한국과 일본의 감각통합 교육 프로그램의 변화 (The Change of Sensory Integration Educational Program in Korea and Japan)

  • Six members of Korean association of sensory integration(KASI) participated the treatment course named C-course of japanese association for the study of sensory integrative dysfunction(JASSID) during Jul. 27$\sim$Aug. 3, 2005. After the course, we investigated the education program of Japan and Korea and how it had been changed and developed. Through investigating JASSID with history for 23 years and KASI with history for 8 years, we find out that the common contents of sensory integration exist and the diversities of their own cultural and social contexts also exist. In korea, KASI would develop our own educational program and research based on having the close relationship with Japan and other former country developed education of sensory integration.

실험교과목에 포함된 요소설계의 효과적인 운영에 대한 연구 (A Study on Effective Management of Design Included in An Experimental Course)

  • 본 논문은 한경대학교 정보제어공학심화과정 3학년에 포함된 2학점(3시간) 실험교과목 "기초전자회로설계및실험"과 "응용전자회로설계및실험"에 포함된 1학점(1시간) 요소설계의 운영에 대해서 소개한다. 1학점(2시간)의 실험과 병행하여 1학점(1시간) 요소설계을 공학인증기준에 부합하도록 운영하는 절차, 운영결과 및 개선점을 소개한다. 학생들은 설계교과목 이수체계도에 따라서 체계적으로 설계교과목을 이수해야 효과적인 설계법을 배울 수 있다.

대학생의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 독서지도 과목 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of the Reading Guidance Course for Strengthening Core Competencies among College Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들이 취업 후 조직 내 핵심인재로 성장하기 위하여 갖추어야 할 핵심역량과 하위요소를 파악하기 위하여 국내외 5개 기관에서 개발된 대학생 핵심역량 모형 사례와 선행연구를 분석한 후 대학생들이 갖추어야 할 핵심역량의 9개 영역을 제시하였다. 9개 영역은 논리적 사고력, 문제해결력, 정보 기술 활용능력, 의사소통능력, 협력관계 형성능력, 글로벌 역량, 자기관리능력, 가치관 및 태도, 리더십 영역이다. 그리고 9개 핵심역량을 습득하기 위하여 핵심역량 강화를 위한 독서지도 과목을 대학 교양과목으로 개발하여 학생들을 대상으로 1학기 동안 수업을 실시한 후 수업 내용과 학습효과 등에 대한 질적 분석을 실시하였다. 질적 분석 결과에 대한 일반적인 결론과 추후연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 제7차 교육과정의 고등학교 지구과학Ⅰ,Ⅱ 교육과정의 내용 체제와 과학관의 전시내용을 비교 분석하여 과학관이 교육과정의 성격과 목표를 얼마나 잘 반영하고 있는가를 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정 상의 지구과학 내용이 전시되어 있는 영역이 50% 이하이고 단원별로 편중되어 있다. 둘째, 과학관의 지구과학 교육과정 반영 정도는 보통이다.(5점만점의 2.8점) 셋째, 유의수준 0.05하에서 과학관별 전시내용 평균점수는 차이가 있고, 단원별로는 차이가 없다.

K-MOOC 참여자의 학습효과 분석 연구 (A Study on the Learning Effectiveness Analysis of K-MOOC Learners)

  • This study analyzed the learning effect on K-MOOC. It was confirmed how the ease and interaction of K-MOOC affects learning satisfaction and Learning Persistence. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the interaction and ease of K-MOOC learners had a positive effect on learning satisfaction. Second, it was found that the ease and interaction of K-MOOC learners had a positive effect on the Learning Persistence. Third, the satisfaction and willingness of learners with prior course experience of K-MOOC learners were high, and there was a significant difference according to the course experience. This study is meaningful in that the effect of actual learning activities was verified for K-MOOC learners. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to conduct a comparative study on the K-MOOC activation plan and the case of using K-MOOC at each university.

OSS 활용 고려사항과 검증 방법 (OSS (Open Source Software) Usage Considerations and Verification Method)

  • In this paper, we focus on the process of using open source software (OSS) and factors that should be considered when using project-based OSS. We also elaborate on how to avoid using OSS licenses in an OSS-based technology development process, why dual OSS licenses and security threats should be avoided, and the method of notification after use. In addition, the OSS license verification method and environment are described in the course of project development. In the verification method, the OSS license used for technology development in the course of project execution is validated in advance by the person who decides whether or not to use the OSS, and then additional verification using the tool after technology development. It is expected that this paper will be helpful for establishing the OSS usage consideration and the license verification procedure, and environment in the future.

Comparative Study of Marine Engineering Curriculum Between MMU and PMMA

  • This paper compares the marine engineering courses of two maritime institutions: Mokpo National Maritime University of Korea in the East Asia region and Philippine Merchant Marine Academy in the Southeast Asia region. It shows examines educational marine engineering programs, along with the different divisions and courses at each college. It demonstrates a divergence in methodologies and course offerings to cultivate competitive graduates. The comparative assessment completed is intended to offer broader knowledge on how each institution tackles the requirements of the STCW, and to meet the present and future demands of the maritime industry. Different course offerings are compared along with the units and hours allocated to each subject, and the differences in marine engineering academic and training requirements to graduate. Students must satisfactorily earn 150 units to complete their choice of major. Statistical procedures were used in this assessment and analysis from Excel programs.

뉴턴의 이항정리에 대한 수학사의 교수법적 고찰 (The Pedagogical Analysis of the History of Mathematics on Newton's Binomial Theorem)

  • 본 연구는 무한급수와 멱급수의 발생 배경과 발달 과정의 인식론적 토대가 되었던 뉴턴의 이항정리(binomial theorem)의 개념을 살펴보고, 그 발달 과정에서 얻어진 제곱근의 근삿값 구하는 방법, 뉴턴의 역유율법을 이용한 정적분 구하는 방법, 그리고 메르카토어 급수와 그레고리 급수의 발견 과정을 알아보고자 한다. 이 과정을 통하여 뉴턴의 이항정리가 가지는 수학사의 교수법적 논의를 제시하고자 한다.

The Influence of Machine Translators on the English Writing of Pre-service English Teachers

  • This study investigated how pre-service English teachers perceive the effects of machine teaching on their English writing competence. 35 Korean students who are majoring in English education participated in this study. The participants used machine translators for one of the required courses related to English composition. A survey and focus group interview were conducted at the end of the course. They were asked to answer to what degree they perceive the effects of machine translators on their writing in terms of lexical, sentential, and discourse levels. Furthermore, their perspectives on the effects of machine translation on English teaching including limitations of machine translators, were interviewed in more detail. The results show that the participants perceive machine translators quite positively in terms of improving their writing competence, but they also point out some critical limitations of machine translators. These findings have some pedagogical implications for English writing course instructors, English teacher educators, and program developers.

Collaboration in a Web-Based Learning Environment: Opportunities and Challenges

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how computer conferencing might facilitate collaborative learning for students to engage in meaningful discussion. The participants in this study consisted of the instructor and the students in a graduate level course. Different sources of evidence were used to triangulate the data: in-depth interviews, content analysis of transcripts of discussion, and other archival data including course syllabus, presentation materials, and lecture notes. Participants perceived web-based learning as collaborative process, providing opportunities to share the idea, respect and evaluate different perspectives, and co-construct new insights. Analysis of the data revealed several challenges related collaboration in a web-based learning environment: absence of a sense of community, technical problems, adaptability to different types of learner, and managing the discussion. The data also indicated that a variety of strategies were used to facilitate learning: building a sense of community, technical support, developing instructional methodologies, class size, and design of the content.
