The internet of things(: IoT) which could produce new information as well as service through connecting small devices with internet interface becomes reality and could be utilized in home, office and plant. Especially the IoT can provide our home for safety, security, convenience, and power saving since all devices form a small internet. This paper proposes an IoT prototype for home with Raspberry Pi which has various sensors and monitors environment. This Raspberry Pi sensor node is small and inexpensive but can provide powerful service. The implemented node goes beyond simple role of sensor node and features a kind of sensor web node which performs various functions to outer network. So the proposed IoT prototype can provide flexibility as well as extensibility since it does not need expensive server.

In this study, a group of home bus system(HBS) is used to manage difference types of household appliances or many household appliance of the same type. The existing central controller is analyzed, and an independent control system is built to devise new methods to design the PC HBS. The newly designed system is installed in an air-conditioned building; the system can be monitored and controlled from a control room or from an office. By using the system, we can efficiently manage future energy needs and control large-scale integrated electronics and home automation system to an individual manage to build large is expected to contribute.

Corna Virus is being widely spreaded across the world and accelerating working environments to home-based telecommuting environments rapidly. Many companies, however, are afraid of decrease in productivities due to insufficient technology readiness by new technology environments. Therefore, finding out the influencing factors which improve the productivities in home-based telecommuting environments is a very important research issue. This study suggests several influencing factors such as technology readiness, technostress, and control behavior and a research model by literature review. To verify the model a total of 204 questionnaires are collected from office workers who are currently utilizing home-based telecommuting. The statistical analysis show that technostress influences negatively to productivities. In addition, moderating effect analysis show that control behavior affects negatively and technostress positively to alleviate the technostress. The result is expected to provide a theocratical framework for further related research and practical guidelines for improving productivities in home-based telecommuting environments.

TCP typically offers reasonable end-to-end performance to users regardless of the bandwidth and error characteristics of particular network technology, The robustness of TCP has contributed to its success in the internet environment. The role of communications is already well established in the office environment. With the advent of cheap, affordable broadband communications and the increasing complexity of consumer goods, it seems natural to extend the network into homes. In-home networking means a high-speed communication among the digital appliances within a home. Introduction of application over high-speed home network using TCP/IP protocol is increasing. The integrated environment of internet and home network is demanding as well. We have validated TCP model over high speed home network environment, investigated the throughput behavior of TCP over IEEE 1399 home networks, and evaluated a potential solution for high performance of TCP over IEEE 139t home networks. The simulation model has produced several interesting results in the performance of TCP over IEEE 1394 home network.

This study aimed to analyze the correlation between working from home and sleep disorders among domestic workers using data from the 5th Working Environment Survey in 2017. Out of the total 30,108 wage workers, 818 employees work from home and 4,090 work in an office. A random sample of 1:5 pairs, considering gender and occupational group, was selected from these employees as the study subjects. The analysis included personal characteristics, occupational characteristics, work-from-home arrangements, and sleep disorders. Age, education, employment status, years in the workforce, weekly working hours, work-life balance, self-perceived health, depression, and anxiety were all adjusted as potential confounding variables. Conditional logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between working from home (independent variable) and sleep disorder (dependent variable). This analysis aimed to analyze the correlation between working from home and sleep disorder. The analysis revealed that working from home was associated with sleep onset latency disorder OR=3.23 (95% CI=2.67~3.91), sleep maintenance disorder OR=3.67 (95% CI=3.02~4.45), and non-restorative sleep OR=3.01 (95% CI=2.46~3.67), which showed a statistically significant relationship with all three types of sleep disorders. Factors influencing the correlation between working from home and sleep disorders included work-life balance, social isolation, and anxiety.

Through the investigation and analysis for awareness about Tooth Bleaching treatment for general adults, to rethink the real ideas of Tooth Bleaching which adults has already had and to find the method for generalized Tooth Bleaching, this study made a survey about General Awareness and Common sense for Tooth Bleaching and Oral Health Knowledge and Generalization Methods for 570adult citizen in Busan from 1th August to 10th September. The obtained results were as follows 1. Tooth Shade self contentment was found low, self-discontent respondents were 73.5% and self-content respondents were 26.5%. 2. Tooth Bleaching recognition was found high, as for the recognition period, between 2 and 5 years is 65.5% and as for the recognition route, 33.9% were through broadcast medium. 3. General knowledge for Tooth Bleaching was found low as 2.34(1.12) of 5 score and it is similar to ages and occupations(pE0.001, pE0.05). 4. Tooth Bleaching treatment method appears Home Bleaching and In-Office bleaching was 73.5% and 26.5% respectively. The other side medical institution chosen for Tooth Bleaching treatment appears dental hospital or dental clinic and Home bleaching was 75.6% and 12.1% respectively. 5. To generalize the Tooth Bleaching Care, recommendations of oral health care team and oral health education and development of information data also need to be performed.

Indoor and outdoor nitrogen dioxide (NO$_2$) concentrations were measured and compared with measurements of personal exposures of 95 persons in Seoul, Korea and 57 persons in Brisbane, Australia, respectively. Time activity diary was used to determine the impact on NO$_2$ exposure assessment and microenvironmental model to estimate the personal NO$_2$ exposure. Most people both Seoul and Brisbane spent their times more than 90% of indoor and more than 50% in home, respectively. Personal NO$_2$ exposures were significantly associated with indoor NO$_2$ levels with Pearson coefficient of 0.70 (p＜0.01) and outdoor NO$_2$ levels with Pearson coefficient of 0.66 (p＜0.01) in Seoul and of 0.51 (p＜0.01) and of 0.33 (p＜0.05) in Brisbane, respectively. Using microenvironmental model by time weighted average model, personal NO$_2$ exposures were estimated with NO$_2$ measurements in indoor home, indoor office and outdoor home. Estimated NO$_2$ measurements were significantly correlated with measured personal exposures (r = 0.69, p＜0.001) in Seoul and in Brisbane (r = 0.66, p＜0.001), respectively. Difference between measured and estimated NO$_2$ exposures by multiple regression analysis was explained that NO$_2$ levels in near workplace and other outdoors in Seoul (p = 0.023), and in transportation in Brisbane (p = 0.019) affected the personal NO$_2$ exposures.

Recently the cyber home learning system is executed throughout the country as a part of educational policies to reduce expenditure on private education and to promote educational welfare for alienated classes. Thus, in order to examine the effectiveness of the cyber home learning system, we conducted an online questionnaire survey with elementary and secondary students, cyber teachers under the OO Office of Education. According to the results, overall satisfaction with the cyber home learning system and its effectiveness were found high. In addition, what were required for more effective the cyber home learning system were expanding the execution of unit school learning, strengthening teacher training, increasing incentives for cyber teachers, intensifying campaigns for the cyber home learning system, providing various types of information and contents of education, and activating learning activities such as community, message and chatting. This study is expected to be a steppingstone to the settlement of more effective the cyber home learning system.

Ubiquitous home refers not only to home but also to logical space, including a wide range of out-home personal devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, laptops, car navigators, and office PCs. There are certain connection barriers among the devices, such as the dynamic IP address, NAT. In a home network, various devices coexist in heterogeneous networks, such as IP, IEEE1394, PLC, Bluetooth, ZigBee, UWB, and IrDA, all of which lack interoperability due to their different physical transmission characteristics and protocols. In ubiquitous home where an unrestricted collaboration of the devices is essential to offer services that meet the users' requirements, free interoperability among the devices must be guaranteed. This paper proposes a networking model for interoperability of the heterogeneous devices in a ubiquitous home based on a virtual overlay network which hides the complicated physical network configurations and heterogeneity of the service protocols.

Purpose - The goal of this study is to extensively grasp the latest status of domestic home shopping and to propose useful information on the direction of development for the somewhat stagnant this market. This study investigates the relationship between purchasing media and demographic factors such as average monthly income, age and occupation. Categories of purchasing media under consideration are cell phones, tablet PCs, PCs/notebooks, phone calls and TV directly. Research design, data, and methodology -The survey was conducted in 2021 on a total of 4,537 integrated panel households including 3,510 households and 191,027 newly constructed in 2019 and about 10,800 household members aged 6 years or older in the household. The independence test and correspondence analysis as statistical tools are exploited to detect the relationship between the underlying factors. Result - It can be demonstrated that all demographic variables considered are related to the purchase media of home shopping. In particular, cell phones among purchasing media are closely associated with 2 million - 5 million won, teenagers, 20s, 40s, professionals, office workers, managers and soldiers. Conclusion - It is necessary to establish a new management strategy and related policies in order to overcome the current stagnation and ensure the continued growth of this industry.
