맥동흡수용 유압필터에 의한 유압전동장치의 압력맥동 감쇠 (Pressure Ripple Reduction in Hydrostatic Transmissions by Using a Hydraulic Filter)

  • This paper deals with pressure ripple attenuation far separated-type Hydrostatic Transmission (HST) consisting ova variable axial piston pump connected in an open loop to a fried displacement axial piston motor. Pressure ripples in HST is major source of vibration which can lead to fatigue failure of components and cause noise. In order to reduce the pressure ripple, an annular tube tripe hydraulic filter is proposed to attenuate pressure ripples with the high frequencies components to achieve better noise reduction in HST. The basic principle of a hydraulic filter is allied to propagation of pressure wave, reflection, absorption in cross section of discontinuity and resonance in the hydraulic pipeline. It is experimentally shown that the hydraulic filter attenuates about 30∼40dB of pressure ripple with high frequencies. These results will assist in modeling and design of noise reduction in hydraulic control systems, and provide a means of designing a quieter HST.

  • The mixture of bentonite powder and water is generally used to maintain the stability of excavation surface during the construction of vertical cutoff walls. The filter cake on the sidewall surface is the result of filtration of slurry into the adjacent soil formation. The filter cake is believed to have a very low hydraulic conductivity compared to that of the cutoff wall. This paper evaluates hydraulic conductivities of bentonite filter cakes set up with three types of bentonites under various pressure levels. A modified fluid loss test was employed in this experiment. Theory of filtration process was reviewed to explain the procedure in the present experiment. Hydraulic conductivity of the filter cakes with consideration of the filter medium resistance was evaluated. The results of the experiment with two calculation methods and discussion are presented to show the efficiency of the modified fluid loss test.

  • The hydraulic pressure pulsation has on the effected on the acoustic nosie and control performance of the hydraulic-servo system. The Helmholtz attenuator introduction on the hydraulic line is an efficient device to reduce the hydraulic pulsation. The salient feature of causing hydraulic pulsation and the frequency characteristics of Helmholtz attenuator are studied. The hydraulic filter design parameters such as the locating position, connecting orifice area and accumulator volume are mathematically analyzed. The instrumental works are carried out with the remarkable reduction of the hydraulic pressure pulsation magnitude and the acoustic noise level.

  • In this paper, a Helmholtz resonator type hydraulic filter is proposed to absorb flow and pressure ripple produced from a axial piston pump. The basic principle of hydraulic filter is applied to propagation of preossure waves, reflection, absorption in cross section of discontinuity and resonance in the pipeline. This filter has advantage of the compact size and high degree of freedom of installation. The design scheme of hydraulic filter based on viscous wave theory are developed and manufactured two kinds of filter to investigate damping capability. It is experimently confirmed that these filter is absorbed to be about 20dB of flow and pressure ripple with high frequencies.

  • In this study a new pattern of pressure control of hydraulic cylinder using high speed On-Off solenoid valve in the electro-hydraulic system has been suggested. The control valve is 3-way high speed On-Off solenoid valve which is operated by PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)control signal. The high speed On-Off solenoid valve has a tendency to induce severe pressure fluctuation in the hydraulic actuator so it has not been used for the purpose of closed loop control with direct pres-sure feedback. In this study closed loop control with direct pressure feedback is enabled by using a digital filter which has linear minimum mean square filter algorithm. Through some experiments it is confirmed that stable pressure control can be realized by the proposed control technique.

육상양식장 배출수내 생물학적 질소처리시 수리학적 체류시간의 영향 (Effect of Hydraulic Retention Time on Biological Nitrogen Removal in Land-based Fish Farm Wastewater)

  • This study investigated the removal efficiency of organic matter and nitrogen from fish farm effluent by hydraulic retention time (HRT) using an upflow biological filter (ANR system) reactor. The recycling time and influent flow in the reactor were controlled to 14.8, 7.4, 5.5 and 3.2 h to evaluate HRT. In addition, each reactor was coupled to a fixed bed upflow filter charged with media. The results showed that removal efficiency was ${\geq}95%%$ with an HRT of 5.5 h, and nitrification efficiency was reduced to 81% with an HRT of 3.2 h, although nitrification efficiency temporarily decreased due to the shock load as HRT decreased. Total nitrogen removal rate was also reduced to about 65% with an HRT of 3.2 h, which was considered a washout effect of nitrifying and denitrifying microorganisms by increasing the shearing force to the filter media, which decreased organic matter and nitrogen removal efficiency.

도시 강우유출수를 처리하는 나무여과상자의 장기 처리효율에 영향을 주는 수리학적 및 수문학적 인자 연구 (Hydrologic and Hydraulic Factors Affecting the Long-term Treatment Performance of an Urban Stormwater Tree Box Filter)

  • 식생체류지 기법 중 하나인 나무여과상자는 유역면적 및 강우유출수의 특성에 따라 기법의 용적 및 수질 저감 능력 조정이 가능한 도시 저영향개발 기술이다. 본 연구는 주차장 강우유출수 처리를 위해 6년동안 운영된 나무여과상자의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 수행되었다. 또한 나무여과상자의 저감 능력에 영향을 미치는 수리 수문학적 요인들을 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 강수량의 증가는 나무여과상자의 유출량, 평균유량 및 첨두유량 감소 등의 수리 수문학적 성능이 감소되는 것으로 평가되었다(r = -0.53 to -0.59; p < 0.01). TSS, 유기물, 영양물질 및 중금속 등의 오염물질은 나무여과상자 내 충진된 여재의 여과 및 흡착, 침투, 증산발 기작 등을 통하여 저감되는 것으로 나타났다(p < 0.001). 또한 유출량, 평균유량, 첨두유량, 체류시간 및 강우지속시간 등과 같은 수리 수문학적 요인의 영향을 받는 것으로 평가되었다. 이는 나무여과상자 시설을 유역면적 대비 시설의 표면적을 1 % 미만으로 설계 시 특히 유용한 것으로 나타났다.

필터간격을 고려한 농업용저수지 제체의 침투특성 (Seepage Characteristics of Agricultural Reservoir Embankment Considering Filter Interval)

  • This study analyzed pore water pressure, seepage and leakage quantity, height of seepage and critical hydraulic gradient in order to suggest the seepage characteristics of agricultural reservoir embankment considering filter interval. The seepage characteristics of a deteriorated reservoir embankments were conducted according to the horizontal filter intervals range using three- dimensional finite element analysis. The wider the horizontal filter interval, the higher the pore water pressure increased, and the pore water pressure ratio in the center of the core has a greater effect than the base part. The seepage and leakage quantity appeared largely in the two-dimensional analysis conditions (case 1), where the filter was constructed totally in the longitudinal direction of the embankment, the wider the horizontal filter interval was gradually reduced. The reasonable filter intervals to yield efficient seepage characteristics were within 30 m for the pore water pressure of the core and the height of the seepage line. The stability of the filter installation was able to evaluate the stability of the piping by the critical hydraulic gradient method. The deteriorated reservoir with no filters or decreased functionality can significantly reduce the possibility of piping by simply installing a filter on the downstream slope. In the future, the deteriorated reservoir embankment should be checked for the reservoir remodeling because the core and filter functions have been lost or decreased significantly. In the case of a new installation, the seepage characteristic behavior due to the core and filter changes should be applied to the field after obtaining a reasonable horizontal filter interval that satisfies the safety factor by a three-dimensional analysis.
