  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was carried out to review for hydrotherapy, phototherapy, cupping therapy, therapeutic touch and massage as a Korean traditional physical therapy. Methods : This is literature study with books, and thesis. Results : The physical therapy that is in use nowadays has been around since human being started to live on the earth. In primitive times, when men were injured while hunting, they washed the wound in clinic water and dried it out in the sunshine, they also soaked their bodies in hot springs to decrease physical fatigue, Heating of injured tissue has been used for centuries for pain relief and muscle spasm. Conclusion : Korean traditional physical therapy has been developed and its scientific effects has been proven, It is required, to continue to carry out studying on this field.

  • Recently, it was very difficult for hydraulic governor to regulate the speed of high power engine with long stroke at low speed and low load, because of the jiggling phenomena by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and the hunting phenomena by long dead time occurred in fuel combustion process in the engine cylinder. In this paper, the influence of engine dead time is investigated by Nickels chart, and hybrid controller selected advantages of PID and fuzzy logic controller is provided to improve the performance of speed control of a low speed and long stroke diesel engine.

  • The marine diesel engine have been widely applied with a mechanical hydraulic governor to control the ship speed for long time. But it was recently very difficult for the mechanical hydraulic governor to control the speed of engine under the condition of low speed and low load because of jiggling by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and hunting by dead time of diesel engine. In order to analyze the speed control system the transfer function was converted from z to w transformation. The author proposed velocity control system with feedback loop by PID controller in order to stabilize for unstable area. The influence of dead time was discussed by Nichols chart and unit step response curve. It was confirmed through computer simulation that the performance improvement of a mechanical hydraulic governor can be obtained by PID controller.

  • 실제 디젤 자동차를 운행할 때 헌팅이나 서지현상이 발생하여 운전상 좋지 못한 현상이 발생한다. 자동차의 디젤기관은 회전수의 안정화를 도모하기 위해서 연료 분사펌퍼의 분사량 조정봉(Rack)을 가바나의 조속기에 의해 위치 제어할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 헌팅을 억제할 목적으로 종래에 사용한 기계식 가바나 대신에 최근에 등장하고 비교적 자유로운 제어규칙을 갖도록 할 수 있는 전자식 가바나를 사용할 때 헌칭이 발생하는 조건이 시뮬레이션을 통하여 조사검토 할 수 있음을 나타내었다. 이 결과에 기초하여 헌칭의 억제는 운전상태에 따라 행할 수 있는 헌팅 억제 규칙을 얻었다.

  • Type of the high-speed train under development has been decided to be EMU(electric multiple Units) following the trend of the times, which is weak for vibration and noise due to the distributed traction unit of motors and gears than that of the articulated high-speed train. Also, passengers may feel uncomfortable at high-speed running due to the various vibration of vehicle itself and bogie, especially due to hunting, snake motion of the high-speed train. In this paper, explained was the program to develop the high-speed EMU at every step of basic and detail design and running test, predict and try to reduce the vibration.

  • The sophisticated technologies, ensuring both stability and curving performance, are required for the medium high speed train running on conventional railway line where tangent and curved section mixed together. We can hardly meet the both requirements conflicting each other with the conventional type of bogie. Effective solution is to apply stabilizing mechanism for the bogie design, which increase hunting stability or dynamically critical speed while maintaining curving performance. In this research the numerical analysis by means of multi-body dynamic simulation S/W, experiments by using roller test rig and main line running test have been comprehensively performed for the 200km/h Korean Tilting Train with newly developed stabilizer. The paper proposes the effectiveness of stabilizer and its usefulness based on the results of analyses.

  • At the turn of the 19C, the first development, spreading to the all classes that peculiar attitude of mind associated with the term prudery. The second changes of habit which affected both sexes and their undergarments were the novel idea of personal cleanliness. Drawers appear to have been of two lengths, short, when worn under breeches, and long when worn under pantaloons and trousers. The dandy wore corsets for beauty. In the early part of the 19C, the differences between day and evening style came to be accentuated. Not only the beau, but the soldier and hunting man were addicted to stays. The high standing collars of the early 1800s became fairly low in the middle of the century. in mid of the 19C, a woolen under-vest was worn next to the skin and studs were an usual fashion. At about 1850 the bottom of the shirt was cut in a curve. For evening dress the elliptic collar was introduced.

  • Manufacturing having formed spinal structure of the nation's industry is on the verge of collapse due to various kinds of reasons. We should seek and realize another sustainable engines of growth but can hardly find them except manufacturing as for now. It can be said, accordingly, that we are well advised to find the path leading to our ultimate goal just in the systems engineering approach, which can differentiate us from the neighbouring hunted and hunting countries with their inherent competitiveness. In this paper, the desirable way needed is reviewed with the direction for us to take being suggested.

  • Roller test rig is the test facility for acquiring the data related dynamic characteristics of rolling stocks handily. The test method using roller test rig could be convenient to Set information about hunting and others rather than using field test. However, adopting this method brings about the inconvenient calibration process for measured data. This kind of additional effort results from the difference of contact condition between field test and test roller rig. In this paper, the numerical approach is used to get the amount of calibration. The analysis results of the field test are compared with results of the roller test rig to know what kind of alternation happens according to the change of contact condition.
