보행 로봇을 위한 서보밸브 구동 유압 액추에이터의 특성 분석 (A Study of Hydraulic Actuator Based On Electro Servo Valve For A Walking Robot)

  • This paper describes of a mathematical and real experimental analysis for a walking robot which uses servo valve driven hydraulic actuator. Recently, many researchers are developing a walking robot based on hydraulic systems for the difficult and dangerous missions such as walking in the rough terrain and carrying a heavy load. In order to design and control a walking robot, the characteristics of the hydraulic actuators in the joint through the view point of walking such as controllability and backdrivability must be analyzed. A general mathematical model was used for analysis and proceeds to position and pressure changes characteristic of the input and backdrivability experiment. The result shows the actuator is a velocity source, had a high impedance, the output stiffness is high in contact with the rigid external force. So stand above the controller and instruments that complement the design characteristics can be seen the need to apply a hydraulic actuator in walking robot.

  • Hydraulic coupling systems play an important role in easily connecting or disconnecting pipes or hoses that transmit high-pressure fluids without hydraulic oil leakage in hydraulic power transmission equipment. A flat-face hydraulic quick coupler is a recently developed product that can reduce environmental pollution by minimizing hydraulic oil leakage during connection and disconnection. In this study, the influence of the shape of the inner ring of a 3/8" flat-face hydraulic quick coupler on its internal flow characteristics was analyzed and evaluated by numerical analysis based on computational fluid dynamics. The flow velocity distribution, temperature distribution, and optimal shape design of the inner ring were obtained by comparing the results of the flow characteristics, such as the pressure drop.

  • Many cases of strategically designed groundwater remediation have lack of information of hydraulic conductivity or permeability, which can render remediation methods inefficient. Many studies have been carried out to minimize this shortcoming by determining detailed hydraulic information either through direct or indirect measurements. One popular method for hydraulic characterization is the pilot point method (PPM), where the hydraulic property is estimated at a small number of strategically selected points using secondary measurements such as hydraulic head or tracer concentration. This paper adopted a D-optimality based pilot point method (DBM) developed previously for hydraulic head measurements and extended it to include both hydraulic head and tracer measurements. Based on different combinations of trials, our analysis showed that DBM performs well when hydraulic head is used for pilot point selection and both hydraulic head and tracer measurements are used for determining the conductivity values.

  • The most important parameter for hydraulic active suspension system is to sustain desirable vehicle maneuvering stability and ride comfort without increasing consumption power. The performance of hydraulic active suspension system depends on damping force of body damping valve and piston damping valve. Hydraulic actuator design and damping valve parameter selection are essential and basic procedure to design hydraulic active suspension system. This paper is on computer simulation with use of mathematical model that was delivered from dynamic characteristic of hydraulic actuator, as know basic damping characteristics of hydraulic active suspension system. The aim of this paper is to select the system parameter that affect mainly hydraulic active suspension, and identify the validity on the system parameter selection.

평판형 수압파쇄 균열을 통과하는 다공질유동 특성에 관한 DNS 해석 연구 (DNS STUDY ON THE FLOW CHARACTERISTICS THROUGH SIMPLE POROUS HYDRAULIC FRACTURES)

  • The flow analyses through a porous hydraulic fractures is among the most important tasks in recently developed shale reservoirs but is rendered difficult by non-Darcy effects and geometric changes in the hydraulic fractures during production. In this study, several Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) models of hydraulic fractures, with a simple shape such as that of parallel plates, filled with proppants were built. Direct Numerical Simulation(DNS) analyses were then carried out to examine the flow loss characteristics of the fractures. The hydraulic diameters for the simulation models were calculated using the DNS results, and then they were compared with the results from Kozeny's definition of hydraulic diameter which is most widely used in the flow analysis field. Also, the characteristic parameters based on both hydraulic diameters were estimated for the investigation of the flow loss variation features. Consequently, it was checked in this study that the hydraulic diameter based on Kozeny's definition is not accordant to the results from the DNS analyses, and the case using the CFD results exhibits f Re robustness like general pipe flows, whereas the other case using Kozeny's definition doesn't. Ultimately, it is expected that discoveries reported in this study would help further porous flow analyses such as hydraulic fracture flows.

유압 브레이커의 타격 에너지 측정을 위한 유압 변환장치 개발 (Development of the Hydraulic Pressure Transducer System for Testing the Impact Energy of Hydraulic Breaker)

  • Hydraulic breaker of excavator has been used for the destruction and disassembling of buildings, crashing road pavement, breaking rocks at quaky and etc. The performance of breakers is evaluated their own destructive force and the number of impact by input hydraulic flow rate and pressure on the operating conditions. Because hydraulic breakers generate high impact energy, the accurate measurement of the impact force has been facing a technical challenge. In this study, the hydraulic pressure transducer system was developed based on the characteristics of pressure variation in closed vessel fur testing the impact energy. The hydraulic pressure transducer system is consisted with a hydraulic cylinder, main base, pressure & temperature sensors, LVDT, data acquisition system and etc. The developed hydraulic pressure transducer system was applied to measure the impact energy for hydraulic breaker. The measured impact force was 438.8 kgf.m within the designed impact force bounds. The developed hydraulic pressure transducer system as a simple tester could be applied to measure the impact force and the number of impact.

  • The frequency response of a electro-hydraulic servo(EHS) system is studied. The frequensy response characteristics of the EHS system obtained by linerization method, nonlinerar simulation method, and experimentation are compared ane another. It is found that the frequency response of the EHS is consistent when input signal applied is very small, but that is deviated as input signal becomes large.

소하천에서 유로변경에 따른 수리특성 분석 (Analysis of Hydraulic Characteristics for Stream Diversion in Small Stream)

  • 본 연구는 자연하천에서 유로변경 계획구간에 대한 수리특성을 수치모형시험을 통해 분석하는 것이다. 이 연구를 통해 하천공사 특히 홍수시 피해방지와 하천의 흐름특성을 파악하는 기보자료를 제공할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 수리특성분석을 위해 1차원 모형은 HEC-RAS 모형과 2차원 유한요소모형인 RMA2 모혀이 어떻게 유로만곡부의 흐름형태와 급경사면, 복잡한 하상형태 등의 하천 흐름특성에 영향을 미치는가를 분석하는데, HEC-RAS보다 더 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.
