The purposes of this study were to determine the actual state of the indoor air quality by TVOC concentration and residents' responses and to analyze the influencing factors of IAQ in newly built university dormitory. The field measurements on the levels of TVOC and HCHO were carried out three times at an interval of 4 weeks in 3 rooms of a dormitory. The questionnaire survey on the residents that inquired into the lifestyle, the consciousness related to IAQ, and the responses of SHS was fulfilled. According to the results, the level of TVOC was approximately $0.14{\sim}18.5ppm$ and HCHO was $0.23{\sim}6.89ppm$ during 3 month since construction completion, which are seriously in excess of standard level, and seemed to be on the decrease as time goes by. The factors influencing the differences of the levels of TVOC or HCHO were the amount of ventilation including infiltration, heating temperature, relative humidity, or the use of living things including chemical. However, the residents rarely felt the responses of SHS and did not be conscious of the importance of ventilation.

This study aims to find out about the traditional life and consciousness of the Yi dynasty used its residence as the place where rites of passage were heid. This study is tuying to classify the rites of passage according to the procedures by which those rituals are being held and to analyze them based upon the space where rituals take place. The results of research and analysis are as follows : 1. The most frequently used area in the house as a variety of ceremonies were held includes SARANGBANG and DAECHUNG belonging to SARANGCHE and ANBANG and DAECHUNG that belong to ANCHE. So naturally these areas are located in the main space of the house. 2. ANMADANG as well as SARANGMADANG was used as the main walkway in the house and as the main place for the ceremonies such as marriage and funenal. MADANG space in the house played a semi-indoor-space fole andperformed the functions which limited indoor space couldu's carry out when ceremonies took place. 3. It seems that SADANG had net been utilized in the daily routine but located within the residence due to the ritualism.
The special characters of traditional architecture has been formed suitably correspond with the purpose of usage and function, which was influenced with various environmental factors such as natural, social, physical, cultural and thoughtful. There was some differences in building placement and space composition according to the regional character such as climate, customs, and a gap of convention (long-established custom) and one's social position system and custom character of family. However, the essential characteristic of traditional architecture are nicely contain the era's architectural character. But these characters are developed or extinct according to the environmental factors. This paper is looking for the elements that formed social cultural element and background architect's thought. And, with the historical background, there are looking for Occupation. A traditional architecture had been formed correspond with the purpose of usage and function, which was influenced with physical nature environment elements such as regional character, climate, customs and social cultural environment elements such as government, economy, society, culture and thoughtful elements.

Condominium management ask for planning ability and special knowledge in order to solve the troubles of a condominium. But not all HOA have that ability or knowledge, so administration support to condominium management came to be given to HOA. In this study, we divided the administration policies on condominium management as follows;$\circled1$instruction about an advertisement and a contract$\circled2$instruction about management$\circled3$instruction about maintenance $\circled4$ instruction by the local government $\circled5$ legislation about condominium management. The condominium management policy has been almost programmed by the state, such as legal amendments to laws and advises by administrative inspection. But these condominium management policies by the state have limitations to support HOA appropriately, so correspondence of the local government is called for, On the other hand, in the local governments, grasp basic contents for execution to the condominium management policy, an information of offering and consultation has been started. And system that suits the situation and the characteristic of each district was provided. However it could not say that we grasp the tendency of the condominium management policies wholly of the local governments, so it remains as a subject because it is not long since condominium management policies of the local government started, and we picked up only metropolis in this study. In the future, it is necessary to search on the consciousness of a resident and the HOA about the condominium management policy, and make out the data which can be reflected in policy deployment in the local governments from now on. * HOA ‥‥ Home Owners Association

The oh purpose of this study is to provide a basic study for a desirable bathroom planning of the 30s pyung apartments. This study explores the change of the bathroom planning and analyzes the bathroom plans of the existing apartments. The data are 2053 case of the bathroom plan of the 30s pyung apartments constructed in Seoul and the new town between 1971-2004. In this stud, a settlement process and trend of the two bathroom plan in the 30s pyung apartments are examined. The findings were as follows: 1) The introduction of the two bathroom from 1970 to 1980. 2) The introduction of the two bathroom from 1990 to 2000. For the better planning of the bathroom, factors like family size, life cycle, and manner of bathroom use should be analyzed in the future studies. The analysis of the dweller's consciousness, satisfaction, and the demands on the bathroom in 30s pyung apartments, and to give useful information on the bathroom of 30s pyung apartments.

This study has focused on the transfer of infants and Toddlers-protecting responsibilities from families to infants and Toddlers education agencies due to an increase of a double-income family and nuclear family. It is because there is insufficient safe play space from the moment when infants and Toddlers return from infants and Toddlers education agencies to home due to a high crowding of housing and increase of vehicle, and there can be difficulties to take responsibilities of infants and Toddlers safety with a mere recognition and effort of parent. Thus, to suggest a safety education through mutual contact between the communities and agencies supporting parent role in a level of social welfare, its potential has been identified through a frequency analysis on 60 participants of experimental group who have trained a safety education and 60 participants of control group who have not trained a safety education. As a result of frequency analysis, the increase in safety condition in Korea, safety and development of infants and Toddlers, safety of play materials, and safety knowledge on general part of facility safety has detected and the practice of safety and safety consciousness has also identified to be more effective. The results of this study has shown a potential to verify its efficacy if it is verified through an elaborative model of safety education based on parents of young infants and Toddlers family.
This study was started to study the buffer zone of Daejeon metropolitan city in order to study the policy and environment for the suitability evaluation of the use of green buffer zone. The target of the study was selected as the buffer zone of western buffer, which is frequently used in the Daejeon Metropolitan City, and a preliminary index was selected to evaluate the suitability of the green buffer zone. AHP analysis was conducted to increase the reliability of the preliminary indicators and the weight was analyzed by questionnaires to experts and practitioners. In addition, based on the existing statistical data, we rebuilt the green buffer zone and investigated the current condition, and compared and analyzed the green buffer zone and the places where they did not. The results are as follow. First, unlike the statute interpretation that construction can not be done in buffered green spaces, green buffer zones have been utilized in various ways. However, the lack of advanced citizen consciousness of the residents, the responsibility of the responsible person, and the problem of the management office alone are causing problems. Second, according to the results of AHP questionnaire analysis, functional and stability among the appropriateness indexes of green buffer zone utilization were evaluated highly. Park accessibility and utilization potential also weighed somewhat, and it was judged that the epochal trend was more important in the use of green buffer zones. Third, analysis of the status of Western green buffer zones in Daejeon showed that the utilization rate was more than half. This suggests the necessity of judging the appropriateness of the application of the green buffer zone effectively due to the change of the perception of the green buffer zone of the residents. Fourth, as a result of comparing and analyzing the site where the site is used and the site where it is not, it is found that it is used within a range that does not greatly affect each index. However, as the stability has decreased, we have decided that the utilization method is most damaging to the green zone, and we should strive to improve the stability in future. Finally, the analysis of a red clay road and a red clay road sites decreased from Class I of stability to Grade II. However, the fall figure showed a difference between the 13 % drop rate of the target location and the 5% decline rate of utilization. The difference was analyzed as the difference of width of a red clay road. This can be regarded as one of the ways of damaging the green zone to the minimum extent, which is a great advantage in selecting the future utilization plan.

Public policies in regard to developing reading culture programs and the contents, and in running public libraries have been used to overcome existing social issues such as regional self-centeredness and cultural lagging. It means that public libraries are playing an important role to encourage communications within local communities. The purpose of this research is therefore to analyze the concept of local community, and develop reading culture and contents to reinforce the concept. This research also targeted to analyze the required contents in reading culture. Through the case study of "G" city, the research analyzed their citizenship and sense of local community and the requests. As a result, the requited subjects were for economics, unemployment, poverty, aging, and housing order. For the subjects of environment were environment pollution and energy order. For the subjects of human rights, disabilities, and multi-cultural were requested. For the subject of education, school violence, tutoring, and truly teaching were requested. Based on the requirements, 221 items of reading lists, DVD clips, and abstracts are developed as well as 4 programs of reading culture.

Urban renovation projects (reconstruction and redevelopment) have a longer licensing period than general housing projects, and many consultations with the licensing authorities require expertise. Most of the members of the union do not have basic knowledge of the maintenance business, so they have a lot of authority to promote smooth business Is entrusted to the union leader. However, contrary to the original purpose entrusted by the members, it is easy to find a case where the business is suspended because the union leader is exposed to corruption for the private interests of the union, and the members' disputes could not be resolved. In order to overcome this risk, the problem of the maintenance project was found through a questionnaire survey composed of practical experts, and a solution was presented through the KCSI evaluation model. This study mentioned the necessity of a responsible CM that can make independent business decisions without interference from the union, rather than a management-type CM limited to the cooperative's work assistance. In order to promote the construction industry's national role, it was necessary to revitalize responsible CM, so six practical alternatives were proposed.

Present family pattern of Korean society has been changed into nuclear family pattern based on the married couple from traditional expanded family pattern. As the entire social consciousness has been changed into private disposition, the number of independent household for 1 person has increases. Also, as the delivery age of first child became late according to the elongation of average period for the national education, the increment of average age for the first marriage and women's participation in the society, the family pattern of married couple lasts longer than used to be. Like this, considering the family formed period comprised from a household for 1 person to a household for 1married couple and senescence increase, as any response is inevitable for the requirement of residential space where 1~2 dwellers' life can be accepted economic and functionally within smaller scaled space, development and research on a plan system(flexible-typed plan) increasing the degree of freedom is required in developing plan of unit household. In the study for this, considering the change of population and social structure, I suggest the method in developing economic design responding to the differentiation, designing the change of support-system and infill-system based on the systemic comprehension about the residing environment in the family formation period and the research for main life pattern and residing environment in the family formation period in the present city life. I will set (family) composing system, develop basic and mixing typed standard model and establish the stage of applied development for the development of economic design.
