Customization using Anthropometric Data Deep Learning Model-Based Beauty Service System

  • As interest in beauty has increased, various studies have been conducted, and related companies have considered the anthropometric data handled between humans and interfaces as an important factor. However, owing to the nature of 3D human body scanners used to extract anthropometric data, it is difficult to accurately analyze a user's body shape until a service is provided because the user only scans and extracts data. To solve this problem, the body shape of several users was analyzed, and the collected anthropometric data were obtained using a 3D human body scanner. After processing the extracted data and the anthropometric data, a custom deep learning model was designed, the designed model was learned, and the user's body shape information was predicted to provide a service suitable for the body shape. Through this approach, it is expected that the user's body shape information can be predicted using a 3D human body scanner, based upon which a beauty service can be provide.

셀프서비스 키오스크에 대한 소비자의 저항 및 지속사용의도의 결정 요인 (Consumers' Resistance and Continued Use Intention of Self-service Kiosk)

  • Service providers have introduced interactive devices such as self-service kiosks to provide convenient and efficient services to consumers. Self-service kiosks are one of the most diverse technological forms of self-service technologies that provide control and freedom to consumers as well as reduce the frustration of line-ups. This study explores the predictors of consumer resistance and continued use intention with regard to self-service kiosks. It adopts three constructs on the following variables: perceived innovation characteristics, consumer characteristics, and gamification. An online self-administered survey was conducted, and 343 users of self-service kiosk services, aged between 20 and 59, were included in the analysis. The study used the SPSS 23.0 program to perform a descriptive analysis along with, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. First, convenience, controllability, and gamification negatively influenced consumer resistance to self-service kiosks. Second, human alienation and sociability positively influenced consumer resistance to self-service kiosks. Third, convenience and gamification positively influenced the continued use intention with regard to self-service kiosks. Last, the risk of functionality, human alienation, and sociability negatively influenced continued use intention with regard to self-service kiosks. The results contribute to the literature because few studies have examined what drives the resistance of users and continued use intention with regard to self-service kiosks. It also provides service providers and practitioners with insights and strategies on how to overcome consumer resistance.

병원 이용자의 의료서비스 만족도 조사 (Patient's Satisfaction with Medical Care Services in Hospital)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine factors influencing patient satisfaction with medical services in hospital, which is classified into environmental aspect, human services and procedural services. Based on the results of literature review, the study focused on effects of social-demographical factors on patient satisfaction. The environmental aspect of medical care services included medical equipment and facilities, hygiene, ventilation, heating and air-conditioning, waiting and resting space, ward space and parking facilities. Procedural service included registration process, bill payment, waiting time after registration, examination and prescription as well as appointment process. Human services consisted of physicians listening to stories of patients, examination duration, physicians' explanation and physicians' service. As for nurses, explanation about disease, examination procedure and results, kindness and nursing care were evaluated. Services provided by other staff members were also evaluated. Patient satisfaction, defined as individual attitude toward medical service as a whole, was measured using a questionnaire. A total of 700 in-or out-patients were surveyed in 6 hospitals with more than 300 beds in North Gyeongbuk Province. 1. The level of patient satisfaction varied with characteristics of patients. Male patients and those in their 30s had a low level of satisfaction. Dissatisfaction level was positively related to education level but negatively related to economic condition. 2. As for patient satisfaction with medical service providers and other employees in hospital, satisfaction level with physician's explanation about treatment was higher. But dissatisfaction levels with treatment duration and the lack of explanation about examination procedures were high, calling for improvement. Dissatisfaction level with nursing care was high, calling for training of nurses for better service. Given the low level of satisfaction with human services, hospital employees need to be trained to improve their service. 3. It Was found that administrative service was also a significant factor influencing patient satisfaction in addition to medical service. It is therefore important for hospitals to provide patients with prompt and convenient procedural service. 4. Environmental factors such as medical equipment and amenity facilities also affected patient satisfaction. Thus environmental condition, procedural service and human service are all important to improve medical service in hospital. In summary, procedural service was the most significant factor for patient satisfaction. The level of satisfaction in patients was also affected by human service and environmental condition. It is therefore necessary to take patient-oriented approach in providing medical service in an effort to improve patient satisfaction. The finding of a lower level of satisfaction with human service signifies the need for training of healthcare providers and other hospital employees for better services. The introduction of advanced management programs is also needed to improve procedures that patients go through in hospitals.

사회복지조직의 인적자원 및 재정자원 관리와 서비스 품질 간 관계에 대한 연구 (A Study of the Relationship between Human Resource Management & Financial Resource Management and Service Quality in Social Service Organizations)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지관에 초점을 두고 사회복지관의 조직 수준에서의 인적자원 및 재정자원 관리 체계와 프로그램 수준에서의 서비스 품질 간 관계에 대해 실증적 검증을 실행하였다. 2012년 사회복지시설 평가 자료를 활용하여 분석한 결과, 인적자원 관리 중 전문자격증 소지자 비율, 직원성과평가, 급여, 직원복지, 슈퍼비전, 직원 고충처리제도가 서비스 품질과 정적인 방향에서 통계적인 유의성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 재정자원 관리 중에서는 경상보조금 대비 정부자원금 비율, 회계 관리, 후원금품의 사용 및 관리가 서비스 품질과 정적인 방향에서 통계적인 유의성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 상대적인 영향력의 크기를 보면, 직원복지, 직원성과평가, 슈퍼비전, 직원 고충처리제도, 회계관리 등의 순이었다. 즉 사회복지관 인적자원 관리 관련 변수들이 서비스의 품질에 상대적으로 더 많은 관련성을 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 상대적으로 신뢰성이 높은 정부 평가 자료를 활용하여 서비스 품질에 대해 인적자원 및 재정자원 관리의 시각에서 통합적 연구모형을 구성하며 새롭고 흥미로운 연구결과를 제시해 보면서 관련 후속연구의 기반을 마련한다는 점에서 연구의 의미를 갖는다.

의료기관의 서비스 지향성, 종업원 직무만족, 고객지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (A Study of Service Orientation, Human Resource Satisfaction, Customer Orientation Effects on Performance in Hospital)

  • This paper is to find how does service orientation of organization and human resource job satisfaction affect its customer orientation, that is, its service attitude and behavior toward customer. Purpose of this study is also to measure the level of employees' customer orientation more systemic. Consequently, the correlation between service orientation and performance can be identified and more effective guideline for service quality management can be draw through this study. The findings of this paper are as followings; Firstly, it is found that reward system and CEO's vision toward service orientation affect employee's job satisfaction positively, It's analyzed on Gap analysis model of PZB. Secondly, in point of inner marketing, employee who is satisfied with his job shows higher customer orientation. Thirdly, strategy change of organization in response to environment change in hospital industry influences on performance positively.

Methodological Challenges of Empirical Studies on Government-Nonprofit Service Delivery: Toward a Dynamic Approach

  • Empirical studies have shown that government and human service nonprofit organizations have maintained active partnerships to deliver human services for the past several decades. However, the previous researches on resource dependent government-nonprofit service delivery have revealed serious methodological limitations to adequately demonstrate the dynamic relationship between both sectors over time. Since the dynamics underlying the government-nonprofit service delivery is a complex process, in which multiple factors dynamically interact over time, the assumptions of system dynamics can help improve these methodological drawbacks. This study aims to explore methodological issues and weaknesses observed in empirical studies on resource dependent government-nonprofit service delivery in the United States, and further attempts to provide insights on future research toward a dynamic approach, bringing the assumptions of system dynamics to the challenges of the previous researches.

신경제사회 중심사상으로서의 서비스철학 연구 (A Study on Service Philosophy for New Economy and Society)

  • 본 연구는 신경제사회 중심사상으로서 서비스철학 정립을 위해 수행되었다. 서비스경제시대를 이끌어갈 사상적 기반인 서비스철학은 우주와 인간의 본질원리를 반영하면서, 신경제사회를 발전시킬 수 있는 사상이어야 한다. 선행 연구들인 인류대표사상의 서비스철학성 연구와 신경제사회 및 서비스본질 연구를 토대로 서비스철학을 도출하였다. 좋은 사상은 우주의 원리와 부합해야하고 또 인류 대표사상의 정수와 부합해야 하므로, 우주의 근본원리와 인류 대표 사상의 핵심을 도출하여 반영하였다. 또한 중심사상은 신경제사회의 변화를 미래지향적으로 반영해야 하므로, 서비스의 본질과 신경제사회의 변화를 분석하였다. 현대물리학의 거시적 우주론과 미시적 양자론의 사회적 사상적 의의를 분석하였다. 동양과 서양 대표 사상들의 흐름을 분석하고, 서비스가 중심인 현대사회 관점에서 이들 사상의 시사점을 도출하였다. 제4차 산업혁명시대인 현대경제사회는 과학기술의 급속한 발전으로 인간의 역할이 크게 변화하고 있다. 산업과 일자리의 구조변화가 촉진되는 현 시대 상황을 분석하여 반영하였다. 현대물리학의 상보성원리가 고대 태극 사상과 부합하고 있으며, 현대 서양 사상이 동양 고대 사상과 상관성이 높은 것은 인류가 삶을 지속하려는 의지가 우주와 인간의 본질에 근거하고 있기 때문으로 분석되었다. 우주와 인간의 본질원리에 기반하여 서비스철학 구조를 정립하고, 서비스철학의 인간관과 역사관, 사회관, 경제관, 경영관을 도출하였다. 도출된 서비스철학의 구조를 제시하고, 향후 심화 연구를 위한 토론을 수행하였다. 서비스철학에 기반한 신경영학 정립 연구 등 각론 주제로 연구를 심화할 필요가 있다.

인류사회 발전 지혜로서의 서비스철학 (Service Philosophy as Wisdom for Human Society Development)

  • 본 연구는 서비스철학이 서비스시대 인류사회의 발전원리임을 입증하기 위해 수행되었다. 상호존중의 식물적 생태계가 서비스시대 인류사회 운영원리가 되어야함을 입증하려고 시도하였다. 고대부터 현대에 이르기까지 통시대적으로 서비스철학이 인류사회 발전 지혜임을 보여주려고 하였으며, 동양과 서양 등 모든 지구공간에서 서비스철학이 인류사회 발전 지혜였음을 입증하려고 시도하였다. 또한 지구상의 모든 공간과 인간의 모든 시간 위에서 명멸한 많은 국가와 개인들의 발전 지혜에도 서비스철학이 그 중심에 있었음을 입증하려고 시도하였다. 한편 서비스철학에 위배되는 운영을 한 많은 국가와 개인, 그리고 시간과 공간에서는 발전이 더디거나 쇠퇴가 빨랐음을 입증하려고 시도하였다. 국가들의 차이는 하드웨어가 아닌 소프트웨어에 있었음을 본 연구는 보여주었다. 더 구체적으로 정신과 문화 등 소프트웨어적인것의 중심에 서비스철학이 내재되어 있었던 국가들은 인류사회에 큰 기여를 한 것으로 분석되었다. 그리스 로마와 베네치아공화국, 네덜란드공화국, 곧이어 미국과 현대 대한민국 등의 사례가 이를 입증하고 있고, 소련 등이 이를 반증하고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 전자는 국가 운영 소프트웨어가 강한 사회였고, 후자는 하드웨어가 강한 사회였다고 할 수 있다. 시민들이 자율적으로 구성하고 운영해간 국가와 상층부 주도 운영 국가의 경우는 차이가 크다. 상층부 주도는 서비스철학에 기반하지 못하고 있기 때문에 축적되는 소프트웨어적 힘이 약해서 인류사회에 지혜 축적이 약했다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 그동안의 인류사회가 이기심이 주도하는 자기중심적 동물적 생태계의 사회였다면, 지금부터의 서비스시대 인류사회는 상호존중과 자기중심이 공존하는 식물적 생태계의 사회로 변화되어야 지속적인 발전이 가능하다고 할 수 있다. 과거 인류사회에서 서비스철학이 중심이 된 사회가 더 번영하고 더 큰 유산을 인류에게 남겼듯이, 앞으로의 서비스시대 인류사회는 서비스철학이 중심이 되는 식물적 생태계의 인류사회가 되어야 함을 제안하였다. 자기 중심 소아와 공동체 중심 대아가 변증법적인 과정을 통해 팽팽한 균형을 이루는 서비스철학 기반 사회가 인류사회의 발전 지혜임을 제시하였다. 향후 이에 관련되는 심층적인 추가 연구들이 필요하다.

치과 의료기관의 서비스스케이프와 인적서비스품질이 환자의 내적반응 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Servicescape and Human Service Quality on Patients' Internal Responses and Their Behavioral Intention in Dental Care Organizations)

  • This study was designed to analyze the effect of servicescape and human service quality on patients' internal response and their behavioral intention in dental care organizations. Self-administered survey questionnaires with structured instruments were developed, and a total of 226 responses were used for statistical analyses using SPSS Windows version 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 program. Major findings of the study are as follows. First, among other servicescape components, air condition environment was found to have a positive effect on patients' cognitive and physiological responses, while signals and symbols had a positive effect on cognitive and emotional responses. Second, the competence, among other factors of the human service quality, had positive influence on cognitive and emotional responses, while customer understanding affected positively on emotional response. Third, none of the servicescape components showed a direct effect on patients' behavioral intention, but their influence was mediated by internal responses. However, customer understanding, among other human service quality factors, had a direct effect on patients' behavioral intention. Fourth, emotional response, among other internal response factors, proved to have positive influence on behavioral intention. Results from this study suggest that dental care service providers can increase their competitiveness and customer satisfaction by understanding and improving the most important areas of servicescape and human service quality.

호텔 서비스 자원에 따른 운영역량과 성과의 차이에 관한 연구 (Service Resource, Capability and Performance: an Exploratory Study on Hotel Industry)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper are to propose a strategic map for hotel industry through analyzing the relationship between service resource, operational capabilities, and performance. Methods: A phone survey was conducted among Korean hotels, and 102 data sets were collected. Measurement items are assessed using both cognitive and objective scales. Results: As results, 'superior group', which is superior in both physical resources and human resources, is excellent in all capabilities and also in room occupancy rate. On the other hands, 'inferior group', which is inferior in both physical resources and human resources, shows lower achievements is in most areas except speed. In addition, physical superior group is better than human superior group in most capabilities except speed, but human superior group shows better results than physical superior group in both room occupancy rate and customer satisfaction. Conclusions: Through the empirical analysis, the conclusions attained are as follows; First, human resources affect customer satisfaction more directly that physical resources. Second, the balancing between physical resources and human resources has an importance to improve operational capabilities.
