한국과 미국 남녀 대학생의 의복이미지 선호도와 성역할 정체감에 관한 연구 (Clothing Image Preferences and Sex Role Identity of Korean and American College Students)

  • The objectives of this study were to classify the contents of clothing image preferences of Korean and American students, and to examine how clothing image preferences vary according to sex role identity, sex, and culture. A woman's clothing image preference inventory and the Bem Sex Role Inventory were administered to 127 Korean students and 116 American students. Sex role idendity was classified into androgynous, masculine, feminine, and undifferentiated type. 1. Four segments of woman's clothing image preference derived by factor analysis : F. 1 'splendid-plain' ; F. 2 'feminine-masculine' ; F. 3 'casual-formal' ; F. 4 'classic-contemporary'. 2. Americans prefered splendid image more than did Koreans. Androgynous-typed males liked splendid image most among American male subjects. 3. There was interaction effect between sex and culture on feminine-masculine image preference. In Korean students, males liked feminine image much more than did females. Masculine-typed females liked masculine image most among American female subjects. 4. Koreans prefered casual image more than did Americans. 5. There was interaction effect between sex role identity, sex, and culture($4{\times}2{\times}2$) on classic-contemporary image preference. Feminine-typed females liked classic image most among Korean female subjects. 6. Korean males especially prefered luxurious image least. Korean females contemporary most, American males sexy most, American females fashionable most among four subject groups. That is, differences on clothing image preferences were found according to sex role identity, sex, and culture.

국가이미지, 제품이미지 및 구매의도의 관계 (Relationships among the Country Image, Product Image and Purchase Intention)

  • 본 연구는 한국 대학생들을 대상으로 중국산 의류제품에 대한 중국 국가이미, 제품이미지 및 구매의도의 관계를 고찰하는데 주된 목적을 두었다. 분석 결과 중국 국가이미지 중 경제적 이미지, 문화적 이미지가 제품이미지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 제품이미지는 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과에 따르면 국가이미지를 중심으로 제품의 이미지에 초점을 맞추어 촉진활동을 하면 소비자의 구매행동유도에 효과적인 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 중국산 의류제품의 발전을 도모하기 위해서는 먼저 중국 국가차원의 국가이미지를 제고해야 하며, 그 결과로 제품이미지 및 구매의도를 향상시킬 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

The Study on Fashion Beauty Design and Emotional Image by External Image Type of Korean Male Idol Stars

  • This study is purposed to categorize external image types of Korean male idol stars, and to understand characteristics of fashion and beauty design for each type and through such, the study is meant to identify the various types of male image and to provide data of image making. As part of the empirical study, it selected well-known 15 groups of male idol stars who were active during February of 2008 and August of 2010, categorized the image types by their photographic data, and analyzed characteristics of fashion and beauty design for each type. In order to measure the degree of image types, a survey was also conducted. The image types of male idol stars, which were classified through a workshop by a group of image-related experts, were categorized with 6 types that are Elite, Urban Chic, Charisma, Rebellious child, Toy boy, and Homme Fatale. The six types of male idol stars have a great relation with the modern male trends and images, and that the male idol stars have been leading the trends and presenting the image by the public preference. In addition, as shown the above, the recent male image appears as a mixed image of femininity and masculinity, showing a complex aspect that does not dominates with one image, and that it was found out to constantly be changing in the flow of times.

A Noisy Infrared and Visible Light Image Fusion Algorithm

  • To solve the problems of the low image contrast, fuzzy edge details and edge details missing in noisy image fusion, this study proposes a noisy infrared and visible light image fusion algorithm based on non-subsample contourlet transform (NSCT) and an improved bilateral filter, which uses NSCT to decompose an image into a low-frequency component and high-frequency component. High-frequency noise and edge information are mainly distributed in the high-frequency component, and the improved bilateral filtering method is used to process the high-frequency component of two images, filtering the noise of the images and calculating the image detail of the infrared image's high-frequency component. It can extract the edge details of the infrared image and visible image as much as possible by superimposing the high-frequency component of infrared image and visible image. At the same time, edge information is enhanced and the visual effect is clearer. For the fusion rule of low-frequency coefficient, the local area standard variance coefficient method is adopted. At last, we decompose the high- and low-frequency coefficient to obtain the fusion image according to the inverse transformation of NSCT. The fusion results show that the edge, contour, texture and other details are maintained and enhanced while the noise is filtered, and the fusion image with a clear edge is obtained. The algorithm could better filter noise and obtain clear fused images in noisy infrared and visible light image fusion.

  • Histogram equalization is extensively used for image contrast enhancement in various applications due to its effectiveness and its modest functions. In image research, image enhancement is one of the most significant and arduous technique. The image enhancement aim is to improve the visual appearance of an image. Different kinds of images such as satellite images, medical images, aerial images are affected from noise and poor contrast. So it is important to remove the noise and improve the contrast of the image. Therefore, for this purpose, we apply a median filter on MR image as the median filter remove the noise and preserve the edges effectively. After applying median filter on MR image we have used intensity transformation function on the filtered image to increase the contrast of the image. Than applied the histogram equalization (HE) technique on the filtered image. The simple histogram equalization technique over enhances the brightness of the image due to which the important information can be lost. Therefore, adaptive histogram equalization (AHE) and contrast limited histogram equalization (CLAHE) techniques are used to enhance the image without losing any information.

영상 피라미드 기반 영상 모자이크를 위한 접합선 추출 (Seamline Detection for Image Mosaicking with Image Pyramid)

  • Image mosaicking is one of the basic and important technologies in the field of application using images. The key of image mosaicking is to extract seamlines from a joint image. The method proposed in this paper for image mosaicking is as follows. The feature points of the images to be joined are extracted and the joining form between the two images is identified. A reference position for detection the seamlines were selected according to the joint form, and an image pyramid was created for efficient image processing. The outlines of the image including buildings and roads are extracted from the overlapping area with low resolution, and the seamlines are determined by considering the components of the outlines. Based on this, the seamlines in the high-resolution image was re-searched and finally the seamline for image mosaicking was determined. In addition, in order to minimize color distortion of the image with the determined seamline, a method of improving the quality of the mosaic image by fine correction of the mosaic area was applied. It was confirmed that the quality of the seamline extraction results applying the method proposed was reasonable.

  • Image Processing은 Image Data가 대량이고 내재된 정보가 병렬로 연관성을 가진다는 측면에서 실시간 처리가 용이하지 알다. 본 연구에서는 High Speed Real Time Image Processing을 위한 IPU(Image Processing Unit)와 이를 구동하기 위한 High Speed Real Time image Processing Language인 IPASM(Image Processing Assembly)을 제안한다. 우선 IPU의 기본개념을 설명하고 IPU의 구현을 위한 IPLU(Image Processing Logic Unit)를 설계한다. 그 후 Window98환경에서 구동 가능한 IPASM Interpreter를 실제로 제작하여 IPU의 동작방식을 간접적으로 진단한다.

정지영상 데이터베이스의 효율적 인식자 생성 (Efficient Generation of Image Identifiers for Image Database)

  • The image identification methodology associates an image with a unique identifiable representation. Whenever the methodology regenerates an identifier for the same image, moreover, the newly created identifier needs to be consistent in terms of representation value. In this paper, we discuss a methodology for image identifier generation utilizing luminance correlation. We furthermore propose a method for performance enhancement of the image identifier generation. We also demonstrate the experimental evaluations for uniqueness and similarity analysis and performance improvement that have shown favorable results.

  • Image Hash specifies as a descriptor that can be used to measure similarity in images. Among all image Hash methods, histogram based image Hash has robustness to common noise-like operation and various geometric except histogram _equalization. In this_paper an improved histogram based Image Hash that is using "Imadjust" filter I together is proposed. This paper has achieved a satisfactory performance level on histogram equalization as well as geometric deformation.

디지털 흉부 방사선 영상에서 Hybrid Filter와 Inverse Filter를 적용한 종양의 검출능 평가 (Evaluation of Cancer Detection Efficiency by Means of Hybrid and Inverse Filter in Chest Radiography)

  • 본 연구에서는, 흉부단순사진에 있어서 종양그림자의 검출에 대한 흑백 Inverse image과 Hybrid image의 유용성을 ROC해석으로 검토하였다. 증례의 선택은 일본방사선기술학회가 발행한 표준 Digital 영상 Date Base로부터 30장을 선택 하여 original image로 하였다. c언어를 통해 Inverse image는 60장, Hybrid image는 30장 제작하였다. 실험방법으로 연속 판독실험을 하였고, ROC실험 display program은 Matlap을 통하여 작성하였다. 관찰자의 수는 Inverse image의 경우 방사선사 5명과 방사선의 2명, 합계 7명으로 실험하였다. Hybrid 영상의 경우, 방사선 전공자 3명과 숙련된 방사선사 2명, 합계 5명으로 실험하였다. ROC곡선은 Metz가 작성한 ROCKIT Program을 이용하여 구하였다. Inverse image의 경우 관찰자 7명 전원, 방사선과의 2명, 방사선사 5명의 평균 ROC곡선의 Az는 각각 original image의 0.742, 0.793, 0.721에서, Inverse image의 0.775, 0.821, 0.753까지로, 통계적 유의차로 증가하였다. Hybrid image의 경우 관찰자 5명 전원, 숙련된 방사선사 2명, 방사선학 전공자 3명의 평균 ROC곡선의 Az는 각각 original image의 0.525, 0.491, 0.5478에서, Hybrid 영상의 0.4868, 0.539, 0.450로 변화 하였다. 결론적으로, 흉부단순사진에서 종양의 검출에 관하여, Inverse image은 유의하지만, Hybrid 영상의 경우 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다.
