스프링이 없는 진동형 전자기식 에너지 하베스터의 제작과 그 특성 (Fabrication of Vibration-Driven Electromagnetic Energy Harvester with Spring-Less and Its Characteristics)

  • This paper describes the fabrication and characteristics of vibration-driven electromagnetic energy harvester without spring to use at low frequency like a human body motion. The implemented energy harvester consists of NdFeB magnets, copper coil. The optimization of induced voltage was done by the various widths of coil, number of the turns, size of fixed and moving magnets and thicknesses of the cylinder. The fabricated energy harvester is capable of producing up to 15.0 $V_{pp}$ for basic model and 28.80 $V_{pp}$ for improved model at 5.0 Hz resonance frequency and 0.75 g acceleration level. The basic model and improved model are provided a maximum power of 6.375 mWand 25.831 mW at 1 KHz of load resistance in rectifier circuit.

Field measurement-based wind-induced response analysis of multi-tower building with tuned mass damper

  • The 246.8-m-tall Beijing Olympic Tower (BOT) is a new landmark in Beijing City, China. Its unique architectural style with five sub-towers and a large tower crown gives rise to complex dynamic characteristics. Thus, it is wind-sensitive, and a double-stage pendulum tuned mass damper (DPTMD) has been installed for vibration mitigation. In this study, a finite-element analysis of the wind-induced responses of the tower based on full-scale measurement results was performed. First, the structure of the BOT and the full-scale measurement are introduced. According to the measured dynamic characteristics of the BOT, such as the natural frequencies, modal shapes, and damping ratios, an accurate finite-element model (FEM) was established and updated. On the basis of wind measurements, as well as wind-tunnel test results, the wind load on the model was calculated. Then, the wind-induced responses of the BOT with the DPTMD were obtained and compared with the measured responses to assess the numerical wind-induced response analysis method. Finally, the wind-induced serviceability of the BOT was evaluated according to the field measurement results for the wind-induced response and was found to be satisfactory for human comfort.

시공단계의 진동레벨 단위적용에 관한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Application of Vibration Level Units in the Construction Phase)

  • 건설현장의 노천발파로 발생되는 지반진동은 인체의 간접피해 및 구조물의 물적 피해를 동반하며, 인체는 진동레벨, 구조물은 진동속도 단위로 평가한다. 본 연구는 실시단계 진동기준 중 진동속도 외 누락된 진동레벨 단위를 추가, 진동속도 및 진동레벨을 동시 측정한 적용사례로서 추후 민원이 예상되는 현장관리에 도움이 될 것으로 여겨진다. 발파진동 및 진동레벨 추정식 도출을 위한 표본수는 총 232개가 사용되었으며, 진동속도 0.3 cm/s와 진동레벨 75 dB(V) 기준의 지발당장약량을 비교한 결과, 후자가 20.0~40.9% 여유가 있음을 입증하여 진동레벨 단위척도 추가는 전혀 문제되지 않음을 언급하였다. 소음 진동 관리법이 우선된다면 노천발파 시공비용은 훨씬 저감될 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구에서 사용된 계측기기는 국내에서 처음으로 진동속도 및 진동레벨을 동시 측정할 수 있는 특성을 지닌 SV-1모델을 사용하였다.

  • In modern society, people live in an environment with artificial or natural noise. Especially, the sound that corresponds to the artificial noise makes the noise itself and affects each other because many people live and work in the city. Sounds are generated by the activities and causes of various people, such as construction sites, aircraft, production machinery, or road traffic. These sounds are essential elements in human life and are recognized and judged by human auditory organs. Noise is a sound that you do not want to hear by subjective evaluation, and it is a loud sound that gives hearing damage or a sound that causes physical and mental harm. In this study, we introduce the method of stimulating the human hearing by finger vibration and explain the advantages of the proposed method in various kinds of a noise environment. And how to improve the sound quality to improve efficiency. In this paper, we propose a method to prevent the loss of hearing loss and the transmission of sound information based on proper signal to noise ratio when using portable IT equipment in various noise environments.

Challenge in the Structural Design of Suzhou IFS

  • Core-outrigger-mega frame system is used in Suzhou IFS with 95-story, 450 m-tall, which is beyond Chinese code limit. Besides simple introduction on design principle, structure system and analysis, key techniques including performance based design criteria, frame shear ratio, capacity check of mega column, human comfort criteria under wind induced vibration and TSD design were presented in details for reference of similar super tall building design.

  • The floor slabs of building structures are often subjected to the periodic force which is induced by vibrating machines or human activity(walking, jumping, running etc). These periodic forces cause excessive oscillation. In order to examine the dynamic characteristics of floor slabs, the dynamic characteristics test is accomplished. Generally, the Impact Hammer and Dynamic Exciter test is used to dynamic characteristics test. But the Impact Hammer test is not suitable to apply in building slabs. In this paper, It compared the performance of the Exciter and Impact Hammer test for dynamic characteristics analysis of floor slabs.

  • Gas pipelines in bridges, roads and subway construction sections can undergo abrupt stress and vibration changes. To protect human life from any gas leakage accidents induced by the abrupt stress and vibration, the gas pipeline system needs to be continuously monitored. The estimation method of pipeline stress using MEMS wireless tilt sensor has been developed and its validity has been evaluated using a lab test bench.

Analytical solution for free vibration of multi-span continuous anisotropic plates by the perturbation method

  • Accurately determining the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a structural floor is an essential step to assess the floor's human-induced vibration serviceability. In the theoretical analysis, the prestressed concrete floor can be idealized as a multi-span continuous anisotropic plate. This paper presents a new analytical approach to determine the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a multi-span continuous orthotropic plate. The suggested approach is based on the combined modal and perturbation method, which differs from other approaches as it decomposes the admissible functions defining the mode shapes by considering the intermodal coupling. The implementation of this technique is simple, requiring no tedious mathematical calculations. The perturbation solution is validated with the numerical results.

발파에 의한 지반진동 및 소음 저감을 위한 지연시차 조절에 관한 연구 (A Study on Delay Time Control for Lowering Grounding Vibration and Noise Induced by Blasting)

  • 발파에 의한 진동과 소음은 주변 지역에 대하여 인적 물적 피해를 일으킬 수 있는 대표적인 환경피해 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 지연시차를 7단계로 변화시키고 각 단계마다 3회씩 반복하여 총 21회의 발파를 수행하였으며, 총 50개의 측정값으로 환산거리에 의한 발파진동 추정식을 도출하였고, 진동속도 측정값과 주파수를 이용하여 Langefors 시차이론을 적용하였다. 지연시차가 8ms와 28ms일 경우 진동속도의 평균값은 각각 5.76cm/sec 및 5.75cm/sec로 비교적 낮은 값을 나타내었으며, 지연시차에 따라 주기적으로 높은 측정값과 낮은 측정값이 반복되어 간섭효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 진동속도와 주파수의 측정값으로 Langefors의 시차이론을 적용한 결과, 본 연구에서 발파진동을 저감할 수 있는 최적의 지연시차는 8ms와 24ms로 확인되었다.

Centrifugal Fan 송풍기의 진동.소음 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the Characteristics of a Centrifugal Fan Vibration and Noise)

  • 본 연구에서는 Fig.1에 보인 바와 같이 원심휀이 부착된 실내 에어콘을 대상 으로 하여 원심휀의 진동.소음 특성을 연구하였다. Fig.2에서 보인바와 같이 원심휀 은 전기 모터 축에 커플링 되어 있으며 원심휀의 회전으로 발생된 공기유동은 연결된 덕트 시스템(duct system)을 통해 외부로 방출 된다. 이와 같은 송풍시스템에서 발 생하는 진동.소음은 크게 구조물 진동에 의한 구조물진동소음과 공기유동 자체에서 발 생하는 공기유동소음으로 구별된다. 본 연구는 실험적 연구를 통하여 이들 진동. 소 음원의 주파수 특성과 전체 소음에의 기여도 등을 규명하였다.
