개폐식 3방향 전자밸브의 펄스폭 변조 구동에 의한 압력제어 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pressure Control Characteristics of ON/OFF 3-way Solenoid Valve Driven by PWM Signal)

  • Pressure control is possible driving a simple ON/OFF 3-way valve of hydraulic servo system by pulse width modulation signal. But the pressure varies according to the duty ratio and carrier frequency and repeated on-off action induces pressure fluctuation. So equations for mean pressure and ripple amplitude are theoretically derived as a function of on/off time, the system parameters which decide the pressure characteristics are arranged and they are verified by experimental study. As the result selection criteria for the major design parameters are established and the basic strategy to suppress the unnecessary fluctuation can be provided for a hydraulic pressure control system using these type of valves.

  • Pressure control is possible by pulse width modulation signal driving a simple ON/OFF 2-way valve of hydraulic servo system. But it indices pressure fluctuation due to repeated on-off action and the pressure varies according to the duty ratio and carrier frequency. So mean pressure and ripple amplitude are arranged by experimental study as the driving signal change which decides the pressure characteristics. As the result selection criteria of the major design parameters may be established and the basic strategy to suppress the unnecessary flucturion may be provided for a hydraulic pressure control system.

  • The purpose of this study is to build up the control scheme that promptly controls the pressure in a hydraulic cylinder having small control volume, using a PCV(proportional control valve) and a digital computer. Object pressure control system has the character to be unstable easily, because the displacement-flow gain of the PCV is so large considering comparatively small volume of the hydraulic cylinder and the time delay of response of PCV is long. Considering the above-mentioned characteristics of the object pressure control system, in this study, a control system is designed with two degree of freedom scheme that is composed by adding a feed-forward control path to I-PD control system, and the reference model is used to decide control parameters. And through some experiments on FF-I-PD, the validity of this control method is confirmed.

  • In this study, digital simulation with nonlinear modeling is carried out to analyse the performance of a hydraulic servomotor system developed for the position control of a large inertia. Nonlinear element, such as nonlinear pressure flow relationships of servovalve, valve spool limits, nonlinear friction, and backlash and resilience of gear system are included in the simulation along with the dynamic characteristics of variable delivery pump compensation mechanism. Simulation results are compared with experimental results for both step and sinusoidal inputs. Independent of input magnitude, both results are in good agreement with minor differences in detail.

  • In a hydraulic control system, since a hydraulic cylinder drives a relatively large mass of an object, an external load force acts as a disturbance on the control performance of the system. Additionally, as the hydraulic system is used for a long period, there are disturbances that occur gradually, such as a drop in supply pressure because of abrasion of the pump, oil leakage from a valve, and oil leakage from a cylinder. In this study, a state feedback controller based on a linearization technique is applied. To prevent the performance degradation of the controller from the load disturbance, an Extended Luenberger observer (ELO) is used for the Extended system. The case of using the proportional controller, which is a representative linear controller, and the result of using the controller designed in this study are compared and reviewed through simulation. Also, we propose an experimental gain-setting method for a state feedback controller that can be used at industrial sites, and examine how the stability and control performance of the system changes because of the disturbance inputs through the experimental results.

Considering the above-mentioned characteristics of the object pressure control system, in this study, control system is designed with two degree of freedom control scheme that is composed by adding a feed-forward control path to I-PDD$^{2}$ control system, and a reference model is used on the decision of control parameters. And through some experiments on the control system with FF-I-PDD$^{2}$ controller, the validity of this control method has been confirmed.

토크모터의 정특성과 동특성 해석 (An Analysis of Static and Dynamic Characteristics of Torque Motor)

  • In the early of 1950, the high response magnetic torque motor was developed for driving electro-hydraulic servo valves. Since then it has been broadly used for industrial application and the research of development or improvement of the torque motor is still being conducted. The purpose of this study is to present useful design criteria for the torque motor design. For this, torque motor is modelled and linearized. The static characteristics of the torque motor are investigated by direct computation of the derived linearlized equations. The dynamic characteristics of the torque motor are investigated with the derived transfer function by using Matlab and compared with the results of the linearlized analysis by using AMESim simulation with actual values of the physical parameters. Finally, the design criteria obtained from the analysis are reviewed.

  • The purpose of this paper was to design an effective control system of 1-axis exciter for a seat vibration test of agricultural tractors using MATLAB simulation. The developed simulation model was composed with a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic servo valve, a hydraulic cylinder and load system. Also it was verified by comparing the simulation results with experimental results of actual control system in order to optimize the control performance. And in order to improve its control performance, the designed PID controller in this research was tuned using Ziegler-Nichols 2nd law and zero's moving method of PID controller's transfer function. As the result of these research, the developed position control system was able to control the system's position accurately within 5% errors.

유압원격제어를 위한 덤프와 감압밸브의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Dump and Reducing Valve for Hydraulic Remote Control System)

  • In recent, the requirement of remote control of hychaulic system is in- creasing. The actuator unit whose output position is proportional to input electrical signal needs a pressure reducer and a dump valve. The pressure reducer provides a constant regulated pressure and filters contaminants. The dump valve supplies proper pressure to the pressure reducer and unloads when the system is not operated. In this thesis, dump valve and pressure reducer with auxiliary function are studied. The choke in the pressure reducer prevents actuator from supplying higher pressure than necessary pressure at beginning, and the spring constant affects on the dynamic characterisics. In dump valve, it is proved that diameter of servo-slide hold and choke diameter of dump plunger affects on damping response.

  • Hydraulic fitting impulse tester is equipment which produce impulse pressure waveform that specified foreign standard of SAE, JIS etc. Test conditions of SAE J1453 about waveform standard indicates frequency of 35-70 cycle/min, pressure of 560 bar, oil temperature of 93 .+-.3.deg. C etc. and required cycle is a million over. In additions, Test condition operated continuously equipment. This development item adopted new pattern method such as intensifier and rotary distributor is different from already established fitting impulse tester applied servo valve and high pressure direct directional control valve. Therefore, this development item which compares already established item is good reliability, low cost of manufacture and save of electric energy. especially, Domestic small and medium enterprise uses this tester because of economical cause. We develope appropriateness tester which conforms to demand of user.
