만물 접속 네트워크의 소셜 그룹 관리를 이용한 블록체인 프로토콜 운영 방안 (The Operation of Blockchain Protocol using Social Group Management of Network of Everything.)

  • 본 논문에서는 분산 원장의 미들웨어 플랫폼으로 예상되는 블록체인 시스템의 실질적인 운영과 관련하여 블록체인 그룹 구조의 단점에 대하여 연구하고 이를 해결하기 위한 해결책으로 현재 ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 에서 표준화가 진행중인 만물 네트워크 프로토콜의 사물 유저 소셜 그룹 관리기능을 이용한 블록체인의 운영 방법을 제시하였다. ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 에서 표준화가 진행중인 만물네트워크의 사물 유저 소셜 그룹 관리기능은 안정적인 프로토콜 기능과 데이터 전송 관리를 제공하고 있으며 멤버 디스커버리기능, 데이터 전송 통로 관리기능 등의 그룹 관리 기능을 제공하고 있다. 이러한 기능을 블록체인 플랫폼에 활용할 수 있어서 블록체인 멤버 관리 및 그룹 관리 기능에 도움이 될 것으로 예상하며 표준화가 진행되고 있는 ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 의 미래 네트워크 기능과 구조에 적극 반영하고자 한다.

Synthesis and Characterization of Aluminum and Gallium Complexes of Heterocyclic Thiosemicarbazones. Crystal Structures of $Me_2M[SC_4H_3CHNNC(S)SCH_3$] (M=Al, Ga)

  • The synthesis and characterization of the monomeric group 13 heterocyclic thiosemicarbazone complexes $Me_2M[SC_4H_3CHNNC(S)SCH_3]$ (M=Al (2), Ga (3)) are described. Compounds 2-3 were prepared using $MMe_3$ (M=Al, Ga) in toluene with 2-thiophenecarboxaldehyde-S-methyldithiocarbazat e under anaerobic conditions. These complexes have been characterized by $^1H\;NMR,\; ^{13}C\; NMR$, elemental analyses, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group $P2_1/c$ with unit cell parameters a=10.2930(5) Å, b=18.564 (1) Å, c=7.3812(6) Å, V=1347.9(2) Å3, $D_{calc}=1.342\; gcm^{-3}$ for Z=4, 9281 reflections with $I_o<3{\sigma}\;(I_o),$ R1=0.0500 and wR2=0.0526. 3 crystalizes in the orthorhombic space group $P_{bca}$ with unit cell parameters a=13.340(3) Å, b=19.9070(5) Å, c=11.3690(2) Å, $V=2673.88(9)\;{\AA}^3$, $D_{calc}=1.511\; gcm^{-3}$ for Z=8, 17004 reflections with $I_o>3{\sigma}\;(I_o),$, R1=0.0480 and wR2=0.0524. Compound 3 is a monomeric gallium compound with a weak interaction between the pendant thiophene and the gallium center.

  • 내열 복합 재료에 사용되는 경화된 페놀 수지(DURITE SC-1008)의 열분해 상수를 알아보기 위하여 Henderson and Freidman 분석법을 이용하여 반응 속도 상수를 구하였다. 가열 속도는 5,10, $20^{\circ}C$/min으로 변화 시켰으며 각각의 중량 감소 곡선으로부터 속도 상수 값을 구하였다. 열분해 반응은 크게 두 구간으로 나누어 진행되었으며 이러한 반응을 모사하기 위하여 반응 구간에 따른 속도 상수 값을 구하였다. 또한 실험 상수 값의 정확성을 확인하기 위하여 이론 열중량 곡선식을 직접 유도하여 상수 값을 대입한 결과 그 차이는 상관 계수가 1.19로써 실제 실험 값과 이론식에서 얻어진 값이 거의 일치되었다 그러므로 열분해 반응을 모사하기 위해서는 변화된 가열 속도에 따라서 중량 감소량을 구한 후 열분해 반응 구간을 분리하여 반응 상수론 구하는 것이 필요하다.

중성자방사화분석을 활용한 경상남도 백자의 산지 및 특성 분류 (The Provenance and Characteristic Classification of the White Porcelain in the Gyeongsangnam-do by Neutron Activation Analysis)

  • 경상도지역의 두동리, 백련리, 사촌리 가마터 출토 백자편 총 47점에 대하연 중성자방사화분석으로 태토의 미량성분 함량을 측정하고 주성분분석(PCA)과 판별분석(LDA)으로 통계처리하여 가마터별 산지 및 특성을 분류해보았다. 주성분분석과 판별분석에서 이용한 미량성분은 17개(Ba, Ce, Co, Cr, Cs, Dy, Eu, Hf, La, Lu, Rb, Sc, Sm, Ta, Th, V, Yb) 원소이며, 분류에 기여한 원소는 6개(Dy, Sm, La, Ce, Lu, Sc) 원소로 확인된다. 가시적 특징에 따라 구분되는 연질과 경질백자는 미량성분의 화학적 조성이 유사하여 원료의 조성 차이가 없는 것으로 확인되나, 양질(I)과 조질백자(II)는 화학적 조성에 차이가 나타남에 따라 원료의 채취 장소나 수비와 첨가제 사용의 제작 과정에 차이가 있었을 것으로 판단된다.

$BF_2$ 이온 주입한 표면 채널 LDD PMOSFET의 Hot-Carrier 효과 (Hot-Carrier Effects of $BF_2$ Ion-Implanted Surface-Channel LDD PMOSFET)

  • Hot-carrier induced degradation has been studied for the BF$_2$ ion-implanted surface-channel LDD(P$^{+}$ polysilicon gate) PMOSFET in comparison to the buried-channel structure(N$^{+}$ polysilicon gate) PMOSFET. The conditions for maximum degradation better correlated to I$_{g}$ than I$_{sub}$ for both PMOSFET's. Due to the use of LDD structure on SC-PMOSFET, the substrate current for SC-PMOSFET was shown to be smaller than that of BC-PMOSFET. The gate current was smaller as well, due to the gate material work-function difference between p$^{+}$ and n$^{+}$ polysilicon gates. From the results, it was shown that the surface-channel LDD PMOSFET is more resistant to short channel effect than the buried-channel PMOSFET.

A WblA-Binding Protein, SpiA, Involved in Streptomyces Oxidative Stress Response

  • The Streptomyces coelicolor wblA gene is known to play a negative role in both antibiotic biosynthesis and the expression of genes responding to oxidative stress. Recently, WhcA, a WblA ortholog protein, was confirmed to interact with dioxygenase-encoding SpiA ($\underline{s}$tress $\underline{p}$rotein $\underline{i}$nteracting with Whc$\underline{A}$) in Corynebacterium glutamicum. We describe here the identification of a SpiA ortholog SCO2553 protein ($SpiA_{sc}$) that interacts with WblA in S. coelicolor. Using heterologous expression in E. coli and in vitro pull-down assays, we show that WblA specifically binds $SpiA_{sc}$, and is influenced by oxidants such as diamide. These data indicate that the interaction between WblA and $SpiA_{sc}$ is not only specific but also modulated by the redox status of the cell. Moreover, a $spiA_{sc}$-disruption mutant exhibited a less sensitive response to the oxidative stress induced by diamide present in solid plate culture. Real-time RT-PCR analysis also showed that transcription levels of oxidative stress response genes (sodF, sodF2, and trxB) were higher in the $spiA_{sc}$-deletion mutant than in wild-type S. coelicolor. These results show that $SpiA_{sc}$ negatively regulates WblA during oxidative stress responses in S. coelicolor.

TransferJet 시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of a TransferJet System)

  • 본 논문에서는 근접 전기유도 무선통신 시스템의 표준 기술인 TransferJet 시스템의 BER(Bit Error Ratio) 성능이 분석된다. TransferJet 시스템은 타 무선통신 시스템들과 비교해서 짧은 통신 범위(즉, 무선통신환경에서 높은 보안성), 더 적은 다중경로 왜곡, 그리고 높은 전송률을 제공하는 장점이 있다. 수신신호를 복조하기 위하여 TransferJet 수신단의 역확산기와 복조기에 연판정 결합(SC: soft-decision combining) 혹은 경판정 결합(HC: hard-decision combining)이 적용될 수 있다. 확산계수가 4이상인 경우에 SC 방식은 HC에 비하여 최소 2 dB의 SNR 이득을 제공한다. 또한, 모의실험 결과로부터, 3비트 양자화는 이중-정밀 부동소수점과 거의 동일한 성능을 제공하기 때문에 TransferJet 시스템에서 SC 방식에 대한 최적 양자화 비트는 3비트로 결론지을 수 있다.

A comparative study of Sargassum horneri Korea and China strains collected along the coast of Jeju Island South Korea: its components and bioactive properties

  • Sargassum horneri is edible brown seaweed abundant along the coasts of Jeju Island, South Korea. In addition to the native S. horneri population, a large amount of S. horneri has been found to invade Jeju Island from the east coast of China. Thus, S. horneri of both Korea (SK) and China (SC) strains now inhabits along with the shore of Jeju Island and have become a threat to the coastal biodiversity. However, they could be used in obtaining functional ingredients for industrial level applications provided an optimized cost effective strategy. In the present study, we compared SK and SC strains for the extraction efficiency, components, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties of 80% methanolic extracts and their partially purified fractions. According to the results, two strains indicated similar bioactive properties such as DPPH and alkyl radical scavenging activity as well as anti-inflammatory activities on lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. The yield of 80% methanol extract from SC was higher than SK. However, the yields of the ethyl acetate and chloroform fractions from SK were higher than those of SC strain. The major peaks in the high-performance liquid chromatography chromatograms, which was identified as Apo-9 fucoxanthinone, indicated that both methanolic extracts of SK and SC contains major target peaks but with different amounts. This study might be useful for developing functional materials from SC and SK in future.

CJ-50001 (recombinant human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor)의 흰쥐와 개에서의 약물동태학적 연구 (Pharmacokinetics of CJ-50001i Recombinant Human Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor, in Rats and Dogs)

  • The pharmacokinetics of CJ-50001 (recombinant human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor, developed by R&D center of Cheil Jedang Corp.) were investigated in rats and dogs. The serum concentrations of CJ-50001 were measured by a sandwich enzyme immunoassay. After single intravenous (iv) administration of Cf-50001 to rats at a dose of 5 $\mu$g/kg, the mean terminal half-life and area under the concentration-time curve (AUC) were 0.96 h and 124.497g . h/ml, respectively. After single subcutaneous (sc) administration at the same dose, maximum serum concentration was observed at about 2 hours after administration, and the mean terminal half-life, AUC and the bioavailability were 1.11 h,63.58$\mu$g . h/ml and 51.07%, respectively. In repeated dosing studies, CJ-50001 was administered iv and sc to rats at a daily dose of 5$\mu$g/kg for 7 days. The pharmacokinetic parameters, such as mean AUC and terminal half-life, were no significantly different from those of single administration. Following single iv and sc administration of CJ-50001 to dogs at a dose of 5 $\mu$g/kg, mean AUCs were much higher than those of rats, due to the decreased clearence (CL). After sc administration to dogs, maximum serum concentration was observed at 2~4 hours after administration and the bioavailability was 54.60%.

Generation of 1E8 Single Chain Fv-Fc Construct Against Human CD59

  • Background: Therapeutic approaches using monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against complement regulatory proteins (CRPs:i.e.,CD46,CD55 and CD59) have been reported for adjuvant cancer therapy. In this study, we generated a recombinant 1E8 single-chain anti-CD59 antibody (scFv-Fc) and tested anti-cancer effect.by using complement dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). Methods: We isolated mRNA from 1E8 hybridoma cells and amplified the variable regions of the heavy chain (VH) and light chain (VL) genes using reversetranscriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Using a linker, the amplified sequences for the heavy and light chains were each connected to the sequence for a single polypeptide chain that was designed to be expressed. The VL and VH fragments were cloned into the pOptiVEC-TOPO vector that contained the human CH2-CH3 fragment. Then, 293T cells were transfected with the 1E8 single-chain Fv-Fc (scFv-Fc) constructs. CD59 expression was evaluated in the prostate cancer cell lines using flow cytometry. The enhancement of CDC effect by mouse 1E8 and 1E8 scFv-Fc were evaluated using a cytotoxicity assay. Results: The scFv-Fc constructs were expressed by the transfected 293T cells and secreted into the culture medium. The immunoreactivity of the secreted scFv-Fc construct was similar to that of the mouse 1E8 for CCRF-CEM cells. The molecular masses of 1E8 scFv-Fc were about 120 kDa and 55 kDa under reducing and non-reducing conditions, respectively. The DNA sequence of 1E8 scFv-Fc was obtained and presented. CD59 was highly expressed by the prostate cancer cell line. The recombinant 1E8 scFv-Fc mAb revealed significantly enhanced CDC effect similar with mouse 1E8 for prostate cancer cells. Conclusion: A 1E8 scFv-Fc construct for adjuvant cancer therapy was developed.
