and in an inseparable relationship with imitation. In fashion, simulacra can always be found, which is one of the special qualities of fashion.
