이 연구는 이전 연구들을 중심으로 하여 가정교육에 있어서 지역사회 연계 체험학습과 관련된 기초적인 정보를 제공하고, 또한 인지적 관심을 향상시키는 것에 목적을 둔다. 가정교육 전문가들은 개인과 가족들과 관련된 지역사회의 요구를 인지하고 있음에도 불구하고, 가정과 교육과 관련된 지역사회 연계 체험학습에 관한 연구나 교수학습 방법에 대해서는 거의 언급하지 않았다. 이 연구는 다음과 같은 세 가지의 연구문제를 가지고 이전연구들을 분석하여 그 답을 얻고자 노력하였다. 첫째, 지역사회 연계 체험학습의 교육적 의미는 무엇인가? 둘째, 가정과 교육에서 지역사회 연계된 체험학습을 어떻게 개념화할 것인가? 세 번째, 지역사회 연계 체험학습을 가정과 교육에 어떻게 적용시킬 수 있을 것인가? 더불어 이 연구는 지역사회 연계 체험학습을 가정과 교육에 적용하기 위한 구체적인 전략들과 향후 가정교육 연구와 실천을 위한 제언들을 함께 제시하고 있다.

This study was to examine the contents of sexuality education in the 6th Home Economics 1 and in the 7th Technology.Home Economics 1 of Middle school curriculum by comparing those two text books. The result of the study was that: 1) the 7th TechnologyㆍHome Economics 1 has more sexuality education contents than in the 6th; 2) the 7th TechnologyㆍHome Economics 1 used much more vivid and realistic pictures to catch students' attention and bring educational effect; 3) the 7th Technology \ulcornerHome Economics 1 included more detailed information for the young students such as pregnancy, birth control, masturbation, artificial abortion, and prevention of sexual violence than the 6th; 4) although the 7th TechnologyㆍHome Economics 1 showed more developed contents for the sexuality education, it had still only theory based information that lost students' attention on this important issue.

본 논문의 목적은 고교학점제 연구학교 운영사례를 통해 가정과 교육공동체에서 고교학점제를 준비하기 위한 방안을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2019년 고교학점제 연구학교를 운영한 강원도 지역 H 고등학교의 운영 과정을 5개월간 모니터링 하고, 학생, 학부모, 교사를 대상으로 설문조사와 면담을 실시하여 교육과정 운영 내용을 파악하였다. H 고등학교의 고교학점제 운영사례를 바탕으로 가정과 교육공동체의 준비 방안을 제안하면 다음과 같다. 가정과 교사들은 학생들에게 매력적이고 의미 있는 가정 수업을 제공할 수 있도록 수업과 평가를 개선하고, 온라인 공동교육과정을 포함하여 가정교과 영역의 다양한 선택과목을 개설하는데 적극적인 노력을 기울여야 한다. 가정과 교사 공동체 및 관련 학회는 지역의 가정교과 연구회를 하나로 연결하는 공고한 네트워크를 구축하여 교육과정 운영과 관련된 정보를 공유하고 수업 연구 결과를 확산하는 채널로 삼을 필요가 있다. 가정교과 교원양성기관은 변화하는 교원양성정책에 발맞추어 예비교사가 현장에서 다교과를 지도할 수 있는 역량을 기르도록 교육과정을 혁신하고, 현장교사 재교육을 위한 질 높은 온/오프라인 프로그램을 개발하여 제공해야 한다.

1989년에 창립된 이래, 한국가정과교육학회는 학술대회, 학술지 및 다양한 활동들을 통하여 이 분야의 주요 학술단체로서의 역할을 수행해 왔다. 사회적 환경 및 교육과정에서의 변화로 인하여 가정과교육이 맞게 된 다양한 도전과 문제들에 대응하기 위하여 학회는 회원들을 조직화하고 학술공동체를 이끄는 노력을 해 왔다. 이 연구는 지난 20여 년간의 한국가정과교육학회의 활동을 검토해 봄으로써 학회가 이루어 온 성과들을 정리하였다. 특히 가정과교육을 둘러싸고 있는 환경적 변화에 대하여 분석한 내용과, 지금까지의 학술대회 및 특별활동, 학술지를 분석한 결과를 제시하였다. 또한 이를 통하여 학회가 주도적 역할을 계속 수행하기 위하여 앞으로 관심을 기울이고 해결해야 할 과제들을 제시하고 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 저출산 사회에서 가정교과내용, 지역사회와 연계활동, 정책참여와 지지활동의 측면에서 가정과교육의 역할과 나아갈 방향을 모색하는 데 있었다. 2007 개정 교육과정에 반영된 저출산 관련 내용을 살펴본 결과, 가정교과에서는 8학년, 9학년, 10학년에서 학년별 연계성을 가지고 체계적으로 내용을 구성하여 미래에 가정을 꾸릴 학생들에게 긍정적인 가족관과 자녀관을 가질 수 있도록 하였다. 반면 사회교과에서는 저출산 고령화 현상의 원인과 해결방안을 살펴보는 것으로 한정되어 있고, 과학교과에서는 임신과 출산의 과정을 과학적 지식으로 다루고, 도덕교과에서는 저출산과 직접적으로 관련되는 내용을 거의 다루고 있지 않았다. 즉, 가정교과가 저출산을 다루는 주 교과로서의 역할과 책임이 있다. 중등학교와 지역사회, 대학과 지역사회를 연계한 교육과정의 개발, 동아리 활동, 구체적인 수업 방법을 개발하여 청소년들이 지역사회의 맥락에서 다양한 방법으로 인구문제와 관련한 활동을 할 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 또한 가정학 전문가의 적극적인 정책참여와 지지활동은 개인, 가족, 사회, 국가정책에 기여하며, 교과의 역랑을 발휘하여 저출산과 관련한 인구문제를 해결하는 교과로 거듭날 수 있다. 가정과교육의 나아갈 방향으로 저출산 극복을 위해 창의적 체험활동의 동아리 활동, 지역사회 봉사활동, 범교과 활동을 지원할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램의 개발에 가정과 교사가 적극적으로 참여하고, 지역사회에서 가족 아동 육아 저출산 고령화와 관련한 인구문제에 전문적인 지식을 갖춘 가정과 교사로서 평생교육의 강사요원으로 활동하며, 저출산 극복을 위한 적극적인 정책참여와 지지활동에 참여할 것이 제안되었다. 이를 통하여 자신의 삶과 지역사회, 국가의 안녕을 위한 변화의 주체를 육성하는 교과로 위상을 높일 수 있다.

This study is used to understand the characteristics of home economics teachers that could to help develop personal development in home economics teacher and home economics education. The questionnaire survey was conducted on 150 home economics teachers who belong to either the home economics teachers' study association or Korean home economics education essociation. The survey was processed with frequency analysis, standard deviations, factor analysis, independent sample t-test, and reliability analysis using SPSS 12.0 depending on the contents of the research. The study results are as follows. First, for home economics teachers' conscious teaching, they build their own identities as experts, and have a vocation and sense of duty for their job. The culture of research and investigation community to study education and to maintain collaborative relationships with teachers of home economics teachers' associations has evolved. Second, home economics teachers have the ability to analyze and manage students' demands in order to perform teaching activities, and understand individual student characteristics. They understand new study trends and curriculum, develop sources for class, use appropriate teaching and learning theories, and create students' reflective activities. In addition, they grow their learning ability as specialist and study in self-oriented ways.

The purposes of this study were to measure the levels of environmental consciousness. environmental knowledge, and environmental education performance and to find the influences of related variables on environmental education performance in Home Economics teachers. The researchers used a questionnaire consisting of three parts such as environmental consciousness. knowledge and education for 153 Home Economics teachers o secondary schools in Gwang-ju. The results are as follows: The level of environmental consciousness of the Home Economic teachers was high, but that of their environmental knowledge and the performance of environmental education were low. The teachers with more educational experience and married teachers showed higher level of environmental consciousness. Unmarried teachers showed higher level of environmental knowledge. The teachers with more age and educational experience showed higher level of environmental education performance. The teachers with more chances for getting environmental information had relatively higher level of environmental knowledge. The teachers with more educational experience and chance for getting environmental information and pro-environment community had relatively higher level of environmental education performance. With regard to environmental education experience older teachers getting environmental information pro-environment community and the teachers with higher level of environmental consciousness practiced more. Environmental knowledge, however, didn’t affect environmental education.

The purpose of this study is to develop and apply a teaching-learning plan of apartment house class to improve middle school students' empathy for home economics education and to verify its effect. The study was conducted in five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation using the ADDIE model. In the analysis phase, the study set learning objectives after analyzing how community housing is dealt with in the 2015 revised home economics curriculum and 12 current technology and home economics textbooks. In the design and development stage, in order to evaluate the validity of the experts and to improve the empathy ability, the study goal design, the composition of the learning elements, the development of the learning materials, and the pre and post-questionnaire for the students were developed. In the implementation stage, the empathic ability evaluation was carried out before and after the beginning of the first class by applying the teaching-learning process plan of the 8th class. In the evaluation stage, we examined whether the teaching-learning process developed in this study has a significant effect on empathy ability by evaluating the pre-post difference of empathy ability. As a result of examining the results of the pre - and post - evaluation of empathy ability for the results of this study, both cognitive and communicative factors were improved, and the apartment house class had a significant effect on the improvement of empathy ability.

The purpose of this study is to survey the learner’s need achievement, interest and practical level of the learning objectives according to the teacher’s teaching method in home economics of middle school(Dietary Life Unit), to examine the differences according to the local situation, and to get some information to improve the teaching method. This study surveyed the eight units of dietary life with 459 students in the rural community (224 students) and Seoul(235 Students). The collected data were analyzed by T-test, F-test. To sum up this study are as follows: 1. When the need, achievement, interest and practical level of unit “food”are compared the students of seoul with those of rural community, the student of Seoul show high in “The use of Processed Foodstuffs” and low in “Cooking the Processed Foodstuffs.”The student of rural community show in “A kind of Cooking Method”and low in “Environment and Food Life”. 2. The need, achievement, interest, practical level of the whole unit in rural community is higher than those is Seoul. 3. According to teaching method, comparison Seoul with rural community is revealed as follows. Seoul region is revealed significance to discovery learning in “Cooking Foodstuffs(The achievement and interest level) and ”Environment and Food Life”(interest level). Rural community is revealed significance to discussion learning in “The constituent and Food Life”(The need level, interest level). Rural community is revealed significance to explanation learning in “Environment and Food Life”(The achievement level).
